So, I was tagged by @sunwarmed-ash (hiiii!) and here I am! With my 8 published fics and their opening lines paragraphs! Whoohoo! From older to newer...

1. What happens in Vegas... (Tutor/Fighter AU where they never reconciled but get drunken married in Las Vegas)

Tor wakes up with the mother of all headaches. There's an EDM party going on between his temples, and he's pretty sure if it doesn't subside quickly, he'll seriously contemplate beheading as a solution to it.

2. All these pieces (a fic for Crush. *vague gesture* Canon? I don't know her)

There's a hidden place, Mark sometimes muses, where all the other stories live. The possibilities that didn’t become true.

3. Like a curse (Tutor/Fighter & Crush heist!AU)

2 paragraphs because I love love love how the second one came out and have to inflict it upon people.

Tutor's father had a long list of rules on how to be a successful con artist and thief. He said he had learned them from his mentor, who had in turn learned them from his father. The rules, he claimed, had survived generations, if with a little tweak here and there to keep up with the modernization of their world, and Tutor's father felt it was his duty to pass them on to his son. He used to recite them again and again to young Tutor, saying that repetition makes perfect, and his son had to be at least as good as he was.

The list started with "Always have a plan B and an escape route", went through basic stuff like "If you work a job for a fool, you're the real fool" and "A lean team is a good team", meandered into more esotheric territory with maxims like "The only good Matryoshka is the one you don't try" and "If you smell a rat, it's already too late for the poison", and then came back into the realm of basic common sense with the last rule: "Don't get caught".

4. Statistical anomalies (OT4 ❤️💙💛🖤 KafkaSyndrome!AU. The au of an au. With extra fluffy animals.)

One in four people. That's one of the small certainties science has about all this, even after more than a century since it started happening. In the course of their life, one in four people will live the wild experience of one day waking up not as a human, but as an animal.

5. What doesn't kill you makes you a monster (did anyone say "Stranger Things angst and body horror"?)

Steve Harrington knows pain. In the past years, it's become a vicious best friend with many faces that keeps him company almost every day. It's migraines that make his skull thud viciously and that turn every bright light into an ice pick to the eyes. It's back aches and joint aches from one too many fall, whether on the basketball court or while fighting monsters. It's his ankle, throbbing with red hot intensity every time the weather is changing. It's his scars from the demobats bites, feeling taut and bristling with thousands of tiny needles. It’s his left eye and the tissue around it pulsing and thudding in tune with his heart. It's that feeling like something is forever fucked up in his ribs, he'll never breathe easy again, not even in a hundred years.

6. Amok (Harringrove! Angst!)

The mall is so noisiy that he almost doesn't register it. A woman's voice. It calls "Billy?" like she's surprised. Like this is the best kind of serendipity.

7. Come close (Harringrove cyberpunk!AU)

The only reason why Billy accepted to meet this mystery person is because he's worked with Pr1nc3$$ eight, no, nine times before, which is a pretty high number of times, and by now he knows he can trust her as much as you can trust anyone in this line of work. Pr1nc3$$ is a good hacker. She's professional. She's fun to shoot the shit with in the moments of lull that inevitably can happen during a job. She doesn't ask stupid questions. She doesn't like to take stupid risks, which has never been an issue, Billy's more than ready to take them for everyone. She doesn't get angry when he calls her baby (because he's a jackass), and in exchange he doesn't get angry when she calls him a variety of names (because he's earned them all).

8. Of soulmates and colors (metalsandwich soulmates!AU)

It’s the first clear memory Steve has of his father looking at him in disappointment. Steve’s somewhere between four and six years old and he tries to tell mom and dad that the world is not just in black and white anymore, now there's something else along the usual multitude of shades of grays and white. A weird new shade that is hidden in the darkest of blacks, a shade that was not there this morning. His father looks at him like Steve just let him down in the worst way possible and tells him that to lie for attention is a disgraceful behavior in anyone, but even more so in his only son. Steve tries to insist that he’s not lying, that something actually changed. By the end of the day, he decides to take it all back, because he thinks that sticking to the truth and not being believed hurts too much.

what is atrophy’s EDEN?

EDEN is less of a storyline than it is a universe for several gothic/Victorian characters to run around in. It’s a little like an AU, except it doesn’t strictly need to be defined as that bc all the characters involved are either original, used w/ permission, or in the public domain. it’s named as such because of a greenhouse of the roof of their little building, and because of the song From Eden by Hozier. there’s lots of Hozier influence in this.

it involves James (or ‘Jay’) Moriarty and their right hand man Sebastian Moran (both of whom you might know from the ACD Sherlock Holmes stories) assembling a team of criminals, dubbed “the EDEN project”, reverse league of extraordinary gentlemen style.

these criminals include:

ex-murderer and asylum escapee Edward Hyde, who was put into Bethlam after his trial for Henry Jekyll’s murder, where he failed to prove that he was, in fact, Dr. Jekyll himself.

perpetually suicidal and coincidentally unkillable Dorian Gray, who joins up because he has nothing better to do and promptly falls head over heels for the project’s coroner.

gentlemen thief and debonair master of disguise Arsène Lupin, who was only supposed to be in England long enough to rob the British Museum and stuck around because Moriarty had a better offer.

century-old force of nature and famed monster Adam Lucifer Frankenstein, who over the hundred-odd years he’s existed has rekindled a quiet (if distant) fascination with humanity.

depressed coroner Elijah Lijk, the world’s awkwardest man and master of uncomfortable staring, who is just here to get his paycheck pretty please.

& last but not least, freshly reanimated father of mad science and gothic lit’s own sopping wet cat Victor Frankenstein, who Adam brought back at Moriarty’s request (but mostly just to prove that he could.)

eden doesn’t have a specific time period— it’s actually built to house purposeful anachronisms (so while Arsène and Moran may have modern-day tactical equipment, Dorian still absolutely dresses like its both the 1880s and the 1920s simultaneously)

oh, also, versions of Sherlock Holmes, Dr. Watson, Gabriel John Utterson, Henry Clerval, Ganimard, Lestrade, Henry Wotton, Basil Hallward, Mycroft Holmes, Sybil Vane, the whole Frankenstein family, and several others have existed or do exist in this universe.

so! couple of months back, me and family went on holiday to a self-catering cottage in the backcountry, and when we weren’t having a grand old time getting lost in the wilderness i spent my free time, not writing for this blog, but watching random youtube videos. somehow this led me to watching a lot of six the musical animatics. i dunno, i’ve always liked horrible-histories-esque modern retellings of history, and i was reading a historical fiction series about the six wives of henry viii anyway

trouble is, this stupid blog has been keeping the silm muses much more active than they otherwise would be, and that was even more true when i was trying to churn out a new headcanon every day. i got interested enough in six to start looking up fanfiction, and i guess the settings were similar enough the muses started talking to each other? and then i remembered that ‘seven brides for seven brothers but it’s the fëanorians’ post, and then i thought that even those hellspawn would probably still make better husbands than henry, and then my brain worms started matching them up

so yeah, that’s how this list of which son(s) of fëanor i’d pair off with each wife of henry viii as portrayed by six the musical came into existence (and specifically as portrayed by six the musical, even if they’ve been dead for half a millenium trying to pair up actual humans who actually existed with my goofball interpretations of someone else’s ocs feels skeevy, and also like it would require way more work than this list deserves.) there’s actually an au growing in my head to support a context in which these couples could happen, auuugggghhhh. anyway, i’m sorry

catalina: caranthir. admittedly this was the last one i came up with, there’s a bit of pair-the-spares going on here, but i do feel like they’d have a very functional dynamic. given how temperamental they both are they argue less than one might expect; they’re good at setting and negotiating boundaries, and while they snark at each other constantly whenever they have business to take care of they go in as a Team. catalina also feels like she’d absolutely refuse to tolerate hellbeast bullshit, so naturally i’ve stuck her with the most down-to-earth of the bunch. they’re not the loudest, but they’ll build a solid place to return to when shit starts exploding

anne: curufin. she is a tiny bundle of playfulness and cheek and pure blazing ambition, and i think curvo would vibe with that. they would scheme together, they’d go into every social engagement with a plan and try to manipulate everyone around them, with mixed results. they’d definitely get up to, if not the most shenanigans, the shenanigans with the most collateral damage, and i feel like their skillsets would complement each other in a way that would nicely maximise that damage potential. whatever their big project as a couple turns out as, it’ll rapidly escalate into Anne and Curufin Burn Down Valinor. or early modern england. or both!

jane: maglor. okay this isn’t just me putting the woman who wants a big family with the habitual child thief (though i will admit, there is some nice synergy there.) it’s more that they’re both survivors, in a way, they both have this resolve deep down that could weather anything the world threw at them. i feel like they’d be one of the quieter couples in this set? sneaking out of court parties to wander the gardens and laugh at each other’s terrible jokes. they’d skirt around the edge of things together, softly enough so as not to be noticed, watching the world go by. and if it came to that, i think she’d wait for him

anna: celegorm. look the essence of anna of kleve is living in a gigantic palace doing whatever the hell she wants and not giving the slightest fuck what anyone thinks of her, and i feel like celegorm would be amenable to that. they don’t actually spend that much time together, he’s off in the woods and she’s chilling in her big fancy house, but when they do meet there’s always winks and finger guns. speaking of guns, their most common Couple Activity™ is going hunting, but you’ll also find them trading stories about the nonsense their social circles get up to over booze. they don’t usually show up for ~events at the same time, but when they do, they cut a swathe across the hall so efficiently you’d think they’d planned it in advance

kitty: ambarussa. this isn’t even a romantic thing, i just want them to be friends. i want her to go on adventures and have fun and be happy and not have to worry about guys at all, you know? they’d be the ‘two dumbasses and an enabler’ kind of terrible trio, i think, the twins getting up to the stupidest shit and her cackling in the background. absolute terrors, cause so much trouble, and they always try to dodge the consequences to varying degrees of success. and then they all head off home, promising to see each other the next morning and make even more mischief tomorrow

cathy: maedhros. i picture them having these long elaborate discussions about philosophy and ethics and religion and the differences between their worlds and all kinds of other things, these fascinating debates that go on until one of them notices it’s 3am. their interests don’t overlap 100%, but they have this shared fondness for big Projects that they always end up supporting each other in. you don’t see them talking much in their formal public appearances, but in private or when they’re just hanging out they’ll banter back and forth with the kind of carefree ease that comes from how comfortable they are with each other. she’s significantly more low-key than he is, but when push comes to shove she is just as intensely opinionated and willing to defend her ideas. should the time come, she would stand up to him like nobody else could

“Harry,” the boy fills in quietly, flashing Louis a tentative smile. Louis thinks it suits him well and he mouths the name to himself, liking the way it rolls off his tongue. He watches as Harry hesitates before asking his own question, albeit doubtfully.

“And you’re—you’re P—Peter Pan, right?”

Or, the one in which Louis is a punk Peter Pan and Harry is an insecure flower child.

Starring Louis as Anna, Zayn as Elsa, Harry as Kristoff, Niall as Olaf, and Liam as that stone troll that always knows what to do.

And how about a Witcher in postapo AU, something like a combination of Resident Evil, Mad Max and maybe a bit of Universal Soldier?

I know my English is shit but just hear me out.

The war is hanging on a continent, the Nilfgaard Empire is arming itself to attack the North Union. The North Union is setting up a team of scientists to create genetically modified soldiers to fight the forces of the Empire. They manage to create a small squad of super soldiers, but there is a split among scientists. Some of them withdraw due to moral dilemmas (human experiments). The military-scientific corporation - Salamandra - is also withdrawing from the project after corporation president Jacques de Aldersberg and chief scientist Azar Javed disappear in mysterious circumstances.

Meanwhile, a mysterious virus called Catriona is turning on the military front, transforming people into zombies, which significantly weakens the strength of the Northern Union. Nilfgaard conquers Cintra and enters Temeria - Velen, and nobody knows what's really going on there. But there are rumors that in Velen was seen Catriona infected people who have kept consciousness and intelligence. Velen becomes no man's land overrun by zombies. The virus stops both armies in place. So Nilfgaard begins to cross north through Lyria and Rivia.

At the same time, Temerian spies learn about a virus-resistant girl who is in Cintra (Ciri ofc). Secretly from Nilfgaard, they want to transport her to Redania and get a vaccine from her. Unfortunately about the girl and her escort (Blue Stripes) hearing is lost at the border of Temria, Redania and Aedirn. Councilor Foltest decides to send two teams of genetically modified soldiers. One is to find a girl, the other to escort scientists to Velen to take samples for research and find out what is actually going on there.

Council of the Northern Union:

Foltest - chairman of the council, is murdered along with Demavend as a result of the Nilfgaard conspiracy. After his death, Nilfgaard entered Lyria and Rivia as well as Temeria and conquered Vizima. Major fights are currently underway there.

Radovid - After Foltest's death, he takes over the chairmanship of the Council. He puts all the major scientists in jail, he doesn't allow anyone to work on the antidote to Catriona on his own, he wants to control the drug and thereby gain more power. He orders the murder of Henselt, who is the greatest threat to him after the death of Foltest and Demavend.

Demavend - murdered together with Foltest as a result of Nilfgaard's plots. After his death, the self-proclaimed leader Saskia and her guerrillas led by Iorveth take over Aedirn.

Henselt - murdered at Radovid's orders, was a serious candidate for chairman of the Council after the deaths of Foltest and Demavend.

Calanthe - she was the first to die as a result of Nilfgaard's actions, after her death Nilfgaard took over Cintra.

Meve - She took an active part in fighting on the front, disappeared on the battlefield, her fate is unknown.

Esterad Thyssen - after death of Foltest and Demavend, he broke the pact with the Union, trying to cut off Kovir and Poviss from the war. He secretly granted asylum to the scientists wanted by Radovid, funded their vaccine research, and continued research on genetically modified soldiers.

Genetically modified soldiers, commonly called Witchers Squad.

Wolf Team - The main strike team, the most stable, consisting of experienced soldiers. Soldiers included in the project of their own free will. Their specialization is close combat, on an open fire. They were to escort the second Witcher Team and scientists to Velen and then set out to look for Blue Stripes and Ciri. In Velen they learned that the girl and her escort had been taken to Vergen.

Wolf Team members:

Vesemir - Team commander. He served earlier in the Kaedwenian Army, joined the program on a volunteer basis.

Geralt - served earlier under Vesemir in the Kaedwenian Army. Together with Vesemir he volunteered for the program.

Eskel - served earlier under Vesemir in the Kaedwenian Army. Together with Vesemir he volunteered for the program.

Lambert - selected from recruits from the Kaedwen military academy, the youngest member of the team. He was against the program, but he joined it because his friend did.

Berengar - previously served in the military corporation Salamandra, was a volunteer from them who took part in the experiment. He had an episode in the Kaedwenian Army; he knew Vesemir before. He turns out to be a double agent acting on the orders of Salamandra. Eventually, he turns away from the corporation and remained loyal to the Team.

Cat Team - Quite unstable team, it consists of people whose genes were highly susceptible to mutations. They come from social margins and mercenaries, they joined the project for a good pay. A light mobile group, they specialize in long-range combat (snipers), scouting, and are able to get into buildings that are difficult to access (parkour). Their task was to escort scientists to Velen and care for their safety. They also had a secret mission from Radovid.

Cat Team members:

Jad Karadin - Team commander, he previously worked as a mercenary. After reaching Velen and separating from the Wolf Team he betrayed the scientists along with Brehen and Gaetan. He was ordered to take over the research and notes and deliver it to Radovid with the scientists. Karadin also murdered Henselt on Radovid's orders.

Gaetan - Former mercenary. Along with Karadin and Brehen betrays scientists at the behest of Radovid.

Brehen - Former mercenary and thief. Together with Karadin and Gaetan betrays scientists at the behest of Radovid.

Aiden - the only member of the team from the military academy (the same as Lambert), joined the project because he needed money. Together with Kiyan, he tried to protect scientists from the rest of his team. The scientists managed to escape, but their research was taken over, and Aiden was captured by Karadin and handed over to Radovid. Radovid's scientists made experiments on Aiden and Kyian later.

Kiyan - along with Aiden tried to protect scientists from the rest of his team. He was also captured and handed over to Radovid. Radovid's scientists made experiments on him and Aiden later.

Viper Team - A team of former prisoners and criminals, included in the project in exchange for amnesty. They specialize in infiltration and assassinations.

Viper Team members:

Kolgrim - Team commander, as the only one in the team was not a criminal. He previously commanded the security service of the Council of the North Union. He believed in his team, considered them fully resocialized. His and his team's call was to protect Councilors, unfortunately he was betrayed, and as a result Foltest and Demavend were killed.

Letho - A former prisoner and criminal. Along with Serrit and Egan, he was bribed by Nilfgaard and killed Foltest and Demavend.

Serrit - A former prisoner and criminal. Along with Letho and Egan, he was bribed by Nilfgaard and killed Foltest and Demavend.

Egan - A former prisoner and criminal. Along with Letho and Serrit, he was bribed by Nilfgaard and killed Foltest and Demavend.

Ivar Evil-Eye - Former prisoner, truly resocialized, Kolgrim's right hand. He and his commander tried to prevent the assassination attempt on Foltest and Demavenda, but they failed.

Griffin Team - a group of super soldiers appointed secretly by Esterad Thyssen. It included: Coen, George and Jerome. Later, Kolgirm and Ivar joined them. Their task was to secretly find missing scientists and find a cure for Catriona. Much later they join forces with the Wolf Team and openly oppose Radovid.

Blue Stripes

The Temerian secret service team delegated to bring Ciri - a girl resistant to Catriona - from Cintra to Redania. They broke through Velen and arrived in Ellander to the border with Redania and Aedirn. There, unfortunately, they were taken over by Iorveth's guerrillas and taken to Vergen. The team includes: Vernon Roche, Ves, Thaler, Thirteen, Fenn and Silas. The Wolf Team followed them.

Salamandra

The military-scientific corporation, at the request of the North Union, began a project of genetically modified soldiers. The head of the corporation was Jacques de Aldersberg, and the main scientist was Azar Javed. They both disappeared in mysterious circumstances. Then it turned out that they were behind the chaos in Velen, they wanted to create a new race of super people that would replace humanity. Wolf Team and Cat Team encounter their mutants in Velen, they are forced to fight them. For some time Salamandra worked with Radovid to help him take over the Union, but eventually Aldersberg had different ambitions and acted on his own.

Scientists Team

Yennefer, Triss and Keira - all three participated in the project to create genetically modified soldiers as a team of independent scientists. They gave up because they didn't like Salamandra method. After being removed from the project, they were sent to Velen for research purposes. After the Wolf Team separated from them, the Cat Team betrayed and the women had to escape. They managed to escape with the help of Aiden and Kiyan, but two soldiers were captured. During escape the women separated. After returning Vergen, Wolf Team manages to find in Velen Keira, who has acquired the necessary components to create an antidote to Catriona without Ciri. The fate of Yennefer and Triss is unknown (for now ;> ).

This is just a sketch and in fact it all arose in my head only so that I would have a good excuse to set Witchers in post-apocalyptic realities and clothing and arm them with modern military equipment. Because I think they would look really good at it. You know, this is how the spinster's afternoon fantasies look like ;)

I haven't figured out a plot for Ciri and what happens to her after reaching Vergen. Somewhere here should also appear Avallac'h and Eredin, but I gave up. I don't plan to write it anyway. Speculation about this AU was just for fun.

I’m also sorry for all the mistakes I have made, I don’t write very well in English and this is a lot of text. I certainly wrote something stupid, but I don't know where...

ILLEGAL WORK - known as M or MORAN Alex will accept work as a thief, gun for hire, getaway driver or sniper. It can be up to you how long she manages to keep this rouse up, usually not too long if she’s in their regular employ. It’s more for one off jobs.

LEGAL WORK - known as ALEX ENFIELD She will take legal work as a bodyguard or private security to fill gaps as needed. Her resume talks about her service and qualifications. She will pretend to be an assistant or regular company worker as needed to hide her skillset, which is sometimes required depending on what the client wants.

PARTYING - known as ALEX She’s a self destructive party girl, and can often be found in bars or clubs looking to burn off steam. She’ll try not to give a name at all, but most places she frequents she defiantly has a reputation.

HOBBIES - known as ALEX She loves to run, she can often be found running in the parks around Islington/Highbury/Finsbury as needed. She’ll spend time in gyms and kickboxing classes occasionally, this is where she’s on her least guard.

HOME Alex lives near Upper St in Islington, and that’s her local area. Most of the bars she spends time in are in east London or over in Camden but sometimes she’ll go for a drink closer to home. She rents out the two flats below her and that could be a chance for her to meet your muse.

SCHOOL - known as PETYA or ALEX MORAN Alex went to primary school locally in Southwold and her first secondary school there too till she turned 13. At 13 she left to go to an girls' boarding school on the outskirts of London, so this would be a great place to know a tiny hellraiser! I imagine there’s a boy school attached if your muse went there, or maybe she just used to sneak out to local pubs underage and met your muse there. It’s pretty suburban but she’d start off going by Alex there, your muse might even know her under her birth name. She’s pretty scary as a teenager and has a bit of a reputation...

UNIVERSITY - known as ALEX MORAN She attended St. Andrews in mainverse, and was on a whole bunch of sports teams so if your muse knew her from varsity or a loose uni connection that would totally work.

ARMY - known as MORAN She has three main army roles, she starts out with Royal Anglian Regiment 1st Battalion C Company, and stays with them for three years. In this time she’s pretty settled, probably the nicest she’s ever going to be. Both her brothers are in the army too, so if you don’t know her through her service maybe your muse knew them? She moves in her fifth year into UKSF, so special forces with the SRR. This is the only unit in the British that allows women on the front line. Her first role is as a specialist driver for a year and then she transitions out of that into a reconnaissance role with counter terrorism. If your muse was a spy/MI5 or 6/CIA/GCHQ/NSA then this would be easy enough to figure out a connection!

FAMILY Thomas Moran has served both in the House of Commons (As MP for Islington North, Shadow Education Secretary and Labour Whip) and is currently in the House of Lords (As Labour Whip) so if your muse has political connections they would know her name. If they don’t they might have seen him in the news a few times, especially during the Brexit coverage. Her sister is a barrister with the European Court of Human Rights and your muse might know her from there.

AU VERSES

BALLET - known as Alex Moran, Alex moved from London to NY at 19 and danced initially with the NY Ballet company. She got a bit of a name for herself here though as it came out she slept with the company director before she played her first lead. She danced only two shows before the made the move to join the Royal Ballet Company in London- where she had done the majority of her training. In London she starts dancing with Hamish Watson-Holmes, they get on amazingly well but given her horrible history with romantic entanglements she shuts down any potential feelings between them very early on. They agree to be professional only, even if she refers to Hamish as her husband almost constantly. He’s her platonic soulmate. After three years, they move to Denmark as they receive and offer from the Royal Danish Ballet to train there. If your muse knows anything of the ballet they might have heard of her as an initial rising star who’s fame faded, if not she has done a little modelling that might be where they recognise her from.

MUSIC - known as Alex or Magpie (stage name) Alex does open mic nights and gigs in music verse. She moved to Manchester for three years, and lives there working as a bartender afterwards. She has one cover get a decent amount of attention online after a few years, this is mainly played on those chill coffee shop covers playlists. She really wants to be a producer, and your muse might find her online over that. Her family is still the same as main verse but her brother Sebastian is MP for Holborn and St. Pancras as well as Chief Labour Whip so would be in the news often.

MODERN WITCH - known as Alex Moran Thomas Moran slayed a dragon, that’s pretty big news. His family are old and magical, the Moran name is connected with a long line of Irish pagan witches, even if they were known under Ó Móráin. He has donated much of the hoard they inherited to charitable magical causes and research. There are legends about powerful seers in the Ó Móráin clan, although they all died tragically and young. Alex is a bartender and car thief of a witch in London, she loves to steal anything she can get her hands on. She works in a witch-frequented bar and spends a lot of her time trying to figure out how to stay awake to stop her visions. Eventually she turns into a vampire and that could be fun if your muse wants to take a tiny newbie vamp under their wing.

1. Grand Admiral Thrawn (the Thrawn trilogy by Timothy Zahn)

So I’m specifically talking about the book character here; I have no idea what’s going on in the Star Wars TV shows. But Thrawn of the Star Wars Legends universe (and the newer canon book, Thrawn) is hands-down one of the best and most interesting characters I’ve ever seen. He’s brilliant, creating battle strategies by studying his opponents’ cultural art to understand their cultural psychology and look for weaknesses in their thinking. And despite being a morally grey character, he’s not unduly arrogant and is actually extremely likeable--he has to work hard to get into the Imperial command structure that heavily discriminates against non-humans, his motivation is the best interest of his people, the Chiss, and he is always willing to explain his thinking to his close allies and friends. And who else would respond to being stabbed by smiling and saying, “But it was so artistically done?”

2. Beren (specifically, from Philosopher-At-Large’s script/screenplay adaptation of Tolkien’s story of Beren and Luthien, A Boy, A Girl, & A Dog: The Lay of Leithian Dramatic Script Project, which can be read in full here: https://rustbucket.net/leithian/index.html)

Do we not all want to yell at the gods about theodicy until they answer our questions to our satisfaction? I specifically pick Beren not from the original Silmarillion, as much as I love Tolkien’s work, but from Philosopher-At-Large’s script retelling, because A Boy, A Girl, & A Dog might just be my favorite work of literature of all time--fanwork, original fiction, or otherwise. I stumbled across it via a fanart of Beren on DeviantArt, like, six or seven years ago that referenced it, and my life has never been the same. It was hard to pick a favorite character, since literally all of the Script’s characters hold a special place in my heart, but I love Beren’s gentle, dry humor and his grim, determined, reckless stubbornness. His relationship with Luthien is of course the driving point of the story, but I thought that his relationships with Finrod and the other members of their company, and his backstory in Dorthonian and his interactions with the Valar were spectacularly done as well. This story is full of the grim determination to at least try and keep loving people, to keep throwing yourself at a problem and refuse to back down until you find a satisfactory solution, and Beren is right there at the heart of that, and I think that makes him pretty hopepunk.

3. Hamlet (Hamlet by William Shakespeare)

What is there to say about Hamlet that hasn’t already been said a thousand times by people significantly more learned and eloquent than me? I love him. He’s a genre-savvy protagonist trapped in a world where nothing! Fucking! Makes! Sense! My poor emo boy. I feel so much for him, being trapped in a situation where he needs to learn the truth in order to move forward and finally act, but there’s no way for him to get at the truth, so instead he just spirals further and further into fey, frustrated, erratic “madness.” Such a disaster bi. Definitely in love with his tired functional gay bf Horatio. Drama queen and Pretentious Asshole TM. In any decent modern au, he loves Hot Topic and gets all his clothes from there. I don’t even really do theater, but I’d love to have a chance to play him onstage.

4. James Dunworthy (the Oxford Time Travel series by Connie Willis)

The Oxford Time Travel series by Connie Willis ranges from hilarious (To Say Nothing of the Dog) to heartbreaking (Doomsday Book) and Mr. Dunworthy is right in the middle of all of it. For those who haven’t read it, the premise of the series is that time travel has been discovered, but we can’t use it to change the past, so instead it’s mainly just used by historians going back in time to study history, and Mr. Dunworthy is the head of the history department at Oxford University in the year 2060. He might be strict, but he has strong dad vibes, and, just, cares so much for all of his historians. He basically adopts Colin when Colin is stranded in Oxford over Christmas during an epidemic, he regularly puts himself in danger to look for lost historians, he helped invent time travel, and he knows that the point of studying the past is caring about the people who lived there. I want him to be my dad.

5. The 9th Doctor (Doctor Who)

Okay, I love 10 and 12 and 13 almost as much as I love 9, but 9 has to be my favorite Doctor. He was my first doctor, and what really got me hooked on the series was his kindness--hard-won and hard-clung to after the trauma of the time war. It isn’t always easy for him--the time war took everything away from him, and you can see how he’s tempted to be angry and bitter and harsh--but even so, he insists on helping people, on atoning for his mistakes, on nonviolence and using kindness and cleverness to fix things instead of violence and hate. 6. Eliot Spencer (Leverage)

The whole premise of a group of thieves, criminals and con artists getting together to take down corrupt people in power is great, and Eliot is my favorite. He may have done some seriously bad shit in the past, but now he’s just devoted to taking care of the team, and particularly his hacker and his thief. I don’t know that he believes he’s worthy of their love, but he’s still somehow the most mature and emotionally stable member of the team; he knows how to control his anger and live alongside his regrets, and despite his grumbling, he dives headfirst into protecting the rest of the team and keeping them safe. Bonus points for being in an almost-canon ot3, and for the passion that he brings to his cooking. Also, I headcanon him as gray aro and transmasc, because I can.

7. Jon Sims (The Magnus Archives)

I’m only on season 3 of TMA so far, but I love Jon with all my heart. Working at a supernatural research institute, after having had a supernatural encounter of your own, and still choosing not to really believe in the supernatural until it knocks down the door to your office and riddles you with worms? Big mood. He’s a stubborn workaholic disaster ace, and I relate because I too struggle to interact with people and tend to get lost in obscure research projects for hours at a time. Somebody give this boy a hug and then a nap.

8. River Taam (Firefly)

Once again, there are a lot of good characters in Firefly, and I was hard-pressed to pick just one of them to put on this list. But River is a sweet summer child slowly overcoming trauma to find the joy and delight in the world around her that she had before the Academy, and I want all the best things for her. Bonus points go to Simon, who gave up everything he knew to save his sister, and Mal, who stubbornly sticks to his own code of honor even after loosing the war and much of his faith.

9. Lancelot (The Once and Future King by T. H. White)

A splendidly complex and morally grey take on our favorite legendary hero. T. H. White writes a Lancelot who struggles deeply with guilt and pride and imposter syndrome--who struggles desperately to do what is right and to channel the traits he finds in himself--both strengths and flaws--into doing the right thing. His scrupulosity is sadly relatable, and the lines “It is so fatally easy to make young children believe that they are horrible” and “ You could not give up a human heart as you could give up drinking. The drink was yours, and you could give it up: but your lover’s soul was not your own: it was not at your disposal; you had a duty towards it” are both absolutely haunting. It’s only implied in the book, but T. H. White admitted in letters that Lancelot enjoys pain, and is probably bi as well, and a bit in love with Arthur, and that he feels very guilty about it, and I just want a fluffy modern adaptation where Arthur and Guenevere and Lancelot can be in the kinky ployamarous triad that they deserve and just be happy together.

10. Luna Lovegood (Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling)

While I have some problems these days with the Harry Potter series and the transphobia of its author, it’s possible to like something without minimizing its flaws, and this list would not be complete without Luna Lovegood. I spent significant portions of middle school pretending to be her. She taught me how to embrace my own unabashed weirdness, and I wouldn't be the same without her.

HOW TO INTERACT WITH ALEX MORAN/ENFIELD:

MEETING

ILLEGAL WORK - known as M or MORAN Alex will accept work as a thief, gun for hire, getaway driver or sniper. Depending on her training in the verse this can be adapted as needed, although she never acts like she is the one carrying out the job on the first interaction. She will work as an assistant or fixer, acting like she has someone else carry out this side. If you want double Morans, this is where she would like Sebastian take over. If not, then she’s going to get her own hands dirty and generally not take the credit unless she has to or the employers finds out. It can be up to you how long she manages to keep this rouse up, usually not too long if she’s in their regular employ. It’s more for one off jobs.

LEGAL WORK - known as ALEX ENFIELD She will take legal work as a bodyguard or private security to fill gaps as needed. Her resume talks about her service and qualifications. She will pretend to be an assistant or regular company worker as needed to hide her skillset, which is sometimes required depending on what the client wants.

PARTYING - known as ALEX She’s a self destructive party girl, and can often be found in bars or clubs looking to burn off steam. She’ll try not to give a name at all, but most places she frequents she defiantly has a reputation.

HOBBIES - known as ALEX She loves to run, she can often be found running in the parks around Islington/Highbury/Finsbury as needed. She’ll spend time in gyms and kickboxing classes occasionally, this is where she’s on her least guard.

HOME  Alex lives near Upper St in Islington, and that’s her local area. Most of the bars she spends time in are in east London or over in Camden but sometimes she’ll go for a drink closer to home. She rents out the two flats below her and that could be a chance for her to meet your muse.

PRE-ESTABLISHED

SCHOOL - known as PETYA or ALEX MORAN Alex went to primary school locally in Southwold and her first secondary school there too till she turned 13. At 13 she left to go to an girls' boarding school on the outskirts of London, so this would be a great place to know a tiny hellraiser! I imagine there’s a boy school attached if your muse went there, or maybe she just used to sneak out to local pubs underage and met your muse there. It’s pretty suburban but she’d start off going by Alex there, your muse might even know her under her birth name. She’s pretty scary as a teenager and has a bit of a reputation...

UNIVERSITY - known as ALEX MORAN She attended St. Andrews in mainverse, and was on a whole bunch of sports teams so if your muse knew her from varsity or a loose uni connection that would totally work.

ARMY - known as MORAN She has three main army roles, she starts out with Royal Anglian Regiment 1st Battalion C Company, and stays with them for three years. In this time she’s pretty settled, probably the nicest she’s ever going to be. Both her brothers are in the army too, so if you don’t know her through her service maybe your muse knew them? She moves in her fifth year into UKSF, so special forces with the SRR. This is the only unit in the British that allows women on the front line. Her first role is as a specialist driver for a year and then she transitions out of that into a reconnaissance role with counter terrorism. If your muse was a spy/MI5 or 6/CIA/GCHQ/NSA then this would be easy enough to figure out a connection!

FAMILY  Thomas Moran has served both in the House of Commons (As MP for Islington North, Shadow Education Secretary and Labour Whip) and is currently in the House of Lords (As Labour Whip) so if your muse has political connections they would know her name. If they don’t they might have seen him in the news a few times, especially during the Brexit coverage. Her sister is a barrister with the European Court of Human Rights and your muse might know her from there.

AU VERSES

BALLET - known as Alex Moran Alex moved from London to NY at 19 and danced initially with the NY Ballet company. She got a bit of a name for herself here though as it came out she slept with the company director before she played her first lead. She danced only two shows before the made the move to join the Royal Ballet Company in London- where she had done the majority of her training. In London she starts dancing with Hamish Watson-Holmes, they get on amazingly well but given her horrible history with romantic entanglements she shuts down any potential feelings between them very early on. They agree to be professional only, even if she refers to Hamish as her husband almost constantly. He’s her platonic soulmate. After three years, they move to Denmark as they receive and offer from the Royal Danish Ballet to train there. If your muse knows anything of the ballet they might have heard of her as an initial rising star who’s fame faded, if not she has done a little modelling that might be where they recognise her from.

MUSIC - known as Alex or Magpie (stage name) Alex does open mic nights and gigs in music verse. She moved to Manchester for three years, and lives there working as a bartender afterwards. She has one cover get a decent amount of attention online after a few years, this is mainly played on those chill coffee shop covers playlists. She really wants to be a producer, and your muse might find her online over that. Her family is still the same as main verse but her brother Sebastian is MP for Holborn and St. Pancras as well as Chief Labour Whip so would be in the news often.

MODERN WITCH - known as Alex Moran Thomas Moran slayed a dragon, that’s pretty big news. His family are old and magical, the Moran name is connected with a long line of Irish pagan witches, even if they were known under Ó Móráin. He has donated much of the hoard they inherited to charitable magical causes and research. There are legends about powerful seers in the Ó Móráin clan, although they all died tragically and young. Alex is a bartender and car thief of a witch in London, she loves to steal anything she can get her hands on. She works in a witch-frequented bar and spends a lot of her time trying to figure out how to stay awake to stop her visions. Eventually she turns into a vampire and that could be fun if your muse wants to take a tiny newbie vamp under their wing.

Day 4 of @rqgfemslashweek: Alternate Universe

One of the Good Guys

Modern AU where Azu is an investigator who is looking into a series of break-ins and stumbles upon a world of vampires. Sasha, who is a relatively new member of this undead community, has been using her recently acquired darkness and stealth powers to make a tidy profit as an, uh, antiques acquirer. When Azu doesn’t strike her down immediately, Sasha has to find out more about this stranger that spared her, and she and Azu wind up an unlikely tag team trying to figure out who is actually behind these thefts, and if either of them can keep their humanity in the process.

This is an idea I had a while ago, but never actually got around to writing. Hopefully I’ll sit down and write the rest of it, but for now, here’s a small snippet!

I wanted to focus on how, when Sasha was worried about turning into a lich, they all reassured her that she would still be a good person, no matter what, and to see how she would maintain her morals when actually undead.

In the whole story I have more or less planned, it is shippy between Azu and Sasha, but this chapter here is not.

Azu didn’t know where she was.  She’d been in a fight, she remembered that much, but then there was nothing, save for the small apartment that surrounded her.

A familiar yet shadowy figure stepped into the room, and Azu sat bolt upright, ready to fight.  Her gun was gone from her holster, so she started to reach for a lamp in case she needed a weapon, but she was interrupted before she got too far.

“Calm down, I’m not going to hurt you,” the dark stranger said.  “If I’d wanted to, I would’ve done it while you were passed out on my couch.”

Azu glanced around her and noticed that she had indeed been sprawled out on a comfy couch, several blankets tossed over her sleeping form until she discarded them in her terror of waking up in an unknown locale.

“Right.  Okay.  Who are you?  What am I doing here?”

“You got knocked out.  So I dragged you back here.  You’re big, you know that?”

“I saw you… at the museum.  You’re a thief and a…”

“I’m a vampire, yeah.”

“Right,” Azu said again, trying to parse out the stories from the truth.

“Name’s Sasha."

"Azu."

"I know.  Do you want some food?”

Azu drew back slightly.  “Do you mean… blood?”

With a sigh and a roll of her eyes, Sasha replied, “No.  I popped out and got a bunch of takeaway.  Didn’t know what you might like, and I don’t really remember how much living people eat anymore, so I just got a few things.  I figured you’d be hungry.”

“I am, yeah.  Thank you,” Azu said cautiously, hoping the rumble of her stomach wasn’t too loud.  She allowed Sasha to lead her to the kitchen, where nearly two dozen boxes of takeaway food were placed on the counter.

“I hope it’s enough,” Sasha added.

Azu couldn’t help but chuckle.  “You’ve been a vampire a long time, then?  Because this is a lot of food.  Like you said, I’m big, but this is enough for several days’ worth.”

“Oh.  Well, you got leftovers then.”

Azu noticed that Sasha didn’t answer how long she’d been a vampire and decided not to push it.  Even though she was kind enough right now, she didn’t want to risk the ire of someone with some strange abilities, undead or otherwise, especially while in their abode and weaponless.

Instead, she picked up a box of Indian food and followed Sasha back to the living room, where she sat on the couch and dug in.

“Do you… can you… do you want some?”  Azu questioned as she noticed Sasha watching her intently.

“No, no, I can’t eat that stuff anymore.  Well, I can, but it’s not pretty.”

“Fair enough.”  After a moment, Azu froze, and moved a hand to her neck.  “You didn’t… bite me, did you?  Is that why you’re not hungry?  You drank my blood?”

Sasha sighed again, but this time there was a faint smile on her lips.  “I don’t just drink random people’s blood; you never know where it’s been.”

“Where do you get your blood, then?”

“Blood banks, mostly.  It’s all vetted and tested.  And that way there aren’t people or corpses showing up with bites on their neck.  We vampires already get a bad rap, we don’t need any more people coming to look for us.”

“Makes sense.”

Azu finished eating, then closed the takeaway box and set it on the coffee table.  She leaned forward toward Sasha.  “I don’t understand what’s happening.  Why did you rescue me?  How did you even know where I was?  What’s going on?”

“I mean, you saw me at the museum.  You saw me… acquiring some antiques for some… appraisal…”

“You were stealing from that fancy gem exhibit, yeah.”

“If you want to put it like that,” Sasha chuckled.  “But you saw me as a thief and a weird monster, but you didn’t strike me down.  You could’ve shot me, you could’ve screamed, but you didn’t.  I wanted to know why.”

“You weren’t the person I was looking for.”

“That’s it?”

Azu nodded.  “I didn’t know much about vampires, didn’t know for sure if they were real, but it’s hardly the strangest thing out there.”

“Well… thanks, for not shooting me.  So, I followed you?  I was curious.”

“You were following me?  How?  I didn’t see you at all.”

Sasha smirked.  “I’ve always been good at hiding.  Since turning undead, I’ve just gotten better.  Don’t feel bad.  Nobody sees me coming.”  She continued, “When the Hunters caught up with you and questioned you, I saw them hit you, and I had to do something.  So, I lured them off, and then came back to get you.  What are you looking for?”

“I’m trying to figure out who is stealing priceless ancient artifacts from across the city,” Azu explained.  There wasn’t much use in hiding her mission, was there?  "Some of them are important to Aphrodite, and we want to recover them."  She gestured to the pink insignia on her chest.

“And yet you didn’t try to stop me?”

“You were stealing gems.  There was a group of people stealing a stone tablet on the far end of the wing.  I think it was clear which thief I was tasked with finding.”

Sasha let out a heavy sigh.  “Mortals are looking for them too, then.”

“Who?”

“Don’t know.  But they’re nicking a bunch of important things and leaving dried out bodies around.  It’s bad for business.  There are more Hunters running around town now than there ever were before.”  She hesitated.  “I want to help you.”

“Help me?”

“Yeah.  I can help you on the case.  I want to stop them too, most vampires do.  They’re not subtle; more people are going to be looking into what they’re doing, and that means it’s more likely some innocent vampire is going to get caught and killed in the process.  I want to help stop them.  I can’t do it on my own.”

“I don’t know…”  Azu pondered.  After getting knocked out twice, once in the museum, and once by the group of Vampire Hunters that came to question her on the street, though, she figured it couldn’t hurt to have someone watching her back.  “You know what, sure.  Why not?”

Sasha beamed.  “Alright.  I’m not used to being a good guy.”

“Bad guys don’t generally offer to help cops track down a bunch of murderers and thieves.”

“Doesn’t make me a good guy, though.”

Azu smiled.  “We’ll see about that.”

many of them are so...plain that i’m not sure i can pick just one. sure, they tell you what the story is about, but there’s nothing hidden in them...they’re so bland. throw a dart at a board with all my one-word titles and you’ll probably hit something

i think my first lines in general are...decent?? nothing spectacular, just meant to convey what’s going on and why it’s important (or that’s what i try to do at least), but out of laziness i’m going with the one from Everywhere Cats:

Adrift made me so emotional when i was writing it that i have to use this one:

i tend to end my fics rather abruptly (i really really hate unnecessary bits tacked on when everything is pretty much resolved) and/or on dialogue and i’m usually thoughtful of how i end it so i’m not even gonna skim through the rest of my fics because this one from Assassins is just so boring:

yes, yes i did. also looking back at last year’s list i didn’t even get any of the goals i set accomplished...whoops??

uh...Keith/Matt i guess?? maybe Allura/Lance too because i really don’t like that pairing now (though i used to be indifferent or else somewhat like it) so it’s like a retrospective “well i can’t believe i managed to write them as a romantic pairing”

uh well i’ve never posted anything more explicit than simple foreplay so i suppose that would be Final Lifeline but i also want to make note of like a masochistic moth to dragonflame because i think i did well with a touch of Unresolved Sexual Tension and Bad Press was almost candid about that sort of thing and Lance almost propositioned Pidge by accident

Saddest story?

it’s probably a toss-up between  Final Lifeline (major character death on top of a possible awful future), Misfortune (predicted character death), and a small step (they can’t really be together)

Most fun?

Bad Press was a riot while i was working on it. Everywhere Cats was a lot of fun too, as was scaled to size (though tbh i have fun writing a vast majority of my fics...)

Story with single sweetest moment?

nothing really stands out to me at the moment so this is mostly a cop-out (and Pidge and Lance are at their best when they’re teasing each other anyway) from scaled to size:

“Is there…any room for the brave and dashing knight that rescued you in that future?” Lance whispered.

“Maybe, if you find him.”

“Hey!” Lance exclaimed, pulling away from him slightly.

Pidge snickered and wrapped her arms around his neck. “But there’s room for the brave boy that grew into his too-big britches.”

“Yes, but I’m a knight now too,” Lance pointed out.

“Should I call you Sir Lance now?” Pidge raised an eyebrow while one of her hands wandered into his hair and pulled his head down. “But I think I like Lance better…”

Their noses brushed, and Pidge’s warm breath caressed his face.

Hardest story to write?

most likely Displaced because i’m not really into Keith/Matt as a romantic pairing (and it ended up more gen anyway) and i wasn’t really enamored by the idea so i was mostly just trying to wrap up what i had without getting into the concept too much

the night i bolted out of bed possessed by a spark of inspiration thanks to this art to hammer out Masquerade will forever live in infamy

also posting the start of a multichapter fic not yet finished is a risk that hasn’t quite payed off yet *sweats*

no idea. i’m decidedly not a very goal-oriented person, but for now i think i’ll keep it simple and finish my four dubiously active WIPs, write something amazing for the Plance Mini Bang (which i’m also mod-ing oh boy), and outline as often as possible to ease the writing

Theme: Thievery and archery. (I’m using a mix of modern and medieval Robin Hood as influences but honestly Disney’s version probably influenced me the most, unknowingly (or the fact that suspect it did it might not be unknowingly))

Oh wow, this is too obvious. Yeah. It’s the obvious choice for a reason. THEY EVEN HAVE THE LINCOLN GREEN HOOD! This Pokemon was made for Robin Hood. We would be upset if Robin Hood didn’t have a Decidueye.

As a young son of a yeoman, Robin was raised near the upperclassmen. He was taught that he must protect them. He must work for them. But at the same time he saw their greed and cruelty. He saw the priest who would use the poor to get themselves rich. They were not real follows of the faith of Arceus and his creation Mew (being the first Pokémon and ancestors of all life, somehow I’m making Mew is like the Jesus in this AU). He saw how the men of the manor would take more than their share from their serfs. Or how those lazy professors were making children do their work. The local professor, is the person his father works for.

The one good thing about his father working for the local professor was that Robin could spend time with the Pokémon (and his daughter might be cute). One day, the professor traded for a special Pokemon from Alola and from the moment Robin saw him, he knew this was meant to be his companion for life. It was a Rowlet. Rowlet even seemed to have chosen him. But the professor wouldn’t dare give the son of a yeoman such a special Pokémon.

So, Robin becomes the caretaker for the Pokémon alongside the professor’s daughter, Marion. Soon enough ten year old Robin starts crushing hard and Rowlet knows. Rowlet purposely spends extra time with Marion’s Bulbasaur so the two of them could met up with each other. It’s all blushes and stammering from the both of them. But soon they are able to talk to each. Marion tells Robin about how she wants to travel and be a Pokémon professor herself.

Rowlet becomes a Harry Potter esque owl and Robin uses him to send stuff to Marion, like flowers, she really likes flowers. Also he gave her an Oddish. Robin also used Rowlet to help train the other Pokémon in the lab. When Rowlet evolves into Dartrix, it was proof that in all but name Robin owned him.

With Dartrix and his dad, Robin practices with weapons, and of course mainly with a bow.

One day, Robin has the courage to give Marion a kiss. But sadly after that, Marion says that she is going to Alola to become a professor herself (they are 16 here). After she leaves the lab becomes worse and worse (or at least Robin sees it getting worse). Enough is enough, Robin couldn’t work for corrupted people and his Klefki (story is next) to steal a key and he steal Dartrix from the professor. He also made sure to grab that weird stone that came with Rowlet. (Very Silver of him.)

The three of them leave and and they start fighting THE MAN (minus the King of course, Robin still thinks of the King knew about all this he would do something about it).

Dartrix becomes a Decidueye during a Pokéfight with the Sheriff of Nottingham after the Sheriff almost caught them trying to rob from a corrupt priest (Arceus has priests in this AU). It was epic because he evolved and then used his Z move. Surprised everyone.

The moves Decidueye knows are of course his z move Spirit Shackle, Leaf Blade (also represents the fact that Robin used a sword in the early geste plus I love Leaf Blade), Brave Bird, Shadow Ball and Energy Ball (for special attack?).

They are a key thief, that’s their deal. They are very useful Pokémon for a thief.

Pokédex entry for sun: This even-tempered Pokémon has a habit of collecting keys. It will sneak into people's homes to steal their keys.

Technically speaking, this is Robin’s first Pokémon. He was out with his father practicing with his weaponry. When his father noticed he had a missing key. Which oh no, it was an important key in the lab. Robin and his father searched only to find a Klefki. Klefki didn’t want to give the keys back, so Robin caught him. Later, whenever Robin wanted to sneak out, he uses Klefki. Later on, on heist, Klefki helps get them into locked places.

Also based on the alpha sapphire Pokédex entry (It never lets go of a key that it likes, so people give it the keys to vaults and safes as a way to prevent crime.) I want to imagine that Robin’s Klefki gains the trust of the elite and then Robin uses this Klefki stereotype to his advantage and now has tons of keys for noblemen safes and manors.

The moves Klefki has is thief, play rough, flash cannon and thunder wave (I feel like that would be a useful in real life. Need to stop someone, paralyze them).

Hear me out guys. This is the giving Pokémon. What is the modern interpretation of Robin Hood? Steals from the to give to the poor! He’s a giver.

One Christmas, Robin and his two Pokémon are cold after a day of training with Little John and his Pancham. Here they go to a church being run by an actually good clergyman (Friar Tuck). While helping the friar, with his holiday charity, a Delibird walks up senses the good in them and let’s Robin catch him. Now she helps with their charity. She’s very cheerful and loves healing others and giving Robin’s loot away to the ones in need. She is always always feeding everyone.

Her moves are present, drill peck, ice beam and thief (why can the giving Pokémon learn thief? Screw it it fits the theme.)

It’s a little bandit. Of course, I gave it to the thief. Plus look at the adorableness!

Years pass, Robin is starting the make a name for himself. He’s starting the merry men (I like to think of them as a good team rocket). He even has an archenemy! Life is good, until the love of his life comes back from Alola. They met up together and she gives him this cutie pie. She said Salandit reminder her if the time he snuck into her father’s lab and “borrowed” her father’s books for her. This Salandit did something similar to her.

Robin uses Salandit and his small size to get in places where Klefki’s won’t let them.

His moves are Acid Downpour (because Marion brought the z crystal), Flamethrower, Venoshock, Leech Life (it steals HP) and Dragon Pulse.

It’s a sneaky fox. Masters of disguises. Robin Hood is a fox in Disney. Foxes are cunning thieves. And like to turn into humans. According to Black’s dex entry for Zorua: It changes into the forms of others to surprise them. Apparently, it often transforms into a silent child. Confirmed Zorua are changelings.

Anyway, back to the story.

One night after a mission Little John is very silent, too silent. After some investigations, and Little John’s Pokémon trying to attack him, they find out it’s a Zoroark! Oh no! The guy they just robbed has kidnapped Little John! So, pokéfights and archery and sword fights, they save Little John, and betrayal! Zoroark betrayed his old master and joined Robin Hood! He helped save Little John!

Robin likes to use Zoroark to screw with the Sheriff’s head.

The moves Zoroark knows are Night Slash, Taunt (because he taunts the Sheriff), Nasty Plot and Hyper Beam (He has too many dark type moves).

He represents Sherwood Forest. No more explanation then that.

Finally, the merry men make their home in Sherwood Forest. But, there are plenty of dangerous things in the forest. Some nights the they hear the eerie cries. After, months of this, they finally do something and they hunt for the sound. Decidueye, Salandit and Robin were ready for a big battle against an Ursaring or something similar… no. It was just a Phantump. She was looking for friends and has been looking for friends since she got lost in the forest a hundred years before. She finally found the friend she wanted with Salandit (her new bff) and the merry men. She later evolves protected there home in the forest. Some people were poaching Pokemon and that is not okay.

(Honestly, I could have gone way darker with this one. Way darker.)

She has Phantom Force, Will-O-Wisp, Forest's Curse and Shadow Claw.
