ISO WINCEST ART
I see so much great Destiel fan art on my dash, and so little Wincest by comparison, it makes me sad. I try to reblog all Wincest art that I come across, but I would welcome links to Wincest (or J2) art blogs. Anyone got recommendations? (Including self recs.)

DESPERATELY in search of: specific long OLD Peterick fic
I realize it may be weird to call into the abyss on this defunct blog but I am desperately in search of a fanfic that ruined my life many years ago and I wanted to revisit because I loved it so much. I’m pretty confident it was posted on live journal (but for some reason I think it was cross posted to A03 somewhere along the lines? MAYBE?)
Details I remember from the fic:
-Pete gifted Patrick a blue guitar (for Christmas? I think?) that matched his eyes perfectly (this was a recurring mention but happened early on)
-Patrick initially refused to perform Saturday because Pete wrote it about him losing his virginity LOL
-followed fall out boy from the beginning and worked through the timeline of then being a band up until the time that would be when Pete and Ashlee got married irl
-Pete and Patrick were together at the beginning of the fic and end but mostly separated in the middle and the fic mentioned other relationships they had (real, speculative, and fake)
-after the Honda civic tour Pete was with Mikey Way at one point and Patrick had a thing with Bob Bryar
anYWAY! I would be so so so appreciative if anyone knows what I’m talking about and could help me track it down! Please let me know if this sounds familiar to you and you know where I could find it!
I’ve spent half a week trying to find this but I haven’t even caught a whisper on the wind of it 😭

I fucked up big time, crochet style
So I’m making a lovey for my niece to give to her when she’s born. I chose a lovely soft brown yarn from my stash for this, and did not think I would need more than one skein (mistake 1), so I didn’t even think to check where I could buy it (mistake 2). I’m more than halfway through and about to run out. So I look it up, and lo and behold:
Turns out I’m using a discontinued Bernat line, and cannot find any being resold on Etsy or eBay.
So I guess my question is:
Does anyone know of a good match for Bernat Satin yarn? Specifically in the color sable?
Thanks, I will owe you my life

Beta Readers Wanted!
Hey my babies!
This is a shout-out post on behalf of my hubby.
He’s currently writing a book and needs some volunteer beta readers!
It’s sci fi genre, mature content (so no minors please!)
What I’ve read so far is really good and I said I’d try to spread the word and try and find him some more people to read and give their honest opinions!
If you are interested, or know anyone who would be, please share with them or DM me!
Please share and reblog so we can find people who would be into this!
Thank you babies! 👍🏻💕

In Search Of Ancient Mysteries (1973)
16mm print. This made-for-tv documentary was so successful that producer Alan Landsburg turned it into the popular syndicated series IN SEARCH OF with Leonard Nimoy.

Can anyone trace a copy of this video?
We purchased the cassette, but it was sent by eBay’s Global Shipping Program, which seems to lose about 40% of the parcels committed to it.
The “Sellafield Sightseer” must be considered one of the stranger nuclear energy political efforts. For one thing, steam excursions were only thought of because the lines on the west coast of England were (and still are) not electrified, because of the very light traffic. That in itself implies the remarkably modest scale of industrial effort involved in nuclear energy activities.

Okay, putting out a call to anyone who might know:
Does anyone have the name/title of the experimental short fiction about a fan who gets embroiled in a murder mystery involving the actors of her favorite ship? The story is told as a series of social media posts, and the narrator is portrayed as unreliable. I believe the actors/show was modeled off of Supernatural, but that's gone fuzzy too. Thanks for any help!

Ok, this might be a stretch. But does ANYONE have any idea of what name this character on the fabric is called or how else to search for her/fabric with her on.
I remember a friend from school (no longer in contact) had black or pink curtains with this character on them, but I have had no luck in my searches.
PLEASE, if anyone has any knowledge about this character, please share so I finally can satisfy my curiosity and nostalgia 🙏
(The picture is 4/5 years old and the fabric store doesn’t sell the fabric anymore)

I’ve seen this same sun rise, Thousands of times, The same horizon, The same story, The similarity, the sundering -
Come empty
And
After I’ve seen that same sun set, Thousands of times, I settle in beds, eventually broken, Into dreams, eventually torn, Onto long walks, going nowhere -
In longing for that same sun
To
Rise
Again,
No matter how dark the skies arrive to greet.
- Hathaway Hayes (2023)
