Here's a list (in no particular order) of the various headcanons/theories I imagine as true in my particular fanfic esc Pokémon world.

Penny is trans (and gay but that's practically canon anyway).

Gyarados can only fly if they evolved by climbing a waterfall.

Every region with a League has a Chairman, not just Galar and Paldea.

Charles Goodshow is president of the Pokémon League and thus president of the world (more or less).

Geeta is a bad champion because she was never supposed to be. Something bad happened to the old one forcing her to take the position. That's also why she's a bad boss: she's as overworked as Larry. The reason she's so interested in Nemona and the player is because she's trying to guarantee a new champion to take her spot.

Mina and Ilima's types are switched. Mina is Normal and Ilima is Fairy.

Ash ages normally in universe and is around 19 by series end.

Billy and O'nare are not lovers/partners. Billy is O'nare's bodyguard because he's wearing karate gi.

O'nare is Nemona's mother.

Nemona has some form of impairment (likely asthma) which hinders her ability to preform physical activity.

Guzma is 21 and Native American

Plumeria is 19 and of Chinese descent

Gladion is 13

Mohn is 41

Kukui is 32

Hau is 11

Ilima is 13 and half White, half Asian

Lana is 12 and White

Mallow is 14 and half Native American, half Asian

Kiawe is 18 and African-American

Originally, Molayne was going to have Sophocles's role, and he's 32, and since they're cousins, both are White

Acerola is 11 and half White, half Native American

Mina is 17 and half Asian, half White

A top tier, yet underrated anime trope I think:

The ‘Prince’ archetype in which they succeed at everything flawlessly, they have this picture perfect life and self, an utterly charming image, and they know it. They don’t even have a bad personality, on top of being at the top, they go out of their way to be kind and considerate of everyone (whether on purpose or manufactured)
