I had a dream last night.

I walked up the steps of a house I’d dreamed of — hoping, praying, for the day I’d make it my own. A little haven (full of peace and laughter and always enough doughnuts for everyone.)

I touched the door and passed through.

I knew she wasn’t here. She was traveling

My older self — so she had made it. Ah, but I was proud…it was quiet and dim, waiting for its owner. Its’ friend. Full of books and the art she loved, the rugs and the flowers and the messy pictures of a life worth staying for. I walked to the kitchen. There was tea on the counter, the kind we loved. It smelled just the same; rich, fragrant, full of promise. I cupped the warm mug in my hands. I knew she wouldn’t mind. I could stay as long as I liked.

I crossed the porch, one of her blankets around my shoulder. It smelled like home. I sat on the steps and the tea tasted like falling in love

Not with a person. A place. A state of being.

I sat on the steps and the sun was rising

And I knew it was almost time to go, but not for long.

One day, I will be thirty. I will pause at my door—

About to leave, to travel, to adventure and experience. But first

I will turn back to the kitchen; take down my favorite mug and leave out some tea.

The kind we love.

damn... kinda mad i didn't die in my dream last night... could've added another method to the list

#all that 'oh god im gonna die' dream stress for Nothing smh #got stabbed... i mean it was kinda my own damn fault but also was it? was it.#it was absolutely fault when the blade had to be removed but yk. didnt die so it was whatever #shaking a fist at last night's dream like COWARD!!!#what was Interesting though was upon waking up #i was still kinda dozing and i held my position #and i was very careful moving as to not jostle the knife. Not Realizing Yet. that that was a dream and was now awake #there is no knife in ba sing se #but damn. gnarly #usually i dont have to go through the whole 'coming to terms with my imminent demise' in these sort'a dreams #its typically Fast #the longest dream-death ive ever had was that one where i got shot #but even that wasnt That long #its just that the others are usually immediate. and non-wound based #absolutely unprompted #sorry to dream post but Hey tumblr blog is my personal diary. To Me <3 #its weird tho that this is the second time ive had a death or death-adjacent dream #where i woke up convinced that it was Real #knife wound.... legit asking myself if im dead after another... fun stuff!#these dreams are very interesting. in a morbid way i enjoy them

i know i’m cute and bubbly and oh so very pink but you would not believe how positively horrifying my nightmares are lol

#last night i dreamt someone kidnapped me in a taxi #and there was actually a demon inside of me #so the demon took over and i was talking in like 3 octaves to the taxi driver #telling him what i was going to do to if he didn’t let me go #just really scary stuff #and he was legit horrified lol #i had another dream someone took me to a creepy old house #and they were trying to exorcise the demon from me but it wouldn’t come out #it was just making the demon angry #i also have dreams about the apocalypse and being locked in closets and being stalked and followed #just seriously messed up stuff #bambi bubbles #dream #dream meanings #dream journal

I had a dream that I was reading discourse posts on tumblr about Scott Smajor... because he was being too good a storyteller.

I had no idea, in the dream, what was going on in the Empires storyline (which is mostly true, I've not kept up with a lot this season) but I was reading a post that started with this meme:

And was followed people sharing a thumbnail from a MythicalSausage video where he was doing something completely un-story-related with the caption "How you know everyone else is done and just waiting for Scott to finish".

From there it devolved into a wormhole of reblogs (which I followed in that inescapable hamster-in-a-wheel cycle of a really unrestful daze) of people either defending Scott's storytelling or ragging on about how he was holding the rest of the server captive (yeah. captive) in order to finish his story.

But the worst part was that no matter what reblog I clicked on, no one would actually say what story Scott was trying to tell and it was incredibly frustrating but dream-me never thought to actually like. go to youtube and catch up on videos.

there is no moral to this story it's just ridiculous that my sleeping brain a) is browsing dream-world-tumblr, b) manufactured discourse to make it more interesting, and c) was realistic enough to make sure I never fully understood the discourse enough to have an opinion on it.

#this is the most ridiculous thing my brain has done in a while #I legit searched in real tumblr for a bit to make sure I HAD dreamed this and wasn't just remembering something from late last night #tw unreality #<- not really I specifically say it's a dream but this is something I don't personally struggle with so I'd rather be safe than sorry #anyway of all memes to come up with brain... why that one #not tagging this as anything lol

Hey there! Xever and Bradford were always two of my favorite 2k12 characters, so if you Don't mind me asking, what are their roles in doth?

Well right now they're kind of just basic henchmen. Xever less so, because of the whole...not having legs, you know. They basically agreed to 'being Draxum's bitches' in exchange for Gale working on Xever.

Personality-wise, I think Bradford's pretty much the same? Xever is kind of like Tigerclaw in that he's still 100% an asshat, but I'm portraying him a bit nicer because we're only seeing his interactions with Galois. Who is a whole-ass child and is helping him walk to boot, so Xever isn't going to be a dick to him for the sake of being a dick. I do like touching on all the horrific ramifications of mutation in this fic-isolation from your family and friends, being suddenly too big or too small for a lot of shit, not having thumbs anymore. (Repo would realistically have a very difficult time doing pretty much anything with his hands like that) For Xever, he was literally banished underwater. He can't talk to anyone, can't use a screen or read a book, can't even eat normally. He could lift his head out of the water a little bit and listen to someone talk at him, but that was about it. For someone with full human cognition, that kind of boredom would be like torture.

So Galois comes in and gives him some of his life back. It's not perfect but fuck, he doesn't actively wish for death anymore. He knows this is an exchange and Draxum expects something in return, but he's still grateful for what he's got. It's not like with 2012 Stockman where everyone just fucking hated him.

Also it's Gale. He's adorable and the master of making hardened adults get emotionally attached to him without their consent.

As far as their overall role in the main plotline...I mean, we'll have to see, won't we?

#i'm still debating whether to make stockman a character #i know we have stockboy but i kind of want to include his dad #as like a crazy conspiracy theorist #probably just in the background as a more comical character #oh guys i had the WEIRDEST tmnt dream last night where stockman was like #kidnapping everything and fucking with their dreams?#like all iterations of the turtles were there #bella was there too but she escaped and killed like several dozen people before being recaptured #also there was a giant megachurch? i don't know it was fucking bizarre #i woke up and had to cuddle my bird for a while it was legit unsettling #doth #doth asks #kris bradford #chris bradford #xever montes

so when the dream started all the usernames I could remember looked like this and it was just us posting blank pictures of belos and we just kinda got what that meant

then i woke up STILL DREAMING and deadwardian Philip was sitting on my brother's bed and he started talking about stuff I can't remember but I do remember how excited he was about it
