I laugh every time someone says Penelope is more of a feminist who understands women's rights more than Eloise simply because she's LW because, be so for real right now, that is such a lie. Like Eloise has her moments and her feminism is very yte and privileged, but at least she takes the time to actually consider from other's perspective, even if she's rude here and there, and appears to make attempts to grow as a character (when the narrative allows her to rather than picking favorites). Penelope exposing secrets and being feared by most of the Ton, especially the women and young girls, for the amount of power she has does not scream feminist to me but go off.

mentioned this a while ago on twitter but in any au where bill and kryptos are like, normal humans, kryptos sort of manipulates bill a little into actually having a wedding by being like “you know it would piss our families off sooo bad to hear we got married. my dad might have a stroke. your mom would probably never talk to you again” and bill’s desire to piss off their respective parents and the chance to have the wildest, most batshit reception JUST wins out over general disdain for marriage and fear of accidentally showing a smidge of actual genuine affection for kryptos in front of people. the kryptos and cipher family homes both get the world’s most aggressive, flashy invitations telling them that their sons are getting married, that they are absolutely not invited and bill and andy would honestly LOVE to see them cause a scene if they try to show their faces anyway. the only location on the “invite” is a p.o. box because they’re not welcome but gifts sure are

god i am having such a conundrum right now i'm quitting my shitty job and trying to decide how best to do it. do i

1) last day this friday. i have an interview thurs and am pretty confident in a 2nd interview next week, so quitting now would free up time to prep for interview and hopefully recoup some sanity before starting a new job. con is that i have one fewer paycheck before may rent is due so i'll have to start using my savings sooner if i end up being unemployed for more than a month

2) last day on the 21st. i have to fuck around with trying to get time off for interviews and probably get written up for attendance, shitty job remains a massive psychic and physical drain that prevents me from job hunting and i would risk having to jump straight into new job without a breather. overall worse for charlie, but i would have a fat paycheck to pay may rent with which would buy me a few more weeks of financial security if it takes longer than anticipated to find a new job.
