She believed g-d cursed the world by destroying the common tongue as a rejection of her, so she began stealing her descendants bodies over the millenia and tried to find a way to break the curse. She created technology far beyond the understanding of humanity, and built a GIANT cannon to blow up the moon (which housed the curse). Her plan was to then finally confess her feelings, but also become ruler of the world as everyone would look to her for help after the fallout from the tides.

Miku and Finé both create the inciting incidents that cause the story. They both play the role of the villain corrupted by the love for the hero. Finé becomes a lot easier to understand when you imagine that she went through the same things Miku did.

back in december when i was trying to find magic anime to watch to narrow down how i was gonna construct the magic system of this au i have, i kept looking for new n different shows ive never seen before and this week i realized i had never considered three perfect magic based anime id watched in the past to use as reference. i could watch izetta again. i could watch wandering witch again. i could watch shirayuki again, tho i forget if that one has actual magic or is jus fantasy-based apothecary. regardless!!! i haven't watched the other two in over four years so it's not like id be watching them knowing every detail. why didn't i think of this back then fjshshsha

Once I saw a tweet saying that Izetta and Finé were Maki Nishikino's grandmothers... and I swear to god, it changed my life. Once you see it you can't unsee it.

She looks like them so much! The hair style and colour. Her eyes.... Even her personality match with theirs! While she is super self-confident, Maki gets shy when teased and it's a loyal friend... Besides, she is also really rich.... And she believes in Santa... These two would totally encourage that... And her solo album is called Scarlet Princess.

I don't need any more evidences. It's canon now.
