oh how thou enable mine soul. i apologize in advance because i am scatter brained and bad at formulating my thoughts (doesn't help that this topic is so weird) but here we go.

OKAY. so. i'm gonna start with foundations that i'll reference throughout this. starting with seht, specifically, seht's eso dialogue. i will link the uesp page HERE (ref point 1) to keep from having to copy-paste big swaths of text. i'll also link ayem (ref point 2) and vehk's (ref point 3), PLUS ayem (ref point 4) and vehk's (ref point 5) morrowind pages. if anyone wants me to snip the exact dialogue i'm referencing, please just lemme know.

SO. some main principles i want to draw from all of those are:

seht is upset about but accepts his place as a npc. he knows he is a npc, he knows he cannot change this, he just seeks to try to affect what he can. (ref point 1)

vehk knows he is a NPC and wants to be the Prisoner, aka the player character, because the Prisoner can be anyone, whereas he can only be vehk. (ref point 1)

almalexia seems to share the same knowledge as the other two, but denies it in favor of attempting to create her own narrative. (ref point 1, 4, and 5)

next, we'll talk about our beloved lorkahn, freak extraordinaire, god of mortals, spirit of nirn. his uesp page will be ref point 6.

obviously, lorkhan's heart is tied to nerevar's fate. it's tied to SO many fates--the tribunal, the nerevarine, dagoth ur, nerevar, the dwemer, etc which is rather fitting for the god of mortals i think. (i also won't go into my ramble about nerevar's parallels with lorkhan because that's a whole other ordeal)

vehk claims that nerevar and dumac fought and fell from the wounds inflicted upon each other. simultaneously, vehk straight up admits to killing nerevar (ref point 5), then just as easily says no, they didn't, actually (ref point 5) and says that that's just a lie spread by alandro sul. vehk is an infamously unreliable source. he lies as easy as he breathes, if not easier.

the battle of red mountain is an entire fucking thing. i really cannot even try to explain what happened during it because of the conflicting sources (see: the previous paragraph where vehk vehks ominously) but we DO at the very least know that the heart was struck, the dwemer disappeared, and nerevar died. whether or not he died DURING the battle or AFTER isn't entirely clear; again, conflicting sources.

aaaaaaaand then, there's dagoth ur. he loves nerevar, he hates nerevar. nerevar betrayed him, he betrayed nerevar. again. conflicting fucking sources. yet another "entire fucking thing" that i can't really go into detail on because i would derail myself so fast.

whatever happened at the battle of red mountain, at least two things are certain: nerevar died and the dwemer disappeared. we genuinely do not know what happened. is it likely the tribunal killed nerevar? yes, it's incredibly likely. but we do not have a 110% concrete answer of "yes, the tribunal absolutely killed nerevar" because even the tribunal don't seem to genuinely know. i think it's part of what is driving them out of their minds. even they don't know. because, like seht mentions/implies, they are bound to the will of the writers and the writers have not given any concrete answers.

i am personally a fan of the idea that it was a dragon break kind of situation, where all realities are simultaneously true and false, because it just feels the most...right, to me.

i had to significantly trim this because oh my god i rambled so much but. tldr we don't know and probably never will. also please nobody yell at me it's 4 am here and i'm just doing this

Some fresh art because I saw this trend and just couldn't resist.

So I've drawn Irna on her first days in Dwemereth and many years later. From the assassin and priestess who lost her place to well-respected mender and loved woman.

She had to flee Morag Tong order despite being one of its most loyal and devoted assassins. Knowing that MT might hunt down her then friend, Arkndchal-Savak, she went to Nchuleftingth where he was at that time and warned him of the danger; eventually they left Vvardenfell together and moved to the Silent City where Arkndchal-Savak was born and lived most of the time.

Arkndchal-Savak asked the king for protection on her behalf; Dumac agreed, because Irna is Nerevar's sister (and she offered her knowledge as well) — but not before they could test her. Apart from being basically not being able to leave the city for a whole year, she had to spend her first month in Light Negation, the artifact which not only didn't let her see anything, but also suppressed her ability to sense magic beyond a small radius. This artifact isn't meant to humiliate anyone though, it's just used to not let noble and valuable visitors see what shouldn't be seen. And still... For Irna it was quite difficult.

And there is she again, but years later and not alone. Despite almost dying after the Morag Tong attack on her and lots of other hardships (pretty traumatising sometimes, to be fair), she became a respected medic and is happily married to Arkndchal-Savak, and they (who would think? and yet here we are thanks to Nerevar) mutually love each other, always protecting and deeply caring for each other. Fun fact: this is the first (and only) time they both fell in love. Neither Irna nor Arkndchal-Savak previously had any experience with love relationship like this.

And yeah, drawing so many details in such complicated angle kills me, but I caught a hyperfixation on this idea. Sooooo now I can cherish one of my best OTPs :D

nerevar wouldn’t be mad that he didn’t get to Sil first, he wouldn’t pity him, or be mad that he died, if anything he’d be extremely disturbed by the circumstances, by the state of the place- Nerevar is a silly frat boy and a dangerous warrior but like.. he knows when it’s time to be serious. he would take Seht’s death very seriously, and would consider it a symptom of the Tribunal’s growing failure. remember, above all things, Nerevar is a Politician,

i made. so much fucking art. holy shit. i also didn't notice my art style only changed recently???? what the fuck do you mean it started in NOVEMBER? i didnt realize bc i drew so many fucking pictures for nov. ridiculous amounts. it was hard to pick just one but i REALLY like vivi's picture so.

also for april i debated making it my god nerevar picture. but i couldnt pass up using the first ever picture of nerevar i ever drew. i was just like "tee hee lemme make my own little design for him for fun <3" and then i finished it and i was like. "oh my god. oh my goddddd im never going to be normal about this man ever again am i." it changed my brain chemistry permanently. i am a different person now.

i did!! lots of new things this year. played around with lighting. learned new techniques. changed a grew a lot. got married. man. it feels like the beginning of this year was like. yesterday and also five years ago at the same time.

also gberhgberhg nerevar being 5/12 months..... i tried not to make him like. every month since i started drawing him. key word being tried.

I'm not sure if I should submit this, but I was inspired by the tes pinup challenge. I tried to draw Martin in a dress for the sunkissed concept. It didn't go well. So I decided to draw him buried in the sand from the neck down, next to a mini sand made version of the imperial city. Theufel is really skilled at building stuff with sand. She also gave him a little flag because he is best boy.

(In my Canon, Arvius and Nerevar share the body, so when Nerevar takes control, normally to protect Arvius, his eyes become yellow/golden...I still have to give Nerevar a desing, cuz for now i'm just going for what other artist draw Nerevar like)

But it was pretty dissapointing, since I couldn't talk a lot with Vivec...I feel like I spoke more with him in ESO

(I think I didn't explain it here, so, uh, I PLAY A LOT WITH THE TIMELINE- Because I play all the games at the same time, so, when I go to their games, sometimes I bring things with me...

With Arvius, I was playing Morrowind and Skyrim at the same time, and got the Sanguine Rose, and since I didn't want to leave the dremora alone BECAUSE I AM STUPID....I brought him with me!....to the third Era!....YEY-)

Then break time! Because I LOVE ARVIUS UAAAAA MY BABY BOY YOU DID IT 😭😭😭😭

So I want him to rest and be happy, cuz he deserves it...at least for now I STILL WANT TO PLAY-

This is my khajiit child from Skyrim. They not only are a werewolf, a skilled adventurer, and happily married to 2 men, but they also exude a strong head empty aura to them that manifests in a lot of excess energy. Maybe one day I'll draw chibis of their 2 husbands in the future, but I have a lot of different art pieces that I need to finish first and I also have exams this coming week. In addition I definitely didn't get back into Skyrim because of a certain friend of mine and their passion not only for Morrowind but also Nerevar, that is definitely not infectious.
