"I'm sighing in my dreams"
how are you guys?!?
I forgot to check my school messages lmao (I do online school), I woke up late opened my laptop and sat there waiting for the teachers to reply to my messages. Guess who forgot yesterday and today are holidays? I DID! Honestly, I was so stressed out but I started by reading some bio, then did my chemistry homework. After that, I met up with my tutor and studied Enzymes with her. Then I sat down again to do some speed running, looked into a webinar for my French learning and self-care and gosh it's tiring to be a student!

so actually i'm not sure i've ever posted about this headcanon on here but ... it's "N yelling about knitter hob" time i guess???
so first of all, HOB + HANDICRAFTS in general
but especially hob + knitting, because... i imagine it'd be something he'd pick up for practicality to begin with, but then have time to perfect, and that he holds on to it as a hobby. i think he'd really appreciate indie wool dyers and the availability of unique fibers and blends and colors in modern-day knitting. i think he'd really appreciate that there is always something new to learn or try in knitting, as well as the familiarity and coziness of mindless knitting in front of the telly or while watching webinars or boring zoom work meetings. and i think he'd especially appreciate how knitting brings folks together
like... please imagine hob holding stitch n bitch sessions at the new inn??? hob having a knitting circle??? and it's full of older folks who love this sweet young man in his 30s, and he allows them to believe he's just a really quick study, but he's also doing advanced double knitting and fancy colorwork and brioche and teaching these seasoned knitters things. hob hosting little informal knitting classes at the student union. hob going to charity shops and unravels thrifted sweaters for the yarn and making lovely things with it. hob turning his own wooden needles, even. hob darning his knitted socks and repairing his knits when they fray and holding on to the same pieces for years and years. dream coming over and hob's entire living room is taken up by blocking mats for an enormous snuggly shawl for his elderly neighbor who suffers with joint pain in the winter months
all this to also say—i love love love hob in fall-colored jumpers just as much as the next person but. i invite y'all to imagine the funky hand-knit jumpers potential of knitter hob with me. hob makes all the things by stephen west because colors! textures! cool stitches! and becomes known as the professor with the kinda weird but awesome colorful hand-knit cozy jumpers and scarves (like this and this)... the first one of which dream naturally steals for himself every time he's over
everyone in his department gets hand-knits for the holidays
his flat is also full of hand-knit blankets, tea and mug cozies, pillow covers, you name it
of course, because i can't have knitter hob without making it full dreamling, he's got to knit dream a jumper of his very own (hob has hubris enough to disregard the boyfriend curse, after all). but because dream's already stealing his pullovers, hob decides it should be some sort of billowy open-front long cardigan out of fancy fingering-weight black yarn, with sequin constellations. and also a beanie. the possibilities are *cough* endless
YEAH KNITTER HOB

First day back to work after a month long summer holiday.
I am surprisingly okay, no dire situations were expecting me so I got to just pick my way back in.
And even though my usual morning bus stopped running and I have to now get up at like 5:30 to leave the house at 6:20ish I'm surprisingly okay, even though I didn't manage to sleep particularly well, either.
Lots of webinar recordings to watch though :/ I'll manage to do them tomorrow and thursday, I think, when I work from home.

Favorite color: purple
Currently watching: Currently at work watching a webinar about our new database software but in general I'm working my way through nu Doctor Who (season 9 rn)
Sweet/Savory/Spicy: Savoury. I like sweet if it's mild but things that are too sweet or spicy hurt my mouth. Savoury is so satisfying and comforting.
Currently playing: Single player Digimon Survive, multi-player Leage of Legends
Current obsession: I'm in-between obsessions ATM. Lesbian dragon fantasy literature is currently taking up all my tabs because I'm search for good books in said genre so I guess that.
Last thing googled: benevia insecticide label :') sorry but I'm at work on a crop farm. My last non-work related google was Jetstar cheap flights cause I'm thinking of going on a holiday.

In preparation for the Writing the Raven Cycle: Two Day Weekend Webinar with Maggie Stiefvater (you can register for the seminar here: https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_EBcSDkxORpmIZcJ0Aw2EVA#/registration) we are going to start a buddy reread of the series on December 22.
Anyone who is interested, whether they’re rereading the series or starting it for the first time, is welcome to join us! Registration for the seminar is not a requirement (but I think it’s going to be a lot of fun and really educational/inspirational) it’s just an excuse for two friends to revisit a beloved series.
We’re going to try to tackle one book a week but it’s the holiday season so we’re going to be kind to ourselves if we can’t keep to the schedule.

Today's Focus
Tumblr media Tumblr media
12.19.23 - It is my last day at the office before the holiday, so I'm an elf! My supervisor loves it lol. You can thank my dad for convincing me to buy it from the thrift store we hung out in waiting for my sister to pick us up from the lab.
Work - I ended up spending a bunch of my day yesterday working on a ToC and a ToA for a motion SJC needed to submit, and I got three physical case files done along with a few efiles. I have one efile left to save (the motions SJC had me working on) and one new case file for JMK to both put into NYM and create a physical file for. Plus I have two (2) hrs of ethics training to attend virtually at 1p.
Background Noise - Well okay I start with 117 on the Watch Later, but that's because I added a lot of short lists when I figured out a presenter I like has been working for another channel. The problem is I'm probably not going to be able to watch anything during the ethics webinar.
I think I watched something like 9 videos yesterday? I'm hoping to do better today.
Study - Well I finished re-organizing news articles just in time for article day so I know what my plans are at least.
FBI report on the murder of Emmett Till - persons of interest
Articles on the cost of living in Australia
Articles related to Moms for Liberty
Pages of the Glass Report
Saved 'good news' articles
Old articles - specifically articles saved from before 2000
News articles from the 2000s
Three of the saved essays/articles in my folders
I'm trying to do as many of the things mentioned here as possible and just...see how far I get.
Yesterday I did do more than just organizing; I read three of the reported persons of interest in the Emmett Till FBI report, and a couple of articles related to the cost of living in Australia. Not much but better than nothing at all!
Extras - All the chores are done; the dinner is an easy beef stir fry. Heck, the frozen veggies I bought for it even came with a sauce! This should allow me to write some more, which I really need to do because I've been feeling savage recently which probably means my brain is looking for dopamine by fighting on the internet. To cope with that, I'm going to focus on drafting & posting more ranting essays.

I hope you've had a good start to the week! 🤍✨️
I was faced with yet another step which I have no control over when it comes to me actually getting a job, so I'm just trying to process all of that in while I register myself for every webinar I can find that I'm remotely interested, crochet blankets and table runners, and write fanfiction (given everyhting, I'm genuinely fine, the whole "you shouldn't worry about something you can't control" is pretty engraved in my brain atp).
So far, the upcoming requests I have are (and these are in no particular order)
- driver!reader × George Russell where the hate feelings have been there since they were kids, but the love feelings weren't too far behind, but competition got the best of them and only when Y/N and George collide they manage to talk it out (even if it begins with what looks like a yelling match first)
- Parents of three, Mick and Y/N take some time for themselves and enjoy a holiday kid-free
- Lance and Y/N continue their journey into parenthood
If you have any ideas you'd like me to write, send them in!
While there are no new pieces here, I invite you to check out my masterlist (I've seen a lot of new people around here (hiiii! 🤍)) if you haven't already or if you want to re-read some pieces!

Ugh. Still feeling rough as hell.
Now the cough is accompanied by uncontrollable sneezing. And a headache. But my sore throat as vanished, as has the earache. It's like the pain is on holiday, visiting all the best parts of my body, one at a time.
I'm so grateful that I could work from home today. All I managed to do was a ton of admin that I'd left hanging in the air. But bonus: finished my expenses for the month and finally paid myself back.
Tomorrow, I sadly need to go to the office, but only for the morning. I'm planning on coming home just as soon as my 1pm webinar is done and falling into bed. Thursday is looking quiet so far, too. So I think I can make it to the end of my working week...
The main priority is being well in time for the weekend, after all!

Tech Sector: Leveraging WhatsApp Marketing for Seasonal Promotions
WhatsApp marketing has emerged as a powerful tool for businesses, especially in the tech sector. This platform, with its vast user base and high engagement rates, whatsapp marketing agency provides an opportunity for companies to connect with their customers in a more personal and immediate way. WhatsApp marketing involves leveraging the app's messaging capabilities to reach out to customers with promotions, updates, and personalized content.
As peak seasons approach—be it festive sales, back-to-school promotions, or product launches—tech companies must adapt their marketing strategies to capitalize on the increased customer engagement. One of the most effective ways to do this is through dynamic messaging, which allows businesses to customize promotional offers based on customer behavior, preferences, and interactions.
Understanding Dynamic Messaging
Dynamic messaging refers to the ability to send tailored content to customers based on specific data points, such as past purchases, browsing history, or engagement with previous campaigns. For tech companies, this means creating promotional messages that resonate with individual customer needs and interests, ultimately driving higher engagement and conversions.
Implementing Dynamic Messaging Strategies
Customer Segmentation
The first step in implementing dynamic messaging is to segment your customer base. By analyzing customer data, tech companies can group customers based on their preferences, buying habits, and engagement levels. This segmentation allows for more targeted messaging, ensuring that promotional offers are relevant to each group.
Behavioral Triggers
Utilizing behavioral triggers can enhance the effectiveness of WhatsApp marketing campaigns. For instance, if a customer has recently browsed a particular product category but hasn’t made a purchase, sending a timely message with a special offer or a reminder can motivate them to complete the transaction. By automating these triggers, companies can ensure that the right messages reach customers at the right time.
Personalized Promotions
Personalization is at the heart of dynamic messaging. Tech companies can leverage customer data to craft messages that reflect individual preferences. For example, if a customer frequently purchases gaming accessories, a tech company can send tailored promotions for the latest gaming gear or exclusive discounts during the holiday season. This approach not only enhances the customer experience but also fosters loyalty.
Interactive Content
To further engage customers, tech companies can incorporate interactive content into their WhatsApp messages. This could include polls, quizzes, or links to exclusive content such as how-to guides or webinars. Interactive elements encourage participation and create a sense of community, making customers feel more connected to the brand.
Timely Follow-ups
Seasonal promotions require timely follow-ups to keep customers informed and engaged. After sending initial promotional messages, tech companies can utilize WhatsApp to provide reminders, highlight limited-time offers, or share success stories from other customers. These follow-ups help maintain momentum and drive urgency, encouraging customers to take action.
Measuring Success
As with any marketing strategy, measuring the effectiveness of dynamic messaging on WhatsApp is crucial. Companies can track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates. By analyzing this data, tech companies can gain insights into what messaging strategies work best and refine their approaches for future campaigns.
Conclusion
In a competitive tech landscape, dynamic messaging on WhatsApp offers an innovative way for companies to enhance their seasonal promotions.
