A Wonderous Christmas Ch 22
The group looked in horror to see Walt gripping the Bruno child, who was struggling to get out of his grasp. "Let go of me!" She grunted, but Walt just pulled her and said "SHUT IT! The only words I wanna hear are 'Of Course Walt. I'll open the book for you.' Nothing else you little-" the man was cut off by Cal chucking a snowball at his face.
This gave Kaylo enough time to deliver a good kick to his...jingle bells, and stomp on his foot before running back to the inhabitants. Kaylo immediately snatched the book from his hand, but in her haste, dropped the Warmth. "Oh no!!" She cried, rushing back to get it, but Walt was already charging at her, red in his eyes.
"Quick! Get the Warmth!!" She shrieked, running away from the wrathful Walt, and Kicking the jar towards the group. The jar rolled before it slid on the icy sidewalks. Jose leaped for the Jar, but Wilma's claw like nails grasped it first "Thank You Old Mcdonald." She sneered, but She dropped it when Sana tackled her to the ground.
"Attilio! Look alive!" She yelled. The Green haired man dove towards the Warmth, but he was sent sliding down the icy walkways, however, he was lucky enough to send it careening towards Haoyu. "I got it!" He shouted, but Walt's kids immediately tripped him, causing him to send the jar flying again.
Yuri nabbed the jar and began running to the Wonder Stars "Hang on Guys!" She said, nobody noticing her as she slowly slid herself over to the stage. Mei looked down and noticed her "Yuri! Hurry! Give it to me!" She said. The purple haired girl raised hand to give Mei the jar, before she saw Walt charging towards her.
Giving out a shriek, she threw the jar up to the Wonder Stars before she jumped out of the way. "Open the Jar!!" She shouted. Acting quickly, Mei ran to the others and opened the jar, releasing the Winter of Warmth. The star shaped magic made its way to the top of Timeville's frozen over tree, it's light creating a beacon for the iced over town.
The dark snowflake that created the Winter of Woe began to melt away as the Wonderworld Borealis shined over the town and spread to the rest of the world. It's beautiful light beginning to melt away the black snow and darkened ice. Everyone watched in wonder as the lights reversed the winter...however, not everyone was happy at the effects.
Walt looked in absolute dispear as the snow and ice melted away "NO!! NO!! MY WINTER!!" He yelled out. He glared back at Kaylo, who had now been trapped in an alleyway that was blocked by a still melting ice wall. "You. Little. Brat." He growled, a murderous glare in his eyes. Suddenly, two hands grasped at his shoulders.
"And just what do you think you're doing?" A deep voiced asked. Behind Walt were two men, one with bright neon green dreadlocks, and the other with straight white and black hair, with a few neon streaks. "Were you about to hurt this child?" The other man said, his voice slightly higher than the first voice.
"No. I was about to hug my dear niece, I missed her so in that dreadful winter..." He said, fake sweetness in his voice. Kaylo rapidly shook her head "PLEASE!! HE WAS AFTER ME!! HE'S NUTS!!" She shouted. Walt sent her a withering glare "Now now darling. Come to uncle Walty." He said, his teeth gritting.
"OH NO YOU DON'T!" Another voice shouted. Suddenly, Walt's jaw was met with the bottom of a cupcake smelling snow boot, that sent him flying towards the ice wall. Kaylo scooted out of the way before he hit her, and she saw that it was Catilin that delivered the kick to Walt's face. "Auntie Catilin! Mom!" She cheered, giving her parents a hug.
"Thank goodness you're safe...when we didn't see you on the stage with your friends, we had gotten a little help. We didn't think that you'd be running for your life from Walt, while holding the book." Thea said "Well, at least you're safe." Catilin said. Stefan turned to the two men "Thank you." He said Catilin's face gained a playful look "Yes...Thank you Bally Boo." She teased.
Kaylo looked confused at the name until she saw that the green dreadlocked man had golden ringed eyes, while the white haired man had blue cat-like ones "Balan? Lance?" She asked. Both man gave a smile as they both bowed in front of her. "Hello dear! You have Have nothing to fear!" The said in sync.
Kaylo gave a smile before she ran out of the alley and back to her friends, feeling the deathly freezing temperature slowly rise. "Kaylo! You're ok!" Rebecca yelled out. The pink haired girl bounded back to the group "Yes. Thank goodness! And you Unleashed the Warmth! Timeville is saved!!" She cheered.
The Children smiled as they watched the Wonderworld Borealis spiral in the sky, creating a warm feeling of hope to all who gazed upon it...

Week 7 games TV info
There are essential video games in every Energy 5 convention on Saturday, all sprinkled throughout the Week 7 slate.
Early on, Penn State faces Michigan within the first of three video games between the three high groups within the Large Ten. The winner has an inside shot on the Large Ten East title, or a minimum of the prospect to grab management with a future win over Ohio State.
Within the afternoon, Alabama faces Tennessee in what could possibly be the Vols’ greatest shot to beat Nick Saban’s Crimson Tide in a very long time. Additionally, Oklahoma State faces TCU with the winner having a fairly good shot of creating the Large 12 title recreation and pushing into the School Soccer Playoff.
Later, Clemson faces Florida State and USC travels to Utah in a pair of inauspicious street assessments for 2 CFP contenders. For Clemson, a win pushes the Tigers to 5-0 within the ACC with video games in opposition to Syracuse, Louisville and Miami remaining. For USC, it is one among two huge street assessments (with UCLA on Nov. 19) left on the schedule.
This is a take a look at this week’s school soccer TV schedule:

Matt’s Take
Glass-Eaters and New Homes
The past two weeks have been very exciting for Bengals fans and a little depressing for Reds fans. As we are in the middle of March Madness and sadly enough my favorite team (Huggins’ Mountaineers) is not playing, there has been plenty enough of Bengals and Reds action to keep me more than occupied. For many Bengals fans, we knew that Burrow needed protection next year for Cincinnati to make another trip back to the Super Bowl. Frank Pollack got exactly what he wanted, as another “Glass-Eater” has signed with Cincinnati. La’el Collins has officially signed and added much needed depth to the Bengals front line. While Collins has some off field issues, Cincinnati is trusting that he has learned from some of his mistakes and have welcomed him in the Nati’. After signing, Collins communicated the exciting news with Burrow and stated “Your new bodyguard is in town. Nobody is touching you.” As good as Joe was last year, imagine the year he will have with “Tom Brady-Like” time in the pocket.
Location Changed
A trip to Great American Ballpark or an evening tuning into Bally Sports will certainly be different this year, as many of our well-known Reds are playing for a new team in 2022. As we plan to embrace many of the young new faces in Cincinnati, many fans will be keeping up with past players. Players you won’t see in a Reds uniform this year include Sonny Gray, Jesse Winker, Eugenio Suarez, Michael Lorenzen, Tucker Barnhart, Amir Garrett, Wade Miley, and Nick Castellanos. Below you will find all of the former Reds players new homes:
Sonny Gray: Minnesota Twins Jesse Winker: Seattle Mariners Eugenio Suarez: Seattle Mariners Michael Lorenzen: Los Angeles Angels Tucker Barnhart: Detroit Tigers Amir Garrett: Kansas City Royals Wade Miley: Chicago Cubs Nick Castellanos: Philadelphia Phillies
Spring Training
Spring Training is a great time for players to get key at bats and a time for players to show they are ready for the next step in their career. Nick Lodolo was able to make an immediate impact and give Reds fans hope for the future. Lodolo pitched 2 innings of shutout baseball and 4 strikeouts against the Guardians in the first Spring Training game of the year. As pitchers are working their best to get their arms ready for increased innings and pitch counts, this is great news for Cincinnati fans as Lodolo seemed more than comfortable on the mound.
Some bad news has come out of Goodyear, Arizona as well. Shortstop Jose Barrero has suffered a wrist injury that will keep him sidelined for roughly 6 weeks. Kyle Farmer will look to continue his role at shortstop and will hopefully play as well as he did at the end of last season. Last season, Farmer batted .263 and knocked out 16 homers. His .316 OBP was more than fans could ask for from a player making nearly the league minimum.
Excitement
2 weeks until the start of the Reds 2022 campaign. While I have my doubts of the outcome of this season, I hope the Reds prove me wrong and provide a surprising season to the fans who have lost many of their favorite players due to poor ownership. Who knows, maybe the Reds really aren’t in a rebuilding era like Krall has stated, but I have my doubts. Despite the lack of willingness to try to win a World Series, this year will still be exciting. Warm weather and many days at 100 Joe Nuxhall Way are soon to be upon us!

THE DEGENERATE’S GUIDE TO COLLEGE FOOTBALL TV WATCH ‘EM UPS 2021: WEEK FOUR: EVAN HANSEN WEEK
See, don’t we all feel like we know stuff now? I told you last week would give us an impression that we’re now safe to expect things. Of course that’s folly but it’s good to feel like an expert.
If you are staying home today instead of marathoning Dear Evan Hansen at your local movie theater, perhaps I could interest you in some football and maybe even some gambling to go with it?
Here are your non-Evan Hansen options for watching up all the filmed entertainment your brain can handle. All the times are eastern and the lines are the aggregates from Las Vegas, current at the time of writing.

After a painful sweep within the postseason, the Nashville Predators are greater than prepared to show the web page to a brand new season. With stable offseason strikes and a condensed coaching camp over, it is time to see how the 2022-2023 Nashville Predators can carry out.
At the moment is recreation one of many again to again NHL World Sequence, and the Predators shall be taking over the San Jose Sharks in O2 Area within the stunning metropolis of Prague. Whereas the sport will definitely generate a festive ambiance, incomes two factors out of the gate is severe enterprise for the Predators.
The Groups
San Jose begins the common season and a brand new period right now. The Sharks added Common Supervisor Mike Geier and head coach Dan Quinn this summer season. Geier and Quinn have been busy balancing a roster of growing old veterans, up and coming prospects, and a handful of recent additions – two of that are very acquainted to Nashville.
Former Predator Luke Kunin is anticipated to play on the Sharks prime line with Tomas Hertl and Timo Meier, an enviable place for a participant who underperformed offensively final season for the Predators. Geier additionally added Oskar Lindblom and Nico Sturm to the ahead corps. Former Nashville defenseman Matt Benning will pair with Radim Simek for the third pairing. The protection is anchored by veteran Erik Karlsson.
The most important story within the World Sequence is for sure hometown hero, Tomas Hertl. Born and raised in Prague, the 28 12 months previous middle performed at O2 Area throughout his years within the Czech skilled league. Hertl was a 30 purpose scorer for the Sharks final season and completed second in factors for the workforce.
James Reimer will get the nod in web for San Jose. Reimer began 46 video games final season, recording a .911 save proportion and a pair of.90 GAA.

The Predators open the common season with a considerably shocking recreation day roster. Coaching camp’s nice shock, Kiefer Sherwood, will share second line minutes with Ryan Johansen and offseason addition Nino Niederreiter. The query of Nashville’s fourth line is answered right now by the mix of Cole Smith, Cody Glass, and Eeli Tolvanen. Phil Tomasino is a shocking wholesome scratch after his standout first season final 12 months. 2022 Vezina finalist Juuse Saros shall be in web for the Predators.
Preserve An Eye On…
…particular groups. The Predators struggled to remain out of the penalty field final season, main the league in penalty minutes. This isn’t a benchmark to repeat if the workforce expects higher outcomes down the stretch. Whereas John Hynes desires to play a bodily, arduous to play in opposition to type, the workforce wants to have the ability to do this with out committing useless, sloppy penalties. The facility play bloomed final season, and with an improved second unit, the person benefit seems to be promising.
…Filip Forsberg and Matt Duchene. Final season’s purple scorching offensive duo hasn’t missed a beat in preseason, however now that the factors actually matter, Nashville’s two prime purpose scorers want to start out robust. Search for aggressive play from that prime line.
…Tomas Hertl. Whereas the Sharks are predicted to complete close to the underside of the league standings, Nashville can not underestimate the emotional vitality Hertl and his teammates will reap from the hometown crowd. The Predators should include Hertl and the highest line and give attention to the type of bodily, forechecking, arduous to play in opposition to hockey Nashville has been constructed for this season.

THE DEGENERATE’S GUIDE TO COLLEGE FOOTBALL TV WATCH ‘EM UPS 2021: PANDEMIC YEAR TWO, SEASON WEEK ZERO
There aren’t many things you can count on in this post-pandemic world set against the backdrop of the ongoing pandemic but you can count on this: WE’RE COMING TO YOUR CITY!!!
StateI feel rusty. It hasn’t been any longer than normal since we had football on our TVs but it feels like the whole of time is just crawling along until the great inevitability. For all the cancellations and makeup dates and weird abbreviated scheduling we got in 2020, there wasn’t much in the way of COVID demonstrably affecting the onfield product. I’m counting on the new forfeit rules to wreak some havoc on the playoff race but I’m also incredibly shitty at predictions.
This is a short docket of games featuring Hawaii and a handful of teams that are scheduled to play in Hawaii this year. Them’s the rules and you gotta like it. I could link to it but basically you can only schedule a game before Labor Day if you have a game scheduled at Hawaii. Hawaii mostly only plays against trash bucket teams so this week is a slate of trash bucket teams.
Good luck out there with the gambling. We’re all counting on you.
On the off chance we have a new reader, the times listed are always Eastern, the schedule is pulled from FBSchedules and the lines are courtesy of Vegas Insider.
SCHEDULE - WEEK 0
Saturday, August 28
Nebraska @ Illinois, 1:00pm ET, FOX
Scott Frost is a dead man walking if he doesn’t get to at least 7 wins this year. Bret Bielema has been a bloated corpse for years. If you think about this game in those terms it’s a lot more interesting than if you think of it as a football game. The spread has tilted just far enough in the Illini’s direction that I guess you could justify betting Nebraska -7. What a fucking classic B1G August game.
UConn @ Fresno State, 2:00pm ET, CBSSN
A real dog fight! Two sadsack loser programs with dog mascots go head-to-head for the right to claim they won this game! Wait, Fresno is favored by 27.5 and rising. Were they good last year? UConn has been an embarrassment for a while but Fresno is expected to win by 4+ scores in their opener? If you’ve got a pair of doggers you should’ve been wearing them to settle into the dung heap that is this week’s schedule. But you definitely need to trot them out for this horrible yet perfectly CBSSN matchup.
Hawaii @ UCLA, 3:30pm ET, ESPN
I guess this is the marquee game of the week. No wonder this week doesn’t count. Todd Graham vs. Chip Kelly could get at least a little bit wild. Maybe we’ll be entertained? UCLA -17.5 against anybody sounds dicey to me but that 67.5 o/u is appealing.
Eastern Illinois @ Indiana State, 6:00pm ET, ESPN+
I’ve lost track of who is or isn’t D1-A at this point so I checked and this is actually a AA game. It counts as a watch ‘em up for this week but I don’t know how to bet on this type of game.
Alcorn State vs NC Central (in Atlanta, GA) 7:00pm ET, ESPN
This is also a AA game but at least I get why it’s on TV. I still don’t know how to bet on it, though. At least through mainstream gambling channels.
UTEP @ New Mexico State, 9:30pm ET, Bally Sports AZ / KVIA / FloFootball
UTEP -10 is probably the easiest money of the week. They weren’t good good last year but they were better than their bad record and they’re experienced. NMSU didn’t play last year and lost a bunch of starters to the transfer portal. They played two spring games against lower division opponents and split them. Doug Martin has been the Aggies head coach since 2013 and has one single season of more than 3 wins. That was 4 years ago. You do not, in fact, gotta hand it to him. Weird trivia: this is the 98th meeting of these two programs.
Southern Utah @ San Jose State, 10:00pm ET, CBSSN
SJSU was undefeated in the regular season last year and beat Boise State for the MWC title. They have nine starters back, including the QB, on an offense that was pretty good last year. Southern Utah is a AA school. I’m not sure why there’s a line on this game but the Battling Jeff Garcias should jump over 24.5 pretty easily.
