“Everyone should be here any minute,” Cassie told you as she stood at her dresser putting in her earrings and adding a bit more makeup than usual. It was a birthday party, not a wedding you thought to yourself as you watched your girlfriend finish up the final details of her look.

With a quick sigh, she turns around to look at you and there isn’t an ounce of happiness on her face. “How do I look?” she questions playing the hem of her baby pink mid-thigh length dress that pushed up and out her boobs.

“I think you look amazing, but you already know that.. What’s up?” You get off of the bed and walk over to where she stands. Her hands are slightly shaky and she’s avoiding eye contact at all costs.

“Cas? What’s wrong?” You take her hands into yours running your thumbs over the top of them soothingly. You hadn’t seen her like this since her dad had left, but just a few days ago she was fine. Or.. at least you thought so. Communication wasn’t the biggest thing in your relationship but the two of you rarely ever got into any kinds of arguments so it wasn’t a big deal. But now you’re wishing you had, had that talk a lot sooner.

“Nothing.”

Her words were cold and sharp as if she had just slapped you across the face. She removes her hands from yours and moves towards the door when the doorbell downstairs rings.

Your eyebrows knit together in confusion and hurt as you try to rack your brain for something you could've done wrong.

Or maybe it wasn’t you at all…

“You’re drunk.” You whisper to Cas from in front of her in the kitchen out of the view from any onlookers.

“I’m not drunk..” She slurred a smile on her face as she tilted her head up at you. “Have I ever told you how much I like your eyes? Anyways I'm not drunk I’m just.” She brings the champagne bottle up to her lips to take a swig of. “Tipsy.” She finished.

“Hey, guys.” Kat smiled from the doorway looking in between the two of you. “We're about to get in the hot tub if you two’d like to come.”

“Actually-,” You start but are immediately cut off by the “tipsy” blonde in front of you.

“I’d love to!” And with that she’ was pulling away from you and stumbling out onto the deck to get into the hot tub with the rest of her friends.

Something was most definitely wrong.. but you let it go and made your way outside but opted for sitting behind your drunk girlfriend instead of getting in.

“Happy birthdayyy,” Cas sings with a smile on her face to her best friend across from her.

“Thank youuuu,” Maddy replies looking up at Cas than at her boyfriend with BB mentions how happy she is the two of them are back together.

“We’re not back together.” She immediately shuts her down and your eyebrow raises in question. You’d think they’d be back together with the fact that he was there at her birthday party.

“You’re not?”

“No.” Without a second thought you look over at Nate who was quick to jump to defense about it.

“I mean, I was gonna say no but why are you saying no?”

“Um, because we’re not.”

“I know.”

This is how the two were. Maddy would nit pick at the little when it came to Nate and he was like a lost and confused child in the grocery store not knowing how to answer the reparative questions being thrown his way.

So you tuned them out just playing with Cas’s hair and it isn’t until you hear the word babies, your girlfriend begins throwing up in the pool, and a chorus of girlish screams bring you back to reality.

You stand hurriedly whilst Cassie begins to spill a bunch of sorrys out of her mouth directed towards Maddy. Hauling her out of the pool along with Suze you can’t help but feel a tang of embarrassment deep down because of your girlfriend.

It’s been about an hour when Rue comes knocking at the door saying her heys to everyone before running upstairs to use the bathroom.

“You all sobered up, vomit monster?” Cassie looks up at you apologetically but her face doesn’t crack with a single smile and she doesn’t say a word.

When the two of you hear Rue and her mom talking in the foyer by the stairs you decid to check it out and follow after Cassie.

“I can’t get clean. I can’t do that shit forever.”

No one says anything then she pipes up.

“You don’t have to, Just take it one day at a time.” She looks around the room for agreement and her mom nods adding a small yeah as well.

Complete and utter bullshit. No drug addict is just gonna take it one day at a time it’s almost impossible; You don’t say anything though not wanting to add your two cents into the conversation. You and Rue weren’t close like that so it honestly was none of your business.

“Hey Cass?”

“Yeah?”

“I have a quick question for you.”

“What?”

“How long have you been fucking Nate Jacobs?”

When those words leave Rue's lips it’s as if time stops completely. Cassie nervously laughs looking over at you and then scanning the room with uneasiness.

“W-what, what, what are you talking about?”

“How long have you been fucking Nate?”

And when she says it a second time it’s as if you’d been stabbed in the heart and the knife was being twisted even farther. Maddys eyes meet yours and you can’t fully read them but you can tell there’s simpithy for you but mostly anger at Cassie.

“I’m not.” Send laughs nervously again. “What? I’m not.”

“What are you talking about?”

“Oh, I Just- I, I saw her get in his truck and then kiss him and drive off.” She stutters a bit trying to find her words. “That was uh, uh- like a month ago?”

“Are you kidding me?” You can’t find the strength in you to react at all. It’s as if your limbs have given out but you’re miraculously still standing.

“Cass, that’s like… really bad.” Kats words make you let out an audible monotone laugh. All eyes go to you and you can’t help but lick your lips and smile up at the ceiling.

“Sorry, I’m just in a bit of shock ya know, found out my girlfriends been fucking her best friends ex boyfriend.”

“Do you think that would fit on a cake?”

No one speaks.

“Congratulations on being oblivious to your girlfriend fucking her bestfriends ex behind both of your backs.” Your fingers make L’s as you move your hands up towards the light as if they were writing on broadway.

Out of nowhere Cassie begins crying trying to apologize profusely before she’s being cut off by Mads.

“Oh you’re crying!? You’re fucking crying, you fucking bitch?!” Maddy stalks up to her getting all up in her face, everyone follows making sure there isn’t a fight that breaks out between the two.

“You’re the one that’s hurt?”

“Maddy!”

“You’re the most self-centered idiotic person I have ever fucking met.” Maddy points one of her acrylic nails in her ex-bestfriends face. “You fuck my ex and cheat on your fucking partner and you’re the one that’s fucking crying?!

“Are you fucking kidding me?”

“Y/n?”

You look at her and you're more surprised you're not as angry as you feel you should be.

“You okay?” No you’re not okay but you know she doesn’t mean it like that so you nod.

“Rue? When was this?”

“Right after New Years.”

“You dumb fucking bitch I’m gonna fuck you-,” And before she can even finish Cassie is running up the stairs and towards the bathroom to get away from Maddy.

And while everyone makes their way up the stairs you notice Rue slip out unnoticed and decide to do the same. Rather follow the drug addict than have to watch a cat fight.

Days have passed since Maddys birthday and despite all the worried calls and texts you’ve received from each of your friends, Maddy included, you didn’t respond to a single one, because in all honesty you didn’t know how. You thought that you and Cass would Possibly get married and settle down but after everything that’s happened you realized that would never happen.

Munching on some dry apple jacks out of the box while watching Tom and Jerry in your pjs was really the only way to spend the day after having an unofficial/official break up. Then the doorbell rings, and you have no choice but to pause your show and go and answer despite how bummy you looked.

When you opened it you were tempted to slam the door right in her face and you did before she started pleading with you to stop and to hear her out.

“Look I messed up.” you scoff shaking your head.

“And you don’t have to forgive me because I don’t expect you to but I wanted you to understand that they weren’t together at the time do-.”

“What about us Cassie, huh? We WERE together at the time. Me and You. I thought you loved me and at least would have had enough dignity to not do it MORE THAN FUCKING ONCE!” She jumps when you raise your voice but you honestly don’t care. She brought it upon herself.

“But I love you.” she whispers.

“People who love each other don’t cheat on their significant others consistently and try to deny it when they’re called out on it. Goodbye Cassie.” You take one last look at her and then the bouquet of purple Hyacinths in her hand, flowers that symbolize regret.

And right about now you were regretting things too.

Omg this is so long. If you're still here, here are some of the works that I'm proud of. 1)This itsay set. This was my first time doing big gifs and although this is loooong I like how this turned out, specially the colouring. 2) This cause do I do anything except 2g shitposting? No <3 I had this idea even before s2g aired but decided to wait so that I have more shots from s2g and I'm glad I did cause Earn basically got confirmed as a wlw so (Also special thanks to Terry cause the Man and Air hc were hers,her phd brain ikr) 3)This cause dcjsdjidi SARAWATINE SOULMATES. I love how the colouring turned out despite the fact that ps crashed halfway and I lost the gifs i spent 2 hours colouring. I tried to do this with scenes from the series only but couldn't cause wHen YoU aRe wItH yOuR cAmeRA SHOW US goddammit. If this was ao3 this would've been tagged as Tine teepakorn loves Sarawat guntithanon xD 4) Still2gether textposts obviously. I KNOW that 90% people follow me for my 2g shitposting and I got an ask once saying how were they so accurate and the reason for that is I spent HOURS on these. Atfirst it took a long time but after a while I got the hang of it. It was fun (though sometimes tiring) to make these after each ep aired. I'm proud of it and the fact that I managed to do 13 parts? gsjsdjsj 5) Still2gether subs that looks fake but aren't. shutup this was my first time giffing but it was funnnnn looking for the (canon) crack parts after every ep aired.
