FIRST NINJAGO WIP LETS GOOOOO LKASMD;FOWE

So this one is basically 'what if Kai got nabbed in the pilots instead of Nya'.

It alternates between the smith siblings POV's, though it's mostly Nya for the first bit. I actually have cover art for it that I never posted because I have yet to post the fic itself lol *wheezes*

Kai gets nabbed by Garmadon, and since he's the master of fire, Garmadon decides to train him so he can go get the sword of fire for him which honestly is an idea I still really vibe with alskdfm;we

I wasn't real happy with how I wrote most of it, even though it's a full three complete, cause it sounded more like I was just typing out the episodes and replacing Kai with Nya while making her do the exact same things as he did instead of actually changing things and making it my own. Also it vibes as more of a tell than a show type-written thing anyways so that one's due for a re-write lol lskdfma;ogawe

There was silence for a moment.

“Pretty hardcore orgin story compared to the rest of us,” Jay said aloud. Then there was silence again, like none of them really knew what to say.

“No tea involved,” Zane commented, breaking the tension, and Nya laughed, her smile returning a little.

“No. No tea.”

“Disappointing,” Jay lamented, making her laugh again. “The theme’s broken.”

“Curses,” Cole said flatly, and Nya was grinning now.

“Dorks,” she said, laughing.

They fell into silence, and she was feeling a bit better.

“We will get your brother back,” Zane said after a moment, and she turned her head to look at him, surprised. He offered her a smile that she couldn’t help but return, albeit a little feebly.

“Yeah, we’re a team now,” Cole agreed, drawing her attention. “We’ll find him. And whatever happens, we got your back.”

“Those skeletons don’t stand a chance against the four of us,” Jay declared.

Nya’s eyes stung abruptly. There was a sudden weight off her shoulders that she hadn’t realized was there before, making her feel lighter and a little choked up. “Thanks, guys,” she said thickly.

“No problem, Nya,” Cole said with a warm smile shot in her direction.

“So… what does your brother look like?” Jay asked.

“Jay!”

“What?! I’m curious!”
