Wolfstar works on the structure that it is a canonical ship because jkr was playing hide and seek and sprinkling around crumbs of clues that Remus and Sirius are boning each other. (Or should I say Sirius was getting f*cked by his moony, because that is what 90% of wolfstar is about. A top Remus and a bottom Sirius- add this to my reasons for dislike list)

The alpha leader. The casanova. The sex guru. But the problem is that his name is still Remus Lupin and I have read hp books with all devotion. Also I am not talking about following canon plot in the fics... I am saying the wibe is always off. Like my hc is Sirius and James as top dogs and then Remus and peter. While the basic given in wolfstar and jegulus is Sirius+James + Remus and then Peter, if they are feeling charitable. Otherwise it is Remus and then James and then Sirius and then Peter.

Then tumblr through - 'you may like this because you like this' and extra excited wolfstar and jegulus fans through wrong tagging decided that I should see these incorrect marauders era post . Where Sirius is always dramatic or stupid or idiot and a combination thereof. That was the day where this intense dislike begin.

Now this unnecessary shoving in my face something I am not interested in, made me hate wolfstar.... The reactance theory I explained earlier. Yeah actually I do!! Because it’s happened to me before!

So, best case scenario is they tell you the thing you were worried about isn’t actually an issue and they try to direct you to an entirely different, unrelated problem. For instance: with my first car, which was a piece of shit to begin with, I had some transmission issues at one point and went to a transmission shop to have them look. At my. Transmission. Just the transmission. And a little while later the guy comes out and he’s like “yeah idk your transmission fluid was a little dark but it doesn’t smell burnt or anything so it’s probably fine. The issue you really have is that your entire front end is fucked and needs to be rebuilt.”

At which point you do the same thing you would do to a doctor trying to tell you to lose weight as a magic solution to all your problems (but you gotta kinda stroke their ego a little bit). “That’s a fair observation, and I’ll definitely take a quote on that, but I don’t think that has anything to do with the issue I came in for. Can you please help me figure out why my transmission was slipping/what that noise is/why it’s vibrating so much/whatever?”

At that point if they push back with “it’s probably just a fluke” or “I didn’t see anything wrong with it” ask for a second opinion, either have the same mechanic take another pass at it or ask if there’s another mechanic in the shop who can take a look. If they still give you shit, just take the quote for the work they apparently did want to do and find another shop. Any quotes they give you are indeed just quotes; you never have to talk to them again if you don’t want to. Just don’t pay for anything if all they did was a diagnostic and didn’t actually do any work!! Unless they explicitly tell you diagnostics cost money, which the vast majority of shops don’t do.

Worst case scenario is they start throwing all sorts of technical terms at you for issues that might be related to your main concern. At that point, you’re unfortunately going to need to do some legwork. Ask them for a quote for the work they’re suggesting. Most of the technical BS that they’ve thrown at you should be on the quote. Then take your car to another shop. Do not tell them that you’ve been to another shop or have a quote elsewhere. If they give you the exact same technical BS, chances are fairly good that they’re actually on to something. If they give you an entirely new batch of technical BS, you know they’re probably just fucking with you. There’s still probably some overlap between the two quotes; figure out what that overlap is, and that’s likely the work that actually needs to be done. Honestly, you might take it to a third shop just to rule out that one of the two shops was on to something & the other was just bullshitting you.

Some other various tips:

Read the reviews online! If there are a ton of complaints about being overcharged for unnecessary work, don’t go there!

Ask your friends! Chances are good someone you know knows a guy. If you’re still worried they might try to swindle you, bring the friend who recommended them to you with you!

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. This means do preventative maintenance on your car. Get your oil changed (highly recommend getting full synthetic, you can usually go about 5k miles between oil changes), get your tires balanced and rotated. Speaking of oil changes: for the love of god stop going to overpriced ass chain shops (Take 5, Valvoline Instant Oil Change, Jiffy Lube, etc). Literally go to Walmart (as long as your Walmart has an auto center) and ask for a full synthetic oil change. This will be just as good & not cost nearly as much.

If you must go to another shop to get your oil changed and/or tires balanced and rotated, they’ll probably try to sell you wiper blades. You can say no. You should say no. Buy them at Walmart, on Amazon, or from RockAuto. They will be a million times cheaper. And they’re very easy to change; most of the packaging comes with instructions, but YouTube is your friend—just search your year make & model and “how to change wiper blades.” (Ex: how to change wiper blades on 2013 Honda Civic.)

(If they try to sell you anything else, you can say no to that, too. An oil change is just oil & your oil filter. If they’re nice they might also top off your coolant and windshield wiper fluid. You don’t need to have them replace your cabin air filter or wiper blades or anything (although if your car is always stinky and you can’t figure out why you might wanna replace the cabin air filter bc it can help with that))

why i don’t like fasting and counting calories(yes, i will try both again during summer cuz i never listen to myself)

for like more than a year i fasted 21-24h a day, i only ate breakfast and then started fasting and did that everyday with no breaks

what happened?? fcking nothing bro 💀 i just got obsessed with fasting and i had a panic attack everytime i had to break it early. so i started to eat bigger breakfasts to not break the fast midway through and guess how that turned out 🙃 i’ll give u a hint: the word starts with b and ends with inge

so ye, my breakfasts turned into binges + i literally just couldn’t sleep, i woke up at 3-5 every single morning, didn’t matter when i went to sleep cuz i just couldn’t sleep + i had b12 and magnesium deficiency which meant i had the WORST leg cramps in the middle of the night 🙂 like my whole leg, yes, my foot too, would just randomly cramp so bad i couldn’t even stand up to walk it off + my thumbs also started uncontrollably shaking 😭which was very weird but it was annoying cuz they shook like they were fcking blenders istg

so ye, i slowly tried to stop fasting cuz i was deathly afraid of eating after certain times and i wanted to cure my binging problem, i wasn’t able to eat after lunch for months and then idk why but i had to eat after eight once and it’s been okay ever since lol, like the last thing i want is a fasting obsession cuz i wasn’t even obsessed with losing weight or starving at that point, i was literally obsessed with fasting and the fasting part only

first i started eating healthy foods ONLY, which i was so fcking good at?? i made such good foods and i weighed like 50kg no matter what i ate, i was super strong, whenever i got my blood taken they would tell me how i was as healthy as a extremely healthy adult, it was just great, i had so much energy and i was more active and ye, should go back to that

then i started counting calories and- oh fck.

i started cutting down the calories i ate in a day, i decided to finally start losing weight when we were moving out of our old house cuz i knew no one had the time to focus on what i was eating

so, i cut down the calories. by like, A LOT

and i continued doing that and boom, i was suddenly scared of eating over 100 cals 🙃 i think the first time my mom actually noticed was when i blacked out infront of her lol

okay so i started rapidly losing weight, i was always in a shit mood, i was always super tired, i literally looked dead tbh, my mom told me that she could instantly tell that my face was weird, like i was a living corpse

and boom, i reached under 40 kg in like a month or so :// wasn’t worth it at all btw

so ye, i will start counting calories again but i’m sure i won’t start cutting them down that extremely anymore, i don’t think my health allows that, like i will LITERALLY die in my sleep if i do that and as much as i WANT to die, i’d like to actually be happy before that happens lol

so for summer, i’d just like to be more active and work out more + i’d want to get back into my healthy eating habits because they really worked, they didn’t do much when it came to weight loss but i DID look 100 times slimmer and i just felt stronger and healthier so ye lol

It’s crazy, I was always the “smart one”, the one going to college, they think how could you have it.

When I started this safe space for me to follow my mental health patterns … something like a self assessment

I went into a rabbit whole one night about how there isn’t a cure for depression it’s something you live with for the rest of your life and the older you get the less likely you’ll get help or treatment.

But this was the icing on the cake, mental health issues doesn’t really show up until 17- 20 , or mental health issues aren’t usually fully developed until that age. And if you don’t seek by 25-27, most likely you’re never going to get help

And that was literally me, when I went through depression my first semester it hit me so hard and I realized I was also depressed growing up and controlling my anger made me anxious, I basically started to process my childhood trauma early at 18

It was just a mess, it’s so much trauma there… I thought so many things were normal that we’re outrageous, i started to take responsibility for my downfalls and remember to process anything from my childhood that pop up and understand my feelings about it

At the time I was so happy to be a writer, but i never wanted to share anything because it was so personal and all my life I hid my problems

Hide my problems from family because they don’t care, hid problems from friends because they wouldn’t understand and would stop being my friend if they found out about my problems, this was probably why I never had a real friend until 11

But now in finally getting some help

Still doing reach on a therapist but

Im excited to see the things I can accomplish if my attention span is a lot longer 😭

I always feel like I’m operating at 50%

I take great care of myself and pride myself in being a “responsible adult” at 50%

Just imagine it

Me at 100%

Taking my meds, going to therapy, seeing friends , dealing with family occasionally, pouring my love into art, starting a nail business, going on dates with rich men, keeping my apartment clean, handling inconveniences with GRACE.

That’s the person I’m aiming for
