I am shocked that they invented something *worse* than bury your gays. Create a second version of yourself that is still gay and falls in love with another second version of somebody. But you still have your outside life where you are alone except for your dog and the man you fell in love with is happily married to another man. He's not straight, you weren't his awakening but he was yours and he's happy with another man but you're still lonely and the version of him who loves you and whom you love is dead now and you can never see him again holy shit I'm crying about Irving from severance again please I'm broken

I finished watching Severance recently, and as someone who has mostly worked office jobs before the pandemic... A lot of the horror in this show just hits so hard.
All the actors are so good and I felt so much for them, it’s increadibly good.
Anyway, I just wanted to draw this couple of cute old men having a moment ;A;

There are only 35 published Burving fics on Ao3 atm and I find that to be a personal insult.

Three days ago I stumbled upon this scene and I was like “ha, nice, should give Severance a watch”. So I did. The whole series was just awesome and I liked it a lot. And the progression Irving and Burt wen through was so beatiful.
And then in the last episode they reveal that Burt has someone?!?! How dare they do this to Irving!!!
Disclaimer: I’m happy for Burt but Irving deserves the world (including Burt at his side).
