It’s been a long time in between posts, but I needed someone to talk to!

If you’re like me, you can spot a lie a mile away. I think, for me, it comes with my profession. Right or wrong, I am naturally suspect of people because as an Auditor, I see/hear people lying every day. Not being cynical, but it’s true! People lie when they get in a tough spot. People lie when they think they will get in trouble. People lie when they believe the worst of others and try to make themselves look good. The problem with lying is that it becomes increasingly difficult to keep your stories straight whilst you try desperately to cover your tracks. Throw them a bone, something to cling to, they’ll be none the wiser…..or so they think! But more importantly than trying to fool each other, you CANT FOOL GOD! HE KNOWS everything you do and can SEE what you TRY so hard to cover up! Let’s try something life changing! Let our yes be yes and our no be no! Let us KEEP our word so it can be depended on instead of questioned at every turn! Let’s suppose the good in someone instead of believing the worst. Let’s give everything over to the ONLY ONE who can change your situation and ALLOW HIM to change us from the inside out! Do you need deliverance from lying? Are you in over your head in a certain situation and you can’t remember whom you told what to?

I try to be loving even when they are unloveable. I try not to take offense. I try not to think the worst, knowing they are not the enemy! There IS an enemy and his name is Satan! He’s the evil one. He’s the schemer…..he’s the one who is deceiving my loved one into believing lies and in turn, they have become someone I don’t know. BUT GOD! HE has a plan and HE loves us more than we can imagine. I cling to HIM with every part of my being. I knew someone who used to do the same. I miss them.

Everything will work together the way it should. Having faith is hard and I’ve had trouble trying to see my purpose, I have found that just having faith is His plan is all I need to keep moving forward. Love God and have faith in him and His plan.

On Sunday, March 24, 2019, Maya and I both decided we wanted to be "official". Thereby, we became boyfriend and girlfriend. Since that day, my love life has been everything I have ever hoped for, dreamed of, and then even more. #relationshipgoals This is the longest I have ever dated someone and I do not take for granted a single moment I get to spend with the most beautiful specimen I have ever encountered, in all of the earth. #itsouranniversary These past 4 years have been the best ever, just because I have her by my side. Words cannot express how great it is to just have Maya around to experience life together. It is great to know that I have such an amazing friend, such a great confidant, and just a great partner. #ouranniversary God writes the greatest love stories of all time. I am just so blessed to be finally living and experiencing mine. I pray in Jesus name that Maya and I have at least 150 more years together, here on this earth. For it would be truly a blessing and an honor if we both could experience both of us accomplishing all of our goals and fulfilling all of our dreams together. #ourspecialday I pray that things only go up from here for both Maya and me. But no matter what the season, I can weather any storm life throws me as long as I have her for the ride. What if spent more time reading GOD’s WORD than looking at our phones? What if we prayed as much as we complain! What if we held our tongues when our flesh wants to say something that doesn’t edify anyone? What if our computer didn’t see air time for a whole week? What if we fasted social media for a month? What if we fasted and prayed for 21 days? What if we were willing to trade the nonsense for GOD-SENSE? What if we honored our wedding vows for life instead of just when we felt like it? What if we lived as a godly example everyday? What if other people were watching? Oh wait, they are! What do they SEE in you? Satan prowls around like a roaring lion! He is waiting for that open wound, door or window. Don’t give him a foothold! Stand against the enemy at all costs! Spiritual warfare is real and Satan is not that little man in the red pitchfork suit! He’s after blood and he wants YOURS! Make sure Satan has to crawl over a whole bunch of scripture to get to you!

God is so good! I always wanted to know who my wife would be growing up.
