*DO NOT reblog if you condone whitewashing, racial slurs, BLACKFACE or otherwise have posted white people and celebrities who have done these things. This post is meant to celebrate black men, not be a token splash of color in an otherwise white archive. Thank you in advance!*
One more time: if you don’t REGULARLY reblog black men, if you can overlook racism towards black people, especially by your white faves, if you only objectify (condone the objectification of) black men then move the fuck on. I will not be polite if I have to check you for ignoring this caption. This post is about celebrating black people and connecting with others who actually respect black men and not just if you fetishize us.

Catch Magic Mike Live in London for a Sexy and Steamy Night Out
Tumblr media
The most-awaited live production of Magic Mike is finally running in London!
Millions of ladies and gentlemen from around the world were enthralled with the hit films Magic Mike and Magic Mike XXL. Now, the gripping story of Channing Tatum’s beginnings in stardom is being performed live in the Hippodrome Casino in London’s Leicester Square.
Audiences won’t get to see Tatum perform his mesmerizing dance moves, but equally talented ladies and gentlemen were cast for this spectacular show.
The production features a very diverse cast, including Aaron Witter, Anthony Donadio, Dean Stewart, Samantha Baines, Jake Brewer, Ross Sands, Harry Carter, Pip Hersee, Sophie Linder-Lee, Jack Manley, and David Morgan.
Channing Tatum and Alison Faulk are co-directing the production, while Luke Broadlick and Teresa Espinosa are heading the choreography.
About the Event
As mentioned, the story of Magic Mike Live is loosely based on Channing Tatum’s experiences when he first ventured the world of show business as a stripper. It tells the story of how hard it can be to try and make a name for yourself in such a ruthless industry. There is not much to the plot, and anyone who saw the blockbuster movies would not be surprised by that.
Everyone knows that it is the sexy music and dance sequences that truly make the show spectacular.
Brace yourself for dance routines and acrobatic stunts that get steamier as the show progresses. These numbers will put you at the edge of your seats, probably screaming with delight.
Of course, no Magic Mike experience is complete without audience participation in the show. As part of the spectators, expect roses to be thrown at you and attractive hunks serenading you from time to time. The production stays true to their promise of fulfilling every woman’s fantasy, and that is exactly what the show delivers from start to finish.
Magic Mike Live runs for approximately 90 minutes.
You can also read: Enjoy A Mary Poppins Experience in London
Date and Time
Magic Mike Live premiered last November 2018 and will be running until October 2019.
Each show only sells a very limited number of tickets and they sell out fast. In fact, shows up to March 2019 are reported to be sold out already.
However, not all hope is lost. A few more performances have been added to January, and more may follow if the demand continues. Be on the lookout for these additional shows and get ready to book a ticket and stay in any of the hotels near Kensington immediately!
The performance times for the show are as follows:
Tuesday to Sunday at 7:30pm
Thursday to Sunday at 10:00pm
About Tickets
Tickets are strictly sold to guests aged 18 and up. You may purchase them at the Hippodrome Casino box office from £29 - £125.
Do remember to bring an ID when you see the show. Security might require you to present one and failure to do so will allow them to refuse your entry.
Address
Catch Magic Mike Live at the Hippodrome Casino London, located on the corner of Charing Cross Road and Cranbourn Street in Westminster, London.
The said venue is just 35 mins drive from Park City Grand Plaza Kensington hotel restaurant.

This post is about celebrating black men and connecting with others who respect black men and not those who fetishize us and our bodies.

Magic Mike Live Las Vegas
Ryan Carlson is one of 13 professional male dancers in Magic Mike Live Las Vegas, a semi-scripted dance revue billed with the promise of “women’s empowerment.
Magic Mike Live is the most recent addition to an empire Tatum has built on his stripper past, and today is the second day of technical rehearsals for the revue. Carlson already has 13 years of dance experience under his not-present-at-this-moment belt. The acting that will be required of him poses a new challenge he must overcome by the show’s March 30 debut. Luckily, he’s got a pretty good teacher.
Up until February, Carlson, 25, was living in his native Jacksonville, Florida, working as many as three jobs to support his 2-year-old daughter. “A little over two years ago, I heard they were doing a show, but I had just committed to stop dancing at that point because of my daughter,” he says. “A year later, I heard about it again. I was itching to dance, but I just didn’t have the money [to travel to the audition].” Then, New York talent agent Lakey Wolff contacted Carlson before Magic Mike Live’s final auditions in December 2016. “I had never had an agent. I told her, ‘I just can’t afford it.’ She paid for me to come and audition, and I booked it. I’m so thankful.”
“It’s not an in-your-face, guys-ripping-their-shirts-off, crotch-in-your-face [show]. No matter how sexy a girl might think a guy is standing still or in a picture, being in a dance show and not being able to dance is not sexy.” – Ryan Carlson, dancer

The cure to the common male revue?
The Vegas production has been a long time coming with at least two years of development. After Tatum appeared on Ellen in September, the show has sold more than 25,000 advance tickets.
“Channing has been there every day. He’s played a huge part in this and is involved in most every decision we make, just like a regular director,” says Alison Faulk, choreographer and co-director. “Chan always said he would never make a third movie, but this kind of is that third movie, the natural progression of things. We’ve been rehearsing and working so long that we’re really excited to see the audience react.”
A big part of the films’ appeal lies in Tatum’s talent as a dancer, that he’s not just an actor playing the role of a stripper. The show’s long, intense recruiting and audition process resulted in a cast stocked with standout performers, including veteran choreographer Luke Broadlick, who opens the show as a sort of dance captain. He says it’s hard to compare Magic Mike to other male revues, or any other Vegas shows, period.
“All I think of from those shows is seeing a dude in a bowtie and skinny pants and long ’80s hair doing kicks and turns and stuff. That’s the only depiction I knew,” he says. “I wouldn’t consider it that type of show, with the production we have and the choreography we’re doing.”
So could it be closer to something like what hip-hop dance phenoms the Jabbawockeez are doing at MGM Grand? “That level of creativity and dopeness is definitely in this show, but the sexy aspect is also way above what you’ll see [in Las Vegas],” Broadlick says. “It’s just a more creative way of really showcasing the guys and letting them present themselves to the women. We’re not just onstage doing a song and you’re throwing money. It’s really engaging, a fully immersive experience versus a show. It’s hard to compare.”
