favorite thing about them: man, of everyone who's made an appearance on my favs list, he is absolutely the most mysterious, both because he is mysterious but also because he would rarely do an interview in a language i can understand (tyoma is monolingual but somehow very understandable anyway 😂). šime speaks spanish and english but would only really do interviews in croatian or italian i feel like. so i feel like i know so little about him! but of course: he has the absolute most beautiful footballer tattoos (that BUTTERFLY!!!), fantastic taste in music, and his sense of style--a little more alternative/edgy than other footballers. he's clearly a guy who did his own thing without seeking a lot of external validation, and it was fascinating how he comes across as very mysterious but very steady at once. he's also very uniquely beautiful--there is that "you can tell a lot about a person based on whether they think šime or dejan is hotter" concept 😂 and the whole tungelr knows where i stand on this, but, damn if šime's slutty pirate/širen self isn't captivating to stare at. i miss him SO much and think constantly about how he essentially gave his whole career to the 2018 world cup without realizing.

something else is how humble and normal he always came across. of course you can only know about these people what they put on social media, but back when he was active on there, he was never vacationing to dubai or ibiza or on some yacht--he'd go home to Zadar and repair old cars with a grungy tshirt tied around his head.

least favorite thing about them: that he knocked up some Instagram Hot Lady and got together with her! and disappeared off social media and is made of literal glass! promise i'm not showing favoritism--i don't think šejan had a dramatic and bad breakup, but i think science kind of proves that the breakup was driven by šime bc dej is persistent as fuck and clearly a very devoted long distance boyfriend 😂

I'VE BEEN WANTING AN EXCUSE TO POST MORE ABOUT IT! Ily anon thank you and sorry it took me a while to reply here we gooo :))

This whole thing stemmed cause I re-watched Pacific Rim, one of my favorite movies of all time after a QSMP vod. And I immediately was like. "Oh my god, Jaiden and Roier as Jaeger pilots." So far I have 8 pages of a Google Doc on this now.

And now there's MORE to do bc MORE members just dropped.

Everyone is still stranded on an Island, one in the middle of the Ocean reserved for a Shatterdome that is used solely for training and repairing/constructing Jaegers. Everyone is stuck due to the sudden appearance of some Kaiju. One uses an electrical attack, sending a shock wave over the island and Shatterdome. Everyone is knocked out for two hours, and when they wake up, all technology/ways of communication outside the island is broken/unusable. Also, no one remembers why or how they are there. They only remember their names, some of the other members, and what Kaiju and Jaegers are. Otherwise, they're stuck and clueless.

Here's some ideas I have for the Eggs so far!

Eggs:

The kiddos are found as Kaiju eggs, in the same order so far. Super small compared to what is normal for Kaiju, so they are taken in for research- not easily, some people say no, but overall the majority vote to bring them in. They hatch about two weeks later, shocking everyone when they hatch to reveal what look like regular, human toddlers- all with white hair, white scales, and small white tails (over time of being cared for, the kiddos' scale colors change to match their parents and such).

At this point, everyone pairs up to take care of the kids. Some are already romantic couples, qprs, or besties. Badboyhalo is still a single parent, however I might work in Skeppy as being his friend/partner who is either on the island in a coma or just not there at all but Bad still remembers him much to the chagrin of everyone else. As for Quackity, I might have Tallulah and Tilín be twins, and have Wilbur and Quackity work that out (who knows how that will end, they're both disasters).

So far, I have options written as far as Egg deaths and what I want to do if I don't want to include Egg death. Cause it's fucking sad, but also. Juicy juicy angst.

Characters:

So far every character is just plain old human (except obviously the eggs, cucurucho, and code).

So far for Jaegers, I have 5, which I feel is a good amount. I didn't want to have too many, I had to narrow down the number of ppl I wanted to see in a Jaeger. I'll list the pairs I have so far here:

• Jaiden and Roier

• Baghera and Forever (siblings in this au)(they pilot a Jaeger formerly manned by Bad and Skeppy)

• Philza and Missa (Formerly manned by Phil and Fit)

• Mariana and Charlie

• Pac and Mike (woah woah!) (also I'm still back and forth about them being pilots or engineers- or hey! both)

Everyone else is either dedicated to Strategy, Kaiju research/experimentation, general tech, or Jaeger engineering/design.

Cucurucho and The Code are also there, I'm brainstorming ideas on them (and the Eggs) being Government experiments of some kind, trying to blend animals and humans with Kaiju.

I love when the Hispanic ladies at my one job be like “Buenos Dias chica!” Like yes!! I am a chica!! Or a “hi mami/mama”. And I’ll be like Buenos diassss como Estas and they’re like bien y tu and I’m like bien gracias! I used to only say “good morning” but I told them I wanna learn Spanish! I’m trying more now than I did before. But I don’t wanna look silly so sometimes I’ll revert to “good morning” but I try to make the effort to say something in Spanish. I want to be connected more to my roots goddamn it! They’re so cute tho. They’re very clique-ish (there’s some that are grumpy and mean so I don’t say anything to them. I’ve tried!! They’re just standoffish), and they all love to eat together whenever they can, they hug and kiss each other on the cheek sometimes when they greet each other. They hold the other persons arm or have them close to them almost lovingly sometimes too when they’re greeting. It’s cute to witness. There’s this one Hispanic woman at the one job in particular who I’d used google translate with to talk to since we worked in the same area together, as she’s learning English and I’m trying to learn how to say Spanish phrases and understand. She really appreciated that I’d talk with her and try to include her in conversations. We all do, but the other yt ppl just only speak English at her, try to show they’re joking to include her, while I tried more to get to know her and ask questions about her life. She felt safe with me. She came from Educador? Honduras? Fuck I’m sorry😭 six months back. Her dad passed when they got to the US. So she’s been on her own. I remember her first day, we didn’t know where to put her, and one of the Hispanic lady’s was being a jerk (the jerk in question actually looks like my grandma in the face a little, it’s weird… she was standoffish with me too but now she’s warmed up to me) and translating to her we didn’t want her with us on the truck. She started crying :(( we all felt bad. The other coordinator who’s older than me started crying too bc she felt bad for making Maria feel bad. But she knows now we love her in the back and she’s amazing to work with. She would tell me every now and then when we’d have our google translate convos, that I have a beautiful heart and soul. I’d tell her I think the same of her and I’m glad I met her. Now she works later shifts bc of her other jobs she had to pick up, so I haven’t seen her in a couple weeks :(( miss her. At first most of the Hispanic ladies were cold toward me when I first started working. A lot of people were cold actually and most are middle aged it’s kinda weird. I guess it’s just the times we live in now. But also they were probably like “what is that thing, what do we call it😭😭 she’s a girl, but she’s strong like a guy” since I work in the back and carry stuff. I carry myself more masculine. People never know if I’m a guy or a girl sometimes, it’s pretty funny. Adds to the mystery. A rarepair I'd have loved to see was Robin x Chrissy but we all know how that went, so...

N - Name three things you wish you saw more or in your main fandom (or a fandom of choice).

Well rn my main fandom is Stranger Things so I'll go with that. First off, I'd like to see more Lumax interacting with the other characters, especially from Lucas' pov. Secondly, more Steve finding the solution to a problem cause even though TVtropes rightfully says he's been getting dumber and dumber he still makes good connections. Thirdly, more of everyone being understanding with Steve being forgetful/spacing out, especially as a result of the concussions. I wanna see him hurt, but I wanna see his people taking care of him too, you know?

What I wish I saw more in general is definitely more healthy M/F pairings and more F/F pairings!

I never named my MC and gave her any real background bc I wrote my first Open Heart fic in less than an hour and just went with Casey Valentine bc it was the default and I think that name actually suits the oph MC hahaha. She’s just the exact same insane MC I’ve been writing with a new name. I wanted to give my girl a proper introduction since I have a new series coming and I’m not getting off the Ethan train anytime soon so here she is lol!

Ikemen Sengoku with a Chilean MC | Oda Forces Part 1

So... I’m chilean. And I though it would be funny to make my Ikesen MC also chilean.

Background of my MC: Her name is Haruka, father is japanese the mother is chilean. She lived in Chile until the age of 12 were her and her family moved to Japan.

Things you need to know about Chilean ppl: We speak fast. We mix words with Mapudungun (one the lenguages of our natives, the Mapuches). We curse alot, just for the sake of cursing.

I’ll translate in the best of my abilites. Now into the hcs

Oda Nobunaga:

In the first meeting he already heard some weird words but didn’t pay attention to them.

But then she came toward his room and...

“¡Buscate otra para esta wea! ¡¿Que acaso eri’ muy flojo como para tomar tu pisco culiao solo?!” (Search other for that! Are you that lazy that you can’t drink for yourself?!)

... What?

“What was that?”

“Nothing of your business”

Then the pushing to the futon happened and Nobunaga could hear Haruka fussing under him

“If we were in the future! Oh I would have called the police! Culiao’ de mierda, mal nacido, hijo de-” (Alot of cursing lmao)

Ok, he did understand the first part.

“What?”

More than onces Nobunaga was able to hear those weird words coming from her mouth.

And everytime he asked, Haruka refuse to answear what do they mean.

Not even when they finally got together.

“I prefer you stay ignorant Gordito” (Gordito translated means fatty, but here in Chile is a common nickname between ppl we love, especially romantic partners)

Toyotomi Hideyoshi:

Thank godness Haruka cursed Nobunaga in her native lenguage

Bc Hideyoshi was able to tell by her tone of voice that she insulted his lord but if he knew what she was saying...

“...Chupa pico...” (Suck it off) Hideyoshi heard Haruka say, clearly mad, after he went over and made sure she wasn’t going to do anything funny againts Nobunaga.

At first he was worried that those weird words were some kind of code

But soon he found out it was just another lenguage

As the relationship bloomed into that weird sister-brother mess, Hideyoshi noticed that Haruka tended to slip between japanese and spanish (or that’s what she told him) or speak so fast that he hardly understood half of the things she says.

“¡¿Podi’ dejarme sola weon?! ¡Vuelve a chuparsela al weon ese que solo servi’ para eso!” (Can you leave me alone asshole?! Go back to suck that asshole’s (Nobu) dick since that’s all you are good for!)

That’s what she told him and onces again, he knew she was mad. (But didn’t understand what the hell she just said)

“I guess I am a... Weon? Like you say?” Hideyoshi said to her when the arrow got him.

Everyone was kind of confuse but knew it was something Haruka tended to say.

“Oh Mono... you are...” (Note: Mono as some people may known means monkey, but like Gordito is a common nickname)

Date Masamune:

Ah yes, how can Masamune forget the first words the love of his life told him

“¡¿Estai’ loco weon?!” (Are you crazy idiot?!)

He doesn’t know what they mean, but probably were screams of excitemeant by riding in a horse

After the kiss, Haruka became really hostile and talked and her other lenguage more frequently everytime they were in the same room

The time they did spent together was enough to tell him she wasn’t saying anything nice about him.

“Chupame esta maricon” (Suck this coward) (Important note about “Marcion”: It can mean coward or it can be used as a slur toward gays, it depends the context so don’t go around saying it freely)

She said that with a not so nice gesture that left clear as water they weren’t friendly words

“Would you ever teach me what all those words mean?”

“No.”

so I watched Encanto last night with my friend

- the Spanish! I know enough to recognize individual words which I told my friend (and talked about the interesting diminutive-or-not choices of “Abuela” but “casita”), but not to understand when there were whole sentences and songs in it. The most annoying part? We watched with Russian subtitles bc my friend isn’t good at English BUT THEY DID NOT TRANSLATE THE SPANISH PARTS. AT ALL. What the FUCK subtitle makers????????

- oh my god character designs! Faces??? bodies??? people who look different and also like people? i am in LOVE with Mirabel’s face. And Luiza! And Abuela!

- (does Abuela have a name? If it came up I failed to remember it)

- so we took a break mid movie for dog need and while we were downstairs I talked about the movie as one does and I said “I wonder what Isabel’s problem is, her life seems the most fine out of all of them but she acts like she’s got nothing better to do than bully Mirabel, something’s wrong there” and my best guess was that she missed Bruno but well oh boy. Did I ever miss the obvious, quite well illustrating Isabela’s point.

- the vague af backstory has my respect. I’m assuming it’s referencing something specific that I don’t know about because I’m from Ukraine?

- THE SONGS. SO FUCKING GOOD. I love all disney musical numbers always but they really outdid themselves with this one

- so the whole song “we don’t talk about Bruno” was just lying and convincing themselves they don’t miss him af, huh. judging by the reaction when he was back

- Bruno is an AMAZING character. the way he is simultaneously very badass and hilariously awkward and superstitious and a little feral in this very specific and great way.

- speaking of which I love how the movie both presented the rats he lived with as adorable AND clearly agreed with Mirabel’s judgement of “you need to get the fuck out of here”. the rat using the toothbrush is adorable but maybe you need human company Bruno

- my god, every single character. so good. Dolores, Isabela, Luiza, Camilo, Pepa, Mirabel’s mom (who is the other character than Abuela whose name I don’t remmeber because Mirabel relates to them a specific way). Not to mention Mirabel and Antonio who are THE MOST precious. And Abuela! And the husbands! and the three kids!!! AAAAAAAA

- so I might have seen this on tumblr before but I really do stand by the conspiracy theory that Mirabel DID have powers and they were THE SAME AS ABUELA’S which is probably why she didn’t get her own door - cause there was already a door to that power! The power of the house itself! I’m pretty sure the house, while protecting and helping all inhabitants, communicated with and obeyed Mirabel in a way that it didn’t anyone else except for Abuela (who had priority over Mirabel there), particularly illustrated during the final climbing sequence where everyone else had to try and traverse the house normally but Mirabel just had a railing act as a ladder for her like that’s a normal thing to have happen

- my friend said that her power is to be the family therapist but no that’s just what she ended up having to do because she’s connected to the house and There Was Need For A Family Therapist and no-one else was doing it. it’s not a power it’s just what happens to kids in households that aren’t okay

- WOO HAPPY ENDING. I am SO glad it resolved the way it did, and also the best

- the community/village!!! I love that the whole miracle story came with saving the whole group and not just their family, and I love how the village was simultaneously innocent and complicit in the Madrigals’ problems, and I love how they came together to help fix their house at the end!!!

- Dolores my best most purest child who knew everything and kept her mouth shut but also absolutely spilled the beans during the proposal because sometimes you just have to go ‘fuck it’ and go feral

- Isabel and her PLANT POWERS not flower powers THAT SONG WAS SO GOOD and I love how Mirabel transitioned from awkwardly trying to do Hug Magic with her to being an active participant in HELL YEAH GIRL YOU GROW THAT PALM and I love how Isabel instantly stopped being hostile to Mirabel the moment she grew her cactus because she presumably knew full well Mirabel was to blame for 0 of her problems and the minute she found another outlet she abandoned the bullshit

Hmmm.... Truth be told, I don’t really know? I joke about it being protags, but I think ones that are a lot like me. FLUFF: I adore fluff. Much like everything, it’s good in moderation. If done too much, it tends to lose it’s value, unless it’s canon that the characters are like that. Much like a lot of people who’ve done this this meme, everything is in good moderation. 

ANGST:  Angst can be a little tricky, since there’s a fine line between overdone and character-building angst. While I don’t mind it, I also want out muses to get something out of it. Something that helps them grow and become something more. If that makes sense.

SMUT: My least favorite, just because I tend to be picky on who I smut with. Smut with plot is the best for me, but one time flings are also fine. 

PLOT / MEMES:  Give me plots. While I do take a while to reply and get into the groove of plotting things, know that I do my best to throw things back at you.
