Power dank der Kraft der Sonne

Powerstation + Solarpanel. Warum haben wir uns für die Jackery 240 und das SolarSaga 80W, das dazu passenden Solarpanel von Jackery entschieden?

Wie bereits in einem vorherigen Beitrag ausführlich beschrieben, haben wir unsere ganz individuellen Anforderungen zu Grunde gelegt. Darauf bezogen, hätten auch verschiedene Powerstations auch anderer Hersteller gepasst. Wir haben gut 4 Monate nachgeforscht und abgewartet. Am Ende ist es das Set mit der Jackery 240 und dem SolarSaga 80W geworden. Aber warum?

Erstmal bietet die 240 bereits alles was wir brauchen. Zweitens war das Sonderangebot ausschlaggebend, also der Preis des Sets. Ein weiterer Aspekt war die Baugröße und das Gewicht. Natürlich geht es aber auch um die Leistungsmerkmale und die einfache Handhabbarkeit. Und bei einem solchen Set ist zudem garantiert das auch alles zusammen passt und funktioniert.

Im Lieferumfang ist neben der Powerstation und dem Solarpanel, ein Netzteil für Landstromanschluss, ein Powerkabel für 12V Anschluss im Fahrzeug, eiin Anschlusskabel für das Solarpanel anzuschließen und eine Bedienungsanleitung. Das Set wurde in einer sehr guten und schützenden Verpackung geliefert. Alles wirk hochwertig, stabil und übersichtlich.

Welche Anschlüsse bietet die 240? Neben der Ladebuchse, haben wir USB Buchsen, eine 12 Powerkabel Buchse und ein AC Anschluss für den üblichen Stromstecker. Dabei ist zu beachten, dass sich jede Buchse für die Stromabgabe einzeln ein- und ausschalten bzw. zuschalten lässt. Das birgt Vorteile. Das kleine LCD Display bietet die wichtigesten Infos über das was aktuell an Strom in W abgegeben wird, was eingeht und den Ladezustand in Prozent und einer Balkendarstellung.

Übrigens: Die Kühlbox um Verlust zu vermeiden, schließen wir direkt an die 12V Buchse mittels des Powerkabels an. Nicht über den Schuckostecker an der Kühlbox! Die Jackery läd mit 57W über das im Lieferumfang enthaltene Netzteil am Landstrom. Bei der Lieferung war es mit 25% vorgeladen und schaffte die 100% nur wenige Stunden nachdem ich diese ans Stromnetz gehängt hatte.

Wer Werkzeuge einen Haarföhn oder gar eine elektronische Kochplatte betreiben will muss sich für ein Modell mit mehr Leistung entscheiden. Jackery bietet eine große Bandbreite ganz verschiedener Systeme für diverese Einsatzfelder an. Die sind dann logischerweise auch entsprechend teurer und größer, wie auch schwerer. Doch bei uns schwingt auch immer der Gedanke mit, dass wir das zulässige Gesamtgewicht des VW Busses beachten müssen und es summiert sich nunmal durch alles was man da so mitnimmt.

Wir haben einen zentralen Platz für alles was mit Strom zu tun hat. Von hier führt das Kabel eines Mehrfachsteckers zu einer Kabeltrommel, deren Kabel wir wiederum an der Hecktür rausführen können wenn wir Landstrom abnehmen. Daher passt auch die kleine Jackery 240 hier gut hin. Unterhalb steht die Kühlbox und auf der übrigen Ablagefläche unter dem TV Gerät liegen nachts auch die Handys zum Laden. Mit einem Gurt gesichert ist die Jackery hier gut verstauen. Und das SolarSaga 80W zu transportieren ist im VW Bus auch kein Problem.

Die Tasche des SolarSaga 80W zeigt was an diesem Panel so besonders ist. Das Panel ist transparent und kann beidseitig laden. Die Tasche reflektier die Sonne auf die Rückseite des Panels und bringt dadurch zusätzlich ca. 5-7W. Grundsätzlich ist die Tasche für den Ladevorgang nicht zwingend nötig. Wird das Panel nicht benötigt, ist die Aufbewagrung in dieser Tasche zum Schutz des Panels vorgesehen. Ziemlich gut durchdachte neueste Technologie, die überzeugt.

Jackery hat damit ein maximal effektiv nutzbares Solarpanel im Angebot. Wer es braucht kann an diesem Panel auch direkt ein zweites Panel des gleichen Typs anschließen. Würden wir also später ggf. auf eine größere Jackery umsteigen, könnten wir das Panel weiter einsetzen und bei Bedraf für mehr Leistung erweitern. Für die Jackery 240 ist das nicht erforderlich, da hier die Stromaufnahme begrenzt ist und das Panel bie ausreichend Sonne genauso gut läd als wäre die Box am Stromnetz angeschlossen.

Beachtliche Leistung, denn im errsten kurzen Test, bei guter Wintersonne und dank der Reflektionstasche (wenn diese auch gut ausgerichtet ist) erreichen wir 58W. Super - funzt! Wenn auch ihr euch für eine solche Lösung interessiert, so empfehle ich euch vorher einige YouTube Test anzusehen und euch auch darüber hinaus umfangreich zu informieren. Aktuell sind gute Angebote verfügbar, doch ihr solltet euch nicht stressen beim Kauf einer solchen Lösung. Nehmt euch Zeit und vergleicht und entscheidet euch erst, wenn eurer Favorit entsprechend einmal im Angebot ist.

Wir sind zuversichtlich, dass uns die Jackery 240 + SolarSaga 80W gute Dienste leisten wird. Denkt aber daran, dass nach einigen Aldevorgängen die Leistung bei jeder dieser Lösungen nachlässt. Ich glaube Jackery gibt an nach ca. 500 Ladezyklen, dass sich die Leistung auf ca. 80% reduziert. Im Zweifel lasst euch durch einen Fachverkäufer beraten. Alle Angaben die ich hier mache, sind natürlich ohne jegliche Gewähr! Vorteil von kleineren mobilen Systemen ist zudem auch, dass ihr sie auch in anderen Fahrzeugen mitnehmen könnt und auch zum Angeln oder für eure Party mobil einsetzen könnt!

Mehr Freiheit dank Powerstation

Nicht immer steht ein Landstromanschluss zur Verfügung. Schön wenn man dann eine eigene Stromversorgung hat. Und wenn es auch nur mal für ein bis zwei Tage/Nächte erforderlich ist.

Wann und warum macht es für uns Sinn eine Powerstation + Solarpanale zu nutzen? Ich unterstreiche dabei "für uns", denn jeder mag da ganz andere Anforderungen haben und auch ein anderes Budget. Also kommen wir einmal zu dem Punkt wann und warum.

Heute machen viele Besitzer eines Wohnmobil oder Campers ihre Fahrzeuge in irgendeiner Form ein stückweit autark. Bisweilen mit großen Solarpanelen die fest auf dem Dach verschraubt oder verklebt sind. Damit können sie teilweise den gesamten Strombedarf und ggf. auch alternativ die Stromversorgung über die Steckdosen im Fahrzeug betreiben. Das kann ziemlich aufwendig werden und auch kostspielig. Den Möglichkeiten sind allein vom Budget Grenzen gesetzt. Das ist bei uns erstmal nicht anders.

Wieso, weshalb, warum?

Für uns gibt es aber prinzipiell einen ganz konkreten Bedarf. Wir haben festgestellt, dass es nötig ist bspw. unsere Kühlbox am Laufen zu halten und sie für einen Zeitraum von ein paar Stunden unabhängig vom Landstrom oder der Autobatterie mit Strom versorgen zu können. Dabei verwenden wir einen handelsübliche kleine Kühlbox. Ferner haben wir festgestellt, dass wir auch immer wieder mehrere Smartphones, Tablelts oder Chromebooks bzw. Notebooks nachladen müssen oder auch mal eine Bluetooth Box oder Kopfhörer oder den Akku des WLAN Routers.

Es gibt da noch ein paar Dinge, die aber in gewisser Weise in solchen Momenten auch verzichtbar sind. Zum Beispiel den Fernseher, Haarföhn oder Laden der eScooter. Das sind dann Dinge, die wir auch einsetzen oder laden können, wenn wieder Landstrom zur Verfügung haben, wie bspw. auf einem Campingplatz. Beschreiben wir mal die Situation. Beispiel: Wir fahren nach Sankt-Peter-Ording. Über Nacht stehen wir dort in der Regel auf einem Campingplatz. Also können wir nicht nur die Sanitäranlagen nutzen und dort bspw. Haare föhnen, sondern auch den Fernseher nutzen und die eScooter und alles andere laden. Und wir können hier auch die Kühlbox am laufen halten.

Auf der Fahrt kann es ja schon mal eng werden und wir wollen auch nicht über die Maßen die Batterie des Busses belasten und über den Tag geht es ja dann auch in der Regel an den Strand. Da kann dann ein Smartphone-, Chromebook-Akku schon mal schnell leer werden. Aber selbst wenn wir nur die Kühlbox mit Strom versorgen wollen, sind wir dann darauf angewiesen, das am Ende des tages das Auto auch noch anspringt. Wir also nicht die Batterie des Fahrzeugs leer gelutscht haben. Kurz gesagt, man hat in bestimmten Fällen oder an bestimmten Orten nunmal keine Möglichkeit sich direkt ans Stromnetz zu hängen.

Wir haben aber auch festgestellt, dass es auch mal eine Nacht ohne Landstrom versorgung gehen muss. Es ist selbst auf einem Stellplatz oder Campingplatz ab und zu nicht möglich Strom zu bekommen. Gerade, wenn der Platz ziemlich voll ist, man aber noch ein "Notplätzchen" erhalten kann. In der Vergangenheit konnten wir uns mit unserer kleinen Powerbank und einem eher schwächlichen Solarpanel im Notfall gerade so helfen, doch diese Powerbanke bekommen irgendwie ständig Füße. Einmal hat sie klammheimlich der Junior gemopst und weg war sie, ein anderes Mal wurde sie uns am Flughafen in Stansed/UK einkassiert, weil wir nicht darauf geachtet hatten, das das Teil nicht mit an Bord des Fliegers darf. Auf die Dauer ein teurer Spaß.

Eine Powerstation musste her!

Kommen wir nochmal kurz auf die Kühlbox zu sprechen. Auf dem Aufkleber in der Kühlbox sind in der Regel Angaben zu deren Strombedarf gemacht und so lässt sich auch leicht durchrechnen, ob und wie lange eine Kühlbox mit einer Poerstation betrieben werden kann. Kalkulieren wir mit 47 W sollte so eine Kühlbox ein paar Stunden betrieben werden können. Wir haben eine Thermoelektrische, die über 12 V und 220 V betrieben werden kann.

Tipp: Kühlakkus verwenden und die Kühlbox vor der Abfahrt schon auf Betriebstemperatur bringen, dann braucht die weniger Strom.

Powersstation? Die Teile sind nicht ganz billig. Im Prinzip geht es bei ca. 250 Euro los und wer gleich richtig Power haben will, der kann auch 1.500-2.000 Euro ausgeben. Dann ist ggf. ein Solarpanel noch nicht mal dabei. Und die richtige Powerstation zu finden, keine leichte Aufgabe! Oft leisten die Dinger auch nicht was die Hersteller versprechen. Unser Budget ist dann ja auch nicht endlos! Und autark ist man dann auch nur, wenn man auch gleich ein gutes Solarpanel dazu hat. Das sollte dann auch alles zusammenpassen, damit es am Ende auch funktioniert.

Wir haben uns nun für die Jackery 240 mit einem SolarSaga 80W Solarpanel entschieden. Das gab es im Set und und zum Aktionspreis. Wir konnten bei einem Nachlass zum regulären Listenpreis von 61% nicht wiederstehen und haben zugeschlagen. Wie gesagt, so richtig Sinn macht es erst, wenn wir dann auch die Kraft der Sonne nutzen kann. Gleichzeitige laden und entladen funktioniert bei der Jackery 240 zudem auch. Solange also mehr reinkommt als rausgeht läd sie noch. Ein wichtiger Punkt, denn das können nicht alle Powerstations.

Die Jackery 240 gibt es bereist länger schon auf dem Markt. Das Solar Saga80 ist ganz neue Technologie. Das Panale generiert von beiden Seiten Strom und dazu dient die Tasche, welche als Reflektor eingesetzt wird. Das kann zusätzlich noch ein paar Watt bringen, deren Erzeugung sonst nicht möglich wäre. Die Jackery 240 reicht schon für viele Anwendungen aus, sollte also für unseren konkreten Bedraf passen!. Jackery ist ein bekannter namhafter Hersteller aus den USA mit guten Rezessionen und bietet ein gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis Für uns im Zusammenhang mit unserem Bulli bringt uns ganz sicher schon ein ganzes Stück nach vorn!
