7 + 1 twenty one pilots ask
i was tagged by @dasloddl!! ty!!
1. when/how did you discover them? + what was the first song you listened to?
- either on the radio or on yt or at work or something like that, sometime in 2015. idk which song exactly but lets be honest, it was prolly stressed out š
or one of the other blurryface singles
2. have you been to any concert(s)?
- no š i totally would've seen them on the icy tour but they didn't come to my city š but i'm hoping to go to at least one show on the next tour (either vancouver or, failing that, seattle), and hopefully also the DC show with my bestie!!
3. do you remember where you were when trench dropped (if you were a fan by then)?
- weirdly, yes! it was like 9pm on october 4th, i was at home and got a spotify notification that twenty one pilots had released a new album. i listened to the first three songs, went "ehh", and stopped there š
which, in hindsight, is so tragic bc if i'd held out for just one more song i would've gotten to my blood, which is one of my absolute favourites!
4. favourite thing about the clique?
- how smart and kind and inclusive everyone is!! like i know the clique's got it's share of toxic fans, just like any other fandom/community in general, but esp here on tumblr absolutely everyone i've met/interacted with has been sososo friendly and funny and smart and cool <3
5. any memorable/funny/interesting quote (from interviews/bts footage/ā¦) you especially like?
- i'm so bad at thinking up stuff like this off the cuff sldjskdljf there's always smth i think of later that i wish i'd said instead. for right now i'm gonna go with "two happy boys" (or any of the "two ____ boys" riffs that they do), as well as every single story abt how they met š
6. what would you want to ask/tell them if you got the chance?
- FREAKING. SO MUCH. i'd want to thank them for rewarding us for looking deeper and caring more and sticking around. i'd want to tell them how what they've done w the dema/trench storyline is legitimately incredible and groundbreaking and to, in their own words, "never put a ceiling on their dreams". i'd also want to talk to them for roughly 6 hours abt death cab for cutie bc i Need To Know their thoughts abt literally everything sdlfkjsdkfl
7. which tattoo would you like to know the meaning of (if you do)?
- i'm honestly fine w not knowing the meaning to any of their tattoos, bc i know they're v personal, but if i could know the meaning of one and have it be totally okay and willingly shared, it would be, for tyler, the symbols tattoo on the side of his forearm, and for josh, the astronaut-getting-beamed-up tattoo on his bicep.
+1. dasloddl's question for me: which album cover do you like best?
- excellent question!! even tho i do love SAI's aesthetic, i think i'd have to go with blurryface on this one. there's just so much meaning behind it!! the pull-out blurry face is genius, the patterns are so fun, it's simple yet evocative. just, stellar art design.
additional question you want to ask the people you tagged:
what do you think the genre/vibe of the next album is going to be?
aaaaand i am tagging @mx-misty-eyed @melxncholyman @timedyne @gonerbird and @re4lize-th4t-its-g0ne!!

top 5 videogame osts?
Picking just 5 is impossible so Iām going to go off and list as many as I want
Under the cut for obvious long reasons
Chrono trigger (SNES) - listened to this obsessively when I had the DS port (which is still imo the definitive way to play, just ignore the repetitive bonus postgame quests), yasunori mitsuda is a legend (heās also one of the composers for dungeon meshi!). I cut my teeth learning to read sheet music in bass clef once I switched to bass guitar playing the soundtrack, I have essentially the entire thing transcribed on my ultimate-guitar (username XxThreeCheersxX, keep forgetting to hype my account up here but Iām a top 100 ranked tabber š
) personal faves are those without the will to live (beautiful tritone bass slide makes me moan), the trial, and frogās theme.
Castlevania: Harmony of Despair (PS/XBOX) - I have never played but know itās a mediocre multiplayer game, however the soundtrack is fantastic, great rock and metal remixes of some of the most iconic tunes throughout the franchise. The series over all has some killer songs and composers who love funny time signatures so this is easily a ābest of.ā Castlevania Judgment, arguably an even worse game, also has a good soundtrack.
Undertale/Deltarune (many) - required to be on this list. Toby fox is phenomenal, so many great and memorable tracks. There is a reason megalovania is everywhere. Not a single bad song to be found, but personally my faves are fight against a killer queen, waterfall, world revolving, and undertale. Undertale especially is so impactful because they use an actual guitar on it and it just hits and makes it much more poignant. Fox is maybe the king of leitmotifs.
Dead Cells (many) - after putting so many hours into the game I only appreciate the soundtrack more and more, plus the option to have 8-bit themes is a treat. I love love the Bank theme and Fractured Shrines especially. Very tense and epic sounding. But the Castlevania dlc is phenomenal in so many ways and the music is no exception, always blows me away theyāre doing what Konami wishes they could do in every aspect.
Donkey Kong Country 1 + 2 (SNES) - donāt get me wrong Eveline Fischerās DKC3 snes soundtrack is pretty damn good but imo it doesnāt hit the peaks of David Wiseās ost. It kills me that the silly monkey platformer has some of the most beautiful and atmospheric music of all time. Iāve watched so many music videos on how he made the music and why it sounds so goodā¦ from the ambient and emotional aquatic ambience and bramble blast, to the epic final boss themes, that dark reprise of dk island swing in minecart madness, the jittery and unnerving tree top town, the foreboding welcome to krokodile island, the sweet and dreamy dkc2 ice themeā¦ it has it all. Okay what the hell, Iāll mention wiseās remix of water world/aquatic ambience/(a special surprise) in the gba port of dkc3 (he had to redo the soundtrack for that port from scratch). And yes Iāll even throw in fischerās best songs from snes dkc3 - her version of treetop tumble is way better and more somber than wiseās, water world is like youāre actually at the bottom of a lake and very moody, and nuts and bolts is a dirty rock song with a groovy bass. Good stuff!!!!
Grant Kirkhopeās stuff (many) - another favorite composer of mine, most famous for doing many rare n64 games like banjo 1 + 2, dk64, goldeneye, plus Mario rabbids 1 + 2 on switch and indie game yooka laylee. Iāve also watched many videos and studied many of his songs, he loves to use tritones and out of place dissonant notes not to make something creepy (well, sometimes creepy) but to make things whimsical and man it really works. Dk64 is my personal fav and seeing him reprise some of the themes for Mario rabbids dk dlc was truly special. I really want to do a write-up about the dk64 soundtrack on my site one day! Thereās a lot of Easter eggs Iāve spotted that I havenāt seen many people mention! Highlights are creepy castle (it has the dk arcade start motif hidden!), frantic factory, and gloomy galleon from dk64, and from banjo 1 and 2, I love jinjo village, gruntildaās lair, and banjoās house blues.
Final fantasy x - most final fantasy games have good to great soundtracks but x is special to me. Itās my favorite ff game and the music really makes it all the more poignant. Zanarkandās opening note is enough to make me tear up. The battle theme never grows stale unlike some other ff battle themes, besaid is calming and has the perfect vibes, the trials theme should be repetitive but instead feels very disconcerting and even claustrophobic, and auronās theme is cool as hell. X-2 also has a good soundtrack, but I donāt think itās quite as good as here.
Celeste (many) - Lena Raineās soundtrack is phenomenal and the use of motifs is impeccable. Not a bad song in the entire game. Resurrections is my favorite as itās a long piece that goes a lot of places and makes you drift along for the ride. The way Madeline and badelineās motifs diverge is brilliant, matching whatās happening onscreen. I love how hesitant the piano in awake sounds, it makes it so heartfelt. Anxiety is dense and lives up to the title, Little Goth is less hesitant but darkerā¦ she just writes such beautiful melodies.
Metroid Prime (gcn) - they originally wanted Autechre, an ambient electronic duo, to do the soundtrack but things fell through for whatever reason so Kenji Yamamoto (who did Super Metroid) stepped up to take his place and god what a good soundtrack. Metroid music is very cool and Iāve made posts about it before, like how Metroid II has one of the most experimental soundtracks and kind of challenges the limits of the system and what can be considered game music, super Metroid has some of the most alien sounding songs thanks to weird time signatures and instrumentation. But Prime is crazy because they had the tech now to deliver Yamamotoās vision. Magmoor Caverns is everyoneās favorite, remixing norfair, those drums just make me go wild every time. All the area themes are great and alien sounding, itās a very isolating soundtrack, plus the boss themes and the space pirates and chozo ghosts themes are kind of terrifying in a good way.
Sea of Stars/Messenger (many) - 2 of my fav indie games with some of the most addictive songs. Sea of stars is a prequel so seeing variants of the messengerās tracks was a true delight. Yasunori mitsuda also assisted with the soundtrack making some unforgettable pieces. I want to learn the majority of it on bass by ear!
Hollow knight (many) - somber piano and grand orchestrated pieces make this game go hard. The mantis lord battle is probably my favorite, itās so majestic and fearsome and makes them a scary boss. I also appreciate the more ambient tracks around greenpath and city of tears. But the boss themes turn things up when needed to and makes a world feel even more alive, which is impressive.
Silent hill 2 (ps2) - Akira Yamaoka has such a great style to create heavy, melancholic or terrifying songs for the franchise but this game stands out the most to me, Lauraās theme and promise always move me no matter how many times I listen to them, very hurting electric guitars. I need to watch more vids on the games ost.
Legend of Zelda (Nintendo) - for this last one Iām not picking a specific game and getting into details for them all would be hard Iām already losing steam fast. So Iāll list my favs across the franchise. Ocarina of Timeās Gerudo Valley, Hyrule Field, and Lost Woods; Majoraās Maskās Termina Field, Clock Town, and Stone Tower Temple; linkās Awakeningās Face Shrine; wind Wakerās dragon roost island, outset island and Gohdanās theme; and tears of the kingdomās colgeraās theme.

Thanks @pretty-thief for tagging me!
1. Were you named after anyone?
Not my first name, but my middle name (Rose) is the first name of my mom's aunt. I think it was more that my parents liked it as a middle name vs. choosing to name me after her, though.
2. When was the last time you cried?
Yesterday, lol -- I went to the movies for my bday (for the first time since Feb 2020 actually) and saw Past Lives, which completely destroyed me š
3. Do you have kids?
No, and am like 90% sure I don't want them. I think it depends on if I ever meet the ~right person~ but I'm getting older and that's not really feeling like a possibility. But I've also never been good with kids and definitely never had dreams of being a mom, so yeah.
4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?
Too damn much.
5. What sports do you play/have you played?
Just soccer, through middle school. I guess I also did dance for a while as a kid, and took tennis lessons with friends for a summer or two (but I always sucked at it.) I was really good about running regularly last year up until Feb of this year, and then totally fell off that wagon. But I got some new running shoes for my bday so it's time to try again š
6. What's the first thing you notice about someone?
I honestly don't know, I've never thought about it. It feels stupid to say "their face" but that's probably the real answer.
7. Eye color?
Hazel (my eyes are in fact my favorite thing about my appearance)
8. Scary movies or happy endings?
Happy endings, I've never been able to do scary movies. I'll watch some under the right circumstances, but I'd never choose one over a happy ending.
9. Any special talents?
I used to be able to name every country in the world bc I had an incredibly boring job where I mostly just sat around all day, so I started trying to memorize them via that Sporcle quiz where you get 15 mins to name them all š
10. Where were you born?
New Jersey, and I'm somehow still here. I think there must be some sort of ancient magic keeping my family in this state, because dad's side came here in the 1600s and apparently we just never fucking left lol
11. What are your hobbies?
I feel like I used to have legit hobbies, but if I'm being honest covid really fucked with the way I interact with the world and I don't do nearly as much as I used to do. Like I used to love traveling and taking pictures, but I'm still not really comfortable traveling and I rarely take my DSLR out anymore. I play guitar? Never with enough dedication to get really good, but I like picking it up every now and then and teaching myself a song.
12. Do you have any pets?
Hell yeah I do, her name is Pearl, she is a fluffy white Persian rescue and she will be 6 in September and is my favorite thing in this entire world.
13. How tall are you?
4'11" (AND THREE QUARTERS OKAY) / 59 inches / ~150 cm
14. Favorite subject in school?
Anything artsy
15. Dream job?
Being independently wealthy? lolol but honestly, I don't really know anymore. I don't hate what I do, I just wish I had it in me to be more motivated to make a little more money at it. But then again that would probably require working myself to the bone, and I'm not interested in that either. I think I wouldn't mind running a little cafe someday, but the restaurant industry is too fickle to new businesses for me to ever want to actually take that risk.
Tagging: anyone who wants to answer!

here again, content for raian will never be enough for me š¹ from your general romantic, I can have "raian love lenguage" ty so much honey
I AM BAAAAAAACKKKKK
General Headcanon: Raian Kure Love Language :
What da fuck is love ???
He knows something similar but that involves breeding ONLY.
He isn't familiar with TLC and how it works or the purpose of it ..
love is is for the weakling and faggots.
NONE OF THE ABOVE IS APPLICABLE BTW ...
let me explain
Raian is touch starved and love starved
He will resist anything coming from you at first
Raian love language is a tough and a rough one
If you are in for the ride you better grow thick skin with this man.
Raian might and will not text you everyday and he will not speak or see you when you feel like it. Its either his terms or the high way ( at least at first)
Love for Raian is unknown waters and he isn't the a careful swimmer but a stubborn one and so he will either dive in or just walk along the shore. Its your choice
After few long months or years, after still being around and sticking to him and nothing of his rudness and blood lust cravings will phase you, that's when he will start to slightly open up.
Opening up doesn't mean he will tell you all his secrets. By the way Raian doesn't have secrets he just have untold stories that might not be for the average person to handle.
Raian love language is first and foremost TRUST and LOYALTY. He won't put you in any tests That man has no time for that nonsense, he can understand and read ppl and their motives in seconds so he will either keep you on his Radar till you smear or throw you at the back seat till you toughen up, he likes your essence and he wants you to adjust on your own and he will just sit lay back and watch you till he is satisfied with your progress. He will tease you and that's is his encouragement language šš.
His Trust and closeness won't be easy to earn nor will it ever be 100% . That's just facts and you must accept it.
He will remember every single thing you say, you wish you had or want to eat , your favourite color, song, author, favourite lipstick shade or makeup brands even your favourite jelly bean flavour. And he will surprise you everytime out of the blue, like for example you are cooking dinner and he throws at the counter a D & G latest lipstick edition he brought online. NO FUCMIN WAY THIS MAN WILL ENTER A COSMETIC SHOP TO BUY U A LIP STICK. never will this ever happen.
He memorize everything about you, like an assassin or a snipper that memorize the victim's whereabouts, timings and whatnot. That's just his assassin mind in play.
Raian will absolutely hate it when ppl see you together. At first he used to refuse going out in public with you. He is Raian and for him to be with someone is just not logical to him YET .
But he then realised there is nothing logical about love..
Love for Raian will be protecting you. He might not be there for you everytime but his love isn't the typical type.
He will let you be but he is Obsessive over you.
When he is not on a mission, expect both of you to have many movie nights inside the house and a lot of making out sessions and sex and lots of cooking.
One thing about Raian, he loves to hug u from behind while u cook, that naughty feral caused you to burn meals and pots due to his unstoppable libido and while he is with you his appetite for food is 10x and for you 100x. He's just wants to eat food, eat you and watch movies, sleep, workout and repeat.
You are his comfort zone and for him being at ease is very appreciated but he isn't the one that speaks nice words he isn't the type to translate his feelings with words any way. So look out for a sudden unexplained look or a smile appears out of no where or a very gentle touch or a soft rough (HUMM) for a yes when u want something and he would LOVE to do it for you.
He will pamper you but in his own way, like you had a long day at work he will order your favourite food and throw it at the kitchen counter for you ššš
. Or you want to meet a friend at a cafe and he's in town so instead of taking a taxi he drops you and scan the place before you step out the car. šš YEP told you he's not the average lover boy.
At first he was confused but not mad and he was in a struggle to allow as softer version of him to show.
That softer version is to basically call you a bitch with a cute smile or frown when you ask him something and he says No that means yes but he just wanted to bug you. That's his love language. Direct insult between you too that is, outside he is more respectful or for most part he don't give the shitZzzz.
When he is on a mission however, you MUST tell him where u are going and with who. He trusts you but he just want to make sure you are safe where you are.
Raian will be soft from time to time, catch him before he drifts away and you will hear the sweetest ( YEAH BABE ) coming out of this man
Raian, will hurts you and he will make it up for you , his love language is Love, Pain and pleasure they go together.
First time ever you touched his arms ever so gently and looked into his eyes his brain short circuit and was confused with the tenderness u showed. He thought u were babying him but his heart tickled and he felt weird but good weired.
Raian will have his own way in loving you and you must understand his ways to tolerate it otherwise Fam don't hurt yourself.
At later stage of ur relationship Raian will take you out to fancy restaurants and holidays and he will display a little PDA . He will look at you when you speak to someone, and that makes u blush .
As you both get more familiar with each other he will start sharing with you just a little about his missions.
At later stage it will be love making and not just sex but that depends on his mood and how fare are you prepared.
He will understand your moods and ur needs more and will attend to you but not everytime.
Love for Raian is not always give nor always take surprisingly its balanced
One thing though that won't change about him : Love is not his priority. Yes he loves you but as an Assassin he had caused death to many and probably faced death more than once in his life so for him what expires isn't worth fighting for.
Sorry but sometimes the truth hurts. He will fight for you but only conveniently and not blindly.
HOW WAS IT ššš

If any of you are meeting Dan- hereās my two cents from when I did
- I wish I had taken more time to plan out topics to discussā¦ and then found the best one and prioritized that cause that shit goes fast.
-The stuff I brought up in retrospect wasnāt memorable (I couldāve brought up how I came out that year inspired by them etc) but I didnāt. As awkward as it is to say that deep stuff so fast it makes the interaction more memorable.
- I wish I wouldāve put more creativity into the photo! I still did a āgoofyā one but I shouldāve brought a prop/made it a theme! No worries about getting a nice one too bc Dan suggested a nice one without me even bringing it up.
- Glad I experimented with glitter eyeshadow bc Dan complimented it! Though I hate my 2016ish overfilled brows in the photo so I wish I hadnāt experimented with that š
- I screen recorded (with audio recording) the interaction as well so I have all of the audio and few second videos from the selfie (great for gifs).
- Iām so thankful I wrote down literally every detail I could remember afterward. Otherwise probably wouldāve forgotten.
-I wrote down the song that was playing when we met too! Now I always have that comfort song.
Congrats to all who got tickets! Hope you have the best interactions š

Out of boredom and suffering from the heat Iām gonna rank my favorite to least favorite Call of Duty game!Ā
Now before I get into it, these are clearly my opinions, my favorite might be someones least favorite and vice versa. But I would like to hear yaāllās fave and least fave ones. Also BOCW, World At War, the first 3 games and the mobile one will not be on this list. I havenāt played the campaigns yet (but I know WAW is a solid game) and I donāt play mobile, tried it and didnāt like it.Ā
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 - This game was just perfect in every aspect. The story-line, the characterās, the multiplayer and spec ops were solid. I spent years playing that multiplayer, crafting my skills as a sniper and it was just fun. Not to mention the glorious soundtrack.Ā
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) - I was pleasantly surprised on how much I love this game. I was so nervous that IW would fuck up somehow, but Iām happy that I was wrong. The story was great, the characterās were great, and I havenāt had this much fun on a multiplayer since the MW2 days.Ā
Call of Duty: Ghosts - A highly underrated CoD game. Yeah the multiplayer wasnāt that fun, but the story was so good. I love the characterās and this game helped me through a dark time in my life, so itāll always hold a place in my heart.Ā
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - This was one of the games I wish I played it in itās prime. I played it a few years later. It still is and forever will be a solid game, itās what started the MW series and look how many people still love the games to this day.Ā
Call of Duty: WWII - This game I played late and wished I didnāt. The story was so good and it was so cool to see familiar faces like Josh Duhamel, Jeffrey Pierce, Jonathon Tucker all playing complex characters. The multiplayer even looked good, but unfortunately I played the game to late to even try it.Ā
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - The first cod game I ever played (yeah I played them out of order). I do still enjoy it to this day, but it doesnāt live up to MW and MW2 in my opinion. The story was good and IW did clean things up pretty good. The multiplayer was just kind of a let down for me, everything was gray. And sometimes it made seeing people harder because theyāre wearing gray as well. If they lightened it up a bit than it wouldāve been different.Ā
Call of Duty: Black Ops - Ah, good ole BO. This game was also top notch and it wouldāve been higher up in this list if it wasnāt for WW2. Thereās so many memorable moments in this game and I really wish they would remaster it along with the second. The multiplayer was also really good and fun.Ā
Call of Duty: Black Ops II - I adore BO2. I loved how certain things you did created certain outcomes and it was fun to choose. I also liked playing as David and I wasnāt upset that it took place in the future. Also Avenged Sevenfold did a song for zombies which I loved because theyāre my fave band.Ā
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare - The only futuristic cod game I really liked. It was a nice balance between modern and futuristic stuff, it never seemed to overwhelming. However I didnāt like the multiplayer, at all. Futuristic multiplayer just arenāt my thing.Ā
Call of Duty: Black Ops III - Not a big fan of this one and I actually never finished the campaign. It didnāt feel like a Black Ops game to me and the multiplayer wasnāt bad, I just didnāt really care for it. But we did get that wonderful lineĀ ātrain go boomā š
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare - This one was kind of fun to play, but the story didnāt stick with me. The best part of that game was E3N and the fact the Kit Harington played the antagonist. Other than that I donāt remember much of the game.Ā
Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII - I will say the graphics were pretty, but the game just wasnāt my cup of tea. Not to mention I play CoD for the story, the multiplayer is just a bonus and this game didnāt have a campaign. Not to mention $60 for a multiplayer only game is pretty expensive.Ā
