It's Halloween and as a photography student I went out and did some photos with a friend last night. I'm very happy and proud of this image. HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE.

Corner of Bourbon & Bienville Streets
New Orleans 1996
I have several rolls of B&W from this trip to New Orleans in 1996 and except for the original contact sheets, this is the first time that I've worked with these images. I've configured my camera scanning gear so I can easily do it at any time, without having to set it up each time. With a tethered camera connection, the images automatically appear in Lightroom Classic so I can see them right away on a larger screen. This makes it very easy to quickly re-visit older negatives.

Kitchen door @ Chico Feo in Folly Beach, SC.

Why Everyone Uses Lightroom Classic Over CC. The Simple Answer
The answer is pretty simple.
Lightroom Classic is, for better or worse, the industry standard for many photographers. Both new and experienced photographers alike often use Lightroom Classic instead of Lightroom CC. Introduced a few years ago, Lightroom CC was designed to address various speed and performance issues. It’s a lightweight version of the program. But that also means it’s not as powerful as photographers need it…
