I swear, virgins, incels, neckbeards, and nerds, specifically ones typically considered ugly, are the absolute best! Imagine them pinning you down and clumsily thrusting into you, yelling at you about how all women are stuck up bitches who need to get raped. He grabs at your breasts and spits in your face, he pisses down your throat and makes you clean him with your tongue. He stroked your hair while abusing your holes and telling you you’re going to become his dream waifu or tradwife, and you’re going to spend the rest of your life servicing him, cooking, and cleaning, fetching him beers.
I see so many women arguing with men. Trying to convince men that women are capable. Trying to convince men that women have suffered. Trying to convince men to see women as human.
You can spend your teens, your twenties, your thirties, and even your forties desperately trying to prove your worth to them. Trying to earn their respect. You will not get it. You will never get it.
Stop arguing with them. They don’t see you as anything but an exploitable object. They don’t care about you. They don’t love you. They are the definition of an energy vampire. Every millisecond you spend arguing with them is that much less time and energy that you could be using to enrich yourself.
"There is some question as to whether Rodrigo is actually Juan's father, so he feels constant need to prove he is a real Borgia, Juan has a lot of flair and personality, but he's also perhaps a bit naïve and a little weaker than his brother. That compels him to compensate with bravado, which makes him dangerous." — DAVID OAKES
no but the betrayer gods being cast the furthest and the darkest down into the consciousness of their world’s existence because they were the first amongst their family to defend themselves
Teared up a little getting to the Luke’s big fuck up *tm* moment in Tales of the Abyss not because I didn’t know it was coming. But because it’s so gradual and pieces are layered brick by brick in such a genius way. Yeah here’s a kid who lost half of his life to memory loss and doesn’t remember what the sea looks like. Yeah here’s a political conflict where every single party views him as a weapon or a liability. Oh also he has a complex about being useless but he also wants the air of importance without understanding what that means. AND he’s literally dehumanized by the reality of being a clone. And it leads to horrible consequences.
Van so easily manipulates Luke because Luke is an easily swayed person who is barely even,,, a person at 17 years old. And it makes the anger the party members feel also so interesting because yeah, they also isolated him and mocked him for not knowing better (to various degrees). But he also acted spoiled and pushed them away when they tried to level with him and guide him in the right direction. Luke willfully would bury himself in ignorance while proclaiming that he wants to know more when he’s being kept in the dark.
Confession time: my secret dream is to run a misogynistic “secret society” that works to spread the word of the patriarchy, dismantle feminism, and put women back in our proper place, the kitchen and bedroom, serving as trad wives.
At first, I was shaken when I saw the 2 on empathy for Kuras.
But after thinking about it for a few moments it does make sense.
He is a being who lived for eons.
Living a short life is probably as relatable for him as being immortal for us. I bet even monsters don't have life spans as long as him.
Moreover, imagine how painful it would be to have a lot of empathy and see people die again and again. Not just because of war or disease, but because their life is finite.
I think Kuras is keeping people at a distance as a way to protect himself, but sometimes he gets too close to someone despite himself.
the alliance........ from left to right: baseball, suitcase, nickel, and balloon!
(i was trying to find a way to represent balloon's name and i came upon a lucky medium: given how he was a jerk in ii1 and nickel continued to see him as such, i imagine he'd just call him "bully" from then on, even after they became friends -- and it sounds like the word "balloon", no?)
You encounter worshippers of Bane - they clearly mean to do you harm.
The leader of the Banites approaches:
'The Banites demand gold to let you go.'
[You reveal that you are also a follower of Bane, and in the name of the Black Hand, demand to be charged less for your freedom.]
Banites try and mug you for walking into their enclave and the party Banite can object: not to the mugging, to be clear. That's fair, but wow is this mugging overpriced. Bane demands you do your maths.
I have two sides and it's literally either serving and worshipping in the most degrading ways the most beautiful human being alive or the most gross slob of a person there is.
Both are so degrading in the best way, first making me feel the humiliation of being nothing in comparison and other the humiliation of serving someone so nasty, still being inferior to someone who isn't even worthy of being called a superior, but they are to me and i have no choice. Also they both geniuenly don't give a shit and just care about themselves being comfortable.
i love the continuous implication that volo clearly believes that he is supposed to be the Chosen One, and is so annoyed by how impressed he is by the person who has been given the role, who is only here in the first place bc of his (volo’s) actions. really played yourself there man
