Sure some fans are saying that his arc wrapped up great so all's well, but he's one half of a popular ship. I assumed Cody was one of the FIRST actors producers/Jeff would be calling

Plus Theo was one of the most interesting characters deserting his sister/ he was raised by the fricking dread Doctors!

Thiam aside, I was very interested too see how the new Redeemed Theo turned out. And I wanted to see how his relationship with Scott has changed over the years

And the cast and crew all loved Cody,

And it didn't even cross their minds to ask if he was free????

Watcher fans sure are entitled and a little insane, ngl. "No one is going to sign up for your service! We're all poor! You've made the worst decision, and you'll be back in no time!" Saying this directly to the creators really reminds you of how low the respect for people you don't personally know has gone. I miss the forth wall between creator and audience.

I get and fully understand not having the money to support them, but... Watcher does have fans with money. A lot of them actually. They have merch sales. Their live tour sells out most venues. They have thousands of supporters on Patreon, where the cheapest tier is $5. They're able to gauge the rough finances of their staunchest supporters; that's how they landed on the subscription price. Yes, this move will reduce their viewership in sheer numbers, but to say all of their fans are broke and none will follow/support is factually incorrect.

It may not be a decision everyone agrees with, but severing the limitations of advertisers and youtube in favor of artistic freedom is a good thing. Yes, even if it comes with a loss of revenue. They understand that risk.

Also, I'm begging people to stop treating this like "another Netflix" or something and instead look at it as, "I am supporting a creator I like, similar to Patreon." They literally said in the video that they don't care if you share accounts. Get five friends, and you'll pay $1/mo.

I hate feeling compelled to rant in favor of their decision because I have my own reservations about whether it's the best move. However, I know it's not a choice they made lightly, and I like to think they understand that they'll need to branch out like crazy to entice subscribers.

People who engage in the Hetalia fandom while openly disliking the source material and even Himaruya himself sound kinda like hypocrites to me. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but please stay away from me, this kind of mindset truly annoys me and makes me uncomfortable. Am I gatekeeping? No, not really, I just believe that being a fan of something should mean, you know, being a fan and liking the source material at the very least. It should be like, the lowest the bar can get. Below that, there's not being a fan.

why the hugheses wear the numbers they do

a lot of people tend to be curious why the Hughes brothers wear 43 and 86, and I wanted to do a small dive into why.

So where does 43 come from? First we need to start with the number 6. Jack once said, "No. 6 is the family number. Everyone has worn it: uncles, aunts, cousins, brothers" and Luke has said he wore 6 because his brothers and dad wore it. And it seems that before they entered the NHL, it was their preferred number. With that background done with, let's move back to 43.

According to Quinn, the first of the brothers to wear No. 43, he chose it while he was playing for the U17 NTDP team; "Going into my U17 year, I was always had No. 6 so I didn’t really know what to pick (between 30 and 60) and there wasn’t much for me to go with so I just went with 43 and I liked it and just stuck with it." The next year, when he was on the U18 team he went back to 6. Then when he went to UMich a senior had No. 6, and as a frosh he wasn't going to ask him to switch, so he went back to 43, really liked it and feels like "that's [his] number now," and obviously kept it when he signed with the Canucks.

When Jack entered the program Quinn passed 43 onto him. Apparently, the night Jack was drafted by the Devils, he saw a No. 43 Devils jersey with his name on it. But he chose to wear No. 86 because similar to Quinn, 6 was already taken by a senior member of the team. In this case that member was Andy Greene, the then captain of the Devils. Something that a lot of people like to point out is that 86 is a double of 43 and believe that's why Jack chose 86. In this article, Jack says he chose 86 because he previously wore it when he was with the Marlboros.

Luke, like his brothers before did, wore 43 while on the U17 team, 6 while on the U18 team, and 43 while he was at UMich. In his words, "I always wore #6 because my brothers and my dad wore it and then #43 because both my brothers came through the program and wore it."

So there you have it, that's why the Hugheses wear 43 and 86.

As an aside, contrary to popular belief, the number 43 did not come from their mom, Ellen. As for what number Ellen wore, I could only find that she had No. 5 while she played in the 1992 IIHF Women's World Championships, 21 while she was with UNH and 22 when she played as a kid in Dallas.

we talked a lot about how the incidents in delica absolutely broke ludger, but tbh, casey didnt come out of it unscathed either.

even when you finally learned the truth, you realised that they had never trusted you nor your abilities enough to even consider working together. rather, they took on the most extreme measure and didnt hesitate to make you their biggest enemy all the while keeping all their troubles and pains to themselves. best friends, friends, friendly acquaintances, private detective and their client — it turned out that your relationship was neither of them. was it truly your one-sided assumption after all? or perhaps, was it because you failed them when you could have known better and done better? still wanting to keep believing that your companionship was once real, your guilt started gnawing on your conscience. not only you couldnt save them, but your inadequateness also doomed them to their worst fate possible.

then, the opportunity came. you finally mustered up all the courage to utter an apology. even though they acknowledged it, they made no intention to accept your peace offerings. they reminded, "our alliance is temporary". they stressed, "enemies are what we are destined to be". what a fool you were, trying to save a relationship that never existed. either that, or you had never truly been forgiven. they wanted nothing to do with you. they needed not saving by you. it wasnt a closure you wanted but its still a closure you got. in the end, you were left alone once more, with the knowledge of a possibility that you also might not be able to save them again this time.

Oh, I would absolutely not do BSD well either. I just wish Asagiri had stuck to his roots more. He was a great comedy writer, and the beginning of the story was great for it. It's the action and Death Note stuff he can't seem to get mastery of. But for the immortal part: I'm not entirely sold that Fyodor's immortal, yet. It seems like yet another twists that will twist to reveal oh, shocker, he faked his memories to confuse Sigma/the ADA... or something. Could very well be immortal, but not 100% guaranteed.
