Rewatching Gravity Falls for the who-knows-what thousandth time and I. I have. A thought.

The website that alluded to (not confirmed, as far as I know) of a season three. And this is a big deal.

Since it's pretty much a given that if this does end up happening, Bill WILL be a part of it and they'll need some way to stop him. So I figured, since Mabel destroyed the memory eraser and Bill would probably not have fallen for the same thing twice anyway, the obvious choice is the zodiac wheel again.

BUT.

What if instead of it all being the same person in the same spot as they were in the finale, why not have their positions switched around a bit. The obvious examples being Wendy as pine tree since she and Dipper swapped hats and Soos since he took over as owner of the Mystery Shack and also Stan's iconic hat. I *may* try to plot out who would go where and share the rest of that stuff on here, but I think this idea would work really well when you contextualize it with the concept that even though time has passed and people have grown and changed and are no longer the same as they once were, they're still just as strong and still care for each other and their bond will never be broken.

Much like the people who loved this show.

genuinely why is there so much misinformation about the guardians of childhood book series?

#Lemme be a toxic fan for a moment bc im so tired and stressed and i need to yell my silly fandom frustrations out to the void #The people saying Jack is fourteen in them. No.#He can manipulate his age from 11 to 18 and is dating a 25 yr old #people still insist that the books are connected to the movie despite there being no possibility for that since 2018 #And like they totally guess what happens in the books #I saw someone try to say that dreamworks were being 'weird' and aged Jack up to ship him with tooth but in the books he was a child #three things: He's not fourteen (see above for age. He's essentially an adult and is treated as such) and is dating an adult #And he didn't make an official appearance in the books until 2018. Six years AFTER the movies release #and thirdly dreamworks aged him DOWN????#Joyce's og idea was an adult with a wife + kids ???#Like what are you talking about #never mind the people insisting that JACK IS 12???? NO??? Where did you get ur information bc wtf???#the movie started production (in 2008) before any of the books even existed (first book was published in 2011)#We have no idea how much of the books they had! The most they had were Joyce's ideas that were subject to change (and boy did they change)#the walking eggs in the movie didn't come from the book (even tho they're in there) they came from Joyce's doodling on notes!#The third book published alongside the movie tie-in books and then days later the finished film premiered at the Mill Valley Film Festival #by the time the second book rolled around (2012) the movie was probably finished and was just getting distributed by paramount and #was possibly even finished in 2011! Four years of production of the movie and then the first book got released #I cannot express enough how much the books are not the source material for the movie. If anything is it's the 2005 short film Joyce made #God it's so infuriating to see people discussing the books like they're the Bible without having read it. I get so irrationally upset #And why are we talking about the books like they have any relevance to the movie after 2018? that book completely severed all ties #Like I get it if people want to connect them but you'd have to ignore the entire last book to do that (which yeah most do)#but there's so many assumptions about the books and it makes it clear who got their into from fan rumors and who actually read them #if you are basing ur understanding of a book you've never read based on fanfic maybe you just shouldn’t say anything about the book #rotg #rise of the guardians #guardians of childhood #goc

I ate half a serving of some really really good pesto pasta in the evening. Just rocketed out of bed at 3 AM after an hour or so of intense rounds of pain and I’m not going to go into details but holy shit I wish I never ate more than a couple bites of it and just brought a smoothie or soup to the restaraunt instead this is AWFUL. Literally hauled myself into the bathtub with warm water just to breathe.

Just wanted to post a quick note saying today is the 5th anniversary of when I finally went to my first 5SOS show. Every year I think about how wildly different my fandom experience would've been if I'd been able to attend previous tours, how everything aligned just right for me to finally go to MYT, how I almost talked myself out of attending the night before, how completely unrecognizable my life would be today if I hadn't gone. I probably wouldn't have a blog to post this to. You wouldn't know me, I wouldn't know you. I never would've met so many of my friends. I wouldn't have ever met my best friend, the best friend I've ever known. I never would've rediscovered my love for writing. I genuinely don't know how I would be spending my days and I wonder if they would still be filled with the kind of joy I have found here in this community.

It feels fitting that this reflective day coincides with the last show of this tour, a tour that has been powered by appreciation for the bond we share and celebration of the time we've all spent together. Keeping up with this tour has been impossibly fun (and sometimes just plain impossible) and I can't think of a better way to have spent the past three months. I'm happy to have experienced it - and the past 5 years - with this band and with all of you. Thank you to this band, to my friends, to anyone who's ever interacted with me here and most of all, to Past Me for buying those tickets all those years ago. I wouldn't have a place to call home without you. 💙

With pride month coming up, I'd like to remind people to pay attention to when the lesbian flag is excluded from designs or posts or merch drops or whatever. I personally don't reblog pride sets that don't include it, and while you're free to do whatever, please just pay attention.

We have our own flag and we have the right to not just be bunched under the rainbow flag as any other identity with their own flag does. The community flag is trans, nonbinary, and gnc inclusive and was personally voted on by. Well. The community. It's also so pretty? Don't ignore her.
