January favourites
Season 3
Do I make these to share the things I like or because it nicely frames moths on my blog? We might never know
Self care:
Working out -Before I got sick this month I was doing really well and now I miss it :(
Sleep -Sure it doesn’t fit into the vibe the working out suggests but I got sick around two weeks ago and all the sleep feels very nice
Blogs and channels:
@sapphorrific -Dělá z tumblru zajímavější místo
Markiplier -I may not be able to put [REDACTED] here anymore but I can still obsess over Mark, so I will
Danny Gonzalez -I’ve been binging his videos lately and yes I am a proud Greg
Linda Sun -And in between Danny’s videos are Linda’s pancakes- I mean videos
Tumblr media
Crushes of the month:
Keanu Reeves -I should just skip this cathegory althogether if I don’t stop mentioning the same three people
Gillian Anderson -*shrugs and gestures vaguely*
Blake Lively -The outfits in SIMPle favor??? EXCUSE ME MA’AM??
Series:
Adventure time -Contradictory to popular opinion, the older you get the more you need catroons
Tumblr media
...I have an odd theme with the gifs again. Now that I think about it, it might be what turning 20 does to you
Movies:
The Game -An amazing movie that’ll make you very paranoid
A Simple Favor -It’s a fun mvoie to watch when you want a bit of mystery but in a stress free package. It might be a lot less entertaining than I think it was because I’m biased cause I simped for Blake Lively the entire time. But she does make it worth watching for sure
Doctor Sleep -The mood of The Shining is missing but I feel like all new movies miss something. As a stand-alone story the movie is good but the connection to The Shining is poor. I can’t wait to read the book though!
Devil’s Advocate -Serious 10/10! Through the movie there are subtle signs of evil just to prepare you for the grand finale, where they really went all out
Tumblr media
Games:
Red Dead Redemption II -I’m not even talking about online now. Look yes I know I have a problem and no I won’t do anything about it okay so just ignore this let’s pretend it’s not a problem
What were your favourite things this past month? Also did you notice I posted this on time?! Wohooo!

My tips for learning a language pt (2/2)
Hey there! I’m sorry that this entry took too long to be released hehe, I wanted to do something special with it.
I’ve been working these 2 months in developing a new study method for language learners, as one of them (myself) I wanted to create a system that works in order to fulfill all necessities and struggles when studying a language. (revealing at the end of this post)
As I mentioned in my first entry about tips for learning a language pt 1, we have tips like keeping separated notebooks for each topic, making flashcards, getting involved the more you can with the language and having study buddies… All these mentions are awesome for getting started with a new language.
However, if you really want to improve your language skills you must be CONSISTENT, leading us to my key tip for learning a language.
Being consistent is the most important part as a student, at the beginning is easier to keep consistency as you’re excited to be learning something new, but in some point, when things get more difficult we tend to back up or lose motivation.
If you are one of those people, is perfectly fine to feel this way. For getting back on track again, or just need a little motivation to work harder, write at least 3 reasons why you started learning the language and what your goals are.
Instead of thinking about the problem, design ways to solve it in the best way possible. Having a goals chart is a nice way to look back and read about the things you were motivated since the beginning.
#2 if you are kind of tired and start feeling (monotony)… Sometimes I really don’t feel like reviewing and writing 100 vocabulary words and conjugating them, etc, etc. So, in order to not lose track of my study schedule, I started investigating the history of the country I am learning. It’s endlessly interesting reading and learning the beginning of everything.
Watching videos is very entertaining, such as documentaries or animations (my personal favorite).
If you speak Spanish, I recommend this channel! (click here) it’s history for kids but I love the animations and the info is really helpful.
#3 keep yourself organized…. too many study materials, you don’t know what lesson to review, where to start, etc etc. Organization is key!. Keeping track of the lessons you’re receiving and the goals you want to achieve with each lesson is an excellent way of studying, you can mix this method with the “separated notebooks for each topic” and have them all organized in order to do not waste time for reviews.
Remember to always have a study schedule, I did a post on how to plan your week and month! You can check it out here
#4 have fun!... Learning doesn’t have to be a tedious process. All the contrary! it’s really exciting the fact of learning something new every day and sharing with people that have the same interests as you.
Study groups are awesome and fun. If you are studying by yourself I recommend the apps tandem and hellotalk to find native speakers friends.
Also watching shows and movies with subtitles or original audio of the language you’re learning is an entertaining way of learning. If you do this method, I recommend watching it with a study mindset. It means that you’ll be paying more attention to the words and phrases they are saying, and writing some of them out so you can practice them later.
#5 Surround yourself with positive energies and inspiration. As I mentioned before, study groups are a really cool way to learn and connect with people who share same interests as you.
The more you surround with people who inspire you, you will study more efficiently and be better every day, this helps you grow as a student and human being.
Now! The special part I wanted to mention in this post and the project I been working these two months. I just released my Universal Language pack!! This pack is aimed at all language learners (in any level), no matter which language you are studying, you can use this pack to keep yourself organized, inspired and not lose track of your process.
It comes with goals charts, language process, lessons tracker, vocabulary, grammar, listening and speaking sheets and so much more!!
Check out all the details in my Etsy shop…. And just because I really appreciate all of you for supporting me, I’m having a discount code for a 10% in any item of my etsy shop wohooo.
Go check it out and start loving the beautiful path of learning a new language.
I really hope this post helps you or inspires you to keep learning and motivating to be better. Let me know if you’re already using some of these methods or have had any mentioned issue.
Wish you all a nice weekend and see you pretty soon.
