What sort of proof would you need to believe that a fundraiser was real?

I actually put in the legwork to verify one of these fundraisers today (I wanted to see how hard it was to actually vet one of these posts). It took about an hour, but I was satisfied by the end of it that the person in question exists, is who they are claiming to be, has a GoFundMe, and that the GoFundMe being spread around is probably the same one being linked to (I wasn't 100% satisfied by what I could find on that count? but I ended up in a place where I was reasonably confident). I'm happy to share my work, and have added it below.

I've gotten a lot of nasty messages since making that post accusing me of being anti-Palestine. My heart and money is 100% with Palestine, and I've given as much as I can afford, to reputable aid organizations. I believe both in a free Palestine, and doing your own research on the recipients of your money when you decide to financially contribute to a cause.

Anyway, this is the GoFundMe that I think is legit, and below is the legwork I did to reach that conclusion. While I still think it is better to give to a relief organization if your goal is improving the lot of the people in Gaza, I don't think this one is a scam.

This is the fundraiser for Eman Zaqout, who - first of all - is a real person! This is very easy to verify: Googling her name returns a LinkedIn with a complete work history (she is a molecular biologist), her profile with Unesco, and her profile with the Palestine Academy for Science & Technology. You know, the kind of stuff you'd expect to see when you Google someone. Great start.

Next step: Is the person running this GoFundMe the real Dr. Zaqout? (While I have some sources which say she is in a PhD fellowship and does not yet have her doctorate, she is listed as Dr. Zaqout at the Palestine Academy for Science & Technology, and I'd prefer to use the honorific in case it may in fact be more appropriate.)

So. Dr. Zaqout joined LinkedIn in 2014. And she does link to her Instagram from her LinkedIn, and her Instagram links to the GoFundMe. That's a great start!

However, it's worth mentioning that her contact information on LinkedIn was updated less than 3 months ago (which includes the link to her Instagram). Given the number of Palestinians whose accounts have been hacked or spoofed by scammers in order to lend their scams legitimacy, I don't love that change. That coincides with the surge in scam activity following the All Eyes on Rafah movement gaining momentum. Plenty of Palestinians have had their entire social media presences stolen by scammers.

However again - her LinkedIn (which, as established, may be compromised) also links to a TikTok account! And the TikTok account has video! And that sure looks to me like Dr. Zaqout in the video! While the photo of her on LinkedIn is no longer trustworthy since we know her account has been updated in the past 3 months, there is also a photo of her here at Palast.ps, which is a legitimate scientific organization. And yeah, sure, a dedicated scammer could have hacked that too, but there are also photos of her on LinkedIn that look like this:

It's not the best photo in the world, but it's identifiably her. Fabricating this kind of ephemera is more than I would expect of your typical charity scammer.

And in the most recent TikTok video of her, she's even talking about a GoFundMe, on 7/17! And she posted another video on 7/21 in which she is not seen, but you can hear her voice, and it does sound like her.

Today is August 2nd. The last two videos uploaded to Dr. Zaqout's TikTok are just photo collages, so they can't be used to verify that she still has control of her social media accounts. But for now, I'm prepared to say with some confidence that that woman is Dr. Eman Zaqout, that Dr. Zaqout is legitimately a Palestinian scientist, she did actually start a GoFundMe, and that she was posting about it as recently as 12 days ago.

All right all right, we are cooking folks. The last questions we need to answer: is this actually Dr. Zaqout's GoFundMe? The last scenario we need to rule out is that her social media presence was stolen in the last 12 days.

Let's start with that GoFundMe.

First of all, it's not being run by Dr. Zaqout. That's normal: GoFundMe isn't supported in Palestine, and all Palestinians will have to rely on friends or family abroad to set up their campaigns and collect donations on their behalf. This campaign is being run by a Mazin Fakak. I think that's supposed to be this Mazin Fakak, which makes sense; he is based in Quebec, and Dr. Zaqout either studied at or is in close affiliation with McGill University, which is in Quebec. He also lists Arabic as one of his spoken languages. So far this is a plausible connection for Dr. Zaqout to have. His LinkedIn profile also hasn't been updated in over a year, which makes me disinclined to think this is a recently-stolen scam account.

My one issue here is that when I Google Fakak, this is all that comes up. A LinkedIn profile created in 2014 that hasn't been touched in over a year, and two GoFundMe fundraisers for Palestinian families. And Dr. Zaqout never mentions Fakak anywhere. I would feel 100% confident of this fundraiser if she did.

But while my investigation into Fakak didn't turn up anything that confirms the connection to Zaqout, it also does nothing to disprove it, and the circumstantial evidence available to me lends credibility to the claim. So while I land somewhere around 80% on the verifiable credibility of this GoFundMe, please balance that against my 95%+ confidence in Zaqout's legitimacy, and the fact that she appears to still have control of her socials as of 12 days ago. If she posts on TikTok with another live video again (and not a photo slideshow, which can't be considered verification of anything), then I'd say this one is completely safe.

Yes you can get hacked and send out asks that look weird and sometimes even have phishing links and maybe even share posts you wouldn’t share normally. Just look back on that time the sunglasses saga was spreading like wildfire or that time people got hacked because they wanted to know who was checking their blogs. It can happen to anyone, anytime, anywhere.

There is still blogs out there, long abandoned by their owners, that once got hacked and never was recovered and still have the phishing links posted.

Also don’t pay Instagram accounts to ‘save’ your hacked account that’s a scam.

So, he got curious and went to the page that was tagged and only saw pictures of the gym leader wearing their mask

Then he saw that they had their private Instagram link in their Linktree

He requested to follow the account and went back to scrolling through Instagram while he waited

He checked his notifications the next day and saw that the account had followed him and accepted his follow request

As soon as he was ready, he checked out the profile

When he saw your face he was blushing immediately

He thought you were the most beautiful person he’s ever seen

While he was looking through the pictures he accidentally liked an older photo of you and he panicked and unliked it because he didn’t want to come off as a weirdo

That’s when he received a DM from you joking about how what happened

He felt embarrassed until you told him that you were flattered and thought it was a little funny how quick it happened

He confessed that he was just scrolling through your page and thought that you were beautiful and accidentally hit like on that older photo

You sent 🤣 and said that you had done the same thing on one of his older posts because you thought he was stunning

After a while of DMing back and forth you two exchanged phone numbers promising not to leak them and to delete the messages after adding the phone number to your contacts list just in case either of your accounts got hacked

After about a month of texting you two finally meet up since you flew to Galar for a Gym Leader conference that was happening

You were wearing your mask throughout the conference except for when you were hanging out with the other Gym Leaders from your area and Raihan

Raihan promised that he would never post any pictures of you without your mask on

It was at that moment that a beautiful friendship was born

Piers was scrolling through TikTok, but he was on the app back when it was called Musical.ly

He was going through the the hashtag called PiersEdit and saw an edit that you had made

The edit was to the song The Feels by TWICE

After watching it he click on your profile picture and started watching your videos

The newest ones were edits of the Galar Gym Leaders

Once he finished watching those he sees a video with your face in it and watches it

It a video of you sewing a plush of his Obstagoon and the caption said “If I ever get to meet Piers I might give him this if he wants it.”

He knows you probably got notifications of him liking your video and he commented “I am more than willing to have that adorable plush from such a beautiful person.”

Then the likes exploded and some people were questioning if if you and Piers were in a secret relationship

He just continues to watch your TikToks and sees you’ve made the other Galar Gym Leaders Pokemon and all the videos included your beautiful face

A month later he was meeting fans after one of his concerts and he spots a familiar plush

He walks up to you and taps you on your shoulder “Hey beautiful.”

You turn around and quickly give him the plush and ran off

He hopes to see you again since you put your phone number on the tag

Ice dancer Liu Xinyu's instagram was hacked, posting images and statements accusing him of the following:

Statuatory rape

Rape of a minor

Taking nude photos of victims for blackmail

Emotional abuse - leading one victim to try and commit suicide

Embezzeling funds (in which Shiyue is also implicated)

Bribing referees

The images in question have all now been taken down from his insta but you can find threads translating/summarising the posts on twitter below the cut, as well as details of a previous allegation of rape of a minor that was supposedly covered up.

Xinyu hasn't made any statement about the allegations other than himself and Shiyue posting that the account was hacked and that the police have been contacted.

According to weibo various investigations are now taking place.

As far as you’re concerned, Zhongli is the closest thing to perfection a man could ever be. Except for one very minor detail. He cannot, for the life of him, use a phone.

Which could be blamed on his 30,000 year old android, with a screen that barely functions and a cracked camera, and you really can't let him go out like that. So one day, as an advance on your anniversary gift for him, you decide to welcome him to the wonderful world of the iPhone.

“What’s this?” Zhongli says, opening the box carefully. “What have I done to warrant such a gift?” he holds the phone in his hands as if it’s a baby chick—you bought him one of the bigger phones, knowing his hands are large, and even still he could do with something bigger.

“You dropped your phone in the toilet and I can’t allow you to continue using it. You have to understand.” You grin. “So I got you a new one that actually works and when you tap the screen, it actually registers it.”

So you asked him if you could know his password and promised only to use it in situations like this. (And promptly cried when you realised his password was your birthday.)

(2) Get his email hacked. He’d approached you with excitement, saying: “Dear, look. I got an email saying I’ve won a Macbook.” To which you replied: “You can barely use your phone, we might need to leave the macbook on the back burner for a while. Who sent the email?”. The email was sent by vnweifgq@dfugf.com and contained a link, which Zhongli had happily pressed. And thus, his email was lost to the grips of hackers.

(3) Find the dictation and voice note feature, which is great. He gives you encyclopaedic updates to his day, which you read or listen to with genuine enthusiasm. This was what you bought him the phone for at the end of the day, right? The extra chance to connect with your husband?

(4) Get into the habit of sending you pictures of things that make him happy or that remind him of you. Which is essentially the same thing as far as he is concerned. You’ve also got used to sending them back.

(5) Make an Instagram account. He’s not great at it, but with some guidance, he manages to post some of the pictures he sends you.

(6) Accidentally message the group chat (you, Xiao, Ganyu, Madame Ping and some others use it to invite each other to dignified tea parties and movie marathons) his shopping list. The shopping list included all the things he was getting for you as part of your anniversary gift, so Xiao had to teach him how to delete the message so you wouldn’t see it.

But by the time your next anniversary comes around, he’s actually really good with it—he can use instagram better than you can (though he read the terms and conditions from start to finish and became very careful about how he uses it), orders things from amazon at least three times a week, and has a facebook group for fellow birdwatchers with about two hundred people in it.

Yes, he has all of his icons and text at the largest size possible, and yes, he refuses to use TikTok and favours Instagram reels, but when he’s on work trips or you’re visiting friends elsewhere in the world, it’s nice to be able to video call him and not feel as distant as you used to.

“I think this phone might have been the best gift you’ve ever gotten me, dearest.” he says one night, after discovering the kindle app, where he can find all the classic novels he loves so much without having to clear out bookshelf space.

You sit in bed together, simply talking about your respective days, both your phones banished to charge in another room. Would his lawyer tell him to not do this, absolutely, is he trying to use a loophole that he technically didn't comided a crime, debatable. There are so much easier ways to hack your ex, then to cat fish him, asking a crime lord to do the catfishing for you in exchange to work for said crime lord. He just needs to find a set of pictures of a person his ex totally would drop his pants for. He has already prepared a bunch of fake profiles for social media, hiden malware in a link he just needs a face. Three weeks ago he got a dubious packet with a venetian carnival mask to wear to the ring, to keep anonymity for the spectators. A bit risky in Yuris opinion but well it's not his fight ring and it looks like its running really good, that way. He spins the mask that will cover the uper half of his face in his hand, being nervous. Its a yester, with a black base colour with white details, on the top of the mask a yester hat in black and blue. He takes a deep breath before closing his eyes, moving his fingers over the screen. He stops his finger and open his eyes he choose a very generic looking blond woman, for the photos he will use. He looks through the set, it's a big one with a lot of pictures for many scenarios and even he is a bit scandalised by the lewed photos this profile is providing. Its perfect, matching the sexual preferences of his ex perfectly. He finishes his purchase and is setting up the phone with all the photos setting up the Instagram account with some of the tamer photos using some silly caption he is coping from accounts of real people using the all the hastags they are using. He then turns the phone of and puts it in a box. He needs to get ready to leave. He walks in his bedroom looking at the dark blue dress shirt that matches the mask with a dark pair of jeans. He is unsure if he looks like he just want to join the normal partielife of Saint Petersberg like this, but well he already knows that a sertain dress up is expected at the main ring. A modern version of bread and circus like in ancient Rome, he already is working with someone in Makarovs organisation he just dont know whom, but this person is one of his best buyers so that hopefully will improve his chances to join. He walks back into the living room, looking at the box the masked arrived for the first time since he took the mask out, looking for any hints, to identify his contact or atleast not getting caught of guard at the ring. He nearly misses that fake bottom the box has only catching it, because he shaked the box and hearing something move in the box. He needed the help of a knife to get the fake bottom out. Seeing a now familiar card. A entry card for the ring on folded a piece of paper. This is the confirmation that the mask was not send to him with Makarovs knowledge, this could be a good or a bad thing, but now he dont have to use the whore card at least. He looks at the card noticing it's a bit different then the one he already has, like its to be expected by cards that Makarov hands out personally, wich means who ever controls the card upon entry likely also knows that Makarovs card is given to prostitutes and any woman he will fuck, Yuri feels anger heating up his face. Fuck his it's only a whore card if you give it back bullshit, fucking liar, he will keep the card. Next he opens the paper, reading the instructions.

Yuri checks the time its 18:50. More time for him to overthink everything and be nervous. He assumes Z is his contact in the organisation, but who is Z and what are his goals? He decides to play a stupid mobile game to pass the time, before he carelessly lets it drop on the couch to get ready. Like the last time he don't takes his phone with him, only money, his keys, cigarette, lighter, the card and the mask. He puts a jacket on, to hide the mask in a pocked on the inside where he also puts the card. He's getting picked up, nothing unusual people get picked up all the time, he calms himself down while walking down the stairs. He dont has to wait for long before a black limousine is holding infornt of him. He takes one deep breath before opening the back door and entering the car. "Ah the Magpie, nice to finally having a face to the name." Yuri is greated by a man, Victor Zakhaev. "Mister Zakheav" Yuri greats back, after closing the door. He thought about a lot of people that sent him the mask, but non of was a direct rival of Makarov. He is in deep shit, but its to late by now they are already driving towards the ring. "Didn't know the ring is that popular that even rivals attend." Yuri atmids having to suppress the urge to bounce his legs again. "Oh, some of the fighters are mine, you know it's like our own boxing league ", Zakheav explains bored, looking Yuri up and down, Yuri nods along to what's said. A illegal 'boxing' league organised by Saint Petersberg worst of the worst of society. "Do people die?", Yuri asks knowing 5 years ago that was forbidden. "Oh sometimes fighters die from internal injuries, but it's usally a accident. No direct deadly force allowed. You know its like the gladiators in ancient Rome in someway, popular fighters bring a lot of money if they die we lose it." Yuri nods again there is one question he has, how did Zakheav found him, he needs the answer but knows now is not the time, maybe on the way back. He should ask the answer can prevent from getting found by the police or worse. "You ever gone to on of the fights?" Zakheav asks intressted, very focused on Yuris body language. "I recently decided to stay in Saint Petersberg for a longer time, before that I lived here and there, so no", Yuri lies hoping the other don't catches it or if he does he is understanding enough to let him get away with it. "Really never the time to watch a fight?" Zakheav digs a bit deeper. "No, lived outside of Russia when the ring got really popular heard rumours for a long time but never intressted enough to go." This wasn't a lie because the ring only got popular 2 years ago. "I think you will enjoy it, ever meet Makarov before?" "I heared of him", Yuri lies pushing the thoughts of a half nacked Makarov down. "Of course hard to not hear about him." Yuri has the feeling Zakheav knows a bit more then he lets on, to Yuris displeasure. "For your own safety please stay close", Zakheav says before pulling out his mask. It is fully covering his face, with delicate blue drawings around the eyes, the same blue as Yuris mask so everyone will know he's here with Zahheav. Yuri also puts on his mask, not liking that he is that heavy associate with a direct rival of Makarov and that only half his face is covered but he assumes the full cover is reserved for VIPs.

They get in without anyone even asking for a card to enter and they are rather late, the ring that is in an abandoned public pool is already packed with masked people. Most of them like Yuri only wear one that is covering the uper half of the face, only a few he sees with a full face mask all of them with other colours. He will not find Makarov here, he has to hope Makarov finds him and even thats not ideal. They push themselves through the mass of people till they reach the VIP area, again nobody wants to see a card, the perks of being invited by one of the big names. They have a perfect view on the empty former pool from here, but Yuri is noticing the red and brown stains on the blue tiles. Somebody is walking towards them by the colour he's wearing he also belongs to Zakheavs men. "He's fighting to night, saw him earlier his absolute furious about something, it will be brutal to night. Excellent day to bring a guest." The men says before sitting next to Yuri. "Who?", Yuri asks having the feeling he asks the most dumbest question in this place. "The owner himself, Makarov."

Yuris mouth drops open at this at the same time he knows he will not be able to talk with his old friend. What a waste of his time, to come here. A woman in very short cloths is walking towards them and Yuri thinks its generous to even call it clothes. "What can I bring the gentlemen to drink?", the waitress asks them with a smile and Yuri is staring at her. "We take 3 whisky on the rock", Zakheav orders for them. The woman walks away and Yuri stars at her ass while she walks away. "The waitress are of limits, but there are plenty of whores here to fuck", Zakheav says to Yuri with a dirty smile. "Of course I was just looking", Yuri says and he was only looking, woman will never do it for him. "What happens if Makarov loses a fight?", Yuri asks intressted in the rules. "Few do and when only sending a substitute at most, Makarov is the only that is fighting himself." Yuri becomes the feeling he is uterly fucked, to come today to see a fight. "You ready to bet?" Zakheav men asks exited. "I wait till I get a feeling for the fighters", Yuri answers, he's so nervous he has to force himself to sit still and not throw up. Yuri looks around at masked faces see around 20 diffrent colors around ad still on spot in the VIP area is empty probably Makarovs place. His heart is beating heavily in his chest, he should be feel lucky that Makarov is not here but in the ring tonight, but somehow he has the feeling this is making everything worse. He should have come atleast with Milena even if she don't wears Makarovs colours she's a better option then fucking Victor Zakheav. A man with a blood red half mask is walking past them towards the empty spot, one of Makarovs men, Yuri assumes and his heart drops when he thinks he reconices the men. Andrei Nolan, if he reconises Yuri is fucked Makarov won't forgive him this. He should have ask Makarov if the mask is from him and not just assume it's from one of his men. Yuri turns away, his legs are itching now he absolutely has to supress all his tells to not get Andrei's attention.

The first rounds are starting and Yuri is getting more and more nervous about Makarov entering the ring, but also is picking up on the rules. Touching the wall means you lose, if you hit the ground you're out and the later you fight the harder it becomes because nobody care to remove the blood from the floor, causing a slipping hazard. He barely touches his drink in fear Makarov changes his mind about fighting today and shows up in the VIP area instead. "And now one the first of the most anticipated fights of the night Makarov vs Romanov", the announcers voice is coming out of the speaker. Yuri takes as sip of his drink keeping the liquid in his mouth the alcohol burning on his tounge before he swallows it when Makarov and his opponent enter the ring. This time way less tired Yuri even can see what the tattoos on Makarovs back are. The stars marking him as a thief's in law, the gigantic wolfs head that mark him as a leader, the church towers meaning he served prison time. Honestly seeing Makarov in the ring is even worse then waiting for his fight.

Makarov feels two eyes burning holes in his back and don't think much about it, a lot of people are trying to force him dead with starring. He needs to focus on the fight he can always send Andrei a message about this later. He and Romanov are circeling eachother waiting for the other to open their defence or slipping on a blood puddle, because the arena only gets cleaned after a rounds of fights are over. He is fuming today Captain Price shut down one of his operations before it even really began what must mean there is a mole in his organisation. Romanov is lowering his arms just a tiny bit and its Makarovs opening, he uses a hard right jab hitting Romanovs shoulder and instantly has to duck his head so he dont gets a left hook in the face. It's frustrating Makarov that Romanov, the champion of green, the Petrovs, is his first fight. The two are each others biggest rival, with Romanov having the best defence of all fighters and him as one of the most aggressive attackers it usally comedown who has more nerves and he knows that he dont has the nerves right now. They circel each other again and Makarov again feels the eyes on him, sending a nice feeling down his spine, but he knows better then to look for the person. Makarov trys a bluff pretending to lower his guard and Romanov is actually falling for it. Trying to use a left hook that Makarov can easy block and conter with cross, hearing the crunch when he hits the nose of his opponent, feeling the blood running over his fingers. Looks like Romanov is also not in the best head space to night and Makarov will use it to his advantage. They throw some punches that are either evated or blocked, nothing really happening but Makarov smelled blood now, literally and he gets a hook against his oponends left kidney, was it a dirty move sure but they were allowed. Romanov is stumbeling back nearly slipped on the wet tiles, using his arms to get balance back and Makarov hits him straight against the chin. Romanov falls back, hitting his head heavily against one of the walls, meaning he's out for tonight.

When Makarov is back in the fighters area Andrei is coming towards him, looking grim. He holds out a phone to Makarov with the table of Zakheav he is frowning. So Zakheav brought a guest he dont understand what the problem is with this, till Andrei shows him a video of said guest. The chewing of the bottom lip and the tapping of the foot, he would reconices this tales of a very nervous Yuri everywhere. His mood is getting worse, looks like he has to viste Yuri tonight, because what the actual fuck does he thinks he is doing. Yuri knows the moment Andrei is moving away he's fucked, he tried, he really tried to not be to invested in Makarovs fight, looked not even at the fight, but at a wall the whole time. His lower lip is bleeding from him chewing it to much and halfway through the fight he could not stop tapping his leg and he felt Andrei's eyes burning a hole in the side of his head, but he dont have to much time to worry for now because as Zakheav said in the note he has some people to introduce to Yuri. So Yuri try to ignore the stone in his stomach and be a professional and make some work deals, while he still can.

The general public and heroes use InstaFeed, while the Villains use Instagrim.

In Episode 6 Miss Heed is shown to have an InstaFeed account instead of an Instagram account.

And her @ name is also @MISS_HEED_ OFFICIAL instead of @MISS_HEED, as shown in her real life actual Instagram link (https://www.instagram.com/miss_heed/)

However, MISS_HEED_OFFICAL is her Instagram Display Name

So the Instagram account we see in real life is a little bit different than what we see in the Villainous show.

In Villainous, Penumbra, other Villains, and The Men Without Hats, etc. are shown to be using Instagrim.

However unlike InstaFeed, Instagrim is a Black Web, the Villainous version of Dark Web/Deep Web, website which is not available to the general public and can only be accessed by Villains and in special cases like the Men Without Hats who can hack and have installed programs and software to avoid tracking and being doxxed. (see below)

This is supported by the post in CreepyCharly when a user said you can see that SunBlast is alive on Penumbra’s Instagrim account, but CreepyCharly replies that she could not access it and jokingly added that she doesn’t believe that Villains have social media.

(Also, in the comment section in the image above, a verified account with the name @MISS_HEED_OFFICIAL is seen commenting a bot like comment: “FOLLOW ME”, Miss Heed being a former Villain and student in Black Hat Institution, she probably was able to have knowledge on how to access the Black Web, and perhaps link it to her current InstaFeed account)

As regular citizens like CreepyCharly can’t access it I agree with gabygirl123 ‘s post that Instagrim is also a part of the Black Web as it follows the. Yet again another figure skater - Chinese ice dancer Xinyu Liu - has been accused of various s*x related crimes:

Here is a short summary:

Xinyu Liu's Instagram account has been hacked and his name been changed "turning myself in for raping minors". His Instagram account has now been deleted but screenshots have been shared on Weibo (you can find them in @delayed3A (x/twt) account.

Xinyu Liu is accused of:

- using the athlete fund of the Chinese fed to go out and consume drinks with marijuana

- using the fund to ask international students out, treat them to dinner and then sleep with them. Afterwards he ghosted them. He also allegedly took pictures and videos of the girls/women, some of them who are minors, with the alleged intention to blackmail them. The hacker has many screenshots of girls proving his claim.

- one girl being treated so badly by him that she tried to attempt suicide and ended up in hospital. This has been on the Douban news but was taken down due to the pressure of his management.

- Xinyu Liu and his ice dance partner Shiyue Wang allegedly misused the athletes fund for their own entertainment

Shiyue Wang - his ice dance partner - said that they would go against the hackers and have turned this in to the police. Xinyu Liu, who has no access to his accounts on Instagram or Weibo, spoke through Shiyue Wang's account that he had been maliciously attacked and that it's untrue.

Personal note: Here is the thing though that through private DMs part of this accusations that he raped a minor had been shared since September/October 2023 (that's when I heard it). As we see how accusations are handled in IAM (with Nikolaj Sørensen) and the sport in general and how many accusations come to light it's hard to believe all things are false, especially when the poster who hacked the Instagram acc said he has evidence for the crimes and shared some censored "evidence" as well. Survivors don't gain anything with coming forward. The way this came out may have been uncoventional but as a rumor about Xinyu Liu being investigated has been around for a while I have no reason to not side with the survivors.

So my appeal is yet again BELIEVE SURVIVORS!

There are much more ppl accused who are guilty than those that are not. And most cases are never brought to light at all. And the list in this case of the allegations is long. Believe survivors!

Do any of you guys play video games?

I have an Insta dedicated just to my video games. I play all kinds of games from hack-and-slash to shooter but for the most part I post my cozy games because they involve so much decorating and they're prettier.

The cozy games I have played/am playing are Animal Crossing New Horizons, Stardew Valley, Disney Dreamlight Valley, Coral Island, House Flipper, Dinkum, My Time At Portia, My Time At Sandrock, Grow: Song of the Evertree, Fae Farm, Farm Together, No Place Like Home, Cozy Grove, Hokko Life, and a little of Palia though admittedly I'm having a hard time staying interested in Palia.

I've also been playing Hogwarts Legacy, Dragon Quest Builders 2, Witcher III Wild Hunt and have played Dying Light, Days Gone, The Division, Fallout IV, Halo, Fable, Destiny and many more.

Anyway, I made this post in case you guys wanna give me a follow. I'm usually not the type to shamelessly plug but ever since they changed Instagram to only showing people the top posts when they search something, I get absolutely ZERO interactions on my posts. I can't really help. That's probably something a technician might need to help you with. If you get messages from people asking you to click any links or similar embedded messages, don't. Most times, it's a ploy to get your personal information to hack or mess up your devices with viruses.

Porn bots and anything similar on Tumblr (or anywhere else) are infamous for posting nefarious links like that. Or simple scammers asking for something along these lines.

Example: "Hey, I made this. Could you check it out [insert link]"

"Your account has been compromised. To fix it, click here to contact support [insert link]"

It's the same case for any social media platform like Instagram, Facebook, Discord, Twitter, etc.

I'm exactly sure how you can fix it, you might have to talk to someone about that... just don't click any more suspicious links.
