ISP resellers in USA
Tumblr media
ISP resellers in the USA are companies that purchase internet services from wholesale Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and resell them to their customers. These resellers often offer customized services, such as branding and packaging, to differentiate themselves from the original ISP. Here are some notable ISP resellers in the USA:
ISP Supplies: Offers wireless networking equipment and devices for Wireless Internet Service Providers (WISPs). They provide access to a full-time dedicated support staff and offer a range of network equipment and devices.
Candid8: As an ISP reseller based in Texas, Candid8 provides a variety of internet services tailored to meet the unique needs of its customers. Candid8 focuses on delivering reliable connectivity and exceptional customer service, making it a standout option in the ISP reseller market.
OptaNet: Allows businesses to become internet resellers and white-label their products. They provide a range of internet and VoIP services that can be resold to customers.
Virtual ISP: A wholesale internet broadband provider that allows resellers to offer broadband internet connections in most areas of the US. They offer wireless broadband service that provides data connectivity to the internet anywhere T-Mobile or AT&T cell service is available.
EarthLink: A popular wholesale internet provider that offers DSL, cable, and fiber optic service, depending on location. They require a significant upfront investment and working with larger ISPs to purchase and resell their bandwidth.
Benefits of Becoming an ISP Reseller
Becoming an ISP reseller can be an attractive option for businesses looking to offer internet services to their customers. Some benefits include:
Lower Capital Investment: ISP resellers don’t need to purchase or maintain their own infrastructure, which can save on capital expenditures.
Technical Support: Many ISP resellers offer technical support to their customers, which can be a valuable asset for businesses that don’t have in-house IT expertise.
Customization: ISP resellers can customize their services to meet the specific needs of their customers, which can help to differentiate them from competitors.
Scalability: ISP resellers can easily scale their services up or down to meet changing customer demands.
ConclusionISP resellers in the USA play an important role in the internet service market by providing customized services to their customers. By partnering with wholesale ISPs, they can offer a range of internet services without the need for significant upfront investment. If you’re interested in becoming an ISP reseller, it’s essential to research the different options available and choose a partner that aligns with your business goals and values.

if nintendo can stop selling old games via subscription and start selling them as separate 5-20 sales. AND fix everything about their new age development philosophy that puts "make games that make money" over "make games that are good". AAAAAANDD get over the godawful design minimalism/lack in attention to composition ditch that theyve been stuck in. i can forgive them

the fellowship at a hardware store, from someone who works at a hardware store:
sam: is in the nursery!! goes straight to the discount/dying plants and piles his cart full of wilted and sad plants. likes to rescue the houseplants first, has a soft spot for perennials and citrus trees. is a nightmare to check out but is very sweet about it. dirt and leaves everywhere. like, everywhere. they have to sweep after he’s gone. surprisingly strong and hauls big bags of dirt.
frodo: enjoys home improvement!! likes to wander carpeting and organization, hunts for good deals and keeps tabs on the sales weekends. he likes to peruse the shower curtains and closet accessories. likes to refurbish old furniture he finds off the side of the road- currently fixing up an antique dresser to put in the master bedroom.
merry: doorknobs, handles, dresser nobs. he likes to pick out the interesting and antique ones and customize his home with them. he really likes the oddly shaped ones, he has one starfish and one pickle on his nightstand table. likes to joke about touching all the knobs and fiddling with the knockers.
pippin: is lost in the lighting department. he’s staring up at all the pretty lights and hypnotizing fans. likes the remote controlled lights, enjoys messing with the demos. also likes collecting paint chips. (pippins also the kind of person to get really high and shit in the display toilets.) does not buy anything, maybe some beef jerky and skittles at the check outs.
boromir: this man has like 80 projects going on and is remarkably proficient in every conceivable area featured in the store. he’s here so much people think he works here. he kinda does. he’s happy to advise you, lead you to products, and lifts heavy things for little old ladies and swooning maidens. he’s happy to grab the things on the highest shelf as well as carry those bigs bags of dirt out to your care. he is just a naturally pure and helpful soul. <3
aragorn: has lost himself in scrap wood. straight to the lumber yard, straight to the pile of damaged and recycled wood. once a month, he comes and loads up as much as it will fit in a pickup truck. no one knows what he does with it but he keeps coming back. there are several theories around the store. either he’s building a bunker, has a side hustle by reselling it, makes massive fires or he does wood work. alternatively, he’s a homeless man building his own cabin in the woods so he can live away from society. that’s one’s probably the closest.
gandalf: mixes his own paint. he doesn’t work there but somehow he keeps getting back there and making his own custom colors. was known to pull a miracle and turn gray paint back into white. no one knows how he did this. likes to camp out in the seasonal section. enjoys lounging on couches and swings for long periods of time.
gimli: is so excited to walk into the tools section. wants all the toys. likes power tools in a way that’s both funny and scary. really likes chainsaws and leaf blowers, possibly because they pose the biggest threat to legolas. often gets flagged out the door because no one person needs that many tools and he must be up to something. he always beeps out the door because inevitably someone forgot to take off one of the sensors of his many, many tools. he used to be nicer about this but lately has lost patience with always being stopped out the door, and often will make a show of waving his receipt before leaving.
legolas: spends a good amount of time in the garden. i imagine he gets enamored with the fountains and ponds rather quickly, also likes the statues and fun pots. also, wanders through the garden and samples the plants. by samples i mean eat small bites of it, and if he finds the quality satisfactory he will purchase it. this is rarely the case and he often just goes around eating small bites of houseplants.

Another random head cannon of mine
Jason Todd /Todd the Fox just like the character from the movie "Hound and the Fox"
Is it just a coincidence they have the same name? I think not!
Allow me to elaborate further on my point:
Jason combines elements from both cats and dogs and expresses them in different ways throughout his life.
•Before he was adopted by Bruce and he had to fend off for himself in the streets he utilized his small frame to wiggle his way out of fights he couldn't handle and at the same time he could sneak easily to steal things he could resell from various metal scrap dumbing spots.(That description also matches a raccoon oh well) So, traits that match a cat's abilities.
Really cautious around people and sharp-tongued being raised around crime alley slang but at the same time loyal to his loved ones(let's not forget that foxes depending on the species live in social groups or mate for life) Loyalty is usually a trait attributed to dogs.
•As Robin he was bright and cheeky and dared with his newfound strength and moves to bring down bigger people than him. Usually (in a somewhat classic robin fashion) he'd make them fall into his little traps or simply annoy them with his antics.(Foxes for centuries in various mythologies and cultures are labeled as tricksters and sneaky pranksters)
That doesn't mean he didn't go face to face with them at all but humiliating goons was way funnier.
When it came to Gotham's rogue gallery he switched into a more serious "hunting mode" to take them down by being meticulous on his planning and having an intuition on when to strike(just like how foxes hunt in the snow).
•After the incident ™ and becoming Red Hood his appearance changed drastically and similarly his skill set got broader by including more sharp movements and heavy stances compared to the flowy elegant flips of Robins.
He now chooses a more direct approach on taking down his targets but still utilizing his agility and cat-like reflexes.
(so a big strong frame that matches that impression of hunting dogs and mannerisms of that of any cat)
Also some other little things that reinforce that idea:
-He's not really vocal as a person but when he laughs(especially when he wears the red hood with the voice modulator) it sounds menacing and hilarious at the same time.
-Despite his weight his footing is light just like when he was Robin, almost competing with Damian's and Cass(who were trained for stealth from birth basically)
-His hair in the earliest version of his character was actually red before it was established as black. Generally his character is associated with the color as a Robin and Red Hood later (so a classic Red Fox)
-He's generally characterized as a dog person and (I think) it's stated or implied in the comics too, even if he doesn't have a pet dog like Damian or Dick but his reserved and introverted nature (and the whole could-be-househusband if he didn't die vibe) matches more the usual depiction of cat owners( in media and somewhat stereotypically, so not based in real studies, not all cat owners are the same)
Definitely would be at some point the brother version of "dad doesn't want me to get a cat" and then "dad and the cat vibing"
-Lastly he appears to be difficult to approach but when the right person appears he warms up pretty quickly (in a not so noticeable manner)
(Foxes can be trained and domesticated in certain a degree and are pretty social and friendly in their own way even if for some reason humanity decided not to fully integrate them just like other animals. No, that doesn't mean of course that you can go out there and domesticate a random wild fox)
Let's not forget Little Prince and his fox friend of course.
So in conclusion, a fox is just cat software running on dog hardware and Jason Todd is actually just like that.
Definitely not the only animal that matches his character but certainly an underrated one.
Pretty sure he'd like the movie "The Fox and the Hound "and considered one of the Disney classics.
What do you think? I'd like to hear other opinions on the matter.

YAY SEPTEMBER, CLOVERCOIN IS BACK!
[ Original Patreon Post ] Phew, almost forgot the life updates after doing all those art packs in the other post. So let's catch up with what's happening with CloverCoin! Life has been very very busy since I got back from my mom's funeral. Our dog Junior (rottie) had a previous elbow injury that wasn't healing over and when I got back home we decided to take him to the vet for a second look since the pain meds they gave us ran out. Turns out Junior had big swollen ball of cancer in his elbow and he was never going to regain function in that arm again. He was in so much pain we were really apprehensive on what the right course of action was. But the vets all worked with us since they knew Junior so well from all his previous visits, with their help we managed to get an extra fast amputation surgery scheduled for the infected arm. It was extremely expensive but it gave our dog immediate pain relief while we figured what treatment plan we were going to do next. Originally we all thought it was bone cancer and that he would likely need to be put down to avoid further pain in the very near future even with his amputation. With further testing and investigation of his cancer arm, we found out it was actually a type of blood cancer of his white blood cells. We all assumed if it's blood and fluid that must mean it's everywhere, right? We were wrong AGAIN! Wither further scans we found no further signs of cancer growth in his body, lymph nodes, or organs. With this new information we made the decision as a family to pursue oncologist for Junior and get him chemo / cancer treatments. It drained the rest of our savings account that we've been working so hard for to buy a house next summer... But Junior himself has completely bounced back to the happy dog he's always been. He's eating again, learning how to run and play on his one foreleg, and just excited to still be here. So while it did cost all of my savings, I have to say it's been worth it. With his reviewed case, he went from less than 6 months to live to possibly living 2-3+ more years now. So we're all so happy and grateful to still have our service boy still with us. Now that we're on a routine with Junior and his chemo treatments, I'm also getting back to work on my end! CloverCoin Patreon is back online for September 2024! We're so excited to see so many patrons stuck around and how excited you all are for more art! Thank you!!! I'm currently working on setting up a Bigcartel shop page with all of our stickers and postcard goods. I'll be sure to announce the shop's grand opening here soon as it's all ready. Thank you so much for all of my patrons testing out merch every month with me so we can make this possible! Last big to-do on my list now is that my current desktop Cintiq is not working for me. We had an original Cintiq 22 HD from 2014. But that poor thing died last year. We ordered a new tablet on super sale from amazon but.... We're very unhappy with the product and it doesn't work with my desk or work station. So we'll be taking it down and trying to resell it to get our money back. However this means I still do not have a desktop tablet to work with for online streams and recordings. REALLY BUMS ME OUT! I'm very fortunate that I still have my ipad and it's been working great. So I'm not totally without a tablet for work. But Prov and I will now be making an effort to replace my Cintiq tablet with a new one maybe before the year is over. Ouch my poor savings account, it's already taken such a beating from all the vet bills and now I have to replace very expensive hardware? yuck! So... Lots of money being spent. But overall we're very lucky and we're so happy. I'm just so grateful to have my happy dog recovering really well. I'm glad my ipad works great even after being beat up for past 7-8 years?? Woah! Good job lil buddy. Just... A lot has gone wrong this year. A lot of bad shit has happened. And Prov and I are so damn lucky to be here and have everything we do. So I'm going to keep working VERY HARD to get all this updated, shop posted, commissions completed, and make back every single dime of my savings!!! OR SO HELP ME! >:0 Thanks everyone for sticking it out while we're figuring out every bump in the road. We really appreciate all your patience and kindness. You're all the best and I can't wait to share even more art with you all! AJD . ART

Tech Refresh? Navigating the Maze of Hardware and Software Resellers
Tumblr media
Upgrading your company's technology can be daunting. New hardware, complex software, and ever-evolving security needs all require careful consideration. This is where hardware resellers, IT equipment resellers, and software resellers become your invaluable allies.
Who are these Tech Transformers?
Computer Resellers: These companies act as middlemen between tech giants and businesses like yours. They sell a wide range of computer hardware, from desktops and laptops to servers and networking equipment.
Hardware Resellers: These specialists focus on the physical components – the IT equipment that keeps your business running. They offer a vast selection of new and often refurbished hardware, providing cost-effective solutions.
Software Resellers: Don't forget the intangible side! Software resellers are experts in the world of software, offering licenses for everything from productivity suites to specialized business applications.
Security Software Resellers: In today's digital landscape, cybersecurity is paramount. Security software resellers provide essential antivirus, anti-malware, and firewall solutions to safeguard your data and systems.
Why Partner with a Reseller?
Beyond simply selling products, resellers offer a range of benefits:
Expertise and Guidance: IT equipment resellers and software resellers have in-depth knowledge of the latest technologies and can help you select the right hardware and software to meet your specific needs and budget.
Cost Savings: Hardware resellers often offer competitive pricing on refurbished hardware, allowing you to access high-quality equipment without breaking the bank. Security software resellers can bundle solutions, providing cost-effective security for your entire network.
Convenience: Resellers are a one-stop shop for all your tech needs. They can handle everything from product selection to installation and configuration, saving you valuable time and resources.
Support: Computer resellers often provide ongoing support, helping you troubleshoot problems and ensure your new technology is used to its full potential.
Finding the Perfect Tech Partner
With so many options available, finding the right reseller is crucial. Here's how:
Identify Your Needs: Start by defining your specific requirements – hardware upgrades, new software licenses, or enhanced security solutions?
Research and Compare: Look for reputable resellers with experience serving businesses in your industry.
Seek Recommendations: Ask colleagues and industry contacts for their preferred resellers.
Consider Support: Prioritize resellers offering ongoing support to ensure you have a reliable partner for the long term.
Investing in the Future
Partnering with a trusted hardware reseller, IT equipment reseller, or software reseller is a wise investment. They can guide your tech refresh, ensure seamless implementation, and provide ongoing support. With the right team by your side, you can navigate the ever-evolving tech landscape with confidence, empowering your business for future success.

I'm trying to get into Linux. What's the best thinkpad for running arch or any Linux distro for that matter?
I'll be honest, I don't have a thinkpad so I can't help you there
although, any computer from 2012-2015 will probably be a better bet than a newer computer. I like the dell latitude line of computers if that's what you want to go for. Business computers are build to last so they will be better in the long term, not only that but you can find resellers for them in bulk because companies tend to get rid of their old hardware often.

For those who haven't been paying attention to the Switch modding scene lately, I wanted to point out the existence of two new products:
MIG Switch cart: Stores Switch ROMs on its micro SD card to play on official hardware
MIG Switch dumper: Backs up physical Switch cartridges to a computer in a file format useable with the MIG Switch cart
What's the problem?
It's important to know about these new items for a couple reasons. First, they might be of interest to anyone with a large, physical Switch collection to back up games without installing custom firmware to a Switch. Second, they have the potential to make buying used Switch games a lot riskier.
With the MIG Switch being the first reproduction Switch cartridge with a ton of public attention, there's a good likelihood someone will reuse the tech to develop similar cartridges for single games. If that happens, the used Switch game market is likely to become similar to the used DS game market, where listings have to be read carefully to avoid knockoffs and low prices could be a bad sign.
Even if reproduction carts never get made, there's also the issue of how the MIG Switch cart works. To function with official hardware, the cartridge requires an extra key from a dumped cartridge to bypass the security of card slot. Each key is unique to an individual cartridge. If one console goes online with the MIG Switch using that key while another console goes online with the original game, there's a good chance the accounts on both consoles will get banned. Unfortunately, this means that if someone bought a game, dumped it with the dumper, and resold it. They're only one simultaneous internet connection away from getting their buyer banned.
We still have some time before we find out if either of these potential problems will take place. However, I've been on more than a few message boards and seen more than a few people claiming that they at least intend to buy, dump, and resell games.
What can you do?
All of this is fairly problematic, and (truthfully) now that both the cartridge and dumper are in folks' hands, it's a matter of when someone will experience an issue not if.
That's why knowledge is import in this situation. If you're someone looking for official cartridges or to avoid potential resells, you have three options at the moment:
Buy new. New games from reputable stores won't have had the chance to be messed with and will undoubtedly be the real deal.
Read listings closely. If a price online from a secondhand retailer seems too good to be true, you'll want to triple check the listing's details and provided images.
Scrutinize the cartridges. Official Switch cartridges have a very specific look, feel, taste, and quality to them. If you buy a cartridge that looks even slightly "off," there's no harm in returning it.
Ultimately, it comes down to all of us being attentive shoppers and pointing out any listings or resellers that might be problematic.

so, as of October 2023, windows no longer is supporting windows 7 or 8 keys for windows 10 or 11. makes sense out of context, yeah?
except many windows 7 and almost all windows 8 devices can run windows 10. so they can just buy a windows 10 license right?
nope, windows no longer sells windows 10 licenses. you can only buy them from third party people who harvest them off old broken computers and resell them and they may or may not work after you buy them.
they also cannot just upgrade to windows 11 due to its strict requirements for hardware.
and they cannot (safely) keep using 7 or 8 because windows no longer is doing security or exploit updates for anything before 10.
so windows cannot be updated on these devices, but they also cannot get windows reinstalled in the case of severe OS corruption or other issues that may come up.
honestly I'm so mad about this rn. there's WAY more people with old computers than some people might think too. I'd guess over 50% of the computers I work on came with 7 or 8. I'm so mad
