the way the clones and the Jedi’s cultures became so intertwined always gets me so teary.
Airo was literally the youngest of young for soldiers (he’d been named for a grand total of one day), and his dying words are still a Jedi / Force saying.
he didn’t have to spend years upon years with Obi-Wan for the Force- for the Jedi- to mean something to him. it just did. naturally. because he heard what the clones said about Obi-Wan and the Jedi and he trusted them and it wasn’t just him.
they all trusted and loved their generals, and the Jedi trusted and loved them in return. and that’s why Order 66 is SO deeply gutting
The thing that pains me about burning maze is the fact that Jason still showed up to class. THIS DUDE got a death sentence of a prophecy and still showed up for his 9 am math class pls😭 he deserves the absolute world
I’m rewatching Beyond Evil and I will never, ever be over the scene where Dongsik finds Yuyeon’s body. It’s a master class in acting by Hakyun. He’s devastated; he’s relieved; he’s so, so apologetic. He’s reuniting with the twin he lost. She’s dead. She’s in his wall. But she’s there. After twenty years of trauma and agony and endless wondering, he’s found her. There is joy in that, even when it’s wrapped up in despair. Even when finding her means he’s lost her all over again.
Have we ever discussed the possibility that Carmy basically threw both, Claire and Sydney, away? Carmy slammed the door on Claire’s declaration of love the same way he cut the tether to his partnership with Sydney.
He didn’t talk to either of them about it, constantly leading him back to the fridge. A simple apology with words of affirmation could’ve solved both situations but those particular words were probably always stuck at the roof of his mouth, wasting and rotting away until he had to chew it back down because he felt it was already too late.
