isn’t it actually insane how the things people say stick with you forever? like, you would not think that words mean as much as they do.

i was once told by one of my long time friends that she would prefer me to talk too much than not at all and whenever i’m insecure about how much i’m talking, i think about that.

i was once told by a friend that my personality was so sweet i was personally gonna have them in dentures and that i show people love and kindness they often lack in day to day life and i don’t think there has been a single day where i haven’t thought about those sentences. and the fact that those words were said by a person i think so highly of, who has influenced my life so much? insane.

one of my friends once said i had so much love in my little heart and that i was a gem of a human and everytime i am sad i remind myself of that and smile. what high praise from one of the nicest, kindest people i’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing and loving.

one of my friends once asked why i have the kindest soul ever and when i feel like a failure i think “well, at least one of the most lovely, loving, friendly people i know thinks i am kind and that is the greatest thing ever.”
