I started local58! I have no idea what's going on but I'm having fun! I am reminded a bit of that Twitter ARG from a while back,, "the sun is gone" or smth like that? I followed LoeyLane's videos on that for a while and I remember enjoying it but now most of what I remember about it is just the Vibe, which was kinda similar to the vibe I'm getting from this!

Oh yes!!!! I completely forgot about The Sun Has Vanished, but yeah Local58 is pretty similar in the vibe! If you’re interested in hearing a breakdown or analysis about it, I highly recommend Nexpo’s most recent video on it!

YEAH!!! i can't remember exactly how i first got into it but pretty sure holly (the beloved) is the one who first recommended it, and the first one i ever watched was real sleep. i think "you are on the fastest available route" and "contingency" are my two favorites, though ^^

trying to get more into that analog horror stuff bc i LOVE it, i've also seen quite a bit of gemini house entertainment and i have a list of other stuff to circle back to through some irls :D

12. What is an image that viscerally terrifies you?

God this is so fucking lame but uhhhh stills from the Max Headroom incident. I cannot look at the thumbnail for that video without feeling the strongest sense of dread, just this sinking feeling in my stomach. I've never watched that video and I don't think I ever will, even tho it's probably something that's more off-putting and weird than unsettling.

I love these questions first off!! Ig I really like analysis videos of ARGs and unsolved mysteries, one of my favorites is Nexpo's analysis of the Local58 series. I also just watched blameitonjorge's extensive lost media analysis video, which really gave me chills.

20. Does the thought of aliens make you hopeful or terrified?

Hopeful i guess? Hopeful that we never make contact with them LMAO. Knowing how humans are we'd probably fudge things up and make them want to annihilate us or something.
