#cecil blogs her life#it’s so gd well executed man#just a no skip album#I recently found hthaze and I love how knowledgeable he is but also just how joyous he is#he gets so unapologetically hyped and like!! this is what music does!!#none of that stoic music snobbery that I see from some react/reviewers online#I recently saw a white dude react to hozier’s too sweet and he was so weirdly condescending about it#bc he thought it wasn’t groundbreaking and sounded like ‘it came out of 2013’#and the comment section was just full of people agreeing with him & generally reminding me of the dudes I went to hs w#(also condescending holier than thou music snob white dudes)#and I can’t stop thinking about it…. in the year 2024 we are not allowing fun??#music doesn’t have to be groundbreaking to be enjoyable you edgelords. a bop is a bop is a bop
