Progress photo for my second furby. I’m knitting the body myself. most of the work is being done on sunday mornings while at church. that’s the only time in get to knit and also it feels pretty cursed. Stage-Three Fakemon Starters:

I finally got these guys done, and boy did it take a while. Anyways, these are the final stages of my starters! Also, I’ve finally decided on a name for my region—I’m going to call it the Xinlao region.

Just for some general information on the region I’m working on, I’ve decided to base it on China. I’m relatively familiar with Chinese Culture, as well as the Mandarin language, so I figured that would work best. These starters are each based on a highly valued skill in China: the fire starter represents culinary expertise, the water starter represents mastery over martial arts, and the grass starter represents knowledge and education. I really enjoyed designing all three and look forward to diving a bit deeper into the region.

Earlier today, I went to Kaiser with my mom so she could get her prescription. As I was getting back into the car, I used all of my mental on avoiding stepping in a puddle of vomit on the ground, but I used none of that to energy on making sure I wouldn’t hit my head when opening the car door. Like I hit myself with the metal part too. My head still aches. This sucks.

I haven't seen the doctor yet, but I'll make it through. My grandma didn't watch me closely as a baby, and for some reason let me play in the drivers seat of an RV, so I ended up falling headfirst onto concrete during a family vacation to see a parade. If I survived that, I can handle this.

If I die, I die. C'est la vie.
