summary : harry and y/n being domestic (it’s all fluff)

content warnings : none. it’s just fluff.

harry was finally relaxed, he wasn’t high strung while touring but he was getting overwhelmed. he didn’t get as much time for him and y/n anymore, and he wasn’t home enough for his liking. so this fall, he was determined to be as domesticated and homely as possible.

currently, he was lounging on the couch in grey sweats, with the brown pleasing hoodie on with a burberry blanket sprawled across his lap as he watched the crown.

y/n had gone out to grab starbucks, and knowing y/n probably a few candles around ten minutes ago. he was trying to catch up to where y/n was in the show even tho she insisted she didn’t mind rewatching a few seasons.

she came barreling into the home, a drink carrier in one hand and a grocery bag in the other. “harry?” she called out. harry shot up to come help her with the items and was surprised when the grocery bag had a large flower arrangement in it. “have the ones i got you already wilted?” he asked as he took the drinks and bag from her hand so she could take her coat and shoes off. sure it was fall but he had gotten them on sunday, it was only tuesday.

“oh those are for you.” she said causally, harry’s heart melted as he pulled out the arrangement. it was a mixture of sunflowers and orange tulips. “i tried to find lilys but they didn’t have any.” she said, walking around the counter and kissing his cheek. immediately he wrapped her in a hug. “thank you.” he whispered, like it was a secret. she blushed, “of course.” she said, as she gently broke it, knowing harry would never let go if he didn’t have to. “im going to change and make some brunch?” she said, but it was more like a question. “i’ll make brunch, you get comfortable.” he insisted. she blushed again before pecking his lips, “your amazing, you know that?” she smiled, he blushed back.

“you deserve everything and more lovie.” he said, before kissing her for real, then letting her go change as he grabbed their waffle maker and dug in the grocery bag till he pulled out the waffle mix, and added will to it. before heating up chicken, and platting the chicken and waffles. he set the plates down on the coffee table were y/n was on her phone, scrolling on pinterest.

“what are you pintresting?” he asked, she giggled. “fall outfits, i found a few ideas.” she said. “better take you out to dinner then, i want to see them on the model.” he said, before kissing her head.

she tossed her phone aside when harry circled the couch and resumed his position where he had been, she crawled into his lap and laid her head on his chest and body on his legs. he covered her with the blanket and kissed her again. before grabbing her plate and feeding it to her as he pressed play on their show.

“i love that dress.” she said, catching a glimpse of the screen, harry hummed. “maybe it’s just vanessa kirby.” she said, harry rolled his eyes. “definitely not, you’d look amazing in that costume.” he complimented, she blushed. “you think i’d be a pretty princess?” she asked, with a slight pout to show she was joking. harry giggled and kissed her again. “you already are lovie.”

Psiloc could never get used to being at his sister's hive. The gothic aesthetic, the grim decor, the haunting feeling of being watched. None of it was his style, but he loved his sister nonetheless and couldn't bear the thought of poking fun of her for her taste. She never poked fun of his, so it would be rude to mock hers. Psiloc was silently shuffling behind his sister, watching her long, half black half pink dyed hair swish behind her. Agorna wasn't much of a talker and Psiloc knew that, but regardless he tried to fill the empty void was chatter. Telling his sister about his life, his quadrantmates, how things have been going for him. He was used to her silence, her small "mhm's" to show she was listening. He was used to this, but it didn't stop him from feeling a bit hurt that his own sister didn't even seem interested in his life. But oh well, what can you do? The two Purplebloods entered Agorna's kitchen, the scent of freshly cooked meat and stew filled Psiloc's nose. He felt his stomach growl. When was the last time he actually ate a full meal and not something snack-like? He couldn't quite remember. Agorna made her way over to the kitchen counter and began platting food for the two of them. Large cuts of perfectly cooked meat, stemmed vegetables, Agorna's signature stew and some form of mashed potatoes. Psiloc dropped down into his seat across from his sister, giving her a small nod of "thank you" once she placed the plate down in front of him. He grabbed his silverware and started eating, his ears wiggling softly as he did so. He always loved his sister's cooking. Nothing beat a hivecooked meal by someone you loved dearly. Forkful after forkful, Psiloc shoved food into his mouth, looking up briefly to see his sister back at the kitchen counter with two glasses in front of her and a larger pitcher of some sort of drink. Psiloc cocked an eyebrow up, silently watching. His sister filled the two pearly black glasses with a reddish-purple liquid, but added some sort of... Powder? Sugar? Psiloc squinted, trying to make out whatever the packet could be. It was odd tho. Why was she only putting it in HIS drink, but not her own? Psiloc shrugged his shoulders, trying to brush the thought away. Must've been sugar or something. Agorna didn't like sugary things, but she knew Psiloc did. A gentle "click" and the glasses were set down on the table before Agorna sat down herself, beginning to eat silently and in a much more ladylike fashion, unlike Psiloc who just shoved food into his mouth without even a single thought. Psiloc looked at his drink, noticing the faint little particles. A weird sinking feeling his Psiloc's stomach, but once again he simply shook it off before grabbing his drink and taking a sip. 'There's nothing to worry about', he told himself. 'Nothing to worry about at all.'
