In March 2016 — it was shortly after the attacks on Brussels, as I vividly remember the jaded state of mind I was in — I got to test a Leica M262 for a few days. I simply reconnected with the feeling of doing analog photography.
Not worrying about the result on a screen, simply letting my body move around and my finger release the shutter.
Although the ergonomics of the camera felt incredible, the files however didn’t live up to the expectations. A dated sensor on a (then) newly released camera : lots of nope.
My Fuji X100 1st gen’s files were indistinguishable from the Leica’s.
It was simply not good enough, especially 6 years later.

So curious that I have a different taste of light now than a couple of days ago.
