My son had his physical this morning. He’s always been in the 90th + percentile for height but he jumped up to the 96th and is projected to be 6’4” as an adult. 🫠

Why do people who are tall and are asked how tall they are are like “I’m 6.5” and wait for applause like being tall is a talent. Crushing a melon with your thighs is a talent. Being tall is like okay thank you for blocking the sun.

I do not use feet, and am used to meters. Andrew being 5ft flat doesn't mean anything to me.

I googled recently what that is in meters (1.5) and laughed so hard about it that it stuck

As a result, whenever I need to convert feet to meter, I no longer search it, I just have to count how many andrews that would be

Worst part is, my brain doesn't go 'ah yes 20ft, 5ft = 1.5m, so that's 6m'

It goes 'ah, 20ft, so 20÷5 = 4, so for Andrew Minyards, so 4×1.5'

Recently read Shadowpact. Initially read just for Laura Fell, but I really liked this team. DC Universe only has the first 16 issues, so I’ll have to dig around for the last nine issues (I believe it’s 25 issues long?). Laura is so adorable?? Like she’s so sweet and easy to get along with… without the whole supervillain corrupted heart magic thing, that is. Her characterization in Robin is kinda… ya know. But if I ignore that and focus on Shadowpact, she’s easily one of my favorites.
