Looking back on it...

I honestly think I dislike Hypno's Lullaby more than Mario Madness

Like, don't get me wrong, I hate both of these mods, but as sick as the ladder of these two were, it kept the focus moslty on BF and GF...only to stab them in the back and miss the whole point of them but I digress

Lullaby not only unceremoniously axed the two characters I cared most for here, but shunted them off to the side, to focus on characters I couldn't care less about.

And the fact it's one of the very, very few mods to put GF in the spotlight only to do that to her pisses me off to no end.

Oh yeah, and thanks for that Lullaby GF design, which every time I see someone draw her in that outfit, bc tbf, it's a nice outfit, I get reminded of that mod and just...really hate everything for a while

I am fucking ecstatic over the ace attorney announcement. its a re-release of 2 spin off games, with one of them being PORTED TO ENGLISH FOR THE FIRST TIME!!! once its released, every ace attorney game (excluding the crossovers) will have modern re-releases and be in english, so HOPEFULLY it means they're working on ace attorney 7!!!! (it's been like 9 years since a new mainline ace attorney game, and 7 years since any new game includ. spinoffs)

I am really sad about tomodachi life though, I love it and I still play it on my 3ds!! (I've had the same one since like 2015 it still works lol) I wish they'd make a new one, hopefully with gay people, more gender options and customisations, but keep the glitter room I love it

...I'm so devastated about the no Tomodachi Life 😔 (/jk im totally fine about it I swear) - I lost my original game bc my old 2DS (yes I was one of those) broke FOREVER ago and I brought a Switch rather than another DS so I had to give my games away </3 BUT I semi-recently brought a 3DS and modded it & got Tomodachi Life back so I guess I'll keep playing that one - I'm just a LITTLE salty becuase they ported Miitopia?? (which do NOT get me wrong I LOVE that game I completed the 3DS one in like a day or 2 after I got it) and gave us SO much new customizable abilities that would be Perfect for Tomodachi Life and then they just continue to deny us :( *SIGH* Oh Well 😔

well jenkins won my poll from a while ago so i guess its my time to talk about jenkins. lemme kinda go back to the beginning about it.

So, Season 12 is when i started being a blaseball fan. I officially on the site roll up to the canada moist talkers on the election sunday that the big siesta starts so im out here like what the fuck is going on while my pal corvoda is a decent bit more interested than i am at that point but i digress.

I miss the coffee cup and related events and i finally start showing my face in the discord, i think i got started on jenkins because i had stumbled across some of the blaseball rp twitters and wanted to join in, so i picked a blaseball player who didn't have a twitter at the time which was jesús and jenkins and i picked jenkins.

there is a message specifically telling me that jenkins doesnt get much love compared to other players on the team and lemme tell you, i took that PERSONALLY.

the first couple things i learned about jenkins was assorted stuff from their wiki. Flaming eye, gamer, and from greer's wiki i think i learned that jenkins and greer were.... something. relationship something.

after a while, i took a crack at making a jenkins interp that combined two other interps i had seen, big lizardy jenkins and mostly humanoid jenkins and ended up with salamander jenkins, eventually switching over to leopard gecko jenkins.

the thing that both entertained me and made me sad is that nothing ever really happened to jenkins. this player who i loved so much didnt recieve a stat buff till late expansion, despite being active with the same stat total since s4 election. sure they got crows mod but rarely did they play in bird weather just cuz of how weather works.

if i can be salty a little bit, i've always had a weird relationship with greer because of how much we focus on her. i know buff greer was funny and it definitely is super funny dont get me wrong but jenkins was a great pitcher until the stat creep hit. we still has to spend several elections on greer because she was a fan favourite. i feel in my heart that if it had been jenkins in that feedback there probably wouldnt have been as much of a push to get them back and idk that always scared me.

its not that jenkins was truly irredeemably bad at the time but compared to a player like greer? if we had to choose between greer or jenkins in something i know greer is winning and that does weird things to my brain sometimes idk i will digress again

jenkins being an active player vs kennedy trevino tyvi who are (were, in tyvi's case) fuckin dead is a wierd space to be in too. especially now that jenkins is on the tacos in new era i rotate between happiness that the tacos like them and deathly fear that theyre going to misconstrue something about them because jenkins is just so specifically Talkers-fied that you really had to be there for the jenkins conversations to understand jenkins' vibes. Its one of those things that like, jenkins was an s1 talker, they had all this time on the team so you just Got the vibes.

my sad thing about jenkins on the tacos? i feel like i cant talk about them anymore. my jenkins is talkers jenkins and i dont know the tacos and i am afraid. this is not my jenkins good anymore this is a whole other jenkins now and i think.... thats really the thing thats fucking me up about this new era. but at least jenkins is doing okay last i checked.

uhhhh lemme actually say some fun headcanons here... Jenkins has a math related degree in Orb Studies and can determine the exact salt content in food just by licking it. they eventually get a pet gecko named Adkins.

Summary: You've been burying your feeling for Alex for a while now, using other people to try to stop your little crush on your best friend. When you've finally gotten feelings for somebody who's not him, it goes up in flames. But no matter what, Alex has your back. Maybe he is the right choice after all.

Author's note: Hi 💜 anon! Glad to see you back! Writing serious Quackity is one of my favorite things to write. I loved both ideas so much that I'm going to write both of them! I hope you're doing well though, the talking stage is very frustrating at times.

Salty tears fell from your glossy eyes. Was it safe driving at night while crying? Probably not but you needed comfort and there was only one person who could give it to you right now. You drove over to Quackity's house in a bit of a rush. You didn't even bother to text him that you were on your way. You parked outside his house and took a deep breath and slowly exited your car. Maybe you were being dramatic. You stopped at his door and wiped your tears before knocking on it.

You waited silently, playing with the hem of your comfort sweater. The door opened and there stood Alex. He was wearing a casual hoodie and his famous beanie was off. You looked at him and nervously smiled. He saw how sad you looked and immediately let you in. He led you to his couch and quickly went to the kitchen. You sat down slowly and looked around. The bubbling feeling of anxiety didn't leave your stomach, making you feel sick. You had been ignoring Alex for a while now, pretending to be busy with your personal life.

Honestly, you had fallen in love with your good friend. He was everything you wanted and more. You couldn't have him though. Alex was someone you considered your best friend and you couldn't ruin that connection the two of you created. You couldn't imagine your life without him. He came back with a glass of water and some of your favorite snacks. He still had some on hand for whenever you came back to him. Alex sat next to you and patiently waited for you to begin talking. You took a small sip of the water and cleared your throat.

"So, I was talking to this guy and...I found out he's actually in a relationship." A twinge of pain flashed on Alex's face before returning to a more neutral look. "I'm sorry for being so distant." You muttered, leaning back onto the couch. "I've just been...going through some stuff." Alex nodded and scooted closer to you. "It's okay. I'm glad you're like...alive? I wanted to visit you but I didn't want to bother you." God, you missed him. Being in his presence calmed you more than you were mentally ready for. Part of you wanted to pull away, hide from him again and pretend to be strangers.

The other part of you wanted to hug him, fully embrace your love for him and confess, right there and then. These two sides were clashing together, messing with your brain. You could feel yourself get overstimulated by the cluster of thoughts and sighed. "I missed you." You said, slowly grabbing one of the snacks from the table. "I missed this," Alex said, turning his entire body to look at you. You ate gradually and felt yourself scoot closer to him. "Now looking back. I was using that guy a little." Alex turned his head to the side, eyes begging you to continue. "At first...I was talking to him to like...get over somebody I had a crush on. I ended up falling for the guy while still having my crush. It's a bunch of complicated bullshit." Alex nodded before rubbing your shoulder affectionately after noticing how physically tense you were. "I'm just...confused? Lost? Mad at myself? I don't know what to do."

"I think," Alex started, choosing his words carefully. "You should follow your heart. You should confess to your crush instead of putting yourself through this. It's hurting you." You sighed and put your snack down. "I'll ruin my friendship with them. I can't do that-" "Yes you can. You can do this and do you want to know why? It's because as long as you're confident and put your full self into it, you'll be able to do it." God how you wished to be as confident as Alex right now. "You want me to help you figure out what to say?" You shook your head and grabbed your phone.

"I'll call him and tell him. Can you hold my hand...please?" Alex smiled and nodded, taking your hand. He squeezed it tightly and smiled. You stared at your contact list, thumb hovering over Alex's contact. Fuck it. You clicked on his contact and placed the ringing phone up to your ear. Alex's phone went off. He squeezed your hand before getting it from the kitchen. You inhaled when he answered. "Hello?" He asked, confused. "Hi, Alex. I was told by someone to confess to my crush so here I am. Confessing to my crush. I like you, Alex. I..I've liked you for a while now. I was scared...terrified of ruining our friendship over this silly little crush." There was a beat of silence. "I like you too. I've liked you ever since you first spent the night at my house because you were too tired to make the drive to your place." It felt like the weight of the world had finally been lifted off your shoulders.

Alex returned to the living room and sat down across from you, phone still to your ear. "Do...do you want to be my girlfriend?" He asked, staring deep into your eyes. You smiled softly and nodded. "I'd love to."

i had an fp (im still trying to get over btw) i feel like shes not being understanding at all? she knows i have bpd and one time i got angry at her bc she was being salty with me for no reasons and i said a few things that were sort of unnecessary but the way she is treating me after that is a little too much compared to what i told her? this happened a few months ago btw and shes still acting like shit with me just bc of that

at this point she's literally punishing me oml😭

she is diagnosed with something i won't be mentioning and was always understanding of her case but whenever i overthink and talk to her ab it she gets upset she doesnt take my feelings in consideration at all knowing that she knows quite a lot ab bpd and i told her ab her being my fp

after that we took a break from talking to each other and went back to talking again but i'm starting to realize how much the friendship is becoming toxic??? yesterday i saw something she said and it made me overthink a lot to the point where i split so i ask her ab it and guess what? she was salty... again! like you know i cant control my overthinking

anyways, it feels like shes being forced to talk to me and not because she actually enjoys talking to me.

It sounds like you’re in a really tough situation and I can empathize with friends being toxic. I think cutting it off with her is a great idea, and that was going to be my advice, but it looks like you already know that it’s toxic and you want to get out of it, which is great! I’m happy that you can see that it’s a toxic relationship and you want to look out for your own mental health and cut her off.

There are a few ways you can go about cutting off someone who’s toxic. One way is to approach her and straight-up tell her how you’re feeling, if you think it would help her understand where you’re coming from. But considering she hasn’t been very understanding so far, if it were me, I wouldn’t go this route.

What you could also do isn’t as nice, but if you feel like she’s talking to you only because you think she feels like she has to, then what if you stop reaching out to her, and let her come to you instead? Maybe she won’t text you first, and the relationship will fizzle out. However, if she does text you first, then at least you know that she’s trying to put in a little bit of effort, and she could be receptive if you were to talk to her about how it makes you feel when she gets salty at you all because you ask for clarification. And then at that point, you’d have an opportunity to explain that you don’t want to cause tension between the two of you, and ask if she thinks another break would be helpful.

That’s all I’ve really got (I’ve done both of these methods, and they do work, to a degree. It depends on you and it depends on the person you’re breaking it off with).

u know so far ive seen sambucky shippers as only somewhat like applogetic for their ship like ya we know that Bucky x Sarah or Bucky x that girl in first ep is good representation and is far more likely to be canon and Sam x Bucky never will be cuz its gay but Sam x Bucky is our otp and we still like it more though we not mad at Bucky x Sarah

Like on the one hand i get it i see this most from older fans and its likely because they don't want to hype up fans especially younger fans for a ship that will never happen because homophobia and dont want ship wars.

But this ship doesn't need 500 disclaimers for why you are shipping it over something that more likely to be canon. You dont have to be so hessitant about your passion. You can be passionate about the ship mourn that its not canon. Be salty about how much mcu and media in general panders to the sensitivity of homophobes wish it was Sam who Bucky was flirting with and still have that not be shitting on other ships.

And honestly older fans know this is a thing for all fandoms that your gay and lesbian ship im a mainstream thing not gonna be canon. But there's this weird hessitation to be openly passionate about this ship when thats not true for other ships. Im not sure if i can accurately describe it and im not sure why this is the case.

Idk where it started, but this shift of needing to present a thesis about why you ship two characters is ridiculous. The only time you should be questioned is when there are moral issues in your ship (adults with kids, relatives with relatives, etc.). Yes, we will all learn not to get our hopes up about ships being canonized when it’s between two people of the same gender, but that doesn’t mean you can’t ship it. Just don’t go harassing people over why yours should be canon over theirs. (Not saying this is a problem with those shippers.)

hey, i just wanted to say im in the tad discord and i havent been there long and mostly lurk but im sorry for what you and your friends went thru. I havent gone thru it myself, but ive always felt kind of uncomfortable there and didnt realise why until i saw you speak up and did digging. Bc everyone is always saying theyre "like family" and "love each other" to the point it seems false, and that if i also wasnt saying that all the time - bc no i dont think a gc of strangers is family - then there was no point in talking. I hadnt heard the term 'toxic positivity' until today but thats exactly right, and the reason why im much more comfortable in other servers where ppl actually talk and dont pretend to be perfect. 1/6

Theyre so cliquey. I thought it was just me being too introverted to really throw myself in and get involved, but ive been there for a few months and ive seen other new ppl throw themselves in and get ignored or even still its just the same handful of people who get "its loving X hours". 2/6

I wasnt involved with the dhd in any way but i did see someone point out a minor flaw and everyone banded against them. And the auction just added to the falsness, ppl put in donations of over 6k (which is good for the charity ofc) but it was clearly for the concert, ppl wouldnt have donated as much otherwise. And if anyone suggested that ppl donated for the band and not the charity mods quickly shut them down by saying it was all out of the good of everyones hearts. Like, its okay if its for the band? Stop pretending youre pure angels?? 3/6

Ive seen several instances where people have shown a tweet they @'d the band in. Completely innocuous ones that any band or public figure would recieve nor feel pressured by, such as options for merch or just 'come back to the server lmao'. These people have then been pretty much shamed for doing so, saying that its rude to ask too much from the band, we should be grateful for what they give us. Its never outright said to delete the tweets, but its clearly implied, and they delete the completely innocent tweets. Meanwhile, mods/sweeps are in their actual dms, quite frequently (even if they get no reply) but this isnt pressuring at all/asking too much?? 4/6

The other day cookie got salty over people joining the server for the amas and people being inactive and wants to delete users who dont regularly take part in conversation or "make an effort to make friends" and several people jumped on board with the idea. Someone spoke out that they mostly lurk and sometimes feel like theyre arent welcome and they got an "of course youre welcome, everyone is" kind of response, but clearly not if you want to delete members, and ive certainly always felt at the edge of a circle. 5/6

As i said, ive not seen what you went through beyond what digging i did today, been targeted or known someone who has, and youre probably aware of everything ive said already but i finally saw people whove also not had the best experience everyone else claims to have on the server and i wanted to get it off my chest as its been bothering me for a while, thanks for reading my rant feel free to ignore lmao. 6/6

thanks anon for this! i’ve actually not been aware of a lot of stuff after the first purge because it was around then I decided to not waste my time with the server. But you’re absolutely right, the toxic positivity/cliquey-ness/gaslighting is an absolutely shit way of running a server, let alone a place that claims to be a “family”. I’ve been moderating a Les Miserables server (Sewers of Paris) for 4 years now and in those FOUR YEARS there has NEVER been anything like this.

The night was still young aa the red eclipse slowly approaching. The raven haired girl with spectacles, Auniro who is dressed in a dark blue gown, was at the courtyard, anticipating the red eclipse to come quickly to end the ball.

"Why are you on your own, angelfish, are you not going back inside the ball?" Her dorm leader, Azul, dressed in a dashing white suit, slowly approaching her figure. "I just like how quiet the courtyard is compared to the ballroom" Auniro answered which made Azul chuckled. "Now don't be such a loner, I am right here for you now" He assured and flashed his signature smile. "Mmmmm, okay thats good, atleast I wont be too lonely" she commented and hugged herself.

"Here" Azul spoke and puts his blazer around Auniro's bare shoulders. Due to how big the blazer is compared to her, the girl snuggled into the blazer and felt the warmth of its owner. Little did she know that Azul has a tiny blush on his face because of her actions that is deemed as adorable to him.

"Do you have any clue what the red eclipse mean?" Azul asked as he sat down on a bench, patting the empty spot next to usher Auniro to sit next to him which she obliged to do so. "Yeah, this ball happens when the ballroom becomes pitch black once the red eclipse arrives. If someone were to kiss another person, they will become soulmates until their next life" she explained with a glazed look.

While Auniro was looking down at the ground, Azul had noticed that by a few seconds, the red eclipse will come up. He sighed and immediately formulated a plan to kiss the person he truly felt for.

"Are you not interested with its tradition? I thought you're a romantic person"

"The only romantic thing Im into is angst. I'm a sucker for one-sided love. I get salty but I really enjoy the feeling of being in pain because of love"

"But do you enjoy the pleasure of being in love?"

Auniro quickly looked at him with a quizzical look and stood up. "What the hell are you saying?? That sounds so dir-" Before Auniro could finish her sentence, a gloved hand had blocked her vision as she felt a tall figure, loomed over her from behind.

Her dorm leader had lifted up her left hand and pressed a kiss ontop of her palm. Auniro flinched from the sudden contact but stayed still, thoughts comes running around her mind in the situation shes in.

"A-azul?!" She squeaked out his name and the said person pulled away from her petite figure. Auniro looked at him with a flushed face which made Azul kept a straight face at her reaction. "You missed the eclipse," Azul smirked which snapped the girl out of her trance.

"Y-YOU-!!!" She stuttered as her whole body is shaken. "W-why did you that for!? Nakakahiya yun! Ano mangyari kung nakita tayo hah!?" She scolded him to the process she code switched into her native tongue while gently smacking Azul in the arm.

Azul tried to keep a straight face but bursted into laughter at the petite girl who is puffing out her cheeks as a way of showing irritation. "I could not help it~, it was a perfect opportunity to fluster the girl who I must look after for" Azul confessed and patted her head like she's a child.

"But don't you think that you should save the kiss for someone else? Thanks for the jacket" Auniro asked and gives Azul's blazer, leaving the owner confused. "I already did" he answered with a closed eye smile. The girl has an indifferent look and proceeded to walk away after his response.

"I'll go back inside, its a getting too cold"

Azul dropped his smooth facade and sighed. He wondered if shes finally accepted him....or is still playing the hard to get game by being aloof and indifferent towards his moves.

"Oh Auniro....when will you stop pushing me away?" The man thought as he followed her back inside.

oooh boy im about to step on some toes but: I find Piper and Cait annoying, for some reason. To be honest I’m still salty about Fallout 4 in general so that colours my perception of them, but thems the opinions. It’s not so much the character’s themselves that are the issue, it’s just that the weird transactional romances, the fact that you do their personal quest once and they basically become repetitive robots...I just don’t see the big deal over them. I haven’t finished fallout 4 so maybe they’ll grow on me, but currently I just kinda ignore the whole game until I can mod it to my liking. Preston, if you disable his repetitive quests or whatever, is more likeable than some people give him credit for, but the weird “I’ve known you for 5 minutes please be general” irked me and will continue to irk me until I die Codsworth and Valentine are the best companions in the whole game. I will not accept criticism Danse and by extension the entire BoH aren’t fascist, or racist. I think only a fringe tumblr group believe this, but it’s a stupid believe. Honestly, it’s fans like that that sour the fandom experience for everyone. That sort of entitlement and lack of understanding is exactly why I have issues in just handing over this blog to someone I don’t know; I shudder to think what would happen to it in the hands of people like that. Thalia asks Jeremy and Mr Heere if she can move into their house because she has an abusive father she wants to get away from, they say yes and now she lives with them. Sometime after this Thalia pairs up with Madeline.

When everyone wakes up the next day you have some cute shipping junk between some of the couples since their SO was nearly killed. Chloe and Jeremy realise they both don’t hate each other because they actually TALK TO EACH OTHER TO FIGURE SHIT OUT.

Jeremy just tells him there’s nothing wrong and Dustin should go help, Chloe.
