I’ll do Miguel cause I love him

1.) He was raised by his grandmother after his mother died when he was 2. No idea who his father was, all he’s been told is that his father was “just a drifter in town”. That being said he doesn’t really care to look for him, he’s probably dead (or so he thinks)

2.) He’s not the best with technology as he prefers being outside and doing outdoor stuff rather than watch TV or fumble with a dumb computer. He has an old radio he likes and a flip phone but thats about it. This occasionally leads to minor disagreements about how their daughter learns things. Kimiko insists she use the tablet to learn stuff but Miguel hates that thing and would rather Sunny learn stuff playing outside. They agree to do both in the end but turns out Sunny doesn’t care for that tablet and prefers to be outside with Dad anyway lol

3.) He’s very afraid of heights, this is because of an incident where he attempted to retrieve his hat after the wind blew it over to the edge of the canyon and he accidentally slipped after he grabbed it. Lucky for him the drop wasn’t deadly and there was some slope he could slide on but he did break his arm (ouch)

4.) He likes to make stuff for Kimiko, like he carved a small wood horse for her that looks like Haku and he found an old jug, cleaned it up, painted it pink with white flowers and then he found some wildflowers to put into and gave that to her one their first date. He just really likes going all out for her to show that he loves her (she loves it too lol)

5.) He’s exceptionally chill and rarely gets genuinely angry. A little annoyed but not super angry. The last time he got angry is, before he and Kimiko were dating, when some douche was bugging Kimiko at the local tavern. She waved him off and told him to shove off but this drunk idiot he made the grave error of trying to grab her. Miguel grabbed the dude and punched him so hard it knocked him out (he’s a lot strong than he looks) to defend her lol (Kimiko thought that was hella impressive) So I guess the lesson here is don’t try to do harm to Kimiko unless you want to get your shit kicked in. 😂

omg I HAVE™️ to know more about Aloke

SCREAMS YAYAYAYAY OKOKOK IM GONNA INFO DUMP ABOUT ALOKE (IM GONNA GIVE YOU AN ENTIRE LIST OF ALOKE INFORMATION)

So this big guy on the left is Aloke, He was originally an oc for a role playing thing my friends on discord but I separated him into his own thing because the server we were on got deleted without warning, so most of this stuff is lost to time.

Here’s some basic stuff to know about him:

He’s born in 800 BC to the Surasena Kingdom (Modern day Uttar Pradesh) the universe he’s in is set around the early 1200s, so he’s around 2000 years old (He just says he’s 40, it’s lore relevant I promise)

Here’s some silly stuff I did for research, or what remains of it xD a lot of crossing out of kingdoms, the languages they spoke, etc. it was really fun to do! I know it would’ve been easier for me to just pick out a random place in the era, but I find it more entertaining to add an extra bit of effort-

He’s 8ft tall, and weighs 1 ton.

He didn’t originally look like this! He was a regular guy before the “Au Gods ™️“ cursed him into what he is

He has legs AND a tail! I thought this idea of having the “fish” Aloke is referenced from be an amalgamation of different things whilst ALSO having a pair of legs is a great way to emphasize what an outcast/otherworldly thing he is :0 (he’s also bioluminescent!)

His backstory (still being workshopped into something more coherent, my little hamster brain can only write so much)

he has had 6 children throughout the centuries! (They’re all deceased by the time the story takes place, but he loves them all very much!) His golden fingernails (scales basically) are a genetic trait all his kids have :D

Aloke has had 20-30 lovers in the past, that may seem like a lot, but this spans to almost 2 millennia

BIG soft spot for kids, being a father, he sees his children in every child

He knows every understandable language under the sun, the guy has a lot of free time lmao

Aloke has traveled everywhere in the ocean and land, but he prefers being on land!

All about me

I'm a twenty-four-year-old woman living in wonderful Australia (AEST). I have had this blog for a very long time but only became active over the last three years and only started writing early last year. I'm also busy studying to get a bachelor's in a helping profession. I have a dog and a cat and I love them more than anything.

My blog

First and foremost, please don't follow me if you're under the age of 18. I don't want you here, especially considering the content of what I post. I do not make exceptions even if you coming to talk to me about something that is safe for work.

I don't post fics until they are complete, so unless I've mentioned the story on my blog, some of these answers are not going to make sense to anyone but me, LOL. also, I try to only work on one WIP at a time, but I do have a few partially started/outlined stories sitting in my drafts folder on my hard drive, and I guess they are technically WIPs even if I'm not actively working on them, so here goes nothing...

2. Which of your WIPs is currently the longest?:

Breaking Stereotypes is currently just over 55k words, so definitely that one ;)

3. Which WIP do you expect will end up the longest?:

Probably Breaking Stereotypes?

4. Which WIP is your favourite to write/the most enjoyable to write? Why?:

Currently, I'm only focusing on Breaking Stereotypes, and I'm really looking forward to finishing it and getting it published.

5. Which WIP do you find the most intimidating to write? Why?:

I Taste The Truth is a pretty intimidating story to write. Which probably explains why I haven't even looked at in a few years. why? because it involves a lot of world building since Kurt is part-Fae in that fic, and I want to make sure I can explain things properly without info-dumping, but also make sure that I'm not leaving out important info that lives in my head but a reader might need extra context for.

6. Which WIP do you experience the most self-doubt about. Why?:

again, I Taste The Truth. for all the same reasons that I explained above.

7. Which of your WIPs will you seek out a beta/sensitivity reader for? Why?:

none of them? I've only ever had a beta read a fic if the story was written for a challenge where a beta was a requirement of the challenge.

8. Have any of your WIPs been struck by the curse of writer's block?:

all of them!! that's why their WIPs, LOL. Breaking Stereotypes was fic I started in 2017. I think I put it on official hiatus in 2019, and have only really done minor edits here-and-there until this year when I finally figured out what direction to take the story.

9. Which WIP has your favourite OC? Tell us about them?"

as of right now, Breaking Stereotypes is the only story with an OC. Her name is Candice. She is the manager of Blaine's band as well as Trent's girlfriend (Trent is bi in my fic). She's a smart and snarky, and she takes her job very seriously.

10. Which WIP is the sexiest?:

I don't have a lot written for it yet, but my guess is that You And Me And The Beat will be the sexiest ;)

11. Which WIP is the angstiest?:

I honestly don't know. Andy Hummel's Last Will And Testament, maybe?

12. Which WIP has the best characterisation (in your humble opinion)?:

all of them? again, I don't know. I think my characterization is about equal across all my stories? I could be wrong though.

13. Which WIP has the best scene setting (in your humble opinion)?:

You And Me And The Beat? maybe?

Definitely Breaking Stereotypes.

15. Which WIP do you have the highest expectations for? Why?:

I don't put expectations on my fics. not the way this question implies anyway. the only expectations I have are things like "I expect this to have 20 chapters" or "I expect this to be around 20k words" or "I expect to complete this story by next week". I don't expect anything else from them. I really am that annoying person that writes stories strictly for my own enjoyment because these stories are in my head and I want to get them on paper so I can read them. even though I complain about it, the creative process of bringing these stories to life is the best part of writing fic. I just share the completed stories with the fandom for fun, because I figure there might be other people out there that will enjoy it as much as me. if not, no worries. it made me happy, and that's all that matters.

16. Do you dream about any of your WIPs?:

daydream? yes. I think about all of them often. usually just the one that is my main focus of the moment, but sometimes one of the others likes to remind me it still exists, and tries to command my attention ;) however, I don't usually have dreams about my WIPs. (I have occasionally gotten an idea for a story/WIP because of a dream though)

17. Do any of your WIPs have particular complexities that your other fics don't?:

I Taste The Truth has that element of including Fae attributes and otherworldly components, which makes it different from my other WIP stories.

18. Which WIP is the funniest or has the most humour?:

The Escape Plan is a fun and silly fic.

19. Do any of your WIPs contain outside POVs or a deep dive on a character other than the main ship? How are you finding that process?:

nope. sorry.

I honestly can't remember what I have or have not shared about each of these fics, so I don't know what you don't know. but if you have questions you can always feel free to send me an ask! I love talking about my fics with people.

Anyways some brainrot

-They’ve always been very competitive with each other ever since they met, when they were younger they could be deemed as full-on rivals even lol. The “I can do anything better than you!” Spark has died down since, especially since Anri can be sensitive about how their combat skills have been effected by losing an eye, but they’ll still have friendly competitions over small things.

-Marie’s singing habit effects Anri, sorta like how when one wolf starts howling the whole pack makes noise. When Marie starts singing Anri sorta just instinctively joins in lol

-Some background for Anri and Marie, when he first came back from the events of OE he was pretty traumatized since 1. Lost for a year in the metro 2. Lost his apartment 3. Lost all his possessions and pet birds 4. Lost all function in his right eye+nerve damage ….so he uh literally didn’t go outside for another year. After moving into a new place (Craig brought him a new apartment and furniture out of guilt) Anri became a total shut in, but Marie would come by every day to drop off food goodies in attempt to talk to him. There’s a whole doc behind their story that I probably shouldn’t info dump the entirety of here but lel

-Anri is Marie’s very first romantic interest! Marie assumed she was ace since she was always never interested in dating, turns out she’s demisexual with bisexual swag!

-Anri’s favorite song from the Squid Sisters is Marie’s solo, Tide Goes Out! Marie herself doesn’t know this

-They are both so dumb of ass holy shit

-Marie gets super flustered when Anri flirts with her in front of the new 3 (Sai), “we can’t hold hands in front of the new agent THATS INAPPROPRIATE”

-Marie’s Agent casual attire has it’s hat brim to the side because of Anri fucking with her, Anri’s Cap’n hat brim is to the side because of Marie getting her revenge on him

-Anri, Marie, n Sai sorta act like a family unit especially since Anri legally adopts Sai some point after the events of Splat 3 hero campaign (buncha oc lore maybe one day I will elaborate)

-The two are constantly near each other or touching in some capacity

🍍: Where does your OC feel most comfortable?

This is such an interesting one. I feel like there isn't a particular place where Lariel is more comfortable than others. Though she is very uncomfortable and nervous in big groups and crowds. Easily overwhelmed by a large amounts of people. But on the flip side her 'comfort' with being alone has more to do with that it's what she's used to. It isn't very good for her I'd say. She even knows this. So I would say her most comfortable place whenever she is beside a trusted close friend.

🍓: Does your OC have any particular scents they like? Or hate?

I think Lariel tends to favor sweet and light scents with some slightly earthy or citrus notes. Jasmine, gardenia, lily, plumeria. She doesn't want it to be too strong, just a hint.

As for hates, I think she isn't that particular for the scent itself but more if it's TOO MUCH. She'll easily get a headache. Some nobles can wear a bit too much. In my mind when she finally meets Kraler it's a trait he has she hates. HAH

🍩: What's a crime your OC is most likely to commit? What's a crime they're most likely to get arrested for?

YAY! Love crimes! Honestly. I think Lariel has the vibe where she's much more likely to actually get away with something. She looks too sweet and perhaps has that air of nobility (though it's not her intention at all!) That keeps people from really pursuing arresting her. A little it the 'not worth the potential trouble' vibe. That's my hot take. They'd have to really have it out for her. Her brother though… this list would be much longer LMAO

As for crimes she'd commit: Aiding and abetting, disturbing the peace, forgery, identity theft, vandalism, loitering, trespassing, perjury, theft, evading arrest.

🍰: What's something your OC counts as unforgivable?

Such a good question for him. He has such different standards for himself vs others. Unforgivable for others to do to him… I think honestly he's got no real moral code, so usually he gets annoyed and angry with 'did you try to stop him from doing the thing he wanted to do'. But as for UNFORGIVABLE as in you've gone past the point of no return… Interesting… This is hard. He has no moral backbone… I think betrayal. If he ever felt truly betrayed by someone. When I say betrayed I mean he dropped his guard and on some level felt understood or liked by someone, and then they used that against him. Intentionally or not. What counts as a betrayal really depends on the person I think.

🍇: What sort of friend are they? Where are they in the group dynamic?

This is so funny as a question for him. He lives in an interesting limbo space that I will try to describe.

For him to consider you ‘his friend’ requires a lot. He's usually a very causal person. He hates shallow ‘pointless’ conversations. He can have them, but they mean nothing to him. He could talk to the same bartender everyday for a year and simply not give a fuck about them. If someone never goes past simple small talk he will barely remember them. It takes a lot for him to consider someone his ‘friend’. I imagine there are people who might have considered him their friend even though he will simply forget their existence once they are out of sight. He is not easily attached to others.

When he considers someone his friend he is very ‘ride or die’. But that’s because of how much it takes for him to get to that point. A 'friend' requires a level of trust and vulnerability he is not often capable of. He isn’t supposed to drop his guard or let people in, by the very nature of his work. He can’t let anyone be his ‘weakness’ so he feels he must keep people at arms length. So if he gets attached… well… then he’s a very passionate and intense kind of person.

The only time he was in a 'dynamic' he was kind of just in the group first as a joke. Like when a popular kid chooses a weirdo to keep as a pet. He was always the third wheel. I think he finds himself feeling out of place and awkward in most conversations where he's attached to someone and they are talking to someone else. If things just remained 'causal' he can more easily banter, flirtation, aggression, indifference. But if he actually gives a fuck about someone he feels very uncomfortable, because he feels like he has to hide from others, but craves that honesty and raw connection from whomever he's latched on to.

Time to introduce my OCs‼️

Oh boy! Here we are!

Since I’m beginning to use tumblr, I can now finally introduce my trio of disasters! I’ve been waiting a while to start talking about them, and I think putting them here is better than info dumping on my private account lol. With that out of the way, let’s go!

VIOLET STARIUS⭐️🌙

(Funfact: She’s the newest of my ocs, being first made only a month or two ago! Loosely inspired by Liko, but she’s changed quite a lot since then!)

The first, and youngest of the trio! Violet is 14 years old, her birthday being January 31st. She’s a curious, intelligent, somewhat shy gal. Kind, empathetic, caring, and wants to help others. She loves space -and in the pokémon version of her- pokémon as well. You’ll find her reading, drawing something, or playing her violin, and while she’s a bit nervous, she’s open to try new things to learn them, as she wants to learn what does the world around her hold! Though, Violet’s a bit forgetful, clumsy, and gets lost easily…She’s also a bit of a people pleaser, and is terrible at lying. The heart of the group, as she’s why the three have managed to form a strong friendship.

Violet has the ability to use telekenesis, via focusing energy using her hand onto objects (or people!) to move them around, to wherever she wants them to go. She can also see in the dark, hear very well, and her eyes glow in the dark for some reason…While she doesn’t like to fight, she’s good at dodging and using the oppenent’s movements against them.

FROST AURORA❄️🏹

The second of the trio! Frost is 15 years old, his birthday is December 25th! He’s a more reserved/aloof guy. He’s also quite smart, especially in terms of tactics and fights! Frost is swift, chilling, and tenacious! Sassy, and he can get angry or spiteful. Despite this, he’s pretty considerate, and stands up for what he believes is right. Frost is somewhat stubborn, antisocial, but he wants to do the right thing. You’ll find him practicing the gutiar, drawing, or thinking. He wants to find his purpose and be strong for those he cares for -even if it means taking drastic measures.

Frost has the power to cool the temperature of stuff to the point it’ll freeze, being able to create ice and snow out of the water droplets in the air. He can manipulate ice too, and he’s skilled with a bow and arrow! He usually goes in for a fast attack, then getting out of the opponent's range until they’ve been defeated, though he knows how to put up a fight in close quarters as well.

CITRINE GOLDENHEART🗡️💛

(I still need to actually draw her, but this will have to do for now. Fun fact, the first concept of her was “what if this cartoon character was in pokémon”)

The last, and the oldest of the three! Citrine is 16 years old, and her birthday is on April 13th! An adventurous, hot-headed, brave and passionate girl. She can be impulsive and sometimes fails to consider the consequences of others, but she means well! Outgoing, reckless, and tackles things head on! She’s the most athletic of the three, being physically strong with good stamina. Citrine’s also very persistent, and will literally refuse to give up. Ever. It’s both one of her greatest strengths and flaws. She likes to play the drums, or go for a run, and…write? I know, surprising, but she loves creating stories, to tell during her journey or inspired by her adventures!

Citrine is real good with a sword, she was very excited when she found one! Turns out she likes stabbing and slashing whatever stands in her way! She’s best in close combat, using her sword to deliver strong attacks to deal a lot of damage! She tends to get hit, but being so perseverant and stubborn allows her to keep fighting until her opponent falls.

I hope that wasn’t too boring to read, but now I’ve introduced my main OCs! I’ll probably ramble about them on here, if you don’t like that sorry lol, this is my blog im the one writing about these idiots at 10 pm

Soo on this one I'm gonna list my headcanons/facts and if there's a difference between the versions I write here I will point that out. And then some specific things for my rise usagi cause he sort like an oc for the universe for me?

Usagi loves flowers actually they are pretty his favorite flower being the cherry blossom. He has an odd love for just how short they last.

Not religious but dose believe in the idea of fate.

Usagi favorite drink is tea but only hot, if hes going alcohol its normally sake or soju

Usagi really really really hates the heat, rabbits can't handle it well. Gets a bit moody when its too hot.

Rabbit tend to chew and snack on things often so Usagi tends to keep things on hand for himself at all times so if you're hungry least you know he always has food on him.

more affectionate ones can make him flustered Persnailty traits:

He is a bit of a clean freak. Part of his time studying with his teacher he ran a lot of chores around their home for them (to teach the rabbit patience) has a bit of a habit of picking up around him because he taught was so strict about messes being left behind.

Usagi is a well-displiened warrior sure so he's so the "I'm the responsible one" type yeah don't buy that this guy comes off being only serious and collected nah he's a full-blow dork and he gave his poor teacher Katsuichi plenty of headaches.

Usagi is pretty introverted. He's quite even when around others he's the one who maybe only says like two things the whole time. unless he's alone with like Josielynn or Leo he's a bit more chatty with them.

Usagi is someone who does spend a good amount of time by himself. Nothing wrong withthat he's someone who doesn't mind his own company and sometimes needs the alone time. However he's also very quick to accept the company of another.

Is pretty soft spoken, and can be a bit awkward around others.

lost his first love (2003/2012) Usagi first love was a girl named Mirako he was in sort of love triangle along with another boy his rival Kenichi. They both left to become samurai's and would both eventually return home after their own time spent working on that goal. Kenichi didn't end fulfilling this path and ended up staying back in their home. Usagi knew that because Kenichi would be there Mirako and him would end up together.

Rise Usagi dated Mariko she was his first love and more, however, things were not all that great between them despite Usagi feeling they could work it out no matter what. Usagi always assumed she was his fated partner. Mirako eventually left Usagi for Kenichi

It hurt of course and his first love has always stuck with him in that the hurt never truly left. Often usagi find himself feeling there will always be someone better than him and this can carry into future relationships

Parents: Usagi left to train at a very younger age, his father started his training he admires them greatly. But his teacher Katsuichi can have more credit for raising him (usagi dose see them as a father figure but never admits to it). Usagi's father did however die which hurts because he wasn't there when it happened and he lost out on time with his dad (his mother would also sometime after)

Josielynn being the expectation, shes to him is very much his sister. And it's why he is ridiculously protective he doesn't want to lose any more family. And she's the last he has.

The rest I'll sum up cauuuse they don't apply to Rise verse but do for 2003 and 2012. Lost his master, killed right at his side. Leaving him to feel he still had more to learn, Being why he is ronin or a traveling student as he calls himself. Lost his best friend because he killed them. The man he considers to be his best friend betrayed his master and is why they died. Loyal to his master he killed his best friend Loyal to his best friend he made sure they were properly buried. LOST HIS PET! For a short time he has a pet tokage (lil dino like creatures in his world) named spot. His only company after being alone for so long but he found someone else needed them more then he did so he let them go. Some Rise verse stuff

When it comes to voice claims for usagi I've seen so many good choices from others that i would love to happen (Steven Yun especially in truth) However to me I decided on Johnny Young Bosch especially in this character role the characters personality sort fits how I write usagi [2][3][4] a few more examples on the VA just cause I really like the voice XD

Rise Usagi's personality I take from mostly how Usagi acted as a teen in the comics. Rash, cocky, impatience and having a temper. I also took 2003 more friendly approach to others with these sense of humor. I also take some of 2012 grumpy moody self cause grumpy bunny is cute. When it comes writing this one at least

Since the turtle have species specified I like to think of Usagi as a flop rabbit (american Fuzzy Lop yes cause fuzzy is in the name XD)

And This was gonna be the end but then me and a friend had some dumb joke about space jam and usagi playing basket ball then we remembered the turtles play basket ball so here we are

I generally treasure Usagi's interactions with the turtles and maybe it cause I know this guy lost so much that it just warms my heart to think about sooo I see the turtles as the kind of friend who pull people into their interests so I can see them getting Usagi to play with them.
