Elden ring spoilers...again :)
The more and more I read/learn, the more and more it's clear that the stars/space play a huge role in Elden Ring.
Tumblr media
The first shooting star was the mother of all the two fingers. It was a daughter of the Greater Will. What is happening in Elden Ring's space? There's also Astel and the fallingstar beasts. There's Ranni's ending involving the stars. There's Rennnala and her sister having magic involving the stars and moon. Radahn holding back the stars. How many other mothers of fingers were there? Because there's also the three fingers. The first mother was born from the first shooting star. How many other shooting stars are there? How many shooting stars did Radahn hold on?
The moveset of Metyr is important, too. During her fight, she releases what seems to be black holes. They are giant balls of black that also shoot light out them. At least it looks like light as the beams are very bright. When Metyr dies, it also seems like she goes into a black hole herself. My point is that space is playing a huge role in Elden Ring's story. Everything seems to connect back to the Great Will and Space. Mostly the stars and the moon, but I feel like space itself as well.
At the end of Count Ymir questline, he blames the mother of fingers for everything that has happened. He says that she birthed the two fingers of Marika's. That those fingers are still children and are guided without their mother. It's important to note that Marika takes guidance from her fingers as well. Now the lifespan/time difference is unknown of the fingers, but I would have to assume it's similar to stars. Their mother was born from a shooting star, so it just makes sense to me that they would share the same time reference as stars.
I really have to go and look into Ranni's questline again, as her own plan involves the stars. She has magic into the night sky. The fucking moonlight greatsword, the sword of night and flame, spells involving the moon, etc.
EDIT: I legitimately think the Greater Will is space. It's a mysterious entity or force, it created birth and souls, it made the Elden Beast with a golden star, and just so little is known about the actual will itself. It has to be space. Space is a great mystery for even today, imagine how much of a mystery it is for the people of Elden Ring.

fair warning: once i finish playing FF7 rebirth i will almost certainly open the floodgates and follow like a million tags so i can amass a collection of FF7 posts on my blog. the only reason i am not doing so right now is to avoid spoilers. everything will be tagged when the time comes and i will warn u with the proper tags to mute because i can’t guarantee i won’t reblog spoilers. but ohhhh man i am so crazy about this franchise and i will need to make a space for it here.
it’s bad y’all. i literally have the FF7 brainrot so bad that i think i might not be too far off from genuinely shipping characters. if you know me, this is a huge fucking deal. this is not normal.
anyway i won’t finish the game for like at least another month and a half most likely and that’s being generous so my blog is not an imminent spoiler zone. just wanted to mention my plans and take an excuse to talk about how much i love FF7.

JJK SPOILERS chapter 236 LEAKS
prediction.
Gojo isn't dead. Or we'll he's not gonna be dead.
1 Because in his fight with Toji, he stated that the only reason Toji didn't kill him was because he didn't cut of his head.
2 his head isn't cut off, he's just cut in half and as seen he can regrow limps. (Also, if he can't regrow it, I imagine Shoko can kinda put it back together. And as long as Gojo has enough curse energy. He can flow that shit back into his lower half like blood to make it usable. (Daddy needs his gun people)
3 Gojo also said bye to his dead friends, which tells me that he probably has something up his sleeve.
And when he said he enjoyed the fight.
I think that is him excepting he lost. But not died.
Also the rebirth flowers.
I think the flowers play a huge role, Gojo may not come back stronger but as Geto asked, is he satoru gojo because he's the strongest or is he the strongest because he is satoru gojo.
And I think he is going to realize who Satoru Gojo is without keeping the title 'the strongest'
4 sukuna said don't let me down. And how he will remember Gojo forever.
Sukuna the king of curses, should know about reverse curse technique. And I think it's known that Gojo was holding back due to sukuna being Megumi. (As stated in previous chapters.)
So while they were fighting fighting. Gojo) wasn't going all out.
And as seen through Sukuna's thoughts he does respect gojo.
So knowing this, even though Sukuna can't be trusted! I do think he holds strong loyalty for people who impress him.
(Uraume and now also gojo)
So I think he knows gojo will likely heal.
Now! DO I think gojo will remain a sorcerer? No!
Here's why.
I saw on a stream that while reverse CT flows through the brain, CE generates in the stomach and if that's true. Then that means Gojos MAIN source of CE is well... gone .
BUT!!Like Maki and Toji's weapons, we know things that allow others to see and interact with curse energy are imbued with it.
Like Maki's glasses. 👀👀(see where I'm going.)
Curse energy can be transfered and held.
The six eyes allow Gojo to see curse energy mainly the flow. Therefore the six eyes , must be a sort of pseudo generator of CE. That's why people can't just redirect curse energy to their eyes to be able to be on a six eyes user's level.
So having to use his last and only intact source of generating curse energy, Gojo will use reversal technique to heal himself. But end up leaving himself without six eyes and likely without curse energy like Toji.(the outfit has to mean something other then being Megumi's dads.)
Because although he can heal using six eyes it won't be actually healing from the root so once that input of curse energy is gone there will be no more.
Other theories.
1. We didn't resolve anything with kenjaku, and while sukuna is a villain, I don't think he was the main one. (Cuz how the fuck is Yuji gonna best this man if bro can cut through the world..like wtf Gege you killed gojo just to make another OP character concept qhehe)
So either 1. Kenjaku fucks shit up for everyone, either takes out Kuna, and by this time a healed Go jo jumps in the frey but since he had to literally reconstruct half his body, he will be severely weakened and due to this.
Personally I'd like to see him and sukuna fight side by side, both going all out. And if they lose they die together.
Because I feel if they weren't on opposing sides they'd actually get along.

Some FH: Retribution Guides
Sup gang! Here are some guides I made back during alpha/beta season, mostly just notes about what choices affect certain hidden stats you can use to craft your Step.
I highly recommend playing blind a couple times first just to see how consequences play out naturally before diving in. These obviously contain huge spoilers.
They should be mostly up to date, but I may have missed one or two things. Feel free to drop me an ask with any questions/issues. These guides just show dialogue choices and the affected stat. Everything is more or less in chronological order outside big sprawling areas (therapy/auction/endings).
Scar Guide - Remember setting your Heartbreak scar in Rebirth? In Retri, it's now a hidden variable that essentially tracks how well your Step is dealing with their trauma. Affects some flavor/variables at this point. Please see the last section for notes about the Suicidal scar, it's very different in Retri. Scar and scar level affect flavor throughout the book. <50 is considered low scar. Scar cannot get below 0 or above 100, it will revert to either if it escapes these bounds at the end of every chapter.
Clue Guide - For Rebirth and Retribution. Tracks how well your Step is doing at staying under the radar. Please note Ortega has 3 separate variables, Sidestep clue (oc), Puppet/Sidestep connection clue (ortega pup), and Puppet criminal clue (pup proof) . Herald does not have a clue stat at this time, he's too good for this world. Also includes clue for Special Directive. This stat affects flavor throughout the book and endings. 40 seems to be the magic number for most changes in flavor/consequences for Chen and Ortega.
Rangers Doubt Guide - hidden stat that tracks how much the Rangers are starting to chafe at the status quo. Does not have any pay off yet, will be used more in the future. Some Rangers will be easier to convince than others.
Puppet Variables Guide - Covers Puppet Comfort Variable, Puppet Individuality and Puppet Precognition.  PCV is how comfortable your step is in their puppet body and it affects which body you end Retri in. Puppet Individuality tracks how much your Step treats their puppet persona as its own individual personality. Precognition is how much you lean into your puppet’s boost powers.

mha 423 spoilers
tbh after reading the official translations I am pretty sure deku got a complete version of all for one and one for all. I believe tomura/tenko has it as well and i think they will be connected (not as a vestiage) going forth after tenko's inevitable rebirth.
Rebirth has been such a huge theme in this manga and especially in this last ark that I think it would be a huge waste for it all to end in this way. i think the "fist bump" in the end was significant and I think there is much more to tenko's story and future.
in the end we will have to wait and see, but this makes the most sense to me right now

I need to talk about the ending of Rebirth, because I'm apparently the only person in the world who liked it.
Putting everything behind a cut, and I would request that anyone who reblog this with spoiler commentary do the same as a courtesy to people who haven't beaten the game yet. It's been just shy of a month since it dropped, so we're still well within the statute of limitations on spoilers. Be nice.
A lot of people are really, really upset about the ending. It's been really weird to have people who went on and on about how they'd be livid if Aerith survived now being furious that she didn't, but I guess it just proves that not only can you not please everyone, but some people are incapable of being pleased.
I've warned everyone I know that Rebirth is the middle part of a trilogy; it was going to end on a low note regardless. That's how trilogies work, the 'ending' of a trilogy's second part isn't an ending at all, it establishes the launching point for the conflict of the conclusion. As a result, second parts will generally strive to be satisfactory with the understanding that it will basically never be satisfying. I'm not going to go into that any more deeply because it's not the key takeaway here, but it's super important to keep that in mind when addressing the ending of any second part, not just Rebirth.
The fact of the matter is, Aerith was never going to survive. That was never on the table, because it was never anyone's decision but hers.
In the OG, Aerith allows herself to be killed so that she can petition Gaia for aid directly, so that she can commune with the planet in-person in order to make sure Holy is activated in time to save everyone. She chose that. She didn't want to die, but she did want to save everyone, and she understood that the only way to do that was by sacrificing herself. Changing that would have been a huge insult to her character, a complete teardown of everything she's been since we met her all the way back in 1997, and it was never going to happen.
In Rebirth, Aerith is capable of dragging Cloud's consciousness into a pocket dimension she's made out of the last days of a terminated timeline in order to both hide him from Sephiroth while he recovers, and to get a working copy of the White Materia that she can use to save the world in the timeline that Sephiroth has chosen to 'save.' She has her own army of Whispers that can and have changed things, that can and have saved people from incidents that should undeniably have killed them. Incidents that did kill them.
If Aerith had wanted to survive in Rebirth, she would have. Sephiroth couldn't have stopped her. We see that in the game, because she literally fights him at the end alongside Cloud, even though she's already dead. Cloud saved her, and then he didn't—and then he did, and then he didn't, he did, he didn't, back and forth and back and forth and we don't know who decided where it stopped.
Sephiroth wanted Aerith out of the way, certainly, but in the end he left of his own accord. He's also the one trying to change the timeline from what it was originally, he doesn't want things to go the way they did in the OG; it's entirely possible that it was Aerith herself who dragged the timeline sideways into the one where she died, because he's wrong and she knows that's the only way to stop him. (I don't necessarily think this is the case, but it's not even close to set in stone.)
I see a lot of people saying that it doesn't matter, nothing mattered, nothing anyone did made a difference because she's still dead. That the only difference that could ever have mattered enough to make it worth it would have been for her to survive—even though it was and has always been Aerith's decision whether or not that came to pass—and I literally can't disagree hard enough.
I think we—and by 'we' I mean the players as much as Cloud and the rest, this is important—changed things in the only way that they could have been changed without condemning the planet to Sephiroth's desperately lonely form of salvation.
When Aerith died in the OG, it happened so suddenly that there was nothing we could do. There was no closure, we never knew if she understood how loved she was, that we would have traded places with her if we could, that nobody wanted her to have to do this alone. We could never really know if she understood how sorry we were to have failed. We didn't get to say goodbye.
Over a quarter century later, we got that. After all this time, decades of knowing that there was nothing we could do to save her but wishing that we at least could have seen her off, Rebirth gave us exactly that.
Aerith wakes up. She's dead because she has to be, but she wakes up. She gets to see how much she's missed, she gets to say goodbye, and we get to say goodbye back. We finally have the chance to not have her taken from us, but to let her go, and to see that it's her decision to stop while everyone else keeps going. It always has been.
Aerith was never going to survive. That was never going to change, because it's not about her—it's about saving the world, and it's about you.
But things are still so different this time, because we finally got to say goodbye, and I can't think of difference we could actually make that could ever be worth any more than that.

‼️ HUGE IWTV SPOILERS ‼️(also don't care if there are any grammatical mistakes i learnt english by myself don't judge 🙏)
the fact that every major moment in this show comes with fire is an amazing decision and it has such a beautiful metaphor and correlation with religion like
first it was a church fire inside of chaos, a flame of a human life inside of louis, a massacre, and pain pain pain oh so much pain, and then acceptance, and love, and worship "I saw him, saw his extraordinary aura and knew him to be no creature I’d ever known, I was reduced to nothing" and then some sense of security, a fucked up idea about happiness and a family, and eternity, and it was a rebirth of louis. here inside a chapel, surrounded by dozens of candle flames, of holy fire, under the christ, he found a real god, his god, like a 'devotee experiencing christ for the first time'
fire in storyville, denial of his own nature, torturing memory of the life and a family of a human that he once was, and reality that he now had to face, inability to control his emotions, and the consequences of unconscious impulsive actions, the birth of claudia, his daughter, his sister, his companion, his everything, his claudia.
a burning of antoinette and a homicide of lestat - louis is lost completely, day by day, he's tired and he can't keep up with the play pretend of a perfectly fucked family, with his claudia. with HIS lestat. and he's already torn between the present and the past and he wants to go back, he wants to be loved and be seen by lestat for the first time again, but he made his choice a forever ago, and he regrets it that instant. louis and claudia are reborn again, they leave new orleans
during a search for others like them in romania, it's an old vampire lady who threw herself in a fire and it's opened louis' and claudia's eyes on the reality of being a vampire without hope and guidence, and maybe for a second here, they thought about lestat, and felt a sense of compassion towards him
a fire in a mansion of some reach douches in paris - the first time after claudia's birth when she feels alive again, she found a coven that feels like family and she's riding a bike home and maybe just for a moment she remembered what lestat said about "an experience that feels like eating syrup while riding on the wind". and maybe it's weird but she felt herself being at two places at the same time - at home in new orleans, and at home in paris. "I love everybody and everything in this every moment, right every now!" claudia is alive oh so alive
and then it's an execution of claudia. a death by sunlight. and claudia is strong, incredibly strong, and she doesn't fall to her knees, but it hurts so much, and oh somebody please help me, i don't want to go, somebody please! she turns to lestat. she doesn't say anything, she can't, she doesn't need to. she looks at him "it burns so much i can't take it, it's under my skin, it's all over me, it hurts dad. dad. please. i need your h-". claudia is strong. so strong, she manages to kill lestat just by looking once in his eyes, while being burned alive by the sun
louis setting the théâtre des vampires on fire, not feeling a single emotion but a raging flame of anger after being resurrected. and louis is a dead man walking, two times more literal or ironical this time. and he's leaving paris because paris burns in all the colours of fire.
and then it's louis walking into the burning rays of sun in san francisco after meeting a young reporter, who made him plunge into an ocean of devouring memories of new orleans, of lestat, of his death, of his birth, of his claudia, and it was all so suffocating and it burned and burned and burned underneath his skin, and there he was again. dying. being born. becoming a new louis, an unprecedented louis, a polished to a shine mask of louis, that he would have to wear for the next 77 years.
"The sun as the giver of all life and the vampire as the epitome of the undead, the diametric opposite to life itself..."
"...are we closer to vampires because we too can be burnt, or are they closer to us for it?"
