not sure if anyone's asked you this before/yet, but so you have any opinions or thoughts of the relationship between all of the pantheons? general relationship and possibly some more personal ones?

I've read many different headcanons and fanfiction where people have mentioned their thoughts on it, but nothing they've ever gone into detail about.

there's nothing really preventing them from interacting *👀 I keep remembering the smallest tiniest hint of freypollo we got* but that doesn't mean they go out of their way doing it, yk?

The pantheons I'll be mainly focusing on are the Greek, Roman, Norse, & Egyptian ones. I'll probably make little nods to other ones too tho :3

GREEK & ROMAN

Let's kick it off with these two!

Nope! The Roman pantheon started off as their own sets of gods - the thing is, they had very little myths written down so we don't know much about how they were characterized :(

Howmever. We do know that when they were synchronized with Greece's gods, you can see the little differences between them - for instance, the Roman gods were more Forces Of Nature than gods who went out and Did Stuff, like Greece's.

Jupiter for example! He didn't have the "fucks around" rep Zeus does! Jupiter from the Roman's perspective didn't go out and do much. He rooted on Aeneus, yes, but the myths of his children weren't quite as popular in Rome as they were in Greece (probably because they were. ya know. Greek heroes, and not Roman)

And Apollo. Oh, Apollo...the only major god who didn't have a Latin equivalent.

Rome loved you so much they adopted you and went "no. no. he was always here. no we aren't lying. see? he's in the Dii Consentes!" XD

Fun Fact: Apollo is basically multiple gods in a trench coat. Paion (Mycenean), Smitheus (Mycenean), Aplu (Etruscan), Apaulinus (Hittie), Grannus (Celtic), ect were all Apollo-equivalents who historians have concluded to be past incarnations of Apollo!

Also, I headcanon that Helios and Ra go WAAAAYYYY back and Apollo only met Ra like. once. before Isis did her blackmailing and Ra disappeared.

SO WHEN RA CAME BACK, WHICH WOULD HAVE BEEN DURING HOO BTW, APOLLO HAS NO IDEA! HE'S ON DELOS AT THAT POINT! THEN HIS TRIALS!

So when he rolls up to the next sun god meeting he sees Ra and is like "wait what who are you- OH WAIT!"

And Ra's like; "WHO LET THIS CHILD BE PUT IN CHARGE OF THE SUN???"

(Headcanon that Ra & Amaterasu are like. the defacto sun god 'leaders' who keep the meetings rolling. Amaterasu was very tired when Ra disappeared and she had to wrangle these fiery gods together XD)

"sure, why not" he sighed, making sure you were comfortable on his bed

Jay- Grian, it made the most sense in my head, but I actually flip flopped on this so many times bc he also works so well as Tim or Alex, but at some point I went "wait it's an au, we can see how the story changes with Grian as the protag" so Grian's the protag now

Tim/Masky- Scar, I'm a transparent desert duo enjoyer and had a similar flip flop with him as I did Grian bc he'd also work as Jay but I was halfway through that drawing and had a similar thought process to the one i had abt Grian

Brian/Hoodie- Jimmy, I wanted to keep the cast focused to life series and evo members and he made the most sense to me lore wise, especially with the idea that in this au he was one of the ones with the earliest exposure to The Watcher (bc I love Canary Curse symbolism)

Alex- This one was the toughest choice bc no matter what a fav is going to loose it. Good thing this based on the Life Series! As much as I Love the idea of Joel and Lizzie as Alex and Amy, I actually went with Martyn. Again, the character is pretty involved with the Watcher Lore so it made the most sense as the character that is arguably most effected by it. (Although for a brief moment I considered Mumbo Jumbo bc,,, how fucking funny would that be)

Jessica- Jessica's gotta be Pearl right? It makes the most sense for it to be Pearl, I don't even need reasoning for this it makes sense

Amy- So who's Amy then? Scott actually! He's not Martyn's boyfriend in this, he's just a really good friend of his who was super involved in the production. Also like in mh, he's Pearl's roommate.

Sarah- Ren. Can't have a life series au featuring desert duo and not have some renchanting. Who else would be one of the leading actors in Martyn's short film?

Seth- Big B, again Evo connection made sense to me, and depending on your own personal theory on who the third person running the totheark account is, both Big B and Ren have interesting implications, even if both their rolls are p minor in this au

It's set in a kind of nebulous time frame that's probably a little closer to present day, but it does still start with a student film project. When asked Why Martyn chose to use tapes he says something about wanting a more authentic feel to the film but in reality he just thought using tapes was a cool idea and doesn't want to admit that it's kind of impractical now.

In this au Scar doesn't smoke, but instead I like the headcannon that he just has boxes of candy/bubblegum cigarettes on him at all times. He'll pull one out, pause, and offer one to someone and when they say no he's just like "Okay, your loss" and watch as they get all confused when he starts unwrapping it asdfghkgkdjhfjsh

Is Grian gay in this au? Whose to say. (Real answer tho, I'm a notorious Jam shipper and while I'm not an active shipper when it comes to hermitcraft or the life series, I don't really mind it so the relationship is left kind of ambiguous)

what are the ikemen games?

they're a series of otome games by cybird!! there's ikemen vampire, ikemen prince, ikemen revolution, and ikemen sengoku. those are the ones on the english server at any rate. ikemen villains exists but i don't know anything about it because its only on the jp server right now ^^

these games are rated mature, the mc uses she/her pronouns, and she also has a set appearance. please mind the warnings!!

which game would you recommend for a beginner?

i've changed my mind since writing this and i've decided that ikemen revolution is the better starting game for beginning players. it's not as spicy as the other games, its easier to navigate, and ALSO it doesnt deal with as dark of topics as ikemen prince. it's still dark though don't get me wrong but all of these games are (to an extent ofc.)

i would NOT recommend ikesen as your first game because the colors are very bright and they throw a LOT of things at you at once. it can be overwhelming for a beginner.

ikemen vampire is a game where historical figures came back from the dead in order to fulfill a desire, something they wished they had or did in their previous life.

what ikevamp routes would you recommend?

isaac's route was beautiful. shakespeares route was AMAZING and so so dramatic. vincents route was insane so if you want something that will throw you for a loop go for him. arthur's route is INCREDIBLY emotional so be prepared if you want to romance him. he's very tragic.

personally i dont think i can give a good range of recommendations since i started playing two months ago, but ive heard good things about arthur, napoleon, comte (his route is good for lore!!), leonardo, and shakespeare (his route is good if you're looking to be introduced to the antagonists!! and if you want drama!!)

mozart's route has been noted as beginner friendly ^^

the routes are split between act one and act two!! act two routes have a bit more lore i think???

act one routes: napoleon, mozart, da vinci, arthur, vincent, theo, isaac, jean, & shakespeare.

act two routes: dazai, comte, sebastian, vlad, faust, & charles.

napoleon is kind of the face of ikevamp,,,, hes like malleus in a way. hes the obvious pick for your first route (except you should totally be DIFFERENT or not idk do what feels right!!) hes nice C:

mozart is fucking gorgeous but hes such a DICK. he gets better in his route though yk? the prickly but soft kind ^^

leonardo is so dad coded in that hes weird and falls asleep all the time. i dont really know much about him ^^; update he's creepy i don't like him anymore :(((

arthur. arthur arthur arthur. okay i started out not having the highest opinion of arthur but i want to let all of you know that you should one hundred percent give him a chance. he's such a kind, gentle, sweet person. he's tortured by his past but he's such a tender hearted guy. please give him a chance, you wont regret it. his route made me shed a few tears.

I WOULD FIGHT THE UNIVERSE FOR VINCENT VAN GOGH. he is an ANGEL. we do NOT deserve this man and if anyone hurts him i would start a RIOT. if he hugged me all of my problems would be solved and i would never complain again. his route is BATSHIT CRAZY THOUGH. i would highly HIGHLY recommend playing it but i was UGLY SOBBING by the end of it. watch out.

theo calls you dog <3 what a man!! hes pretty gruff and idk much about him either LMAO um update!! he's a very good negotiator. nobody knows the context of why i said that except for me LMAO (if you read will's route you know) hes very protective,,,, ummm dog person!! idk.

DAZAI IS SO WEIRD??? AND I MEAN THAT IN A NICE WAY.,.,,. BUT ALSO A ??????? WAY???? he enters the mansion through windows and his route is super angsty

isaac is my babygirl and the only one that matters. i love him. i wish to hold him tenderly and kiss him every morning and night. im gonna put a ring on that finger just you watch. he's a bumbling fool of a nerd and i adore him. he doesnt know how to emotion </3

after playing the interlude, i do know a little bit about jean and i already really like him. he seems very sweet and protective of mc, albeit a little awkward. but thats part of the charm!! <33 UPDATE HE FUCKING BITES YOU DONT TRUST HIM. the beginning of his route made me SO angry because not only does he not care for her safety, the rest of the residents openly disregard how she feels about anything. if you want to be pissed the FUCK OFF and hate EVERYONE this route is for you!!

SHAKESPEAREE'S ROUTE IS SO GOOD GAH I FEEL LIKE. IM BIASED THOUGH BC IVE BEEN FIXATED ON SHAKESPEARE MY ENTIRE LIFE I HAVE A PROBLEM!!! THE PROSE MAKES ME SWOON!!! (thank u dove for pointing it out LMAO) honestly i would recommend playing his route before vincents. it was vincents route that made me realize i was in love with him LMAO

comte is nice C: hes a sugar daddy??? uhh also hes very lonely apparently. victim of favoritism. i got a few chapters into his route and wow he is. really father figure coded. its kinda uncomfy but i'll try my best to get through it after jean's route. will update you guys.

sebastian is funny bc he ends up getting really attached to the mc and at the end of isaac's route he straight up tries to bribe them to stay WHICH MIGHT NOT MAKE SENSE NOW BUT YK ITLL MAKE SENSE LATER.

vlad has a fox named marshmallow nd likes strawberries nd likes to garden. hes also an antagonist for some reason. HE FUKCING SUCKS AFTER PLAYING WILL'S ROUTE AND THE INTERLUDE I HAVE DECIDED THAT I HATE HIS ASS AND I WANT TO PUNCH HIM IN THE FACE. STAY AWAY FROM WILL YOU ASSHOLE.

faust scares me but yk henry adores him so im sure hes lovely!!

CHARLES IS SO FUCKING CUTE I WANT TO HUG HIM SO BAD. PLEASE. HES LIKE A LITTLE PUPPY DOG. very traumatized though and i heard that what happens after chapter twenty in his route is really sad.

PLS leon is really nice!!! he's more like an older brother figure to me personally but i think his hugs would cure my depression LMAO

CHEVIE.,,.,.,. HES SO SILLY apparently he's really sweet ocne you get to know him but hes a bit prickly at the beginning (but hey, isnt that the same for half the love interests?)

YVES..,.,.HES SO WET CAT CODED. his route is so sad but sosososo sweet its so adorable. i want to hug him. he's like a bestie to me tbh i would fight anyone that looks at him wrong FR. HE DESERVES THE WORLD AJHSGDAJ his route is really soft and definitely one of the less intense ones if thats your cup of tea!! hes really sweet did i say that already. tsundere type.

okay i'll admit i didn't like nokto at first because he's the flirty type but. he doesn't really give me the creeps anymore? now that i know why he does that./ he's kinda just there for me but i can appreciate how witty and sneaky he is. okay so update, his route has really weird pacing imo. it doesn't show the two of them actually bonding a lot and instead focuses on them butting heads. mcs love confession and then getting together felt very jarring. the romantic ending is cute though!!

LICHT IS SOOOOO RPETTY and hes the reserved type. i am foaming at the mouth. I WANTED TO PLAY HSI ROUTE FIRST but yves was probably the better choice for my frist route since his route os apparently super heavy ^^; UPDATE yes his route is heavy. watch out for themes of mental health issues and self harm/suicide.

CLAVIS IS SO GOOFY his relationship with the mc is honestly so adorable if you pick him as a love interest,.., theyre so teasinga nd wholesome towards each other and if my future relationship doesnt look like tehres I DONT WANT IT. his route adds a LOT of insight into his character. the writers did an excellent job of making him appear as a enigma while offering hints as to know he really is. thank you chevie!!

jin scares me??? like i know hes kind and all but he gives me the creeps. apparently his route punched people in the gut though KASHGD

I ADORE LUKE. ive only played yves's route so far but luke is so kind. hes so sweet. hes so godo at talking peoplee down from anxiety and even though he has a temper himself hes so good at regulating emotions??? i want to hug him so bad. he was so nice to mc in the beginning of yves's route too.

SARIEL'S HAIR BOTHERS ME!!! he has a sprite with a whip and i hate it. umm he's kinda nice sometimes but i dont really have an impression of him yet!!

RIO IS TEH SWEETEST :((( I WOULD DIE FOR HIM. he is so kind to mc and i know the whole obsessed thing isnt for everyone (it put me off at first too LMAO) but really he just loves her unconditionally and wants her to be happy its so cute im gonna die. now, rio's route doesn't have much of the fluffy puppy we all know so well. he's much more serious in his route, and he's kind of a sad character too. tragic? tragic. his route was really good though!!

GILBERT. THIS ASSHOLE. (dies) anyways. may i introduce you to his weird ass gloves and their unexpected appeal. also he has a cane which is silly. his coat is weird. i am picturing that diagram vio made for his outfit ITS RIDICULOUS.

keith's hair looks so soft i want to run my fingers through it in a very bestie way. he gave me a weird vibe when i saw him first but the second he opened his mouth teh weird vibe disappeared. he just seems so sweet and gentle :(( OKAY OKAY so i'm currently playing through hsi route for the second time, and KJJSDFGKJGFSJHDSDGJHGFJH ITS SO FUCKING CUTE. gugguuh youre gonna have to trust me on this one.,.,. i promise you this route had me squealing and screaming and laughing and kicking my feet with a goofy grin so many times. obviously it has its tragic moments, but keith is so sweet through and through. i think hes my favorite now ^^

ikesen (ikemen sengoku) is the one with the japanese warlords. you get sent back in time by a LIGHTNING BOLT and have to rely on a physics student who got sent back with you to lead you to a wormhole>>??? its so weird LMAO OH YEA AND YOU PREVENT AND ASSASSINATION BTW. the plot is confusing but mitsunari is cute.

okay so i'll only be giving the opinions of the routes i have finished!!

mitsunari is a sweetheart. im really glad i started with his route because hes really kind. hes a little oblivious but hes incredibly strong and sweet and smiley and cute and GAH i love he. hes so sweet. ALSO if you want someone who will go like "why is my heart fluttering. what the fuck. i cant concentrate what is going on." GO FOR HIM.

kenshin's route was interesting? it was very sweet in the beginning and i LOVED how mc reacted to him going apeshit (I CANT SPOIL IT BUT OMG SHE WAS SO COOL. I WAS SCREAMING AND JUMPING AND LAUGHING IT WAS SO GOOD) but near the end of his route i got impatient. also theyre horny fair warning.

kennyo's route was one of those routes where i was like "WIAT THATS THE ENDING???" when it ended. its a good route, i liked the pacing!! he is kinda creepy in the beginning but i can see why some people like him. he is very much mature stubborn grumpy older man vibes if thats your cup of tea.

i started sasuke's route and was SHOCKED at how quickly mc came to the realization that she was in love with him. lo and behold theyve known each other for a month and a half when she finds out and its actually not weird. kenshin is jealous, yuki is sweet, shingen is silly, sasuke's route is delightful so far!! i do kinda feel like yuki is going to fall in love w the mc... UPDATE, yuki did indeed fall in lvoe with her but i dont think he realized it? i was a little frustrated with how they didnt communicate that they both kinda wanted to stay to each other. that was annoying. but hsi romantic ending was cute!! it gives the vibes of "he loves you no matter what route you take" even though sasuke doesnt seem to realize that LMAO

started kanetsugu's route, his mc is really funny LMAOOO OKAY UPDATE im basically done with it and although it gets REALLY BORING in the middle his route wsa really cute. teh romantic ending went so hard theyre literally the cute i was actually!!! smiling!!!! usually i read these things with a straight face HELP!!! his character growth is really touching and he really is the consent king. would highly recommend :(( hes so sweet.

yoshimoto's route starts very sweetly. they both bond over art, which is a shared interest of theirs. he treats her like a friend and not an enemy, although he can be a bit ditzy sometimes SJDJSDJ his route was one of the best ones i have ever played, i wasnt bored during it at all and his relationship with the mc is soo heartwrenching. if you like jihyun's route from mysmes i'd highly recommend because they have so many parallels ARGHH

ive seen a lot of people thirsting over sirius and he kinda reminds of a leonardo from ikevamp?>??> hes like a father figure from what ive gathered but apparently hes the type to deflect when you ask him ANYTHING

lancelot seems like a chevie type idk. i got a bit of background on him in harr's route but i dont know much about him ^^ UUPDATE/ he is very sweet also but he doesnt show it. very much internal battle vibes. hes in a complicated situation that involves mild spoilers i think so yk. but hes nice!! he falls in love with mc very quickly and honestly she falls for him easily too ^^; the route is very soft in a heartbreaking way :((

okay jonah doesnt have the best first impression but please wait for him. hes a really warm, sweet person. once he loves you he'll adore you endlessly. hes going to dote on you and make sure everything is to your taste and PLEASE give him a chance. his route is kinda silly at first because he throws money at you to win you over, but he shows his sweeter side surprisingly quickly too!!

edgar bright is an enigma. his mc is so mecoded its so silly. i will let you know my findings once i discover anything. OK SO UPDATE HIS ROUTE IS ANGSTY AS FUCK AND MADE ME ALMOST CRY LIKE TWICE. ITS A LOT BUT ITS SO WORTH IT. ITS SO GOOD SO DRAMATIC I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

kyle's route is the best beginner route and ive only been here for two months. PLAY HIS FIRST PLEASE./ his route was written so well it made me feel so many THINGS him and alice are so GRAHHHHHHHHH BITING THEM BITING THEM.

harr's route is absolutely your route if youre a sucker for domesticity and found family. its such a sweet wholesome route i loved it. hes so sweet to the mc and OMG IF YOU HAVE A WEAKNESS FOR EASILY FLUSTERED MEN YOU ARE GOING TO LOVE HIM. HE HAS SO MANY MOMENTS WITH ALICE WERE HE CANT EVEN LOOK AT HER BECAUSE HES SO EMBARRASSED ITS SO SILLY PLEASE

i dont have much to say about loki honestly? hes a little silly and his eyes remind me of will's.

1- Honestly? I absolutely despise Crescent x Palette. This is the one thing I really hate about Crest, him showing romantic love towards a FUCKING MINOR- Otherwise he's a pretty great guy, but did he really have to catch feelings for Palette? He's freaking 25 for fucks sake.

I'm sorry, it's just- ew.. I'm glad he stops hanging out with Crescent but I hate the fact he still does like the priest. Crescent should honestly put his morals before his desires and get rid of his feelings for Palette.

I know I made this ship happen in the Good Ending of Sunflower AU, but it was only for lore purposes for this ending's future arc. Imagine it like a choice in a videogame, that leads to a certain route: Palette chooses Crescent, thus Arti becomes queen and ends up catching the Hanahaki disease, out of her love for Palette. And now Crescent has left too and she can't handle all the stress of being all by herself. And this is where Neon steps in to save Artemis.

Other than that, I absolutely hate this ship and it makes me super uncomfortable. Also one of the reasons why the Good Ending isn't canon.

I feel terrible for making it canon in the good ending but I need that future arc lore man- Or, yk, might change stuff. That seems like the better option.

2-Believe it or not, I actually started to like Killer.

She's portrayed pretty well, and her reactions to trauma seem very realistic to me.

I would react that way if I was tricked that my son was a monster that killed my other son. I would be in shambles mentally and always on guard if I experienced the same traumas Killer did.

While indeed, I don't find her mean comments pleasant, can I really blame her? She never asked to be put in this situation and she was already mentally unstable before Cor.Nightmare suddenly fell for her and forced his way into her.

She's trying to be a good mother to kids that remind her too much of her abuser. (-Merciless I guess.)

Like..damn. This woman has gone through a lot already, she deserves some peace and hope.

ASKAOSKOAKS yk, I was thinking that if my life was a tv show the team slowburn angsty friends to lovers is having a great week because of recent developments. But basically, we met almost exactly 12 years ago, we bonded because I had a crush on his best friend at the time, he had a crush on my best friend at the time and they didn't want to date us lol and then we just stuck around. But we kinda cursed ourselves by bonding over wanting other people because there are always other people involved, he's currently in a very messy on/off relationship and they are taking some space to figure shit out, and he lives in a different city, but I live in the same city as his mom, he came to see her, we ended up spending about 10 hours together, things were said, questions were asked, feelings might've been uncovered, because I never truly thought about the possibility of me having feelings for him before Saturday, like I think he's hot, but I never thought beyond the vague awareness that I think he is attractive lol, like seriously, if you asked me last week I would've confidently said it's not like that between us, someone literally asked me on Saturday if I was his gf and I just laughed, but he went back to his city, we see each other once every 2 years at this point, I don't know how he's feeling, so like, I'm not sabotaging our friendship because I'm confused because we kissed at 5 am after a night out lol but realistically, we both had issues with long-distance relationships in the past and that's not something either one of us would be willing to get into even if without the other complications, so I can't date him logistically even if this was a thing that we multually want, which I'm honestly not sure, because I'm pretty sure he's gonna get back together with his ex, so I'm in pretend it never happened mode, repression at it's finest. —Ch 6 Remus starts laughing; full, genuine laughter that shakes his body and makes his eyes sparkle and brings a flush of life to his cheeks. He lifts his hand like he's about to cover his mouth to hide it, or smother it, and Sirius' hand snaps out to catch his arm. He pushes it down gently, and Remus' laughter fades slowly, leaving behind a smile and something that shifts in his eyes. Sirius pulls his hand back, his stomach all topsy-turvy and his heart thumping hard in his chest.

Maybe Sirius shouldn't have done that. He's never—he hasn't touched Remus since trying to remove his mask, careful not to do it without permission. In a way, stopping Remus from covering his mouth was—wrong, and presumptuous. He should have let Remus do it, if that's what he wanted to do; he just wasn't thinking, because he liked it, to see his smile and hear his laugh, and Sirius didn't think Remus should feel like he had to cover that at all.

"Sorry," Sirius murmurs. "I wasn't—I shouldn't have—"

…"You don't have to hold back with me either, you know," Remus replies quietly, his face softening.

Then remus getting it and telling him that he shouldn't have to hold back either.

So they're getting to know the other and trying to maintain a balance.

James chuckles. "Who said it has to be Sirius? You can. That'd tip the scales on the power imbalance, don't you think?"

The mere thought sends Remus' brain into an uproar of fear and desire all tangled up together. He could. He could, but could he, really? That's fucking dangerous. If it were Sirius to do something, then Remus would be able to just—go along with it. Less control that way, which is his normal, what he's used to. Five years ago, Remus would never have stopped to have this internal debate. Actually, five years ago, Remus would have fucked Sirius by now, probably.

Remus swats that thought firmly out of his head, because it's making his heart race, leaving him jittery. He's too enticed by it. Tempted.

—ch 8 This idiot, Remus thinks fondly. This lovely mess of a human being. He shakes his head with a quiet huff of laughter, still remembering his conversation with James. Sirius won't cross boundaries, so Remus is just going to have to show him that the boundaries have moved.

It feels momentous, this breach they've been so careful not to rush into, and yet it's also quite possibly the easiest thing Remus has ever done.

—ch 11 "Give me the glass, Sirius," Remus tells him.

"No," Sirius bites out, bitchy about it. "No, I'll keep it, thanks, and just who are you to tell me—"

"I'm your—" Remus falters, only briefly, then huffs. "I'm important to you, am I not? Or am I just a fucking servant to you?"

Sirius blinks, admittedly smacked right out of his bad mood for a moment to be very bewildered instead. "Um, what?"

"You heard me," Remus says sharply. "Do I or do I not have a right to be concerned about you? Someone very dear to you, that's what you said. But, what, just a servant who gets no say when it's convenient for you? Is that it?"

"I—what? No? Fucking—of course not, no," Sirius spits out in a mixture of disbelief and...anger, actually. Genuine anger that Remus would think that of him. "I—fucking hell, Remus, is now the best time for this? Really?"

"It's the best time when I say it's time. Give me the fucking glass, Sirius," Remus snaps.

"Alright!" Sirius bursts out, mildly incredulous and also baffled and agitated and tense and— He gives Remus the glass. Remus sits it aside, then drops Sirius' wrist. "I have every right to care about you. You gave me that right, and I'm not letting it go, especially not when you're hurting. You're upset. You're under an unimaginable amount of stress right now. If you want to challenge me, that's fine, but I won't back down."

***I think the above iis so important for a lot of reasons

1. that remus is admitting they're something, important to each other-- I mean, it's obv but also, it's finally said out loud

2. We see some of sirius coping mechanisms and his thoughts about them

3. That remus felt secure enough to stop Sirius from doing something that he felt is not good for him. This is the man who was just afraid to knock on a door. Even when he sees Sirius is upset about him stopping him

4. Remus did it anyways. Bc we know sirius wouldn't -- but remus could've been punished or killed for touching or confronting someone. But he did it anyways

5. (If you keep reading past picture) that remus knows it can and would get worse

6. He wants to take care of Sirius and knows that ultimately he can't fix it but he sees a small thing he can.

7. Another talk about boundaries and trying to make sure that Sirius knows he can have his own

—ch 11 "You don't have to apologize," Remus murmurs. "Of course you don't, Sirius. If you don't want me to touch you, then you don't. You can pull away. You can tell me no. You can have boundaries, even in respecting mine."

— "Sirius, literally the day we met, you tried to take my mask off to let me breathe. If you were what you think they've made you into, you never would have done that. We wouldn't be talking right now if you weren't better than them."

"That's just—that was just the right thing to do," Sirius mumbles. "It's barely anything. If I could do more—"

"More?" Remus laughs, high and sharp. "Don't you dare. That was everything to me."

Sirius' mouth snaps shut, swallowing thickly. Remus shakes his head ruefully, and Sirius feels his heart clench. "Oh."

"Never undermine your impact again, not to me," Remus tells him, low and firm, gaze sharp and piercing. "Maybe it didn't mean much to you, but me? It was more than I've had in five years, and you've found ways to give me even more than that since you tried to take my mask off. And it's—sometimes, Sirius, it makes me angry. Do you even know how frustrating it is that I—I can't give you anything back? I—I—"

"You don't owe me anything," Sirius says, the one who's speaking gently now, "and you've already given me so much. What I did—that's just...quite literally the bare minimum, and I don't want you to—to praise me for it, or feel indebted. You deserve that, Remus. You deserve to breathe, to speak, to have freedom and control and so much more. You deserve better."

You're the first to sit down and have a meal with us. You're the first to just keep taking your mask off on your own, because ah, well, who cares who does it if you'll be killed for it anyway, yeah? Those were your actual words you used, by the way."

"Was I wrong?"

"You also poured a drink on someone, despite knowing you'd be punished for it. You called me sir just to fuck with me. You wanted me to touch you, so you literally just rolled on top of me and demanded I touch you. For fuck's sake, you got me to keep my clothes off the floor by being passive aggressive."

"Well, it worked, didn't it?"

"And now—literally just now—when I eluded to wanting to murder people, you essentially just told me to calm down because so do a lot of people, including you. Oh, and when I said I wanted to murder for you, you looked like you wanted to eat me, and then you weren't even ashamed of responding like that. Actually, you scolded me, like I should have known that would rile you up instead of frighten you. I mean, Remus, I say this with deep, deep admiration, but you're fucking mental."

"Mm, well, sanity hardly gets results," Remus says, lips twitching when Sirius gazes at him with helpless affection.

—ch 17 I temporarily forgot that it's quite literally not allowed for you, considering your position, but also really acceptable while you're in the suite, should you so wish," Sirius continues to explain, in a ramble. "Not that you have to, obviously, but if—if that was something you...wanted to do, then of course you could. Just—I mean—"

"Sirius," Remus says, amused.

"It's—I only mean it's your choice to do it if you want, or not if you don't. Not—I'm not saying—well, you know, you have that freedom here. With anyone." Sirius pauses briefly.

--ch 18 Remus knocks on Sirius' door without a moment of hesitation.

Just raises his hand, by his own choice, and knocks. No fear, no worry, no restraint. His inner restrictions have been clipped away, and he feels really, really good about it.

—-ch 29 "So, I'm yours, then?" Remus whispers, eyes fluttering shut as Sirius brushes their mouths together. Really, he shouldn't be so enticed by the idea of belonging to anything or anyone, considering his position, but the mere idea of belonging to Sirius shoots a thrill through him.

"Mine," Sirius agrees. "All mine."

There's something heady about Sirius' tone, the undercurrent of possessiveness in it, something resolute and set in stone, indisputable, and Remus believes it. Something within him surges up in wild agreement, and it's true.

The Hallow can't have him; Sirius has him. Remus is his.

Remus has nothing. Has had nothing for five years. No possessions and nothing to claim, so he can't be blamed for losing his breath when Sirius leans in and whispers in his ear, "And I'm yours. I'm all yours, Remus, only and always." The Hallow can't have Sirius either, not when Remus does. It's good to belong, like this, when it's safe and wanted, when it's a choice, when it's a discovery they're happy to have made. Sirius rocks back and kisses him, slow and soft, and Remus thinks he would let Sirius own him.

He thinks, in the best possible way, Sirius already does.

It doesn't scare him, not one bit.

He's never felt so free.

***they're talking about belonging to each other. That is bc of love that remus feels free in wanting to be sirius'. And realizing it's the same. He wants for that piece of sirius to be only his. Not the hallows.

That the people behind the masks that the majority of the world sees, they can be themselves and find that freedom.

(Well, this got longer that i anticipated, sorry about the wall of text, anxiety made me do it)

Hey, the person that both recommended in asks and submitted Yuurivoice characters, i just saw a tiktok that kinda upset me and it made me kinda paranoid about the possible consequences of my actions so i just wanted to say:

If any of you following this blog ever want to get into the yuurivoice stuff, specifically bittersweet, please, i'm begging you, be respectful of the fact that he has his reasons to probably never make it 100% explicitly canon in the main storyline, don't be a dick/annoying about it and maybe also don't ask about it's canonicity in stream chat, it's been asked and he has answered many times before just watch the old youtube streams.

(And for the love of god, don't be all passive aggressive about him apperantly "profiting" of the idea of the poly by making an non-canon 18+ audio of the three of them for his patreon [which the patreon and by extension the exlusive content on there is basically his main income afaik and he's only made one or two of the poly out of all the monthly content that makes him money] but still "refusing" to make them canon, like that tiktok person did.

Making it sound all like intentionally manipulative, i guess? Like some sort of eqivalent to like a big studio queerbaiting or something?! What the fuck is wrong with some people?! Especially on that godforsaken app?!)

I usually stay away from both most fandoms (especially asmr/audio roleplay type youtuber fandoms) and tiktok (and especially said fandoms on tiktok) but curiosity got the better of me and i checked the yuurivoice tiktok tag and since i don't have a tiktok account i counldn't check the comments on that video to see how other people responded and i've seen some other people complaining about it not being fully canon on tiktok as well but again since i don't usually interact with the fandom it's hard for me to tell if the bad attitude about the ambiguity is a majority or minority kind of thing in the fandom as a whole.

And while i generally trust that most people following you're lovely blog are gonna be respectful, i couldn't help but be anxious about possibly adding even one other person being so negative about this to the fandom through my recommendation.

And like if you read my rambling on my submission, i personally can't relate to how some people seem so hung up on this needing to be so black and white anyway.

It is canon (and explicitly so) that these three people love each other (in whatever way), are family, are gonna stay together and wanna go home together. If i remember correctly he has said before that it seems like some people like to ignore the found family aspect of the story and how being loved unconditionally now is a huge thing for the one of the three that isn't officially dating the other two (the other two being a couple since the start of the story) because of his backstory.

Idk, since he has metioned that this is essentially a piece of emotionally personal vent art in a way, it just seems kinda disrespectful to me how some people go about this, yk?

And personally i find his reasoning in regards to it needing to be an inherently kinda ambigious situation because of the self-insert aspect understandable.

At one point to being asked about if they're canon he said something along the lines of:

"The best answer to that question is actually "You tell me. Are they? ""

theres also smth to be said here about the expectation of every polyam relationship being a triangle idk. i also dont see the relevance of an 18+ audio w all 3, i dont see how that would be baiting at all. Sorry the creator is having to deal w bullshit for that.
