the thing is. juno & nureyev's relationship has been such a major guiding thread throughout the podcast and the major drive of season 5, and the fandom has built itself so much (as fandoms often do) around shipping the two of them.

and yet nureyev doesn't show up at all in the last episode! or, he does, but it's only implied (for all we know it could be like. alessandra strong)(i know it's not but it would be really funny) and we don't hear his voice.

and it's so important to me that despite the room that their romance has taken in the plot and in our hearts, his absence reinforces that the point of juno steel's story wasn't a lady getting his man, it was about learning to grow as person for himself and for his friends (and not just his love interest), and it was about finding his footing in life and being at peace with himself and his place in the world. and he did! his growth and relative serenity is so apparent and just. a balm to the soul

and the fact that his man is back is just a nice add-on, not a necessity for his happiness

I'm gonna say something that 90% of you will hate but it's what's on my heart—now that we've seen Pedro and Vanessa speak in every interview about how this couple is so passionately in love and dedicated to each other and have been married for decades—I wish we could let this be the ONE Pedro character whose fanfic isn't completely overwhelmed by x reader fic instead of even consiiiidering respecting and exploring his canon relationship 😔

I like selling prints because I get to use my nice printer (which I love to do) and I especially love selling custom panel prints, because then I get to see people's favorite panels from my comic, which is double nice...

The most fun items to pack are the merch bundles which are themed with my books, I LOVE coming up with packaging design like this so much...

But my favorite design has gotta be one of these... Probably the patch, there.

It's really hard for me to pick!

I actually genuinely just am really passionate about product design and merch themeing, it's not only extremely fun for me but it also just really engages my brain. I love coming up with items that fit a theme, and there's no theme I love more than my own comics haha

So there's not much I could enjoy more! That's why I chose to do a merch club on patreon, it lets me get out my merch-y feelings but without overloading my storefront... Plus it's just really fun for me! I get to experiment, make little packages, and enjoy making new things.

Taking apart my Canadian Wolf Furby and he has foam glued to his plastic shell??? I knew some could have that if they were an earlier run but this is my first time seeing it in person and it's so Weird

Also if I read his green sticker right he has a manufacturing date of January 1st 1999. He's 25 years old and I thiiiink my fourth oldest Furby!

definitely not the best ending, that's for sure. i'm beyond happy alec and fiore became friends again and didn't part ways, so i forgot just how shit the winner is. it's definitely the least satisfying ending we could've gotten.

I actually don’t think I’ve answered this before but my top 3 drivers to draw are Logan (rip 💀), Carlos and Fernando!!!! I’ve talked about how I go back and forth on liking Carlos on here before but I LOVE drawing him like you can pry my Carlos sainz reference folder from my cold dead hands. Logan is honestly super fun to draw bc of his color harmony with the Williams colors 😭 and Fernando is just my no 1 at all times

possibly part of the reason i haven't listened to the slayers audio drama yet is simply because hearing giles again after years of no giles would eviscerate me and also i already have just so much extra-canonical content to wade through? am coming to terms w the fact that i still have not read every buffy tie-in novel, have not read the follow-up comics, and that therefore there are parts of this world unknown to me, and i would like there to sort of always be that happening. truly can't imagine what it would feel like without that last extra scrap of btvs to experience.
