This was so HARD, I don't draw underwater things, but I think this turned out really nice <3 I especially had fun adding the speckles to Jade's body.

So I wanted to draw Burn and then it occurred to me I could draw a comic of the first book prologue cuz that’s honestly when she’s at her coolest.

I’ve never really drawn comic panels before so sorry if it looks weird.

my favourite thing about act 1 Shadowheart romance is that she’ll say all sorts of wild shit like “try not to dream about tying me up” and all the stuff with Abdirak, but when you get her romance scene she’s too shy to actually kiss you. she just sits there and looks at you with her big wet puppydog eyes and waits for you to notice and kiss her first

-> is not a student currently, works full time at her family's farm (might like to try out agricultural science once Appleboom is older)

-> is close with Fluttershy since she lives close to the farm and likes to check on the animals there

-> gay ; is preoccupied with work to make moves though

-> met Rarity through Fluttershy. She often brings her resources from her farm or around town. She met Rainbow Dash and Sunset Shimmers through Rarity

-> met Twilight and Sci-Twi through Pinkie (it took her some time to realize that they were twins)

-> is the one in charge of making deliveries in town with her truck (designated driver most of the times)

All those male pessimist or existentialist philosophers who are worshipped in academia because they jerked off in their bourgeois appartment saying life sucks are made to make you feel bleak. But the way JKRowling talks about life, death, grief and love, which are the main themes in all of her main books (Harry Potter, The Casual Vacancy, Cormoran Strike) is so human and moving and comforting, but of course, because she is a children book writer and, even more awful, a "TERF bitch", she isn't heralded the same way male philosophers are. There's a reason so many people find solace in Harry Potter, it's because it doesn't shelter you from the awfulness of death while, at the same time, it brings you an optimist perspective on life and offers positive values. As such, JKRowling's philosophy is counter cultural in that it challenges the existentialist worldview that has been embraced by the arts and academia. In this essay, I will-
