This is canon divergent because in this version of adult Henry is main Henry and Lucy is his daughter. Alice is Hope's twin here. Robin didn't die. Well it’s officially been a week of gifts. Hopefully the gifts haven’t been disappointing and made you at least crack a smile. Is there anything you’d like to see or have me mix in?? Any advice??

Without further ado here is todays gift.

Summary: Henry surprises his mother with a visit home around the holidays. But he comes home to the house not decorated and a strange man is there. (Inspired by A Muppets Family Christmas)

Haul out the holly

We’re getting home so we can celebrate

Fill up the stockings

We may be rushing but we can hardly wait now

For we need a little Christmas, right this very minute

Jacinda reached over and turned down the radio, “Henry are you sure your moms is going to be okay with this?”

“Oh absolutely! Cin you need to know one thing about my mom she’s predictable.” Henry glanced at his girlfriend, seeing one eyebrow lifted and her lips quirked to the side, looking back at the road he continued, “Look I know exactly what she is doing right now. She sitting in our house, everything decorated tree in the corner. She sitting on the couch, wrapped in a blanket, in front of the fire, cup of hot chocolate with cinnamon in her hands. Just a bit sad thinking she will spend the holidays alone. Trust me she will be thrilled.”

“Mhmm,” Jacinda hummed, still unsure this surprise is going to go as Henry said.

They continued to drive down the road as snow flurries began to fall on the scenery. It wasn’t long before they passed an intricately carved sign reading ‘Welcome to Storybrooke.’ And not long after that they pulled up to a blue Victorian style house starting to be covered in a layer of snow.

“Hmmm?”

Jacinda paused before getting out the car looking over at her boyfriend who seemed busy scanning the house. “What?”

“She didn’t decorate the outside like we usually do.”

“Oh?”

“I’m sure it’s nothing. Come on.” Henry got out of the car racing up the steps, Jacinda following cautiously behind him.

Henry knocked on the door with in minutes it flew open. He was welcomed with the sight of his mother. Her eyes went wide and her jaw dropped. It took her a moment of her opening and closing her mouth blinking rapidly before she was able to muster up words.

“Henry?”

“Hi mom.”

A forced chuckle escaped her lips and a smile crept to her face and she moved aside to allow him in and enveloped him in a hug. Jacinda didn’t miss when the smile dropped for a moment over Henry’s shoulder.

“Henry what are you doing here?” She asked pulling out of the hug.

“I can’t come home.”

Emma gave him a light tap on his arm causing him to laugh, “Of course you can. But I thought you were staying at school for the break?”

Henry shrugged, “We wanted to surprise you.”

It was in that moment she realized there was someone else with her son. “Jacinda?”

“Hi Ms Swan.”

Emma came forward taking the girls hand, “it’s so good to finally meet you in person.”

“You as well Ms Swan.”

“So? Do you like your surprise?” Henry asked, wanting a little bit to prove his girlfriend wrong.

“Yes! I always love seeing you,” she shifted slightly, “It’s just that…”

Henry took a look around and saw his childhood home was bare completely unlike the Christmas he knew growing up. “Mom where is everything? Where’s the tree? The lights? The garland?”

“Well-” Before she was able to answer everyone’s attention was drawn to the sound of footsteps coming down the stairs. A man with greying in his bread and hair came bounding down the stairs.

“Who was at the door-” the man looked up before finishing his sentence, “oh hello.”

“Hi,” Henry greeted then turned to his mother, “mom who’s that?”

The gentleman spoke up again, “Ah you must be Henry,” he continued down the stairs approaching the small group with his hand out stretched, “a pleasure.”

Henry cautiously took his hand, “Yeah. I’m sorry who are you?”

“My apologies. Killian Jones I’m-“

“Renting the house!”

Everyone turned at Emma loud interruption.

She let out a nervous laugh, “Kid you know how much I love the beach. When I found out you weren’t coming home I decided to treat myself and take a trip down the coast and have a sandy Christmas instead of being cooped up here. You know all by myself.” Her eyes nervously shifting between her son and the man next to her, “I didn’t want to house to sit so Mr Jones was going to stay here.”

Henry and Jacinda looked back at the man who’s smile now seemed tighter, “Aye. I usually live on my boat figured I could get my land legs back this season and have a nice quiet Christmas.”

“I’m sorry if we have ruined both of your plans,” Jacinda spoke up, eyeing her boyfriend, “we should’ve called.”

“It’s quite alright lass.”

Henry spoke up again, “I’m sorry Mr Jones. Will it take you long to gather your things? I’m sure my mom would be willing to give you a refund.”

Killian reached up and scratched behind his ear, “Unfortunately I can’t leave. My boat is in storage and with the storm coming in it doesn’t seem safe to be on it now. And with it being a week from Christmas I doubt any inns will be available.”

“I’m sure we can figure something out later. Henry why don’t you go get your guys luggage and take it up to your room.”

“Let me help you lad,” Killian offered.

As Henry turned exited back out the door missing the silent exchange Mr Jones had with his mother. But Jacinda didn’t.

When they were gone emma turned to Jacinda and smiled, “I guess we have some decorating to do. Mind helping me bring some up from the basement?”

“Lead the way.”

Hi can you tell me why there is two cinderella's and rapunzel's in ooat? is it a canon plot point or retcon? i only watched the first season.

Oooo, thank you for letting me use my rewatch knowledge to gush about this situation, nonnie!

SPOILERS AHEAD (tho I do recommend finishing the show, at least the first 6, if you ever find the time):

So, throughout the first six seasons, Cinderella (Ashley), played by Jessy Schram, had three more appearances in the universe post-season 1. One very brief one in the Pilot of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, one in season 4 (The Snow Queen), and her final appearance in the show was in her second and last stand-alone episode in season six, The Other Shoe. Season six was about Untold Stories in the beginning and The Other Shoe details how Tremaine and Ashley's stepsister Clorinda ended up in the Land of Untold Stories and when they get back to Storybrooke, Ashley has to face off against Tremaine. The episode ends with Ashley and Clorinda happy with their respective husband and fiance, and Tremaine being punished for her actions. Therefore, the original Ella's story had a happy ending and was done.

In season seven, essentially a soft reboot of the show, Henry has graduated school and wants to discover other versions of classic stories, most importantly his own, and he ends up meeting Cinderella (now played by Dania Ramirez in a different iteration, from a different Realm) and long story short, they get married and have a kid. Her story is a lot bigger (but strangely she does barely anything in the season at the same time) than original Ella's but I could have done without her entirely. Dania Ramirez did her best but they didn't give her much and I would have rather they made Henry's girlfriend from earlier seasons his wife.

Now Rapunzel (played by Alexandra Metz originally) had one stand-alone episode in season 3 (The Tower), which mostly deviated from the Tangled movie and the original story but still had Rapunzel reunite with her parents again. The Tower was original Rapunzel's one and only appearance in the show.

Now, season seven Rapunzel is a whole other monster. I absolutely despise the direction they took with the character in this new iteration and let me explain why. Her first appearance this season is in the episode entitely "Eloise Gardener", where Meegan Warner plays a much more Tangled version of the character. However, at the end of the episode it is revealed that Rapunzel is not Rapunzel at all and that she is actually Mother Gothel, who pretended to be her to get Wish Realm Hook to impregnate her so she could escape the tower she got locked in and leave her daughter (Wish Realm Alice in Wonderland) to take her place. Real Rapunzel comes back in two episodes later (One Little Tear) and in this episode it is revealed that Rapunzel was actually Lady Tremaine the whole time. She was locked in the tower for stealing vegetables from Gothel, leaving behind her husband and two daughters for years. When she manages to escape from the tower and returns home (guided by the lanterns), she finds her husband remarried to Ella's mother and her younger daughter, Drizella, estranged from her. They all try to make it work for a while but it doesn't for Rapunzel, so she ends up cursing her husband and Ella's mother's hearts which has Ella's mother flee to Wonderland where she is killed by the Jabberwocky and Tremaine ends up killing her husband after Anastasia breaks through ice and Gothel has to preserve her last breath (and therefore her body). Rapunzel is the one who locked Gothel in the tower after Gothel manipulated her into getting rid of Ella's mother and Anastasia's accident.

Present day curse has Victoria (Tremaine) try everything to revive Anastasia as she did in the other realm too and still hating Drizella for being estranged from her all those years ago. Drizella has been playing her own game all along and cursed everyone to Seattle. In the end, Victoria is killed in a sacrifice to revive Lucy (Henry and Ella's daughter) and mother and daughter sort of make up but it's a dumb ending to a dumb plot twist all around.

Ouat 7x14 Captain Cobra 2.0 deleted scene humor

So, the gist is Henry and Rogers walk up to the Rollin' Bayou to question Jacinda if she's seen Tilly the day prior, therefore confirming Tilly's innocent alibi to being a serial killer. In it, these glorious lines happened (my transcription might be wink wonky since the audio is crap in this one). Henry: So, you sure the maybe murderer is gonna be okay in my apartment? Rogers: I told you, Tilly will be fine. But will you be alright talking to Jacinda? Henry: Yeah, of course. Why would you even say that? Rogers: Well, it’s ‘cause I saw Ivy leave your apartment late last night.

Henry: (interjecting quickly) Dude! Could you be a little louder next time?

Rogers: I mean, I must say Henry, I didn’t have you pegged for dating sisters. (cheekily) That’s living on the edge.

Henry: Nobody says that. (regrets then segues like he wasn't awkward) Hey, uh, anyways, how’s Lucy doing?

Smile for Venom: Marvel's Spider-Man 2 team previews their spin on a classic villain

[...] Before Intihar heads to San Diego Comic-Con to promote the title on the Hall H grand stage with senior narrative director Jon Paquette and senior art director Jacinda Chew, all three spoke with EW about creating a unique take on the classic villain of Marvel comics.

"It's really interesting when you start thinking about what makes him different than Spider-Man," Chew says. "The symbiote is often known as an allegory for the darkness that the host is fighting against. So what makes him an anti-Spider-Man?"

[...] "We wanted to try something very different, and I don't think you can get much more different from Doc Ock than you do Venom," Intihar explains. "It's about power, it's about strength, it's about being slighted, it's about Peter being involved much more in the creation of Venom. I think that's what attracted us."

"One of the things that is great about Spider-Man as a character is he's always got to make sacrifices," Paquette adds. "The symbiote provides a lot of grist for that mill, so to speak."

[...] According to Paquette, the story is about "what happens when that darkness takes over." It's not just Peter who's impacted by the symbiote. "It's the loved ones and the family around the host who has to see what's happening to the person that they love," he adds. "There's a lot of juicy drama that we can get from that."

As for the look of Venom, Chew confirms there are specific story details that had a direct impact on the character's design. The spider insignia is one of them. "One of the challenges we had throughout production was, how much does [Venom] talk?" she says. "I remember we did some concepts early on [of] does Venom have lips? Does he laugh? Does he smile? Does he frown? It's a fine line between making this creature scary and intimidating, but then also, I guess, relatable."

"For us, Venom is the host plus the symbiote," Intihar adds. "You don't get Venom without both of them being bonded together. What Tony represents is that bond. I think, if anything, casting Tony made us feel more confident in the visual design of the character."

More information on Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will be revealed during Thursday's Comic-Con panel, which kicks off at 2:30 p.m. PT in Hall H with Intihar, Paquette, Chew, Lowenthal, Jeter, Bailey, Todd, game director Ryan Smith, and Marvel Games VP and creative director Bill Rosemann.
