Create a Port Forwarding profile and name it WeServer.
Once you are in, go to Advanced Option and look for the Port Forwarding.
IMESSAGE DOWNLOAD ON PC LAPTOP PASSWORD
Type in Admin both for username and password or check the back of your router as this information is usually placed there.
For common router default gateway, try 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 and hit Enter.
IMESSAGE DOWNLOAD ON PC LAPTOP MANUAL
Since every router has a different default gateway, you will need to check your router’s manual to check.
For public IP address, you should be able to access your router’s web UI or settings page using your browser.
Type it in when you log in to WeMessage along with your Apple account. On the IPv4 Address, that is your Mac’s private IP address.
For Private IP address, go to System Preferences> Network> Open Network Preferences> Advanced> TCP/IP.
If you choose a public IP address, you can use WeMessage wherever you are as long as you have an internet connection or data connection.
The private IP address is only used for when you only want to utilize WeMessage inside your home or on your WiFi network only.
Depending on how you want to use WeMessage, there are two ways to choose from: The private and public IP address.
Also, your real iMessage email address and the new password you created earlier for the WeServer.
After the installation, the WeMessage app will ask for the IP address from the WeServer on your Mac.
To do this, open the Play Store and search for the WeMessage app.
IMESSAGE DOWNLOAD ON PC LAPTOP INSTALL
After you install an Android emulator, install the WeMessage. Now, this is the part where you run Android apps on Windows and install an Android emulator like BlueStacks.Use anything else like your name with added numbers for your security. Use the same email that you use on the official iMessage but never use the same password. After you give it permission, the terminal will ask you to enter your iMessage email and password. If you see a pop-up window that says Unidentified Developer, just click Open. There will be a run-command file so double-click on it to run the script for running the WeServer in Terminal. When the download finishes, extract the ZIP file.Choose “ Download for Mac” to get the latest version. This time download WeServer on your Mac from its official site.
IMESSAGE DOWNLOAD ON PC LAPTOP PLUS
Now click the plus sign to add Terminal to the list and make sure it is checked. If not, there is a lock icon at the lowest left bottom of the box. There should be a list that shows the Terminal. Then click on Privacy and look for the Accessibility option on the left side of the box. On your Mac’s System Preferences, go to Security and Privacy.
IMESSAGE DOWNLOAD ON PC LAPTOP FOR MAC
On the Oracle site’s download page, make sure to choose the file that ends in DMG extension because that is the file that works for Mac devices.
If there is none, you should get one from Oracle (Java) website.
First is to make sure that your Mac has a Java Development Kit installed.
Download WeMessage Nameĭownload BlueStacks Installer Install on Mac But for now, this method works with only the basic necessities from iMessage app. Or at least just until the developer hit a wall and a dead-end. And please also note that because this method is not fully supported by Apple, there is a high chance that this will only work for some period of time. This method will need a Mac with you for this to work.
From there, you can search for the iMessage and install it.
When you finally enter the main desktop that looks a bit familiar to you, find the App Store.
For your first-time use, the emulator will ask your Apple account information to log in.
Once you finish the installation, you can then go to the shortcut from the desktop and click on it to launch the iPadian emulator.
You can create a new folder or follow the default installation prompts of Windows that lead to the Program Files folder. After the download finishes, run the installer and choose where you want the app installed on your Windows PC. Or you can use this direct link to download a copy of the iPadian installer. All you have to do is use your Windows web browser and search for the iPadian iOS emulator to run iOS apps.

Assorted Nekoma Headcanons that I've collected throughout the week
Tora and Tanaka have the most competitive games of iMessage 8-ball, they play before practice and it gets so heated that people in their respective locker rooms start crowding around to watch (more for their reactions than the actual game). Eventually the first years start placing bets, Teshiro typically wins while Lev always loses.
Kenma and Fukunaga are roomates in college and Kenma always returns from class to something baffling going on. Fukunaga's cooking full-course meals on his bed with nothing but a rice cooker, he's teaching himself to juggle, one day Kenma comes back and their room has been turned into a giant ball pit. Fukunaga never acknowleges any of it and Kenma gets used to it by their second semester— he can't even complain cause he stays up till 5am every night on his PC.
This is also around the time Kenma starts streaming. Fukunaga appears in the bg sometimes as Kodzuken's mysterious roommate who brings him food, they love him cause its the only thing keeping Kenma from a diet of instant ramen and hot pockets (how is this guy making restaurant-level flank steak in a dorm?? Is that a whole lobster what the fuck?). Both of them end up dropping out, Kenma because his streaming career started to take off and Fukunaga to pursue comedy
Kuroo loves team bonding exercises and is always planning weekend trips or activities to do before practice. One day he makes them do trust falls and Yaku gets paired with Lev, who doesn't announce when he's gonna fall and crushes the poor dude. Cue the arguing.
Sometimes they do board game night at Kuroo's house. Kenma almost always wins (sometimes Teshiro or Kai sneak one in) and Tora usually ends up flipping the board.
Tora sees Lev doing push ups with Yaku on his back and insists that he can do that too. He gets Fukunaga to help but fails to realize that Fukunaga is significantly bigger than Yaku. He pulls it off but is winded during warm-ups and Kuroo tells him off.
Since Kai becomes an arbourist I think he'd help out with the school garden. He brings bouquets on people's birthdays and other special occasions, and he takes care of a mini bonsai tree in the club room that they've dubbed an honorary teammate
Tora is super reckless with bets, Shibayama and Inuoka have learned to take advantage of this. They've won a lot of food.
Fukunaga is captain in their 3rd year for a similar reason to Yamaguchi— he's the only one of the three who can manage the other two. If Tora or Kenma was captain the other wouldn't listen, plus Kenma wouldn't take up a roll with so much responsibillity and Tora would get into fights with the refs. Tora is vice captain and does most of the yelling. When Fukunaga needs to get someone's attention/shut them up he just spikes balls at them with his perfect aim (or pulls out the ole water bucket).
Teshiro's the captain for the first years with Inuoka as vice and Lev as the ace
Shibayama is sorta nosy and goes to Kai for his gossip cause Kai sees all.

The US Department of Justice had long been expected to file an antitrust lawsuit against Apple. But when the suit arrived Thursday, it came with surprising ferocity.
In a press conference, attorney general Merrick Garland noted that Apple controlled more than 70 percent of the country’s smartphone market, saying the company used that outsize power to control developers and consumers and squeeze more revenue out of them.
The suit and messaging from the DOJ and 15 states and the District of Columbia joining it take aim at Apple’s most prized asset—the iPhone—and position the case as a fight for the future of technology. The suit argues that Apple rose to its current power thanks in part to the 1998 antitrust case against Microsoft, and that another milestone antitrust correction is needed to allow future innovation to continue.
Like the Microsoft case, the suit against Apple is “really dynamic and forward looking,” says John Newman, a law professor at the University of Miami. “It's not necessarily about Apple seeing direct competitors,” he says. “It's more about them trying to grab the territory you would need if you were going to even try to compete against Apple.”
Antitrust action in the tech industry has been a focus of the Biden administration’s agenda, which has seen suits brought against both Amazon and Google by the DOJ and the Federal Trade Commission. “This case demonstrates why we must reinvigorate competition policy and establish clear rules of the road for Big Tech platforms,” Democratic senator Amy Klobuchar told WIRED in a statement.
Rebecca Hall Allensworth, a law professor at Vanderbilt University, says that though the government almost always faces an uphill battle in antitrust cases, the Apple case appears relatively solid. “It's a lot stronger than the FTC Amazon monopolization lawsuit from last year,” she says. “And yet, it's very hard to win antitrust cases.”
In a statement, Apple spokesperson Fred Sainz said that the lawsuit “threatens who we are and the principles that set Apple products apart in fiercely competitive markets,” including the way its products work “seamlessly” together and “protect people’s privacy and security.”
Apple has long argued that keeping its mobile operating system, app store, and other services closed offers greater security and safety for customers. But Newman says that the DOJ complaint indicates that Apple doesn't enforce these policies consistently as would make sense if the goal was to protect users.
“Instead [Apple] heavily targets the types of app developers that pose the biggest competitive threat to Apple,” Newman says. The DOJ alleges that restrictions Apple places on iMessage, Apple Wallet, and other products and features create barriers that deter or even penalize people who may switch to cheaper options.
History Repeating
The antitrust case against Microsoft in the late 1990s accused the company of illegally forcing PC manufacturers and others to favor its web browser Internet Explorer. It is widely credited with causing the company to be slow to embrace the web, falling behind a wave of startups including Google and Amazon that grew into giants by making web services useful and lucrative.
When asked about the threat the new antitrust lawsuit might pose to Apple’s business, a DOJ official noted that “there are actually examples where companies, after having been charged and had to change business practices because they violated the antitrust laws in the long run, end up being more valuable than they were before.” Microsoft, thanks to its success in cloud services and more recently AI, is now the most valuable company in the world.
The Department of Justice said Thursday that any potential remedy was on the table for Apple—implying that even breaking up the company is a possibility. But Allensworth says it is unlikely the government would pursue that outcome. The proposed remedies could more likely force Apple to change its "technological and contractual restrictions on app development, and on interoperability with other phones,” she says. “That is something that could be very meaningful, if that remedy were fully realized and overseen in a good way. But it still leaves Apple basically in control of the ecosystem,” Allensworth says.
Paul Swanson, antitrust partner at the law firm Holland & Hart, sees potential difficulties ahead for the suit. “They're alleging that Apple is excluding competition in the smartphone market by making their products stickier, by making it very attractive to stay within their ecosystem. And the way that Apple does that, according to the DOJ, is that it doesn't cooperate nicely with other companies,” he says. But Swanson says antitrust laws don’t generally require companies to work with others. “A business doesn't violate antitrust laws by terminating or refusing to work with another business.”
This is not the first antitrust case against Apple. In 2020, Epic Games filed a lawsuit against the company, accusing it of anticompetitive behavior, after being kicked off the App Store for offering a version of the Fortnite game that circumvented the Apple’s steep 30 percent fees for in-app purchases. Epic lost the case in the lower courts, and in January the Supreme Court declined to hear the appeal—and Apple announced it would levy a new app store fee on developers.
Newman notes that the government seems to have kept a close eye on that case in constructing the suit launched Thursday. The case was filed in the Third Circuit Court in New Jersey, rather than the Ninth Circuit Court, which includes California. He predicts it will ultimately end up before the Supreme Court. “I think this one's probably going all the way,” Newman says.

I said I would be posting more now that I have a laptop upstairs, and I will. I haven't posted much yet because I was still getting used to the keyboard and trying to get to a more comfortable typing speed that didn't frustrate me.
I actually bought a MacBook Air. I borrowed some money from my dad that I will be paying back over time. It's my first Apple product if you don't count the iPhone I got for my parents. It's a wonderful computer. The M1 chip is super zippy. Battery life is amazing. My former 12 year old laptop lasted about 2 hours per charge. This thing lasts me basically all day. The construction is very impressive. The aluminum body feels very sturdy. The screen is beautiful and gets way brighter than I need. And while they don't have any bass, I can't believe how good these tiny laptop speakers sound. My old laptop sounded like a super quiet AM radio. This thing hasn't gotten even mildly warm yet (though I am not rendering video or anything). It is very light. I feel comfortable taking it with me around the house if I need to. The old laptop was about 12 pounds and I think this is 2.75 or so.
Apple just makes good laptops. They always have, though they weren't always a great value. But I think the M1/M2 models are actually competitively priced as long as you don't get too many upgrades. The upgrade prices are still bonkers.
The OS has taken some getting used to. But for basic functions it's fine. I haven't had any trouble navigating. And the search function is much better than Windows. As is the aesthetics.
I don't really get into those technology pissing contests. I considered a Windows laptop, but there were just so many PC laptop choices and I was overwhelmed with the research required to find a good one. Not only can quality vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, but it can also vary from model to model. There are shitty Dells and fantastic Dells. I just didn't have the energy to figure out which was which. But I knew the new M1 Macs were all well reviewed and would serve my needs. So, that's what I got.
One bonus is that all of my friends are on iPhones and so now I can use iMessage and not turn into a dreaded green bubble. I still think Apple should make texting with android not crappy, but I'm happy to have a less frustrating way to communicate with my friends until that happens. If it ever does. (C'mon Europe, force Apple to fix that!)
Choosing tech these days is just about your needs and preferences. Brand loyalty is bullshit. All of the companies basically suck as far as business practices. Google might even be eviler these days. Microsoft has always been shit. And Dell has some of the worst customer service around. In this particular instance, Apple was the least evil choice for my needs and preferences. And anytime I need to do something only a PC can handle, I can just pop downstairs and use my desktop machine.
My only complaint so far is that I don't like how the scroll wheel functions with my bluetooth mouse. I like to scroll 3 lines at a time and Apple has this weird scroll acceleration feature that scrolls really slow at first and then crazy fast the more you scroll. I think there is a workaround but I haven't had the time to figure it out yet.
I'm excited to test out Photoshop, as I've heard the M1 version is about 50% faster. I just haven't had the energy to edit any photos recently.
So, that's my Apple experience so far. It's a good computer that I hope will last for many years. I also like that they maintain decent resale value if I need something different down the line.

What does cloning a website means?
To make a copy
Cloning a website means copying or modifying the design or script of an existing website to create a new website. Website cloning allows a designer to create a website without writing scripts from scratch.

ID Selector – It selects the id attribute of an element. ID is always unique, in the code. So, it is used to target and apply design to a specific or a unique element.
Class Selector - It selects the class attribute of an element. Unlike ID selector class selectors can be same of many elements.
Universal Selector – It selects all the elements of the webpage, and apply changes to it.

Random Crud: Digital Stickers
(I feel like I'm using Tumblr wrong, but I don't know how to use it correctly.)
This post is mainly to share some digital stickers I made a couple years ago. Feel free to share them around, just don't claim them as yours, or use them for things related to AI. You can find all the stickers at the bottom of the post (Hopefully).
Anyways, years ago at this point, a friend gave me an old iPhone 6S Plus, to help me get used to IOS so I could help people when had issues with it, since I'm a tech person (Certified PC Pro in fact!) and thus enjoy helping people with their tech issues.
However, I discovered something absolutely amazing on it! Apps can give you stickers to use in iMessage!!!! I absolutely loved the idea of sending someone a sticker as a reply, instead of a typical text. Unfortunately, the only person I had on iMessage was the friend who gave me the iPhone, but that didn't stop me!
Sticker Series 1!
Operation: Sticker!
(I'm 80% sure this is actually what I called it.) I decided to make some stickers of my characters! Notably, the main characters from Multiverse Heroes, those being: Carrot Man, Potato Man, Skizzy, and Junk-Watt.
Inspired by the stickers from "Sky: Children of the Light", which looked like they were drawn with a crayon or something, I made low resolution stickers, with a crayon brush, and a white outline.
The first sticker I did, was Carrot Man in the typical pose I drew him in at the time, before using that as a template for the rest of his stickers. For some reason, I had the bright idea of making every character have the same set of expressions, though I ended up getting lazy, causing Carrot Man and Potato Man to have more stickers than the rest.
As much as I'd love to share these, there's over 30 stickers in the first series alone. I'm limited to 30 images per post, so I'm gonna be a bit picky about which ones I share for now. If anyone wants the others, I'll share them.
Anyways, I made all the stickers, and went through the painful task of getting them on iMessage, which required a special app, which ignored transparencies. So I had to manually cut the stickers out again, in the app, before I could FINALLY use them in iMessage!
I never used iMessage.
Fortunately, a month or two later, Discord made it so you could have 5 free stickers on a server! I had forgotten about the stickers at this point.
Sticker Series 1.5!
A year later, I remembered about this little project, and decided to revive it.
Carrot Man had undergone a massive personality shift, so I decided to make new stickers for Carrot Man, showing his more stubborn personality. I then remembered they'd be a pain in the ass to use cause I could only have 5 stickers on my server.
One of my friends gave me the idea of making them emoji however! So I went back through, and redrew the stickers with a standard brush so they'd be simpler, and thus look better at smaller sizes. I then made them emoji on the server.
I then decided to pick 5 stickers for the server, and ended up drawing a sticker of Nixie (A character who lasted 2 weeks before being scrapped), cause I only had 4 characters and didn't want to give one two stickers.
I then never used them.
Sticker Series 2!
8 Months later, I remembered about the project again, and decided to revive it once again.
Unfortunately, Multiverse had changed a bit. Junk-Watt was now scrapped, Potato Man wasn't in Multiverse Heroes, and Carrot Man became even more stubborn.
So, I decided to draw a whole new sticker pack! This time, I would only draw 4 stickers of each character, including their default pose. I did this, so none of the characters would have every expression, you'd have a reason to use them all.
The characters I did, were Carrot Man, Skizzy, Jasmin, and Mira (who I have yet to talk about, just think of her as Blue Skizzy).
I then later drew 2 stickers of Fridge, another character I have yet to talk about.
This pack got the most use! As I kept them locally stored on my computer, in an easy to access location, so I could quickly whip them out if the situation ever called for it!
I've used them 5 times.
Sticker Series 3!
Over a year later, I remembered about this project, and decided to make a Tumblr post about it.
Jokes aside I was going to make a whole new sticker pack, and release those stickers on this post, but it took me 2 hours to make 2 stickers of a character, and I'm doing 4 for each new character, and I have at least 5 characters I want to do.
So I'm delaying the release of Sticker Series 3, or rather, I'm posting this post on time, instead of delaying it so I can release Series 3 with it.
Instead, here's
Sticker Collection 1!
(Note: The first sticker of a character is their default expression)
Carrot Man -
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here's Carrot Man with 3 stages of anger! Annoyed, Irritated, and Fucking Furious.
Skizzy S. Vamgon -
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Note: This is the scrapped version of Skizzy, not the Skizzy from Junk-Watt's story)
Here we have Skizzy being bored, sleeping, and the result of sleeping first at a sleep over. (I can't explain the 4th sticker any other way)
Jasmin -
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Next we have Jasmin with some sadness! Sad, crying, and sickness!
Mira Ophelia Nightglow -
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(This is the first time I've mentioned Mira, I need to explain her in an info dump sometime. Note however that she's scrapped)
Here we have Mira with some positive emotions, before having her heart broken! Welcome to the real world bitch!
Fridge -
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Okay, Fridge is an outlier in multiple senses. One, I've been ignoring him in all my info dumps (I've merely forgotten to mention Mira); two, he has no base pose sticker; three, he only has 3 stickers; four, 2 of those stickers are more than just a pose.
Anyways, we have Fridge here exclaiming his battle cry, annoying Carrot Man, and wearing a disguise. (I actually want to make more stickers like Fridge's first 2)
End of Stickers
Okay, that's all for now.
My plan for Sticker Pack 3, is to hopefully get stickers of all my current characters, and maybe some more dynamic ones. I think it'd be cute to have Sophia and Jasmin, or Junk-Watt and Jasmin, hugging, with "Best Mom Ever!" above them. Maybe I could also have Sophia and Rossel hugging, since they're sisters; or Jasmin working on Junk-Watt, or programming something.
I can't make any promises about more dynamic stickers, as those are definitely harder to make, and require a draft, unlike the normal stickers. I also don't know when I'll finish them. (I'll prob end up forgetting about the stickers again, like every time)
I also don't know when I'll get around to talking about Mira, or Fridge. I've been somewhat avoiding talking about Fridge, which has been easy, since he was scrapped for a bit, but he's now been potentially un-scrapped! As for Mira, she was tied heavily to Multiverse Heroes, and Skizzy Vamgon, both of which are scrapped. Unlike Fridge, I just straight up forgot about her!
Anyways, that's all for now!

Windows 11: Smartphone Link angetestet
Allerdings…

How to turn a Live Photo into a video on your iPhone
Introduced by Apple many years ago with the iPhone 6s, Live Photos is an entertaining feature that transforms static images into three-second snippets. It accomplishes this by capturing the 1.5 seconds preceding and following the moment you tap the shutter button. This innovation has become a constant across all subsequent iPhone models, and even if you're new to the iPhone realm, you've likely engaged with it unknowingly, as it is enabled by default. Disabling it requires specific actions if you wish to return to capturing standard still shots. Leaving Live Photos activated doesn't entail any major drawbacks. Sharing them as conventional, unmoving photos is as simple as sharing any other image. Additionally, while they do occupy a tad more space on your iPhone, this isn't as significant as it used to be, thanks to Apple's adoption of the more efficient HEIC format in 2017. In the past, Live Photos could inflate in size to almost double that of an equivalent static JPEG, but today, the contrast is typically around 25%. Nonetheless, while you can effortlessly share a static rendition of the photo across various platforms where standard images can be posted or sent, the animated segment presents a slightly more intricate challenge. Naturally, Live Photos function seamlessly within the Apple ecosystem; thus, sharing them via iMessage or a Shared Photo Album to friends with iPhones, iPads, or Macs poses no difficulty whatsoever. Moreover, Apple has extended its Live Photos technology to third-party websites, and popular social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter have embraced its integration. Even Google Photos has supported Live Photos for an extended period and offers enhancements for them. However, if your intention is to ensure that the Live Photo plays flawlessly for all viewers, the optimal approach involves converting it into a video or an animated GIF. This approach also proves advantageous if you aim to preserve your Live Photos in a more conventional and future-proof format. While Live Photos are anticipated to remain functional on Apple devices for the foreseeable future, the outlook becomes less certain when considering their compatibility with Windows PCs or Android phones and tablets. The positive aspect is that Apple simplifies the process of saving a Live Photo as a standard video. Remarkably, this feature is seamlessly integrated into the Photos app. How to save a Live Photo as video The procedure for creating a video from a Live Photo varies slightly depending on which version of iOS you're operating. The most recent iteration, iOS 16, is compatible with any iPhone released within the past six years, encompassing devices like the latest iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro, as well as the 2017 iPhone 8. However, if you're still using an iPhone 6s or iPhone 7, both of which support Live Photos, you'll remain on iOS 15. Fortunately, the steps are almost identical for both versions, with just one option positioned slightly differently on those older models. Here's how to go about it: Step 1: Launch the Photos app on your iPhone. Step 2: Tap the Album icon located at the bottom. Step 3: Scroll downwards and opt for Live Photos from the collection listed under "Media Types." This action will present you with a gallery display exclusively showcasing the Live Photos housed within your photo library. Navigation within this section mirrors the approach employed in the primary Library view, allowing for actions like using pinch gestures to zoom in and out on the grid. Step 4: Select a Live Photo from the gallery to access it. Step 5: Once your selected Live Photo is open, tap the three-dot More button situated at the upper right corner of the screen. This action will unveil a dropdown menu featuring additional choices. For those utilizing iOS 15, you'll need to opt for the Share button instead, triggering the standard iOS share sheet to appear. Step 6: Choose the Save as Video option from the pop-up menu (iOS 16) or the share sheet (iOS 15). Your iPhone will create a copy of the Live Photo as a standard video clip. Step 7: In the event that the "Save as Video" option does not appear within the menu or share sheet while you have a Live Photo selected, it's likely due to either having deactivated the Live Photo feature or activated an effect mode such as Loop or Bounce (which will be discussed in the final section). Live Photos equipped with effects cannot be transformed into videos. To address this, you'll need to revert the photo to its original Live Photo state. To achieve this, simply choose the Live button situated in the top left corner of the photo (which might also display Loop, Bounce, or Long Exposure) and adjust it back to Live from the ensuing dropdown menu. Step 8: The resulting video clip will retain the identical metadata as the original Live Photo, encompassing the precise date, time, and location details. Consequently, it will be categorized alongside the initial Live Photo in your library. However, this doesn't imply that it will invariably find its place at the bottom of your Library timeline, unless you're transforming a Live Photo captured in close succession. Step 9: The swiftest method to locate your newly saved video involves returning to the Albums view and directing your attention to the Recents album. This particular album arranges your photos based on their actual addition date to your library, as opposed to their internal timestamps. How to combine multiple Live Photos into a single video clip Utilizing iOS 16, you have the added capability to merge multiple Live Photos into a singular video clip, crafting a montage of your Live Photo moments. Follow these steps: Step 1: Launch the Photos app on your iPhone. Step 2: Tap the Album icon located at the bottom. Step 3: Scroll down and choose Live Photos from the list situated beneath "Media Types." This will display exclusively the Live Photos contained within your photo library. Step 4: Select the "Select" option found at the upper right corner. Step 5: Choose the Live Photos that you intend to merge into a single video. Step 6: Once your selected Live Photo is open, tap the three-dot More button positioned at the bottom right of the screen, which will prompt the options menu to appear. Step 7: Opt for the "Save as Video" choice. The duration of this process varies based on the number of photos you've chosen, ranging from a few seconds to several minutes. During this time, a "Saving..." dialogue will appear as your Live Photos are being transformed into a video. After the video is successfully generated, you'll find yourself back in the Live Photos view. It's possible that you'll need to access the Recents album, as mentioned in the previous section, to locate your video. It will carry the timestamp of the oldest Live Photo you included in your montage. It's worth noting that there doesn't seem to be a practical upper limit to the quantity of Live Photos you can compile into a single video. However, just like when converting an individual Live Photo to a video, you won't be able to include Live Photos where the Live Photo feature is disabled or ones with added Loop, Bounce, or Long Exposure effects. The "Save as Video" option won't appear in the menu if any of these are part of your selection. How to use Loop, Bounce, or Long Exposure with Live Photos You also have the option to incorporate special effects into your Live Photos to infuse a touch of fun. Apple presently offers three distinct effects: Loop, Bounce, and Long Exposure. Loop transforms your Live Photo into a brief, continuous loop devoid of pauses, while Bounce imparts a continuous back-and-forth motion to the Live Photo. As the name implies, Long Exposure transforms your Live Photo into a still image that amalgamates the three seconds of video, simulating the effect of a photograph captured with an exceptionally slow shutter speed. Live Photos featuring these activated effects cannot be converted into videos using the built-in tools within the Photos app. Nonetheless, you can still view them on your iPhone and other Apple devices, and share them with friends and social media platforms capable of accommodating Live Photos. Here's how to proceed: Step 1: Launch the Photos app and select a Live Photo. Step 2: With the chosen image open, tap the Live button located at the top left corner. From the ensuing dropdown menu, choose either Loop, Bounce, or Long Exposure. Alternatively, you can opt for "Off" if you prefer the Live Photo to appear as a conventional, static image. How to convert Live Photos to animated GIFs On certain occasions, you might find it more preferable to share your Live Photo in the form of a GIF rather than a video. This approach could be particularly advantageous on specific social media platforms, especially those that autoplay GIFs or lack support for uploading video clips. Regrettably, iOS 16 does not include a built-in method to convert a Live Photo into an animated GIF. However, as is often the case, the App Store presents an array of solutions to fill this gap. Unsurprisingly, one of the most popular options is Giphy, which has the capability to convert any Live Photo into an animated GIF — even if it includes Loop or Bounce effects. Furthermore, Giphy enables you to trim the GIF, customize it with your own effects, and directly share it on social media. Additionally, Giphy allows you to save Live Photos as video clips with the same editing capabilities, accommodating Live Photos containing Bounce and Loop effects. It's worth noting that the only drawback with Giphy is the necessity to create an account for its usage. However, it does support "Sign in with Apple" for a convenient sign-up process. If you prefer to bypass this step, there are alternative apps available on the App Store that can achieve the same task, although they might not be as feature-rich as Giphy. Here's what to do: Step 1: Download Giphy from the App Store, open the app, and either sign in or register for an account. Step 2: Click on the "Create" option situated at the upper right corner. Step 3: Upon receiving a prompt, provide permission for Camera access, and subsequently, tap on the photo thumbnail located at the lower left corner to open your photo library. Once again, grant access if prompted. Step 4: Opt for "Live Photos" located at the bottom to exclusively view your collection of Live Photos. Step 5: Select a Live Photo that you intend to transform into a GIF, and tap on it to open. Step 6: You'll be presented with an array of editing tools designed to allow customization of your Live Photo before converting it into a GIF. These tools encompass options like cropping, trimming, and the inclusion of stickers and text effects. Utilize these tools to make the desired edits, and once you're satisfied, click on the Right Arrow located at the lower right corner to move on to the subsequent step. Step 7: On the following screen, a preview of the finalized GIF will be displayed. Opt for "Share GIF" to progress to the subsequent screen. Alternatively, you can select the smaller "Tap to Copy GIF" option if you wish to swiftly copy it to your clipboard for pasting into another application. Step 8: Within the "Share Video" interface, decide between "Save GIF" to preserve a copy of the GIF in your photo library or "Save Video" to store it as a standard video clip. Additionally, you have the option to employ the alternative choices available here for direct sharing to platforms like Messages, Facebook Messenger, Snapchat, or Instagram.   Read the full article
