The Kayak has Landed

 The Kayak has arrived if you have been following along with the rest of the class, I purchased a Lifetime Tamarack Angler 100 Kayak, in an attempt to re-boot my life and health after almost 2 years of dealing with cancer and it’s not so fun side effects and treatments, no more boo hoo-ing on that subject, I survived and am recovering.  Here are a few shots of my new toy. I cannot wait to use it, so without any further ado I give you the unwrapping of my Kayak.

All I need to do now is dress this pig out and customize her a bit and then lookout world Fitzy is back to having fun again.

Just Say Cheezzzzzzz-It! The Cracker that went to war

 Welcome to the Museum of Fitzy’s Fine Arts! As I told you I cover any topic or thought process my skewed brain pan comes up with, so with that I would like to share with you, photos of my Cheez its.

 I was messing with my camera the other day and I was fascinated by the close-up photos I had taken of my snack. That distinguishing orange colored square cracker … Cheez It.

 Fun fact about Cheez It, is that this upcoming month Cheez It celebrates its 101st birthday! That’s right fun seekers that orange square is 101 on May 23rd, 2022. Starting out as a snack for the Military back in 1921 By Green & Green Company.

 Green & Green Company maybe gone but that kick ass cracker is still being enjoyed by the world thanks to Keebler. So, sit back and enjoy my Cheez It Photo Gallery.

New Toy Kayak 2022

That’s right gang after a year of fighting cancer and dealing with the after math of cancer treatments, I have decided I am not staying inside this summer. I need to get the weight back on and the muscles I have back in shape.   So, after some input from a friend and a few months of research I ordered myself a Lifetime Tamarack Angler 100 sit on top Kayak. I can go for a paddle, or I can go fishing or both.  While I wait for my new toy to be delivered, I decided to follow some of the great DYI ideas that I have found. This one involved making a fishing crate, here are a few shots of how I am doing, I still have some work to do on it before it is finished but this will give you the general feel for what I have done.  The crate will protect my gear if I flip over or fall out or if I am in rough waters, so I do not lose my gear as well as if I am not fishing I can remove the gear in one unit. I can’t wait.

I am so excited . . .  It has been a long ass year and a half of being sick, I finally have something to excited to look forward too.
