im about to sleep but art wisdom i wanna share: when drawing backgrounds, especially nature-based ones, you can get away with using incomprehensible blobs of color a LOT and imo I think it's better if you do do that because it's less work AND doesn't take away from the actual focal point of the drawing (like say, a character)

#this is the method I used when painting all those plants for the sivler piece #it was my first time trying and it was both super fun and low stresss tbh #zoom in closely and you will see all the plants are actually just fuckin. green masses that vaguely resemble foliage #I learned this technique from Ann Maulina whom I HIGHLY recommend y'all check out
