Nicknames

James - When he was younger he either got called James or sometimes Jamie by his family. Once he started Hogwarts he wanted to try and separate himself from his grandfather and preferred to be called Jimmy/ Jamie or Jay.

Albus - Albus actually preferred to be called Albus but everyone usually ignored his preference and calls him Al anyway. Some of his closer friends and family call him Albie, which again, he hates.

Lily - She usually went by Lily or Lils but Harry called her Lily-Lou which she pretended to hate but secretly liked even though Teddy, James and Albus would tease her for it.

Teddy - Teddy’s a nickname anyway but some people would call him Ted and James called him Tedward from time to time. Only his Nan would ever call him Edward and that was when he was in serious trouble.

Victoire - She preferred Vic, hated Vicky and could just about deal with Toy (Dom and Louis and most of the other cousins couldn’t pronounce Victoire when they were little).

Dominique- Went by Dom since they started Hogwarts. They hated Dominique and it was very rare someone would use their full name but god help them if they did.

Louis - Didn’t mind Louis or Lou. Would hate it when people pronounced his name as “Lewis” but he would never correct them either so.

Rose - Her name is Rose and that’s that. She doesn’t like nicknames but just about allows Rosie by some of her family (her parents, grandparents and aunties and uncles).

Hugo - Honestly, he’ll answer to any Weasley name. He looks the most typically “Weasley” out of everyone so Ron, Charlie, Bill, Percy, Fred, George and sometimes even Ginny have all been used at one point or another by professors at Hogwarts. He’s just used to it by now.

Roxanne - Preferred to be called Rox or Roxie but she was quite easy going about it.

Fred - People usually called him Freddie, which he was cool with. Unlike some of his cousins, he loved being named after a family member, especially Fred. He knew how much it meant to his dad and he felt honoured to have Fred’s name.

Molly - Hated being called anything other than Molly but on the rare occasion someone called her Mol or Mols she would be quick to correct them. She did ease up on it the older she got though.

Lucy - Most of her friends and family called her Lu but she didn’t care if you called her Lucy or Lou. Just please don’t call her Lulu because that is foul.

Scorpius - He doesn’t like his name to be honest. He prefers to be called Scorp because at least it’s a bit shorter. Also hates it when people call him Malfoy.

Alice - Most people called her Ali and she hated it, but she would never correct them when she was younger. Once she was older and learnt to speak up people quickly started calling her Alice again.

Frank - Usually just got called Frank. Alice and some of his close friends called him Frankie but he didn’t mind.

summary: after introducing the isle kids to the school and its history, audrey finds herself losing the fight for ben's attention to you yet again and she's starting to get sick of it.

Ben moves quickly, gesturing behind him at the school. He needs to get things back on track, and move past Audrey’s tactless backhanded insults as quickly as possible. He walks down the path as you, Audrey, and the Isle kids follow him. As usual, you’re a step behind him the whole way. Someone nudges you, and you turn around to see Carlos, extending your now chocolate covered handkerchief toward you.

“Thanks.” You say quietly, accepting it and looking down to tuck it back into your bag. You fuss with the zipper for a moment as you approach the uniformly shaped hedges in front of the school. In your attempts to get your bag closed back up, you don’t notice yourself veering off the path in the wrong direction until you feel Ben’s hand on your back. You look up at him as he guides you to the right with the rest of the group.

“This way, bunny.” He says quietly, and you smile, slightly embarrassed at having started to go the wrong way again. You’re both so used to Ben course correcting you like this that you don’t notice it anymore. But Audrey notices. She always does. Before she can grab onto his arm again, he uses it to draw the Isle kids’ attention to the school, leaving her unable to hold onto him.

“Auradon Prep; originally built over 300 years ago and converted into a high school by my father, when he became king.”

As Ben talks, it reminds you of your own class’s orientation day at the school a few years ago, led by Ben’s dad. You were so nervous that you must have stayed within two feet of Ben the entire time. He’s come such a long way since then, you both have. You could listen to him speak about the school, about this country, about the dynasties of royal families and the positive changes they’ve made for their people for hours. He sounds so much like his dad, and it fills you with a tender sense of pride.

He pauses in front of the statue of his dad and you smile, knowing exactly what’s coming. He looks up at the granite likeness of his dad’s familiar face, his powerful stance, and claps twice. In an instant, the stone shifts and morphs, depicting him now in his beast form. A shrill scream pierces the air behind you and you jump at the noise, clutching your pearls as you startle. You both look back as Ben instinctively places his hands on your shoulders. It feels stable and reassuring, and you feel your heartbeat begin to calm down at the contact. Audrey waits to see if Ben plans on comforting her too, but he just looks down at you, making sure you’re alright.

“You okay?” He asks quietly. You nod, and he lets out a soft breath.

“Yeah.” You breathe so quietly anyone else would have missed it.

Audrey lets out an irritated huff, crossing her arms. After that brief moment of reassurance, you look over at Carlos, who seems to have jumped into Jay’s arms. It’s quiet for a moment as Jay unceremoniously drops Carlos back onto the ground, and Carlos attempts to salvage what’s left of his dignity. Ben chuckles lightly, but not maliciously. Carlos notices this and seems confused that someone is actually laughing with him and not at him.

“Carlos, it’s okay.” Ben says, “My father wanted his statue to morph from beast to man. To remind us that anything is possible.”

Ben hears you finish the last part of the sentence under your breath with him. You’ve both heard his father say those same words thousands of times, and it brings a sudden smile to his face that takes him a moment to get back under control. Part of you wishes that Belle and Adam were here to see him now, see how well he’s doing, how much he seems like both of them in this moment. You know in your bones that if his parents could see him like this, see how naturally and gracefully he talks about the school and the history of his country, they would be proud beyond words. But you’re here to see it, and that feels like enough.

Mal looks at the statue, seeming unimpressed.

“Does he shed much?” She asks with a note of snarkiness to her voice.

“Yeah,” Ben deadpans, “Mom won’t let him on the couch.”

His quick response wins a look of approval from Mal, a chuckle from the other Isle kids, and a loud laugh from you - the kind that takes a moment to trail off. Once you’ve caught your breath, you turn to him to keep walking, this time in the correct direction.

“There’s lint rollers hidden all over the palace.” You add through a giggle, making Ben laugh audibly. Audrey seems less impressed by the ice breaking banter, keeping a tight smile plastered on her face and fighting the urge to roll her eyes.

By the time Ben has brought you all into the foyer of the dorms and explained a little more about the history of the school, Mal is already asking about magic. She seems very curious, but like she doesn’t want to seem like she cares all that much - a defense mechanism, you assume. What people don’t know you care about, they can’t ruin.

“Like, wands? And things like that?” Mal asks casually.

“Yeah, it exists of course.” Ben begins, “But it’s pretty much retired. Except for some forms.” He finishes, gesturing to you, knowing you’re much more qualified to answer magic related questions.

“Right.” You agree, “You see, Wonderland magic is based in nonsense, but here in overland where everything is sense, nonsense doesn’t make nearly as much sense, so it really doesn’t work quite as well - or quite the same way - as it would in a place where things don’t make much of any sense at all…”

You begin to explain, only catching yourself mid ramble towards the end of your train of thought. You trail off, clearing your throat a little.

“But that’s really a story for another time.” You finish. You don’t want to overwhelm them with information on their first day, and Wonderland rules (or lack thereof), are confusing to most people on a good day. Besides, none of them are from timeless domains, so anything they would learn about Wonderland could only be theoretical. Realization crosses Mal’s face, and she points to you.

“So you’d be…”

“Alice’s daughter. Of Wonderland.” You clarify. Ben smiles a little, the way he always does when you introduce yourself like that. He thinks it’s so endearing how you think any Alice other your mom would spring to someone’s mind upon meeting you.

“That explains the teapot bag…” Evie mutters. Someone chuckles, you’re not sure who, but you find yourself hoping this wraps up somewhat soon. You’re trying so hard to be patient, but you were dragged away from Wonderland so suddenly, and it’s always disorienting for you like that. Besides, you’ve heard whispers of a nest egg that’s sure to hatch soon, and you’re dying to go back to Wonderland so you can get a look at it, maybe get some pictures.

“Exactly,” Ben says, turning to you. You’re so grateful that he’s always here to help you navigate awkward moments, like when you don’t notice you’ve been rambling, or make a joke that doesn’t make sense to anyone except him.

“She knows the most about magic out of anyone at Auradon Prep.” Ben continues, turning to you, “It’s just like you said, bunny. Most of us here are just ordinary mortals.”

Mal scoffs at that for two reasons. Not only did a literal prince just call himself a regular average Joe, but you’re supposed to be the one who knows the most about magic? She doesn’t think so. Not when she’s the one with her mother’s spell book hidden in her bag right now. She doubts you’ll still be the one who knows the most about magic starting pretty damn soon. There’s a new queen in town.

“Ordinary mortals, who… just happen to be kings and queens.” She says. At the discussion of royal status, Audrey suddenly finds herself interested in joining the conversation again. She’s always been a little too eager to talk about royal status and bloodlines for your liking.

“That’s true!” She says with that glimmer in her eye that only appears when she’s bragging. She reaches for Ben’s arm again, finally managing to grab it. “Our royal blood goes back hundreds of years…”

She pulls Ben’s arm around her shoulder, and he chuckles awkwardly. He catches your eye for a brief moment, silently praying for a graceful way out of yet another moment made uncomfortable by Audrey’s superior attitude and love of public displays of affection. You know exactly what he’s silently telling you from one look at his face, and you nod your head subtly toward the stairs, drawing his attention there. He looks over, spotting Doug on his way down to the great hall.

“Doug!” He calls, lifting his arm off Audrey to wave Doug over. “Doug, come down.”

Doug nods, and jogs down the last few stairs. He walks over to meet Ben and you, standing in front of the Isle kids.

“This is Doug.” Ben introduces him to their new students. “He’s going to help you with your classes, and schedules, and show you around the rest of the dorms.” They’re silent, and he can sense their apprehension about being handed off to someone, no matter how well they mask it.

“I’ll see you later, okay?” He says, with a small smile. There’s a reassuring quality to his tone of voice that puts everyone in the room at ease. The Isle kids seem to relax a little, and Ben continues, “And if there is anything else you need, please, feel free to-” “Ask Doug.”

Audrey jumps in yet again with that tense smile, cutting off Ben for the… you’ve lost count of how many times, at this point. There’s some more forced laughter between Audrey and Mal, then before you know it, Audrey is dragging Ben away. You start to leave as well, reaching into your bag for your journal to check where you’re supposed to be right now.

“Bunny!” Ben calls, and you turn your head. “This way.”

You turn and scurry a few steps to catch up with him and Audrey. As Doug leads them to their dorms, Evie looks back, her gaze lingering on Ben’s hand resting on your back. Something he’s done very casually a few times in the short while they’ve been here in Auradon, but never once to his actual girlfriend. Evie might be a pretty face, but she’s definitely not stupid when it comes to love. She sighs, and crosses Ben off her mental list of potential princes. One girl she can easily compete with, but two other girls fighting for his attention means he’s just not worth her time. Besides, if Audrey doesn’t stand a chance against you - which she sure doesn’t seem to in Evie’s opinion - she’s sure it won’t be easy for anyone else, even someone as gorgeous as her.

Across the great hall, Audrey stares straight ahead. She refuses to look at you, rolling her eyes and forcing a smile before turning specifically to look at Ben.

“But Bennyboo,” She says patiently, “We’re supposed to have dinner tonight, remember?”

Ben’s brow furrows for a moment before he remembers the plans they had made.

“Oh, right.” He wonders how he could have forgotten that, but chalks it up to the very busy, very important day.

“So we should probably get going,” she says to you, insincerely sweet. “Let’s catch up later, ‘kay?”

She begins to drag Ben away from you, but he hesitates for a moment. Suddenly he remembers why he hadn’t been thinking about dinner with her yet.

“Actually, Audrey, we’re uh,” he looks at you before turning back to her. “We’re having dinner later. After the council stuff this evening.”

Finally, her mood drops in a way that no amount of chipper facades and tropical punch energy drinks can disguise.

“...Right.” She says slowly, watching Ben take another step closer to you.

“We actually need to…” He says, trailing off as you hold out your pocket watch for him to look at. The hands are a little too close to the word Late! for his comfort.

“Oh god.” He mutters quietly. Audrey huffs and he turns back to her, really needing to wrap this up.

“You’re welcome to join us, if you want.” He offers, kindly telling her that either way, you two need to leave right now. Her forced smile grows stale at the idea of having to sit through even more boring meetings, especially unnecessary ones.

“I have a thing.” She says quickly, “I really need to go over the cheer routines we’re doing for the next tourney match. I cannot let Jane be an embarrassment to the squad again.”

“Okay, so dinner later.” Ben confirms. He walks over to give her a chaste peck on the cheek before dragging you away to the next meeting you’re almost late for. She watches the way his hand stays on your back, even when you must clearly know where you’re going. She watches the way you talk to each other as you leave, animatedly and closely in a way that feels too intimate for her liking.

You and Ben are always on the same page, you always have been. She knew what she was getting into when she started dating Ben, she knew about the busy schedule and all the meetings and how close you two are, but she just figured… She hoped that he would have started to like her more than you by now. There’s still time, she reminds herself. She can wrap her Bennyboo so tight around her finger that he forgets all about his little best friend.

Ok so what if evil was truly broken jay like he had all his memories but instead of landing in the administration he landed some where far worse a place were death Is your only wish jay would be forced to under go so much pain no powers beging to the earth to let Cole hear his pleas it would awnser Cole undergoing an in an instance connecting with jay hearing only screams managing to sever the connection much to jays distress. He would try with the seas manging to get a connection with nya a faint one but a she only herd inhuman cries breaking the connection. Than jay would attempt to plea to Zane but unable to find him than Lloyd but he would run only seeing a monsteress beast. Jay tried so many ways but only manging to increase his suffering more and more each failed attempt breaking him a but more to the point all jay can feel is hate towards the ninja and everything he could sense their joy through the storm why what had he dun to deserve this he would make them know suffering and at that the prison cell would be violently ripped apart from his thunder the red lighting trashing at everything. Seeing a portal he would walk towards it a way out conting hands clapsing on the other side than seeing five figures. Who looked shocked at his existence. Or mere presence.

"Brother have I gone mad" the red one waering a mask stated

"No sister I see him too but how" the dark blue one with markings and teeth that reminded him of storm keepers

"Who are you guys" the 5 turned from each other to jay eyes narrowing

"We awnser if you awnser your question first" the shoter one stated eyes locking with him

"Um my name is jay walker the blue ninja master of lighting" he stammered

"An elemental master" one of the the cloaked stated

"Of creation, how is he here? Did the merg put him here" the short one added staring at him.

"Rox be kind to out new guest we have much to train him for" the blue one stated "name is nokt that one over thier is my sister rox"

Nokt than explained what this place is and who they were. jay didn't care if it was evil. The art they taught him was powerful and strong he loved it. The ninja didn't hear his pleas so why should he show mercy.

Nya didn't know what to expect when the ritual opened the portal, but this wasn't it she stared as the cloaked figure in purple crawled out of the portal, turning around eyes opening glowing blue he threw of his cloak to reveal a tattered blue gi with red and purple detailing in lighting pattern a hood down the figures gi was adorned in a hundred markings and one the side it held one half of a yin yang medlione cracked in half his eyes looked angry and bitter full of hatred. He cracked his neck facing the ninja, and in a moment, he doubled. He tapped his foot shatter spin surrounding him as he ran at kai the two locked in combat nya going to help before the figure was on the ground staring daggers at kai who held a blade to his neck that was before purple red and blue lighting sparked around him and made contact to kai kai screamed in pain and horror.

"Unff games it is time to free the others" kai collapsed as the lighting was drawn back to the purple figure" say good bye to ur sister forever" the figure sneared dragging kai along.

"Let go of my brother" nya cried blasting him with water nya looked into the mask and saw his eyes no those eyes lighting no but how. He let go of kai. kai getting back to as the figure stared daggers at them before walking backwards eyed darting around the until he spotted green. He smircked under his mask.

"Oh well I tried to be nice" he sneared and then a flash he was gone. Nya turned seeing Lloyd struggling with a vision then sparks red purple blue no he appeared again Lloyd's throat in his hands. " stop or you know he dies" his eyes meeting Lloyd's than he felt a cold feeling approach a vioce let him go the vioce told him he wouldn't listen they deserved this.

"Let him go now" a pink haired girl cried glowing sending mech bits flying at him this was interesting. But he wanted to have fun do he ran at her jumping up and then spinjitzu a blue tornado surrounded him as he flung the girl side ways towards a tree pitfull. He felt the stares on his back and turned to face them he looked to masked warriors

"What are you waiting for? A cookie kill them," he ordered them imdently attacking the ninja he ran at kai, grabbing him by the collar and throwing him into the portal nya watched her brother be sacrificed once he was thrown in all she could see is red as anthour of the forbidin five leaves the portal throwing of his cloak off. Nya just turned and stared at the figure in the blue gi throwing her spear directly to his head just gracing it but catching it pulling it off. As she saw the figures face she felt her heart shatter into a trillion tiny shards. The figure had curly hair a mouth once full of hope now just hate it was jay.

"J-jay," she cried the figure not paying attention to his name, being called hands glowing purple and red as he redhead down to pull her to hell to free the others he saw large metal object hit him straight back into the portal.

I ended up watching the ninjago dr s2p2 eps today bc I was scared of being spoiled (heck no I couldn’t last until october)

my thoughts below! warning lots of spoilers!

OVERALL? IT WAS GOOD. ENJOYABLE!

The final episode was the best I think, it was a great culmination of all the arcs and mysteries. seeing the elemental powers was cool as it usually is! personally I want to know more about that demon-y species (you know the one, I already forgot their name rip) they look so awesome

Jordana surprised me the most and I was super impressed with her character. Lloyd coming to terms with being a master felt good to see, I am proud of my boy. Ras is a great character as always, and Rox was interesting. WHAT is going on with Master Wu I need answers??? Roby and the relationship with him & Wyldfire was adorable too! it’s a funny contrast and they’re such dorks I laughed out loud at the “WyFi” nickname, of course the internet kid would think of that 😭

Now I’m gonna talk a bit more in depth about my least liked thing, and then my favorite thing

The Jay confrontation… decent. okay. felt a bit lacking to me. I wanted to see more of how he interacted with Ras’ crew :(( the lack of reaction showed from the ninja, who are seeing their friend after such a long time and On The Villain’s Side was kinda disappointing. especially when he pulled out the shatterspin. although Nya’s reaction and their interactions were the best!!! I loved her trying to get through to him, meanwhile he was being really cruel. her wanting to chase him down right afterwards too. and while I was sad Jay left as quick as he appeared and couldn’t cause more problems, I have to say I’m relieved the plot went like This instead of like… him instantly getting his memory back as soon as he saw them. that was my biggest fear ngl I would’ve been so upset 😭 happy with what we got in comparison! and I’m really glad Jay left while angrily holding a grudge!! hope he gets worse <3

As for my favorite- the Arin plotline. I’m glad our son got to do cool stuff even while not being a tournament participant, even better that it was cool detective stuff. I knew he’d get upset at Sora if he found out she lied to him, and yeah he did. more upset then I thought. watching him push her away hurt </3 I enjoyed the steady buildup of his realizations, reunion with his childhood friend Frack, his thoughts changing about Ras, (light in the dark & dark in the light) all of it leading to that major decision in the final episode. “I NEED HIM” had me jumping in my seat fr. I’m excited to see what will happen with them in the future

overall good. part one was stronger and better paced imo, but part two has left more interesting things open to develop. season 3 is looking to be really promising! the wait is going to be painful

I enjoyed this whole season and will be watching p2 again officially when october rolls around ofc, make sure you do too :3

Peter Pete Jr., aka PJ, is a firstborn of Pete and Peg, older brother of Pistol, and one of Maxine’s best friends. Warm-hearted and friendly, but his passive nature makes him a frequent pawn in the schemes and shenanigans of his domineering father Pete. Through childhood to young adulthood, he has been close friend to Maxine and usually hang out with her. Although he occasionally feared his father, he is actually scared of his mother the most and often seen horrified when his mother angrily scold her husband. Then again, he and Pete are caring towards one another as just as Goofy and Maxine are. Currently, he has a girl friend Fabrette, who was usually known as the Beret Girl.

Formerly, PJ was a child actor who often star in a show his father was in, usually portrayed as Donald’s neighbor’s son in a sitcom, portrayed as bright but cynical child. In fact, he was labeled as “acting prodigy” for being able to acting from range to a spoiled brat, terminally ill kind-hearted child, and even voice acting. Pete held great pride in his son’s talent at first, but when the attention gets too far (from entire school students giving him unwanted attention to fans stalking the house of Pete’s), young PJ was traumatized and refused to go to school. Upset with the entertainment’s lack of concern for his mental health, PJ suddenly announce his retirement and decided work in a car scale. Although PJ still have lingering dreams in acting career, his father would forbid him from being in any drama classes or acting activities. So, PJ turned his interest in artistic hobbies and casual sports. At one point, his mother Peg visited Goofy who had lost his wife from car accident as she was also Glory B’s besets friend. When PJ turned 12, Goof family moved next door and he quickly befriended tomboyish girl Maxine. At first, Pete didn’t like the idea of his son befriending another celebrity’s child. However, he agreed to let PJ becoming friends with Maxine when he heard of her defending his son from bullies in school, finding her “revenge” on them dangerous but borderline satisfying. If his son and Maxine were in danger, Pete and Goofy work together to get them out of trouble. In some occasions, PJ and Maxine babysit his little sister Pistol. In teen years, PJ also befriended Barby Zimmeruski, the girl with enormous love for cheeses. Both her and PJ were aware of Maxine’s popularity with girls due to her image as “handsome girl” and Rox’s romantic feelings for her. Seeing Maxine also share same feelings to him, PJ reluctantly decided to help Maxine impressing him and was seen delighted when hearing of their blooming relationship. During summer vacation, PJ was seen having a camping trip with his entire family and was surprised to see Maxine on a stage with her father and their favorite singer Powerline.

Years later as high school graduate bound for college, PJ and his friends were preparing to leave, excited for their upcoming debut in college X-Game. At the same time, he was hoping to approach the way back to acting career by taking courses necessary for this chance, slowly overcoming his childhood trauma. Although he would be in separate dormitory, he would still hang out with Maxine and Barby during campus hours. During the first day of college skating around the campus, he and his friends grabbed the attention of the X-Games champion team/Fraternity; “the Gammas”. Although, their leader Bradley was more interested in recruiting Maxine. At some point, PJ was surprised to see Goofy as their instructor in “Entertainment Business” and “Performing Arts”, but very invested in his classes. During fierce confrontation between Maxine and Bradley, PJ was seen frowning when Bradley insulted Goofy, but shocked when Maxine retaliated with aggression causing to destroy Bradley’s shirt, and confusion when Bradley escaped the scene with fear. At first encounter in the cafe Bean Scene, and at the night club, he become the love interest of a beret girl named Fabrette who was attracted to him due to his love for performing arts and sharing much in common wit her. He and Barby were seen witnessing when Rox and Stanley started attending their college, but concerned more of Maxine. In the X-Game competition, PJ’s best event was shown to be bike riding as he managed to pass the semi-finals. However, PJ was abruptly removed by the scheme of team Gammas and Bradley’s father as his inline-skating shoes were secretly attached with rockets. Luckily, he was in the infirmary with support of his girlfriend Fabrette, unharmed at the middle of triathlon. Later, he was horrified witnessing his friend Maxine and remaining Gamma teammates blasted to the X-Games wired fabric logo and decided to go to help them. When finding all the incidents and cheats were made by Bradley’s father, PJ and his friends were seen glaring at them as Goofy angrily called him out for choosing his ambition over his son and others’ safety. Days after, PJ watched the social medias making hate comments on Bradley due to alleged “doping” and “cheating”, he was one of the people to express sympathy towards Bradley’s psychological condition. Noticing something off from his behavior, he quickly informed Maxine about it, which led to her saving Bradley from attempt suicide. As Bradley broke down in tears, Maxine, the other Gammas, and PJ proceeded to reassure him.

According to Donald and Goofy, PJ is still a great actor and currently with Maxine, he became a frequent guest star of variety show “Exit Man”. No longer feeling fright of public’s opinion, PJ was open to restart the acting career with support of his friends and his girlfriend Fabrette. At this point, Pete finally conceded and allowed his son’s return in acting, feeling proud of his son’s progress. Along with Barby, PJ becomes a regular witness in observing Maxine, her popularity and growing relationship problems.
