"Sir, your fedora looks amazing! Can I use it for a minute? I think, maybe people would think me intimidating, if I do."
Ardyn chuckled as the youth approached him. That in itself was a surprise - usually Ardyn was the one doing the initiating in conversations.
"I highly doubt you will find intimidating the right word, but who am I to decline?"
He grabbed at his hat, taking it off of his head in one sweeping, dramatic bow. He then playfully plopped it on the child's head, stepping back with his arms crossed to assess the new look.
"I take it back. I'm quaking in my boots."
