Kalim has always extended a hand to you, being kind, open, and an overall ray of sunshine on a rainy day. You’re surprised he doesn’t have more people totally in love with him all things considered, as you weren’t exactly a special case. His overly friendly nature extended to everyone which left you with your crush on him feeling a little pathetic. For Kalim, the realization that he has romantic feelings for you is a slow burn, the flame slowly moving down the fuse until it suddenly reaches its conclusion and explodes into a cloud of emotion. Getting jealous when others keep your attention at event he invited you all to was one sign, but the impulse to invite only you was the real impactful point. You could just be living your very normal life as an NRC student, strolling to class when Kalim makes you very aware of his feelings, his confession loud and incredibly embarrassing if you’re the shy type. Now that he finally understood what he was feeling he can’t help but want to explore more experiences with you alone, eager to show you the beauty of the world and all things in it (and wanting to see what you could show him as well).

The king of ignoring his feelings, there’s no chance in hell he’d indulge his own whims with all that he has going on. There’s a deep-seated fear that stops him from getting too close to you, one that whispers like a snake in his ear that he’ll never be enough. So, he decided he does not see you in this way, though it irritated him that Kalim always wanted you so close. It’s hard to ignore your feelings for a person when you were forced to see them every day, and while his constant babysitting of Kalim bred contempt, it’s not quite the same for you. While he did try his best to maintain that distance there’s something about fate that has you chained together, and it agitated him to no end when he thought too much about it. He can’t help but reach a boiling point when the obvious is pointed out to him so many times. So what if you love him? So what if he loves you back? What could you possibly hope to achieve by loving him? There’s a possessive side of him, one that wants to steal you away for himself. His dreams are filled with simplistic yet meaningful things; cheering him on during a basketball game, complimenting the sheen of his hair, laughing as you confessed you wanted his food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. He was in too deep once those daydreams hit, the weakest points of his emotional barrier crumbling the more fate wrote in the stars that you were meant to be.

The first time you’d ever noticed him was when you were at the opening ceremony, noticing a very interesting looking boy peeking at you from under his hood. When he noticed you staring he immediately tried to hide himself but you’d already caught a glimpse of blue flame and even bluer lips, so how could you possibly ignore him? You knew he had a bit of regret about drawing attention to himself, even from you, but you made it a goal to befriend the loner who’d rather immerse himself in technology than speak to an actual person. He made his pining worse when he tried to avoid you but your persistence paid off when Idia officially labeled you as a friend, seeming shocked you even wanted to earn the title. You at least find that Idia made time for you when you asked (which was for very select situations to not stress him out too much) and though he dreaded it, you being the one to invite him to school activities or social situations made it hard to deny. He still would on occasion but he at least balanced it out by inviting you to just spend that time with him in his room, the gentle pink glow the tips of his hair emit after realizing what he said leaving you with a bright smile as you wondered what it would take to get the full length of his hair to glow like that.

Tap Groovy: Instead of just fixing my glasses like a normal mage; Leona had Ruggie make me an eye glasses appointment to get a new prescription…I mean…I guess it's kinda nice? But still, I’ll have Trey or Idia fix my original pair.

Final boss Crowley in the Magic Assault Practice event has him with a whopping 151278 HP! 💀 His boss battle seems to be much like an Overblot battle, where there’s infinite turns and the target must be brought down to zero HP. The worsening part about Crowley is that he heals 8250 HP each turn and casts many debuffs. (The link above has a JP player demonstrating this, with a lost battle of over a hundred turns…🐦‍⬛)

(Edit: okay, as I suspected Crowley’s health and attack seems to scale? I thought this number was very unusual lmao but I haven’t seen much info about the event- I saw another example of 165000 hp, and others in between. Either way…it’s painful levels of HP that Crowley has)

I think it’s interesting that Crowley’s HP is nearly half as Malleus’ HP (300,000) in Book 7. However, the thing is- Malleus seemed to be fully on the offensive in Book 7, with the entire school against him at Lilia’s farewell party. Malleus was certainly meant to be a scripted battle where you must lose, as he heals 60,000 hp every turn, and his HP is just overwhelming in general

Meleanor’s dragon form in Book 7 has her at 250,000 HP, and she is also fully on the offensive against the Dawn Knight and the Silver Owls. She too also heals, but she’s in a fight against there Dawn Knight, who has a much more proportional HP and ATK to fight Meleanor compared to what our card team could do.

The interesting thing to me is that Crowley is indeed *potentially* beatable (I’ve seen countless posts of people giving up on this event and I can’t blame them 😭) because it’s a special class for the students benefit. Furthermore, his beginning speech clarifies that the boss battles against him are all virtual projections, so they aren’t even the real him- it’s just for training purposes.

Crowley says something along the lines that for everyone’s SAFETY, his virtual version of himself has considerably less power than his actual level, and as Headmage he’s still incredibly strong. So essentially, he is not at full offensive like Meleanor and Malleus were, which I believe are the closest comparisons we can get to his power as a Fae??

…I really do like this side of Crowley, but I’m also terrified 🤣 If this is what “for everyone’s safety” is at a STUDENT LEVEL, just how powerful is he when he’s at full offense? In his voicelines, he seems to imply that his true magic level is something to fear. But I keep thinking about the scene in Book 7, where Crowley sends everyone to attack Malleus instead of evacuating. I’m sure he knew that Malleus couldn’t be beat even with the whole school against him, but now thinking of it, Crowley doesn’t seem to actually fear this? His says this as if it’s a tough decision to make, and it is indeed a magical disaster, but there’s not a direct fear of Malleus’ power like the other characters have 🤔

So is there a potential implication could Crowley be even stronger than Malleus? Perhaps…we never did get any reveal of all the mages who are in the elusive “top 5 powerful mages in Twisted Wonderland” list. It’s very, very interesting to me that Crowley has been rather subdued with his magic until now, 4 years into this game (*ﾟ▽ﾟ*) I’m keeping an eye out for a future OB! Malleus battle in the future, because I feel like Crowley’s level could be similar 👀

I’m also curious about the Diasomnia map- I haven’t seen this map with labeled locations yet like the other forms? Crowley is located in this circular area that’s cut off from the main dorm castle, so I’m curious of what this place is from how ceremonial it looks lol…

(I think it’s funny that Malleus is the only one not in the Diasomnia battle map as a target 😭💀 This isn’t too strange, because I think the only dorm with all dorm members for the map is Ignihyde- which is just Idia and Ortho. Still, funny that Crowley came over to replace Malleus 💀)

Jade and Floyd Info Compilation part 16: Jade, Floyd and Idia

Like most of the the main cast, Floyd and Jade do not seem fond of Idia: Jade banters with Lilia about Idia dying during Phantom Bride but retaining his position as a ghost-housewarden (which Floyd finds hilarious).

They come across Ortho looking at a fashion magazine with a special edition on sneakers in the library, and Ortho says that Idia has refused to craft legs for him that do not hover because, “Going terrestrial is for wimps.”

Possibly taking issue with Idia's view of "going terrestrial," Jade happens to recall “a rather fascinating snippet of information about Idia” that they use to blackmail him into fulfilling Ortho’s request for legs that can walk. (Floyd says “Pretty amazing to slap that together in just three days’ time. Good thing your secret didn’t slip,” implying that they may have given him a time limit of three days to grant Ortho’s wish.)

Jade observes, “Fashion begins with the feet, after all. It is incredibly narrow-minded to speak ill of those who do not fly.”

When asked what dorm he would join outside of Ignihyde, Idia considers Octavinelle but then refuses on the basis that he'd rather stay away from “those sinister twins," perhaps based on this interaction.

Jade comments that Idia’s Halloween costume displays “a level of obsessiveness that few of us laypeople could ever hope to reach.” Idia responds, “Somehow, that doesn’t feel like a compliment.”

When Idia visits Jade during the Wish Upon a Star event Jade says that he cannot think of anything to wish for and Idia says, “You’re the vice house warden of Octavinelle, a dorm that’s basically run by a perpetually scheming greed elemental. There’s no way you don’t want something.”

When Jade wishes for the ability to grant Floyd and Azul's wishes, Idia follows with, “You just won the trophy for Most Insincere Wish Ever (Source: Me),” apparently causing Jade to cry.

Ortho reprimands Idia for bullying an underclassman and demands that he apologize. Jade responds, “I’m so relieved you believe me. Heh heh heh…”

Jade and Idia find common ground during Harveston when Jade reviews the rulebook for the sled race and they both immediately agree on points such as destroying their opponents’ plushies, making other teams crash and setting up pitfalls.

Epel and Sebek insist on trying to win the race without sabotage. Jade observes, “You freshmen are so dull—ah, I mean, diligent” and Idia agrees, saying, “Ugh, such arbitrary ‘morals’.”

In his second birthday vignette Jade says he just happened to meet with Idia in front of a vending machine and Idia gave him a candy bar for his birthday.

Ahem, so, uhh, turns out the characters of Jujutsu Kaisen fit pretty well as Night Raven College students, temperament-wise, and that was all the excuse I needed. Yes the ages get funky but whatever. Happy high school AU except they still get cool powers and Trauma(tm). Just less than JJK canon so I count it as a win.

I also may or may not have written an entire oneshot (here on AO3) for some freshmen Satoru & Suguru bonding, featuring me still bullying Satoru over his funky eyes.

Gojo Satoru (of the Jupiter Clan)

Ignihyde Housewarden Year: Junior Species: Sky Dragon (Fae) Club: Movie Analysis Club Unique Magic: Six Eyes—pretty much just like canon Six Eyes. They can see far and wide and out of normal sight, and they can see magic in a highly detailed manner. They are also powered by magic that just, never stops ever, so he can decrease or increase the power/range at will to a degree, but technically, cutting off magic from them altogether will blind him. Also he has an inherited magic that he by no means asked for, which is, sad drumroll, Gate of the Underworld. (There are no shrouds in this AU, just me finding ways to forever make Satoru instrumental to the well-being of the world to his own detriment. I have waaaaay more thoughts about the "Jupiter Clan of dragons" and what that actually entails, but they are still jumbled and shifting, so. Maybe later.)

Geto Suguru (of the Draconia Clan)

Diasomnia Housewarden Year: Junior Species: Night Dragon (Fae) Club: Equestrian Club Unique Magic: Magic-eater—can consume and nullify any spell and gain its base magic. With minimum side effects. Mostly. :)

Satoru and Suguru are their usual brand of special-grade menaces, being the only two adolescent dragon fae in the world, buttttt they still inevitably become besties. With Shoko too, of course, who has no fear and will mess with them as they see fit.

Suguru is essentially Malleus in this AU, though in Suguru-fashion, he's way more stubborn when it comes to trying to catch up. (Translating him being new to sorcery to being new to technology was surprisingly low-hanging fruit.) Meanwhile I borrowed the Jupiter name/legacy because it was fitting and made the Gojo Clan into a long-lived dynasty of antisocial dragons who fist-fight and deal with Phantoms and recently accidentally became a tech empire, which is pretty close to the Sorcerer Family vibe a la TWST, if I say so myself.

There's definitely a lot of backstory I have in mind for the two of them. Neither of them beat teen parenthood (they are currently Malleus-aged, so 178 years old, but that's still teenagehood for a dragon/fae) and acquired children through various means, much to the consternation of their elders/court. I might develop/write more solid ideas later, but Suguru has a reverse characterization moment when he finds two starved/beaten human children (the twins) and begins his journey of losing all intrinsic racism via love, and Satoru still somehow gets his shit wrecked by Toji (probably a heist gone violent or something) and then finds out he had abandoned children: human Tsumiki and half-fae Megumi.

Ieri Shoko

Ignihyde Vice-Housewarden Year: Junior Species: Merfolk (Nurse Shark) Club: Science Club Unique Magic: Reverse—rewinds a target to its previous state within twenty four hours. The longer within the range, the harder/more magic it will take, especially for larger targets, so realistically her range is less. (For example, if someone cracked a piece of glass 24 hours ago, Shoko could restore it, but a day-old wound on a living being would be much harder.)

Making Shoko a mermaid was a joke to myself at first but then I liked it and it spiraled and now Nurse Shark Shoko is unironically one of my favorite things that I have drawn. The joke was right there too, but it's mostly fun to me because nurse sharks are docile and apathetic creatures, for the large part (they are still sharks lol), and I think match her temperament well.

Also when Satoru pestered the previous housewarden enough times to accidentally gain the title for himself, he made Shoko his vice (mostly because he trusted her) to make sure he never had to do the paperwork and the boring parts. She makes him do it anyway. To the dorm, she is less of a vice and more of a "dragon wrangler," which is still extremely appreciated.

Zen'in Maki

Savanaclaw Housewarden Year: Sophomore Species: Human Club: Track & Field Unique Magic: N/A—Maki doesn't actually have magic of her own, but she is unnaturally resistant to most magic. She can, however, use magic/cast spells through a magic-capable familiar.

She befriended a phoenix when she was younger, having survived an encounter with a wild youth. (idk what I want the details to be but I think it would be cool if she had some related burns to it, with the idea that these creatures are rare and volatile and hard for normal humans to handle without high magic resistance.) His name is Torch because I don't think Maki would put that much thought into a name, so long as its not completely stupid sounding. I almost named the phoenix Jogo but I refrained for my own sanity.

Inumaki Toge

Savanaclaw Year: Sophomore Species: Human Club: Board Game Club Unique Magic: Reality Speak—pretty much just how Cursed Speech works but with a world-friendly name. Also it can apply to inanimate objects as well. The power and scope of the command is proportional to the magic required.

Toge gets an overall nicer time in this AU because he doesn't have cursed speech 24/7 and therefore can speak normally. Though the idea of him being able to affect people/bend reality with his words does freak people out. I imagine he had a rough childhood nonetheless, because why not, leading him to be less verbal than he would have been otherwise.

Okkotsu Yuuta

Diasomnia Year: Sophomore Species: Human Club: Board Game Club Unique Magic: Wraith Pact-maker—he can enhance/bolster a ghost's magic/presence through making a link with himself. It has to be mutual, and it can last for any duration of time, although actively using the link does require magic. The ghost in question gains magic and grounding from Yuuta, and Yuuta can use the ghost's magic, including their UM, if applicable. He can have multiple links, but the first and main recipient of this magic is his childhood friend Rika.

Between her longlasting connection with Yuuta and her brutal death, she is a more wraith-like and powerful ghost. Her unique magic was to copy other people's UMs, which Yuuta can use through her in short bursts.

I didn't have space nor solid ideas for unique magics for the Hasaba twins and the Fushiguros, so I didn't do full bios for them. Later, perhaps. All of the girls are sophomores and Megumi is a freshman. Tsumiki and Nanako are sharing their social brain cell and trading stories of stupid things their dragon dads/older brothers/untitled guardians have done, while Megumi is helping budding-gamer Mimiko learn Pokemon strats. I love the idea of them all being friends, maybe after minimal difficulty in the girls' first year, likely on account of the twins being a little Sebek-shaped, in terms of wanting to be The Best Guards for Suguru, etc etc.

Crowley is kind and generous, so he will so kindly and generously give you a hug! All of those feathers though…. You might end up with some in your mouth. He definitely smells odd. Like, not bad, but definitely odd. Also he’s definitely saying some weird shit. You know how he is… Final rating 5/10. It’s not bad, but like— not good either.

You’re lucky Crewel likes you, otherwise he would definitely say no. His hug is very nice, he’ll either pat you on the head or back all dad-like. While hugging him you notice how soft his coat is. You ask him what it’s made of, but he just laughs and sends you on your way... definitely not suspicious. Final rating 8/10. Sir please, what kind of fur is that.

Trein is a father, so he is no stranger to hugs. But his children are all adults now, so he’s a bit out of practice. It’s an oddly formal hug. Stands completely straight and gives you exactly two (2) pats on the back. At least he wears really fancy cologne so he smells nice, and not like an old person at all. Also please refrain from hugging him if you’re allergic to cats. Lucius sheds. Like, a lot. Final rating 6/10. Only a little awkward.

Hugging Vargas might as well be a death sentence. Just look at him. Also wears cologne but not the fancy good smelling kind. He smells like Axe body spray and hair gel. If that’s not enough to take you out, the fact that it feels like he’s actively trying to break your spine definitely will. Final rating 4/10. Dude Chill.

Sam is very weird, very cryptic, and a master salesman. Knows what you want from him before you even walk through the door. Don’t worry about it, his “friends on the other side” told him you’d be here today. Great news, there’s a special promotion going on, RIGHT NOW! With every purchase, you get one free hug from Sam himself! What a deal! The hug itself is nice. He might be weird but he’s a cool guy. Definitely messes up your hair on purpose. Final rating 6/10. The sales pitch lost him some points. Can you be normal for like 3 minutes please

he is an absolute god at video games so even if you're really good, he's better

if you have a gaming setup, he will judge it

you also get the special privileges to hang out in his room

it's messy but cool

and he has access to any game, movie, or show you can imagine

and plenty of snacks

you are one of the few people he doesn't mind hanging out with in person

if you have a problem he'll do his best to help using technology like he will build something new if it helps you

Ignihyde

Idia: Dog

Dang it, he wanted a cat. 

Still, he recognizes dogs are cute.

Let’s call him Cerberus for now. I think it would be a dog breed like a Cretan Hound, Greek Harehound, Molossus of Epirus, all big dog breeds from Greece.

Cerberus is very loyal to Idia and loves to sit by his side when he is playing games.

Scary dog privileges heck yeah. Idia hopes it will keep the extroverted students away from him (spoiler: It doesn’t work)

When working at STYX Cerberus works as a guard dog, not really necessary but Idia likes the feeling.

Cerberus is one of the few reasons why he goes out and takes him on walks. Although Ortho is usually the one taking him out, for Idia’s safety, the last time Cerberus basically dragged him across campus.

Ortho

Unfortunately, Ortho is not able to have a familiar in the traditional way.

He loves Cerberus though!

Usually the one in charge of taking him on walks.

Cerberus is so careful around Ortho even though he is made out of metal.

Ortho has millions of files about taking good care of dogs.

Idia is/was planning on building a familiar for Ortho but the idea makes him sad.

Diasomnia.

One of the best examples of how the bond between mages and familiars works. Some familiars can become really really old.

Silver: Snow Owl

(Reference for chapter 7)

Yeah.

Honestly Silver was probably the youngest when it came to finding his familiar, with the number of animals close to him it was predictable.

He took a nap somewhere and woke up with the owl looking at him.

Lilia felt happy for Silver, although he felt like life was being a bit passive-aggressive with him.

If Silver is sleeping his familiar is somewhere watching over him.

Silver uses the owl to look for Malleus when the latter is nowhere to be found.

Special alarm, aka the familiar will peck Silver until he wakes up.

Sebek: Hawk

The perfect look for a knight, Sebek likes the respectable image they have going on.

LOUD DUO.

“WAKA-SAMA!” *hawk noises.*

Sebek is training it to attack people. Plus he trains with silver to use their familiar as trackers.

One time Sabek almost hits him with a lightning bolt and has been apologizing ever since.

The hawk once sat in one of Malleus’ horns which he found amusing, Sebek not so much.

A bit of an odd case because Malleus passed centuries without a familiar, they found each other rather recently.

He finds it rather interesting how it fits the story of the Witch of Thorns and her crow companion.

Malleus can and will tell you a lecture on what makes ravens and crows different creatures.

A good company, a bit of a one side conversation but the two look happy in the process.

Malleus’ grandmother has a crow familiar too, maybe it’s a Draconia thing.

His familiar also enjoys old builds and statues which Malleus finds endearing.

Sometimes the crow disappears and reappears at random times. Malleus will never admit it but he’s rather bitter at the idea of not being invited.

Loves shiny things and has a nest of things it has collected around the school.

No, the crow doesn’t sit on Mallues’ horns but sometimes you can find it on his shoulder.

That crow is in the top 5 of those who Sebek respects.

The most respected and feared bird in all of the school. Some students are sure there must be something fishy with that bird.

He thought that Ace and Deuce were over-exaggerating. There’s no way that your cooking is worse than Lilia’s! So he invites you to the Lounge just to see what those two were blathering about. This is just an easy way to get two extra workers!

… he looks at you in quiet horror. Ace and Deuce were right?! He thought he’d never see the day. No time for that though, he has a contract to complete… and a kitchen to rebuild, oh Sevens.

He tries to teach you how to cook by following some of the Lounge’s recipes. And despite following the instructions your cooking is still terrifying. How is it this bad?!

Jade and Floyd would usually be making fun of him but they ‘had business’ and left when they heard you would be in the kitchen. Damn those eels for abandoning him!

Oya? Azul is helping you cook? He knows better than to stick around. No, he hasn’t eaten your cooking, but he has seen Ace and Deuce looking worse for wear whenever they had to endure your treats.

He is curious though, why is your cooking like this? Do you do it on purpose? Are you fooling everyone? 

Whenever you do give him snacks you’ve made, he convinces Floyd to try them, saying that they are from the Prefect. Judging from Floyd’s reaction they were as bad as Ace and Deuce sobbed and now he has to deal with a sick Floyd. He does smile to himself, thankful that he didn’t eat them.

He may also keep any of the snacks you make him and use them as a bargaining piece against Azul, Floyd, and anyone avoiding the contracts. Everyone thinks it’s poison, but he knows that it’s nothing more than a friend’s love imbued home-cooking.

Floyd Leech

He should have known better than to eat something offered by Jade, but his Shrimpy made it! How could he refuse! Well, due to that he ends up sick and is now terrorizing everyone because of his horrible mood. There’s no way Shrimpy made that crap!

Well, lucky for him you made him some get well soon food! Oh, so Shrimpy did actually make that crap. He’s not apologizing for hitting Jade the other day though.

When he catches wind that you’ll be in the Lounge’s kitchen he tags along with Jade to get out of there. Yes, he loves pestering you, but he doesn’t want to get sick again because of your cooking and he’s not taking any risks.

In the meantime though, he’ll make sure to pay a special visit to his favourite crab and mackerel and question them about Shrimpy’s cooking!

eventually (name) woke up from a half-yelling riddle and realizes what was going on

they had to block the viewer, call riddle during the livestream and attempt to calm him down

ppl forgot what happened immediately and the chat is full of "omg mod voice reveal!!??1!2!???!!!!"

riddle calmed down after a minute, he then apologized to his viewers

off stream, (name) called him again and apologized for falling asleep and not blocking them immediately, they of course got an earful from riddle but he forgave them anyways

Malleus - Mundane Affairs

As the heir to Briar Valley, Malleus admittedly expected a certain level of respect. Sometimes it came in the form of silent (and in Sebek’s case, loud) admiration. In many cases, the respect was tinged with fearful awe. No matter what end of the spectrum they lie, many, if not all, would agree it was below his station to participate in most mundane activities. 

Still, he found himself more amused than offended following the Ramshackle prefect through the Mystery Shop. Her angry little huffs sounded like a small kitten’s sneezes. “I swear, Sam rearranges his shop every week just to mess with me.” 

Malleus’s already small grin widened. They turned up one aisle, startling an Ignihyde student they encountered. Yuu ignored him, focused entirely on her goal, but Malleus offered a polite nod. The boy sputtered when he returned the nod and quickly fled. Malleus absently noted his fear before dismissing him entirely. “I am sure Sam takes immense pleasure singling you out amongst the student body.” 

“Oh, hush.” Malleus chuckled in response to the prefect’s unapologetic disgruntlement. He followed her to the other side of the store. “There’s only one thing I come here to get every week, and without fail, it’s not in the same place twice.” 

Malleus’s eyes flitted across the wall of candy they passed. His eyes lingered on the green dragon candy for a second longer than the others. “Do stores not usually change the location of their inventory?” 

“In my experience, no,” Yuu huffed. She paused and glared at a small bin of items in the back of the store. Malleus leaned over to examine the items. They were an odd group with seemingly no relation except the bright yellow stickers declaring them as Clearance! “It all stays in relatively the same location except seasonal stuff.” 

Malleus hummed. “Is that why the display at the front of the store reflects current holidays?” 

“Yep.” Yuu turned and walked the length of the store’s back wall. Her kitten sneezes started again. “That’s the stuff Sam wants to sell quick.” 

“Interesting,” Malleus muttered. They encountered another student, this one wearing Savanaclaw’s yellow-orange vest. The beastman’s round ears perked, and Malleus grinned in obvious amusement when the boy released an involuntary hiss. “I have seen an inordinate number of students wearing the headband with large round ears lately. Is that in response to a human holiday?” 

“I actually have no idea what that’s about,” the prefect answered. She sidled past the agitated boy and continued on her quest. The boy tried to buck up at Malleus, but he wasn’t able to maintain eye contact long enough for Malleus to feel intimidated. The boy shuffled off with his slender tail tucked around his ankles. “I think it’s something to do with an anniversary? Ace just made fun of me when I asked.” 

“I will apply further research on the topic later,” Malleus assured. He was curious now that he understood the significance of the odd attire. It certainly wasn’t an anniversary celebrated in Briar Valley. “For now, I will point you in the direction of your desired item.” 

Yuu stopped mid-step, twisting on her heel to face him. “Have you known where it was the entire time?” Malleus’s chuckle made her cheeks balloon. “Hornton!” 

“I have been told it builds character to dedicate a certain amount of work towards a desired goal,” Malleus teased. In truth, he had wanted to spend a bit more time with the prefect after she had caught him strolling across the campus alone and invited him on her shopping trip. It was rude not to make the most of an invitation. “Admittedly, I also assumed you would eventually strike upon the right path and find your desired outcome.” 

“Stop being so elusive and show me where the stupid tuna is.” 

Malleus chuckled and led Yuu back to the front of the store where a display of tuna cans sat beside a small mound of anthropomorphic mouse dolls. He patiently waited for her to debate herself on buying the special edition cans, as they were not the usual brand she bought Grim. Once she had a small stack in her arms, he carefully placed one of the mouse ear headbands on her head, smirking at her disgruntled glare when he refused to take it off her head. He slipped Sam a few extra coins for the headband when they checked out. 

Heir or not, participating in mundane, everyday affairs had its perks. Especially when he was rewarded with a small bag of green dragon candy the next time he ran into the prefect. He saw no issue with accepting a similar invitation from her a few weeks later.

We noticed that some people, specially newer players, might still be having trouble with chapters 6-66 and 6-67 last battles, so I decided to make a post using only R and SR cards.

I built my teams thinking of my SSRs and can’t change them anymore, but the permanent SR/R cards still work pretty well! You can check my reasoning for the characters here.

These are the characters I’ll use for 6-66:

And these for 6-67 :

Chapter 6-66

6-66 is like a preview of what is to come in the next chapter. The battles only last 5 turns and you just need to get a higher damage % by the end of it. They’re pretty simple.

Team 1: Pomefiore

This boss has Critical Up (2 turns) and Damage Taken Down (1 turn, can use twice).

Vil is 5/5, Epel is 5/5, Rook is 10/5, Floyd is 10/10 and Silver is 1/1.

Team 2: Leona & Jamil

This boss has Freeze (3 turns, 1 to 2 targets) and Damage Up (1 turn, can use twice).

Leona is 2/2, Jamil, Kalim and Jack are 1/1 and Ruggie is 1/5.

Team 3: Riddle & Azul

This boss has Burn (3 turns, 1 to 2 targets) and Damage Up (1 turn, can use twice).

Riddle is 5/5, Azul and Jade are 1/1, Idia is 10/10 (sorry, Azul and Jade are low level to compensate though) and Ortho is also 5/5.

Chapter 6-67

This time, you have an infinite number of turns and need to actually kill the enemy.

The buffs and debuffs from before are a lot worse too, so you better be well prepared. Remember that those can and will be used again once the first 5 turns have passed, so it’s better to end the battle fast to avoid them stacking.

Team 1: Pomefiore

This boss has Critical Up (2 turns), Damage Taken Down (2 turns, can use 3 times) and Continuous Heal (2.5k HP for 3 turns).

The levels are the same as before for everyone, Deuce is 5/5.

Team 2: Leona & Jamil

This boss has Freeze (3 turns, whole party), Attack Up (1 turn, can use 3 times) and Attack Down (3 turns, 2 targets, can use 3 times).

Got Leona to 5/5, this Jamil is 7/7 with Kalim buddy Lv.10, Jack is still 1/1, Ruggie and Kalim are 5/5.

Team 3: Riddle & Azul

This boss has Burn (3 turns, 1 to 2 targets), Damage Up (3 turns, can use twice) and Attack Up (1 turn, can use twice).

All levels are the same as before. I could probably do the previous version with PE Idia Lv.60 5/5, but not this one.

Chapter 6-67 - Team 1 bonus:

If you’re curious, I got Lab Silver’s magic to 5/5, my Beans Vil is completely maxed and Chef Deuce is Lv.60 magic 5/5
