gonna hop on eah tumblr for a bit coz there's so much drama for a dead fandom and i wanna join

ok so, this has prolly been said many times before,, but I don't like the apple and raven switched at birth theory. I feel like it just undermines the main message of the show about predetermined fate v.s. foraging your own, and how people's upbringings contribute to that.

like 'apple was secretly meant to be evil all along' or 'that why raven was so kind and compassionate' -- like,,, isn't that missing the whole point of the show?? The systems in the eah universe are meant to be oppressive/repressive -- and one of the main points, at least in my intrepretation, was should we uphold these damaging systems that confine us, or should we fight against them and create our own path.

i just feel like them being switched at birth,, would be so juvenile, idk if i'm wording this right

one of the most insane subplots of trc was when blue's mum started dating the man who violently murdered ronan's dad and there weren't really any objections. like no one minded

#the gray man really fills the niche of 'character I'd personally have cut since he's kinda unnecessary #and everyone's chill acceptance of him is really weird and inconsistent with their characterisation and the 'normal' morality level shown'#BUT I would also have kept just cause he's SO inexplicably funny. he's just chilling #everyone knows he beat niall lynch to death with a tire iron to the head thus traumatising ronan to the point of suicidal ideation #but they're all like ok water under the bridge. that was ages ago. has he done anything that mean in recent years? probably not #trc #the raven cycle #sapphire's random thoughts

Brandon Stark, The weirwood king.

My interpretation of The summer king Bran “the broken” as ancient weirwood king. Painting inspired by hours of watching David Lightbringer . The weirwood throne grew arround meleted remains of the iron throne which is still burning with remains of dragon fire. The Others were reunited with their tree homes Inside the weirwood and greenseer sits on the throne as the face of the tree. Thus the throne is a vortex of all three sources of magic.
