Pablo Vargas: Aries-1st April

Pablo is a total Aries and being the first in the zodiac sign suits him just well. Hot-headed, passionate and a willingness to lead (dictate). He’s also aggressive and pushy though he has the best intentions at heart.  I chose April 1st for April Fool’s day which I feel suits Pablo quite well.

Takito Narita: Aries/Taurus Cusp-April 20th

Takito is also an Aries though I feel like he’s more subdued than the typical intense Aries and embodies some of the male Taurus characteristics, such as being down to earth and being practical. He also has a hidden snarky side which can come out. I chose April 20th as it’s right on the cusp of both signs; though Takito is an Aries through and through.

Tamaki Ozu: Taurus- May 6th

Originally pegged as an Aries, though Tamaki is certainly passionate and dedicated to her craft, the way in which she exudes effortless and glamour places her firmly in the Taurus category. We see Tamaki able to be charming, diplomatic and even superficial, but it’s always done with a sense of irony and awareness, much like the Taurus. It takes a lot to anger and spur Tamaki into action, but once you do, the results can be disastrous for those on the receiving end. May 6th birthdays are noted as being extremely attractive, sociable, and charming. Tamaki is of course all these and more!

Yasue Temko: Gemini- June 12th

Gemini is often noted for having two sides and Yasue certainly fits this. We see the kind-hearted goofy side for the most part, though as things progress another side of Yasue, a much darker sombre side and this was exemplified when Bertrand died. I decided on June 12th as I know someone who is a beekeeper and that’s her birthday, so it fits quite nicely.

Chiyo Ando: Cancer- June 30th

Idealistic, morally pure and dreamy to boot, Chiyo is a Cancer woman who always fights for what she believes is justice. As the SHSL Magical Girl, Chiyo lives up to her name and often suffers for her ideals such as not showering and not wearing makeup.  June 30th is the perfect birthday, sharing it with Usagi Tsukino from Sailor Moon and Pekoyama Peko from SDR2.

Wataru Gensai: Cancer- July 4th

Crabby is certainly an adjective that can be used to describe the pyrotechnic. He’s an intense patriotic who always puts Japan on a pedestal. Can be critical, intense and moody though he seems to have a heart of gold. I chose July 4th as a birthday because it’s American Independence Day and there’s something hysterical about Wataru sharing a birthday with the independence of another country.

Okita Sugitani: Leo- August 9th

Our resident playboy, Okita is a charming social persona. We also see a narcissistic cowardly man who isn’t afraid to through others down to save himself. Smarmy could be a word to describe the essence of Okita. Charming is another. Though Okita is a Leo, there is no particular birthday which suits him. He’s not on the Cancer or Virgo cusp which is why I placed him in the beginning of August.

Nahoko Miyake: Virgo- September 4th

Intelligent, hyper-critical and a business mogul to boot, Virgo is a perfect fit for our SHSL Day Trader. Nahoko is certainly arrogant and she has the resume to back it up. She will also offer you the best advice and knows her lane inside out. I chose September 4th because that’s the same birthday as Beyonce and honestly Nahoko would be stoked to share a birthday with another business mogul.

Kotori Ijiri: Virgo/Libra Cusp- September 24th

Kotori is highly intelligent and analytical. Kotori is also harmonious and peaceful, wanting nothing more than unity for the group. She often serves as the voice of reason and acts as a makeshift counsellor for the rest of the students.  She was also the only one to stand up for Takito in the 1st chapter. While she has both Virgo and Libra traits, Kotori birthday falls on Libra as she is often able to work in harmony with others and fights for justice. September 24th is reported to be a caring and thoughtful individual which suits Kotori

Benito Kasai:  Libra/Scorpio cusp-October 18th

The Libra/Scorpio cusp has the motto “it’s my way or the highway!” and Benito is definitely this. While amicable, good natured and even hearty, don’t dream of getting in his way, otherwise you will be gutted skinned and served with a wedge of lemon! October 18th, 1851 was the release date of Moby Dick by Herman Melville. Benito has the same birthday and he couldn’t be happier.

Ryouta Miki:  Scorpio- November 11th

A lot of Scorpio’s work in journalism and news broadcasting. Ryouta proudly carries that tradition. Scorpio’s are also known for being intense, trustworthy and secretive to name a few. And secretive, oh me oh my if Ryouta is not the textbook definition of secretive, even going so far as to have a secret identity; Kibougaman. November 11th makes the date 11/11 which is fitting for Ryouta.

Hitomi Yunokawa: Sagittarius- December 17th

Vibrant. Lively. Optimistic. Hitomi Yunokawa is a great ray of sunshine and her character fits the zodiac sign Sagittarius so well. Often noted as excitable and warm, Hitomi takes everything in stride, even her SHSL Mutant title. December 17th was selected for her birthday because it was when the Wright brothers were finally able to achieve success with their contraption of an aeroplane. Travel and movement perfectly represents Sagittarius and in turn Hitomi.

Satoko Royama: Capricorn- December 26th

We love our snarky holier than thou polyglot. Capricorns are often noted for having a twisted sense of humour, as well as being hardworking and determined. Satoko does justice to these traits. December 26th is noted as being extremely hard working and tenacious and being fluent in so many languages, takes some serious determination, which is why Satoko has this birthday.

Akinori Kurokawa: Aquarius- Janurary 27th

Oh, Akinori. Our redhead child. Always a bit of a misfit and a bit of an oddball. You could call him quirky and that would be a compliment. Aquarians are often known for going against the grain and doing their own thing, and in all honestly being a SHSL preacher certainly encourages that. January 27th is noted as being a rare birthday, in fact Aquarius is often said to be the rarest sign.

Itsumi Jukodo: Aquarius - February 14th

Now we have our SHSL Archaeologist who has a fear of dirt. Who would have thought? The Aquarius woman is noted as doing her own thing her own way and Itsumi’s fear of dirt will surely mean she has to adapt and do things her own way to become the SHSL Archaeologist. She’s a paradox for sure. February 14th is none other than Tomb Raider Lara Croft’s birthday, though her and Itsumi could not be more different.

Ikkaku Kirigiri: Pisces- March 7th

And finally, we come to our mysterious student Ikkaku Kirigiri. When you first met him, he’s aloof, combative and generally hard to talk to. Astrology denotes that Pisces men are the most emotionally volatile sign of the zodiac. Astrology also notes that Pisces are suspectable to developing addictions which, given what Ikkaku’s true talent was, this is a sad but suitable match. March 7th was chosen because in Ikkaku’s case there is no particular birthday, just particular zodiac.

Nap dreams are fucking WILD man

So yeah my nap was funny- at least to me lol. So I’m gonna make a little oneshot type thingy and add a link in this post while reposting it to @aarcanevillains and these will quite literally just be me messing around with my heroes Touya, Tenko and Quirkless hero Izumi yee

So I guess my dream came as a part of my plans for W.I.T.C.H because it was a bit Multiversal and just for context here are the stars of this show;

Support Gear: Gloves (they cover his pinky and ring fingers but are able to retract to use his quirk)

These were the main characters of the shenanigans … yes you saw that correctly that says Izumi like many of the gender bent fanfics out there I mean to be fair perfect name for a female Izuku anyway we are getting off topic and for clarification I might try to incorporate this into a W.I.T.C.H chapter later or I’ll just have fun with it

General plot - Phoenix, Necrosis and Jackal are in a meeting with Nedzu, they crossed universes after their version of The Witch “died”. Nedzu just stops and asks them who they are how they got there and for Shigaraki (not Tenko) to move away from his desk. The three of them are confused as shit and tells him their names- he’s both confused and feels like they are familiar so he called Tsukauchi and confirmed they were telling the truth.

Touya finds out he’s dead in this universe but that his brother Shoto (who is dead in theirs) is alive and that Endeavour is still a dick decides he wants to give the old man a heart attack.

Tenko finds out he might be a super villain and successor of the man who in their universe he was trained to fight and defeat… so he is pretty much the opposite of himself.

Izumi however… she doesn’t technically exist unless 16 year old Izuku Midoriya is her but he accepted One for All (which Tenko holds as Necrosis in their universe) … so in this universe he now has a quirk but experienced the same shit she did.

Anyway dream continues eventually they end up speaking with Izuku, All Might, The Todoroki’s (Izumi definitely didn’t threaten to maim this universes Kaachan and that definitely didn’t get some brows raised when Izuku muttered a “maiming might be okay”)

Now I don’t really what happened in the middle so I’ll make something up later lol but Izumi ends up going undercover with the League and it’s wild because she’s such a gremlin and because she’s got a massive crush on Tenko (and a smaller one of Touya) so she’s always off in fairy land when it’s just her and Tomura - and she made gloves for Tenko in their universe so that he could use his quirk as he pleased and gave Tomura a spare pair with a failsafe in them.

I remember he asked her what was up and she straight up said “I don’t think it’s something you want to know…” and got up and left.

She kept her lack of quirk a secret stating that she didn’t trust them to know what her quirk was yet lol

Then it went a little fuzzy again but I did see Kotori and they had a little bitch off lmaoo like Dabi and Tomura had to pull them from the room

Another bit Izumi was sat between the two villains, got a text and goes “oh fuck yeah Koko and Yaya are down the street peace out bitches” (she gets called Mimi and in all fairness while it’s obvious to her that Dabi is Touya and Tomura is Tenko (again obviously) she doesn’t want to say their full names just in case it gets awkward) and both men are like who in the fuck? So sassy little Mimi goes “would you like to escort me to my gentlemanly friends?” Before flipping towards the door lmao

Dabi followed

Again all fuzzy and boom the whole Gigantomachia moment and the doctor and then it got dramatic

The doctor moved first, pressing a button while smiling creepily.

“I heard about the paradox… we’ve had people gain new memories, people double up, be the opposite of themselves and I have taken privy learning about the three new heroes who arrived at UA… hmm your body type in about the same.” He grinned and it was like everything fell into slow motion as her left arm got wrenched back the same time she flicked a knife towards the small Nomu resting on the doctors lap.

The knife killed it immediately.

Izumi spun, the League was just watching stunned as the green haired nineteen year old twisted her body and slammed her steel-toed boot into the nomu’s uncovered brain. At least that hadn’t changed between her world and this.

Masterlist

Heroes are humans too, they love, they hate, they cry and they break. What happens when one hero, one truely powerful hero, becomes broken? Can she overcome her pain or will she fall deeper and deeper into despair?

Warnings: angst, pain, swearing, death

Kotori Ando first showed signs of her quirk at three years old, younger than most children would but that was fine, there can be exceptions. Kotori's first power was flying, the most irritating of powers for a toddler to ones parents, she would start floating while they bathed her and often times needed a child's leash so that she wouldn't fly away (it was admittedly quite funny and in all fairness her brother had to wear one too since the six year old could turn invisible whenever he wanted).

At four whenever she was angry little sparks of red would form in her palms whenever she got angry and on one occasion she had an outburst that had their kitchen table left in ruin...

By six Kotori had gained one more power, telekinesis, along with that her older brother, Tatsuya, had gained a vocal quirk to go with his invisibility and the ability to fly as well... the siblings definitely didn't terrorise their parents as they floated about their home not at all.

Her quirk would just kept growing and growing.

Even with all of this the Ando's weren't a well off family, Aki was a librarian while Shoyou was a pre-school teacher, but their little family was filled with joy amongst their lack of wealth and it only made it all the more surprising when Rei Todoroki had shown up at their home, a boy with bright red hair standing behind her.

"Hello this is the Ando's home yes?" The white haired woman asked, her smile warm and kind.

"Yes that's us I'm Shoyou this is my wife Aki. How can we help you Ms?" The man asked as he turned slightly to show the wheelchaired woman and a young Kotori hiding around the corner- Tatsuya was still at school for detention- with a bandage wrapped around her left thigh. The seven year old just watched quietly and patiently as Rei nervously fiddled with her hands before speaking.

"I'm Rei Todoroki, my son Touya here goes to school with your daughter, Kotori Ando, I believe?" Rei seemed nervous as she spoke to the man. "The school explained to me that Touya had gotten into a fight and she'd jumped in to help."

"Ah that does sound like our daughter." Aki laughed. Kotori looked so much like her mother, red hair, green eyes, and crooked grin; it was cute... "Please both of you come in, I'm sorry we don't have much but it's better than standing in the heat."

"Thank-you Mrs Ando."

"Call me Aki Mrs Todoroki, and you little one? Must be Touya yes?" The red haired woman smiled as she spun her chair to allow for the two guests to come inside.

"Yes I'm Touya Todoroki."

"Lovely to meet you young man and please call me Shoyou Mrs Todoroki."

"Oh thank you Rei is fine- Touya be careful." The ice quirked woman said quickly as she noticed her son trip. Kotori giggled at the sight.

"Don't laugh at me Tori." The boy huffed; the young girl just poked her tongue at the boy.

"Try and stop me Roki."

"You must be Kotori, Touya talks about you all the time." Rei giggled, the boy only turned to his mother and gasped loudly making all three parents laugh loudly.

"Now I have to ask, are you here just to talk about the fight?" Shoyou asked.

"Oh yes I wanted to say thank you to Kotori for simmering down the fight even though she got hurt and we deeply apologise for this." Both mother and son bowed (even if Touya's was a little begrudgingly because he HAD apologised already).

"Mum told me to get you a present to say I'm sorry." Touya said before adding a muttered, "Even though I already apologised for burning you."

"It'll heal in no time I swear it Mrs Todoroki!... Why are you holding a box?" Kotori asked as she eyed the box suspiciously. The Ando's could only laugh as the boy grew more flushed holding out the present towards the red haired girl.

"It's not going to blow up." Touya said impatiently as the girl took it. Both of the seven year old's sat down at the table, sitting close together, excited to open the little gift. It was a small handmade bracelet- Touya's face was definitely not turning as red as his hair, it was not- with one red bead and one blue either side of a small daisy charm on a black string. "I asked Fuyumi to help make it last night."

Kotori could only give the boy a giant grin, she didn't know what to say... it was adorable and so far removed from being something the wild boy could conceivably do.

"Thank you Touya its perfect." She smiled. "I'll wear it every day, promise."

"Promise?" The boy asked leaning close, eyes squinting- he was teasing her and with a poke of her tongue the quirked girl used her telekinesis to make his chair fly back. He didn't get hurt of course but that didn't make it less funny because they were friends, best friends- that's what Touya Todoroki and Kotori Ando referred to themselves as and nothing, nothing would stop them from being so.

When Kotori turned ten Touya had already been so for the past month while her brother still had a month until he was twelve. When her birthday rolled around she didn't expect the whole Todoroki family to appear at her doorstep (with the number two hero looked ever so annoyed about being there at all) with smiles and presents just as they'd done for Touya.

By this time Kotori knew about the training Endeavour was putting Touya through and she was smart enough to pretend she didn't. Along with this she'd grown in power again, having to see a quirk councillor again and again to keep herself from destroying yet another piece of furniture and Endeavour with it as he sat himself down on the well-used lounge chair.

"What are you doing here?" Kotori asked sincerely, she really did want to know.

"It's your birthday and mum managed to convince dad to let us visit." Touya shrugged. "He isn't too happy about it if you can't tell but pretty sure mum said something like you having a powerful quirk and being my friend would be beneficial." The green eyed girl just sighed before running a hand through Touya's now dual coloured hair, the white slowly taking over the red.

No one could have expected the night to end with Endeavour offering the girl to train with Touya even though she knew or certain (thanks to Touya) that he hadn't really been training her best friend since Shoto's birth- something about being sure the baby was a perfect child or would be a perfect hero, she didn't really know. What she did know was that she accepted the offer to train with Touya to become a hero (not that that was her plan anyway).

Training wasn't easy, no point n training if you weren't coming home with bruises and sweat and Kotori was a fast learner when it came to quirkless fighting, using martial arts, and boxing to keep up with Touya. She was fast and flexible and a good match for the number two hero's eldest son... and that thought alone from Endeavour made Kotori shiver at the implications. They were thirteen now and inseparable both at school and in their designated homes regardless of training or school work and it was the best.

"Ow, ow. Tori why'd you kick me there." Touya, now kneeling on the ground hand pressed below his stomach. She could barely see the look of pain on his face beneath his white hair.

"Shit sorry Touya, are you okay?" She asked dropping beside him to check on him.

"I'll be fine in a minute." He winced.

"What happened?" A booming voice asked. Enji Todoroki was here. Kotori was quick to her feet, bowing as she spoke.

"Sorry Endeavour sir I got distracted and kicked Touya... below the belt."

Endeavour cast a look over his son, eyes cold and calculating before letting out a sigh. Endeavour was always finding ways to belittle Touya, Kotori hated it and Endeavour rarely punished her when she messed up. "Be careful and don't let it happen again Kotori. Touya when you can stand do a lap around the house as punishment for not blocking her kick." He said before leaving.

Then quirked training was just as ruthless, by this point Kotori's quirk had officially been named Hex, after years of having to go back and forth to the quirk councillors and doctors they'd finally named it. She could now call it something other than, flight or sparks or telekinesis, especially when other strange things kept happening and she couldn't explain it, but Touya was there for her and for that she was grateful.

Touya was always careful when using his quirk against Kotori, mostly for his own safety and mostly for the guilt he still held over the scar on her left hip and thigh he'd given her with it. Kotori on the other hand paid no heed to it and would sometimes goad him into using it just so she could prove that he wouldn't hurt her. His blue flames would be pushed about the mountainside, hitting trees instead of her and on one occasion she even made it stop all together which startled them.

The two would also practice aiming at targets, being the mountainsides trees. Touya's quirk was particularly for aiming, it spread, it moved, it seemed to have a will of its own. Kotori however never missed a target, those red energy like sparks over time had grown into spheres (of what she nonchalantly called chaos balls to Touya during a break when they were eleven). Many of the trees on the mountainside were now either holy or burnt to a crisp... they hoped no one liked hiking up here.

But as all things do their sessions had to end and Kotori needed to be home early to see if Tatsuya had gotten into the UA hero course, of which both thirteen year old's were certain he had.

"I'll see you later Touya."

"By Tori, have a safe walk home."

"You too. Don't be out here too late okay? You still need to sleep you dork." Touya just rolled his eyes, she was always worried for him, especially since she knew he was waiting for Endeavour so he could show the man how much his power had grown.

"Uhuh. You too dorkus, tell Tsuya I hope he didn't get in." The now white haired boy joked making his friend roll her eyes.

"I shall oh mighty king of the dorks." She laughed, hand raised in a wave as she began her descent down the mountain, that bracelet he'd made (with Fuyumi) still placed around her left wrist. He smiled as he sat down.

"Queen of freaks!" He yelled back.

"King of idiots!" She responded.

"Your royal witchiness!" The girl practically cackled at that one as she disappeared into the trees.

That had been the last time they'd spoken. The last time they saw each other. The last time they trained together. Touya was gone and all Kotori could do was cry, blame herself and cry. She could have stayed longer, waited with him, she could have been there to stop the fire from hurting him. She wanted to blame Endeavour too, for not showing up, for hurting Touya again and again but while at his funeral she could only blame herself.

By the end of the funeral Endeavour had knelt beside her, hand resting on her shoulder as she stared down at what was her best friends headstone, her best friend's grave.

"I should have stayed longer." She whispered, tears trailing her cheeks. "I should have waited with him."

"Continue to train with me." Enji said, his voice low as he moved closer. "You can help train Shoto too, continue fighting like you would have with Touya."

"But-" She started, gripping her bracelet tight as she did.

"You could be great; you can be great. Become something great, for Touya. Be a hero for my son when he couldn't be. Take on what Touya would have wanted you too, he would have wanted you to be a hero Kotori. You could become the-"

Endeavour was cut off as Tatsuya reached them, grabbing his little sister's hand as he did.

"Hi Mr Todoroki." The boy said with a sad smile. "We have to go now Tori."

"Hello Tatsuya. Go get some rest, come visit us whenever and Kotori, please think it over." The giant man said now standing before turning to his own family.

She supposed training with Endeavour could be the death of her too.

So once again, she accepted. For Touya.

By now Kotori was used to heart break, losing Touya was like a stab to the heart that wouldn't stop aching. Even as she entered UA by recommendation of Endeavour, even as she passed the recommendation exams with flying colours, even when she was interviewed by the Rat God himself.

"Why do you want to be a hero?" Nezu had asked. That was the only question that she had trouble answering... how do you explain that your best friend's death and his father were involved in the choice.

"I want to... I want to protect people- just someone others can see and know they are safe with." That was her answer. Never once did she look the principal in the eye, never once did he question that look of blankness in her eyes.

"Your older brother is in his third year correct?" Nezu also asked, one to ease the tension the last question had brought.

"Yes Tatsuya Ando, quirk Quiet Time. His hero name will be Wiccan." She answered, a little glimmer of joy sparking in her eyes as she did.

"Excellent. He's a wonderful student, tells his teachers about his powerful little sister quite often, I can't wait to see how you'll fair Miss Ando." The Rat God smiled; she didn't think an animal could smile like that.

Then came classes. Tatsuya got to pop into 1A often enough that Kotori was beginning to think he was actually a first year. He'd pull pranks on some of the rowdier students by turning invisible or using his vocal quirk to make them do strange things. The funniest incident being when he made half her class walk around like chickens for an hour which both traumatised the students and made the Rat God himself lose his shit, cackling like he had just seen the best comedy show in the world.

Tatsuya was allowed to help the first years train, often using Kotori to demonstrate new skills and tactics for hand-to-hand combat. He was even there when the class chose their hero names... above them at least.

"The Magic Hero; Witch. Or The Witch I haven't decided which one sounds better." She shrugged.

"We can be The Wiccan and The Witch!" Tatsuya practically yelled as he fell from the vent. "Crime fighting siblings!"

"How long were you in there Ando one?" The teacher asked.

"He was there the whole time, kept trying to open the vent so I held it shut." Kotori smiled, though it never reached her eyes. No one noticed anyway, so she didn't care.

Except someone did notice... and he had the biggest crush imaginable on her. Only downfall, she wouldn't talk to him so he couldn't ask her out.

Then it was second year, in the blink of an eye and Tatsuya was no longer popping in and out of her classroom, though her classmates were a little sad to see the energetic hero go (some sad because the eye candy was gone) they would try to talk to Kotori more now, who still very much avoided them when she could. It wasn't that she didn't want friends, it was just everywhere she looked she saw... him and she could hear her *mentor's* voice saying it was a waste of time being anything but someone for Shoto to look up too, for Shoto to befriend once he was the number one hero. That's all she was and she understood that.

It was right before second year final exams where she felt it. Pain shooting through every inch of her body, her heart aching and mind racing trying to figure out what was wrong. She was screaming and writhing in pain and even calling in Midnight didn't do anything as she would just repel the quirk away. Two hours. She was like that for two hours, screaming and crying when an image hit her, freezing her in place in the infirmary bed.

Wiccan, Tatsuya, was dead.

"He... Tsuya's dead." She said weakly.

And then it was like Touya all over again.

Their graves were close enough and neither had a body found... their deaths were too similar and it hurt her. Her mother fell from her chair when she found out and her father had collapsed too. The three of them could only cry silently even at the funeral as nine year old Shoto hugged her tightly. And again Endeavour whispered in her ear, telling her to be a hero, be someone for both her brother and best friend and again she let him tell her those things, let him kill her slowly.

Kotori couldn't help but wonder if she was cursed instead.

It took until half way through term one of third year for Kaen Hidaka to gain any sort of courage and ask Kotori out. To his surprise she said yes and to her surprise he'd lit his hair on fire in excitement.

"Sorry, sorry I'm just so excited, I've liked you since first year and-"

"Can we focus on putting out your rainbow flamed hair." She said cutting him off. Her voice was sharp, commanding and just as he'd seen when she took charge in battle simulations, it was amazing.

"Oh yes I can um... It's not turning off." He said as he began patting down his hair- thankfully not affected by his sun flare quirk. Suddenly cold water was all over him and Kotori was moving the water- using her telekinesis- off of him to check if that had put out the small fire he'd caused. Thankfully, it had. He grinned awkwardly as he thanked her and didn't miss the small smile she gave him, a genuine smile.

Then if her life couldn't get more miserable that pain in her chest from her brother's death hit her again months later, worse this time, so much worse but Kaen was there holding her close and telling her to take deep breaths, it helped if only a little bit.

Her parents had be caught in a collapsing building. Her mother being wheelchair bound meant she couldn't escape- and later on in the day Kotori noticed a text from both her parents saying they loved her. Her father however had been found severely wounded covering children from falling debris but sadly he hadn't even made it too the hospital.

Kaen was there for it all, he wouldn't let her go, wouldn't let her blame herself or call herself a curse on humanity. He was there for her at the funeral, with ten year old Shoto now just holding her hand, she'd been in his life since he was born, she was like a sister to him, her parents like his second family and her brother just like his own... And again Endeavour was there when everyone had left her at the grave for a moment of privacy, he was there telling her to continue on, to fight for her family and each time he'd done that she'd noticed how the tone of his voice was just that bit unfriendly, just that bit bone chilling and each time she ignored it and she would continue to ignore it, for the Todoroki siblings, for Touya, for Tatsuya and for her parents.

Nezu was kind enough to take her in as a ward for the remainder of the school year in exchange she would take care of herself and not lock herself away or call herself a curse. Kaen was there through it all and she was glad her boyfriend was kind and gentle.

Kaen was there for her when she was low and when she was high. He was the most wonderful person in her eyes and nothing would be able to change that. Once out of UA and both officially being Pro Heroes he'd asked her to move in with him, after all he knew she didn't have plans to be as much a public figure as many other heroes and he knew that her quirk was more suited to heavy duty jobs, Nezu even said that she could live comfortably as long as she was available for the bigger missions and took patrol at least twice a week.

They did everything they could together over their years together and while Kotori still visited the Todoroki's and helped Shoto train if he asked- because the boy quite obviously preferred the woman to his father and for good reason. Kaen was there when she cried over the bracelet Touya had made and let her explain the story and he was even there to hear some of the things Endeavour would say to his girlfriend, things he thought at first sounded normal and like the hero he'd grown to admire like how he approved of Kaen being her partner... but the more he heard the more concerned he was that his girlfriend couldn't hear how his words dripped with malice and manipulation.

Kaen was Kotori's firsts for a lot of things, boyfriend, dates, public displays of affection and of course intimate matters and he was so head over heels for her that these things made him so happy no matter what they did. While she tried to be discreet, often only using flight and telekinesis as a hero because that was all she needed to do, he would still flirt with her as though they weren't already together. News Stations ate up his flirting with the hero- who point blank ignored him in public- calling him a sweetie and stuck in love with his co-worker. One thing he loved about Kotori when she was The Witch was how she managed to never really be seen, it was like her features would turn fuzzy like a broken tv looking for the right station- what? It was a really cool way to hide her identity.

Kaen was home when Kotori was violently ill for days, it was so bad that he was terrified because Kotori didn't get sick, she just didn't and so too the doctors they went.

Pregnant. Of all things the hero couple could become it was pregnant and neither knew what to do. Kotori was terrified, they were nineteen and had barely been heroes for a year and they had people that needed to know immediately. The hero commission would not be told of this for as long as possible, Nezu needed to know, Kaen's family needed to know, the Todoroki's needed to be told. At that one Kaen froze, he didn't like Endeavour anymore after everything he'd heard and seen from him as a hero but he knew he couldn't prevent that conversation from happening.

They named him Shoyou after Kotori's father and they both decided he would have her last name until they could get married- which Kaen hadn't planned on even proposing until they were well into their twenties. He was a sweet little boy with red hair like Kotori and blue eyes like Kaen and already at six months old he was the sweetest child on the planet and neither parent could hope for anything less. By now both heroes were completely back on duty, with The Witch appearing only as often as she needed while Solar-Flare continued flirting with his girlfriend whenever he could... and then disaster struck.

Because of course disaster struck, a massive natural disaster had hit Japan. An earthquake and a tsunami of all things. Solar-Flare was sent to the tsunami to create shields with his flare quirk and help get anyone he could away from the water along with other elemental quirked users- some who tried to turn the wave into steam, some tried to stop the water all together while others made shields or barriers. The Witch was helping in the earthquake areas, using telekinesis to carry debris and people away from the scene. Eventually she had to begrudgingly control their minds- and by gods did it feel like something out of a pre quirk hero move... something about a floating city, a robot, heroes, and a witch?- to have them move safely and quickly out of the danger zones.

Once The Witch's zone was cleared she moved onto the next flying above, watching, listening, and looking out for whoever need be. At one point she found herself flying into a building where doors had gotten stuck and walls were falling and she knew she needed to use all of her quirk, one to calm their minds so they could get out calmly, one to destroy the door with her red energy power and also using telekinesis to make sure nothing fell on them- there was too many people for her to carry out in a timely manner.

"Out quickly and carefully I've destroyed all the doors and I am holding up as much of the building as I can now go!" She said, red hair swishing about as she looked left and right- the only feature anyone could make on her being green eyes.

Everyone was now safe in the earthquake zones, she'd gotten as many people as she could out and safe, they would have to do another rescue search for any missing survivors or deceased later but for now the commission has commanded she begin a flight towards the tsunami and see what she can do. She wasn't close enough, she was too far, the tsunami was beginning to crash over the shields and barriers but the people were going to be safe, they were getting away with the help of speed enhanced heroes and other telekinetic type quirks were being obviously used. The Witch stopped, floating above the chaos and closed her eyes allowing herself to look let her mind take control of those too terrified to move and calmly have them get out of the disaster zone, there was hardly a stone left uncovered in the tsunami zone as the waves crashed so she moved forward to look for Solar-Flare.

Then she saw it, she was still to far away but that thing... it was giant and heading straight for the area her partner was in. The Witch flew as fast as she could, even using her energy spheres to help her speed up... but she was too late.

Kaen turned to see Kotori, The Witch, flying towards him fast and that's when he knew, something bad was coming, the water it hadn't felt like a usual tsunami but that didn't stop him from treating it as anyone else would. There were still people running from his area, a few other heroes beside him holding up the wall of ocean and the speed in which The Witch was flying was all he needed to know before he held up a hand, telling her to stop and with watery eyes he mouthed 'I love you' before it all went dark.

The beast had taken out over twenty heroes and injured civilians in one swoop of its arms, Solar-Flare... Kaen, included and it took all of The Witch's will not to scream as the wall of water crashed and blood and body parts took it's place. Then she was rushing towards it, faster now, flying in a fit of rage towards the giant thing. It was green, ugly, and monstrous and she was going to end it.

"Witch, we've been started on a DNA scan of the monster that was in the tsunami but we've found nothing so far." A doctor spoke, eyeing the woman warily- she no longer had her quirk activated and the lack of emotion visible was unnerving. The commission knew of the relationship the red haired woman had with Solar-Flare and knew that she was likely grieving but also knew she had a child at home- one she threatened that she would kill for and that if the Commission even thought about taking she would have no problem's retaliating for. With how high on their list she was as being considered the most dangerously quirked individual they decidedly weren't going to take any chances.

"That's fine." She said, no emotion visible in her expression or tone. "I'll keep myself entertained with it. It isn't dead so I suggest finding a way to keep it locked up without my quirk controlling it."

"Entertained miss?" The doctor asked as Kotori crept forward slowly to the beast, placing her hands on either side of its head.

"Come play with me beastie." She said as her eyes glowed red.

She definitely earned her title as the most dangerously quirked individual going by that interaction.

It took nearly four years before she ever saw something like that monster again, one the commission had caged away and kept practically comatose for years, and this time she knew what she was going to do when she found the man who created it.

W.I.T.C.Hy Things

Tori was best friends with Touya growing up, even began training with him because she could and she needed that quirk control.

When they first officially became friends he’d gotten into a fight at school in which she jumped in getting burnt in the process (leaving a nice mark on her left hip/thigh that she wears with pride) and as an apology he asked Fuyumi to help make a bracelet for her- one she NEVER took off.

When he “died” she was so upset, so angry, she never liked Endeavour anyway so becoming a hero felt like a good way to both get back at that monster and do something good for Touya.

Touya’s death was the start of a long list of heart breaks and pain.

During her second year at UA her brother died while on patrol a year into his first year as a pro and working at Fatgum’s agency.

She cried and screamed for her brother to come back, she may have destroyed a few of the doctors tables when she was asked to identify her older brother by two years.

The next day his body was missing and her whole family fell into shock and fear… where did he go?

In her third year she finally accepted Kaen’s request for a date the flare quirked boy was so excited he set his hair on fire and set off a fire alarm (which was hilarious by all means)

Then her parents died after she turned eighteen. A building collapsed and her mother (who had been wheelchair bound for years) couldn’t get out in time but her father… he was found having protected a group of children from being crushed and his wounds too bad to ever recover from.

By the time she’d graduated she only had her boyfriend and temporary guardians (her teachers as UA) as her family.

When both Witch and Solar Flare were twenty the pair found themselves shocked by the revelation of a baby, one they later named after her father Shoyou Ando.

But before Shoyou had turned six months old something happened, a tsunami had hit Japan and Solar Flare was needed, he could make shields of light flares strong enough to hold up a city if he needed.

All Kotori could do was watch from the city as she used her quirk to build barriers and control people to getting to safety. All she could do was watch as his shield broke, as he looked at her with love and resignation and she couldn’t stop what she was doing- if she did people would die.

All she could do was watch as something came out of the water, something ghastly and green and then.. Kaen, Solar Flare was gone.

Strike five of heart break and pain.

Information:

Touya is the eldest of three former four - when Shoto was six he got sick from his fathers overworking and harsh training and sadly passed

After that incident he became near overbearingly protective of his siblings and often ignores Endeavour in favour of Rei

Rei had fallen into a depression after Shoto’s death but kept a strong facade in front of everyone par Touya- because he told her not to (she’s feeling happier now but visits Shoto’s grave every week)

Touya takes special care to not burn himself much with his fire but that doesn’t stop the singeing that occurs with the help of Kotori Ando (The Witch in 1163)

Touya has a bit of a temper but chooses to use it as snark rather than be like his sperm donor

Touya is the one who comes up with the idea of Tenko, Izumi and himself making their own agency (which Monoma and Shinsou are welcome too but the three originals are the bosses)

Touya is skilled in hand to hand and “Quirkless” fighting and in the beginning was the one who gave tips to Izumi besides Aizawa and the other teachers

He chose Phoenix as his hero name as a homage to Shoto (who when he finds is alive in 1163 (W.I.T.C.H) almost cried)
