They would have much to discuss. Aplatonic robot/construct who picks a name that reduces themself to what they were made for in spite of not liking the purpose they were made for at all
#it has been too long since i read murderbot diaries. but secunit is the most aplatonic character i have ever seen ever#FriendProgram and Murderbot/SecUnit.... they need to talk. they need to talk.#the way they both lean into their given roles for the sake of not being found out... and hiding that they are corrupted/hacked respectively#they each spend so much time pretending to be something they hate.#as a pretty clear metaphor for masking while autistic. esp when secunit is pretending to be human rather than a normal secunit#OK WAIT THERES MORE.cuz when FP is found out as corrupted they lean into being evil and violent when they dont really want tobe evil either#both characters have the nicer roles that they have to play as well as the mean roles depending on the context.#when they dont want to be either. they want to just exist. and they thrive best with people who do not expect this from them.#and who give them the distance they need
