Dutch met up with another big cat (who took some pity on him) and they had a lil nap together 😻 (I swear they had no involvement with the corpses in the background) Sequel!

Deep in Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, this endangered Florida panther—one of just two hundred that still roam the sloughs and uplands of the Everglades—walks along a game trail at night, the shadows of Virginia chain ferns dappling its coat. Photo by Mac Stone.

Florida Panthers at Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary
Photographer Brian Hampton allowed us to share this rare trail cam footage of a female adult Florida panther and her three juvenile offspring walking through Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary in Southwest Florida on January 4, 2015. Florida's official state animal has been listed as a federally endangered species since 1967.

Xenosmilus used to be the powerful top cat of Florida, so I find it kind of funny that our top cat nowadays is this poor little Puma who's barely surviving the chaotic land Florida has become. I feel bad for our little guys having to fill such big shoes 💔

Hosea: Dutch, where did you find it? Dutch: She found me. Hosea: Put it back before its mother comes looking for it.
Dutch: Her name is Fluffy. She can help us! Hosea: Put her back where you found her. Companion piece

A friend said this picture of a baby Florida panther gave Ben Affleck vibes, and who am I to not deliver such an idea?
